I will finally begin to slowly use this account again...mostly for a bit, it will be to post sketches and small random artworks, and eventually will be where I upload commissions that I do. I'll also still use it for posting artwork of my personal characters and commissions I get of my personal characters...

Unless things end up becoming busier here than on my novel account, that will still be the place to catch me more often than not, so if you try to contact me here and I'm being slow, jump over there and prod me as well-I'm still working on trying to organize and maintain 2 accounts-just be patient with me, lol!

Oh, and in a week or so, I really do wish to start offering commissions-I'll post more about that later when it's time ;p

But just a short little post to say this place is still alive, and will slowly start having more activity...I'll still probably use my novel account for most of my big notices, as it's far more known than this one, so make sure to watch over there as well!

Well, a quick little note concerning activity on this account...

I've not abandoned it here, and I am still doing art, its just being posted on my novel site as that's all I've been inspired to work on lately...I love my personal characters, and will be doing more art of them, its just that now that school has started back up for me, its my novel worlds that keep me sane...and out of my many excursions to my mental worlds come lots of drawing ideas...so for now, most of my artwork has been related to that...

So if you wish to see more art from me, you'll have to see it on my other account for now...sorry about the slowness here...I will eventually post art here-it will just be slower than on my other account.

Normally I like to go to everyone's pages and thank you all, but there is too much stuff to go through...and things are still pretty crazy-so I'll have to make do with a big thanks to everyone here in a journal...

It's been a rough few months for me that are soon to be over...seriously, if I can make it through the next 5 school days, it'll be a miracle....then I'll have a month of freedom that I hope I can put to good use doing artwork and writing-I don't have money to do anything else *sigh*

I feel bad about being so quiet over on this account-I've wanted to draw, but lately the only sketches and works I can get to come out decent are little doodles of my novel characters, which I post over on my other account. I really need to get back to drawing my personal characters as well-I have so many plans for them...

Yeah...school is a real bitch this semester...I'm only in my second week and its already trying to kill me. So needless to say, I'm not really doing much art these days, and as such, my activity will be extremely limited, especially on this account.

Well, my plans have not really gone as planned here...I had planned on completing much more art, making some adoptables, doing some sketch commissions (which are still open-for now)...but its funny how when you set your mind to doing something for yourself, the universe decides to make life complicated...

I have so many projects going on right now as I cram as much as I can into the last 20 days before class starts for me again...one of the most important tasks being reading ahead in my college books so I can have a slight head start for the semester and know/review the things I've let slip from my memory over the summer...

I'm also working on editing my novel, trying to work on some art, and working on my house/yard while I'm still free. Once classes start again, I fear I'll have NO free time for 3.5 months...my classes are going to be pure HELL, though I can only hope that it will not be as bad as I fear...

So the quietness on this account will more than likely continue. I've got some stuff I'm trying to work on in between all the distractions, but its difficult with my tablet acting up-I would have loved to have made some extra money with commissions so I could replace it, but without a properly working tablet, its hard to get good examples...or complete commissions, I suppose...perhaps somewhere, somehow, I'll find the money to replace it...

But anyway...if anyone needs to contact me, it would be best to do so on my other account, as my computers stay logged in over there most often...

I know I've been dragging my feet and talking about offering sketch commissions now for months, but I've run into a situation that I now have to do something to help contribute to my family's finances, and getting a regular job just isn't an option for me-my classes that start the end of August are going to be way too intense to even think about working as well, and I know from experience that I can't handle the stresses of school, work, and running a house-it does bad things to my physical and mental health...

But any way-I've had several major surprises arise the past few weeks that has resulted in us having to severely deplete our emergency funds-we no longer have money to fix the perimeter of our house to keep the basement from flooding, and I just recently discovered that my stupid school did not allow me any grants or scholarships as they usually do-I'm going to have to depend on student loans, which I already have too much of...

So as a goal to aim for, I need to come up with $1000. Am I looking to make it all from sketches before the end of summer? No, most likely not, but I work better when I have a semi-long term goal in mind

An immediate goal is to raise ~$300 so I can purchase my college textbooks online, used so I can avoid the outrageous prices of the bookstore and I really need to do some studying over the summer to prepare for one of the classes so I can be ahead of the game...

So, I'm going to be offering some cheap sketch commissions and eventually some adoptables to help raise the funds toward this goal...

Hello everyone!

I know I've been far too quiet on this account for a while now-I don't have any really good excuses so I'm not going to ramble any out. I'm just going to say that I'm going to be slowly getting myself back into doing art...and first up, I'm going to be practicing doing some coloring by making a few adoptables, as everyone seems to like these things (including me XD) I'm looking into buying some base packs to start out with, that I can modify, then later I may make my own custom ones...

But I'm seriously needing to start making some side funds to help contribute to my household expenses. Namely, I need to earn up some money so we can build up around our house to keep our basement from flooding this year. I need to come up with around $800 to help make a big dent in those expenses-I'd rather do a lot of art than have to rip everything out of my basement-its the only nice area of my house at the moment and everything of value that I own is down here....so we need to make sure it's protected as best as possible.

I'm also wanting to eventually start doing some sketches for commission, but I don't feel like I have enough examples for people to be interested...

But long story short-I'm about to start being more active-I'm about to start making some adopts to earn some funds-I'll update again when things get kicked off

Gah, don't know what it is or how to move past it...but I've fallen into a weird off mood that I just don't know how to move past...I don't know if its extreme boredom or mild depression or what...but I can't get excited about anything, drawing feels like a chore...I feel like doing nothing, but at the same time, doing nothing is completely boring the shit out of me...TV makes me want to pull my hair out, reading puts me to sleep...I've hit a big huge pothole in my writing (finally made it to a chapter I skipped when I originally wrote it cause I didn't have any inspiration for it...and I still dont...)

Well, you can probably tell where this is going...I really have nothing much to update on this account-all my activity has been occurring on my my novel account as I've had a few projects that i need to get done and lined out as I work toward larger projects. I have lots of ideas for personal art, a new dragon character to draw and post, but finding time between novel work has been a chore...but I'm going to try! Just don't be too upset if not much is happening here yet-eventually it will-for now, I've been posting quite a bit of art (a lot for me anyway) over on my novel account.

Sorry guys! I haven't died on this account or my other, I've just been taking advantage having lots of writing muse...I'm trying to get a first revision of my novel typed up and posted to my other account by the end of summer break, and here lately, I've had a lot of time on my hands and a lot of will to work on this-I'm sure it will fade shortly, as it always does, so I'm taking advantage of the opportunity while my muse is still geared toward the project.

I have also found myself on a slight art block, which hasn't been helping me art wise-I'm still trying to doodle daily, but most of the sketches come out looking like crap and making me mad...when my writing urge dies down, I'll start concentrating more on artwork...

So for a little bit, this account may be a little slower to add new stuff than my writing account. If you like clean sci-fi type stories with an attempt at having a real plot, I've got 14 chapters up on my writing account-It's a first revision-it still needs more revisions and it is not in its final form by any means-I'd love constructive input of any kind, even if it is to say a particular scene is too wordy or unnecessary, or whatever, as long as it's not done in a mean way...

But anyway...just wanted to update over here-if you need me at all, its easier to grab me on my writing account for now-I'll get back to arting as soon as my muse refocuses!

I've got my last test of the semester to suffer through on Friday, then finally I'll be back to doing arts. I think I'm finally over my art block, so I'll be posting here and on my novel account quite regularly (I'm hoping anyway, lol) I've got lots of characters to get caught up drawing, character sheets and profiles to make-so much fun stuff!

And then...After I get some more sketches done and more into an art groove, I'm really wanting to try and offer some cheap sketch commissions-not sure if lineart and flat color will be offered just yet, and most of the sketches will be similar in style to what I've been posting-but I'm needing to help supplement the household income after losing some rental income (family's moving out of my basement) But there will be more about this later once I've had some time to practice and become more comfortable with a style-I'm wanting to draw all kinds of creatures and expand beyond canine and feline...I'll be posting more when I'm ready to try this new venture...

But expect to see this a tad more active than it has been...

I've been feeling so....cooped up, itching to get away from my surroundings and try to wipe away the frustrations on the past...year and a half? Yeah, that sounds about right...but anyway-finding something that could do that and not get me into trouble and not cost me money I don't have was the challenge.

But then an old friend that I've not seen in that year and a half contacted me several weeks ago randomly-an old horse trainer/riding buddy, and I got a brilliant idea-horse riding always seemed to cure my funk moods, and we've been missing the horses we used to have (they were lot of work but at least they kept us active). But after weeks of trying to get our crazy schedules to match up, I finally got to ride...

And I must say my ass hurts too much to even think about my past troubles. What was I thinking? I've not been on a horse in 1.5 years, and was fairly new to them back then. I'm terribly out of shape from sitting on my ass during that time...now my ass hurts too much to sit...but it was totally worth it and I plan on repeating the experience. Lol, I guess I really am insane XD

I'm dealing with an art block at the moment, mostly likely brought on due to the fact that I only have 3 weeks of class left-and lots of homework that needs to be done-I've tried drawing, but nothing is coming out decent-so it will most likely be quite from me for the next month on this account-

But I will be posting chapters of my novel once a week on my other account-I've got them typed up already, just sitting on them so I can at least post something over the next month. Once summer break comes along the second week of May, hopefully I'll be back to getting art accomplished!

I wanted to thank everyone for the watches and favorites in this transition time. I'll get around to visiting everyone in time, when things settle down. I just wanted to come and make one big post to say how much I appreciate you all-This moving accounts stuff is tedious for sure! But I cannot wait until it is all done and I can keep my personal stuff separate from my novel stuff...

Both accounts will continue to be active (as active as I have time to do art anyways). With the semester almost over and no big plans for the summer, I hope to get lots of art done for both places!
