Boring People Fear AI: Part 2
General | Posted 4 months agoI’ve encountered a number of people upset over this AI girlfriend from Grok. I have never used it, but I have this to say from the burning shithole wreckage that is modern dating. If you are less interesting than an AI chatbot, then you have already been replaced. This goes for guys too, but by far, the biggest ‘user’ of this Grok # Blond Hot Chick chat bot thing is men, and if videos online are to be believed (as I’ve never seen one of these chatbots in use in public), then apparently women (in general) are for some reason pissed that otherwise ‘dateable’ men would rather talk to an anime avatar than them. <Shrugs> Look, if a glitchy AI chatbot that breaks, loops dialogue, and sometimes just stops working entirely and crashes, is a more pleasant interaction than YOU are, then the problem isn’t AI or animated titties, it’s you. You’ve never had real hardship, you aren’t capable of humor, or understanding irony, and you can’t hold up a conversation that doesn’t revolve around you or your imaginary ‘friend’ Becky. Then perhaps, maybe, AI will replace SOME humans, the awful ones, for whom a fleshlight and a cell phone with a stable internet connection is a better user experience.
Proposed solution: be more interesting than Elon Musk’s latest cash grab. Pretty sure you have to pay to unlock your X App’s ‘skank’ mode.
Maybe learn how to bowl well enough to get a 215 average on your league season, and find something more useful to do with your hands than to make videos where all you do is make constant clapping motions and bird pecking motions with your fingers.

Name Changes Suck, No Activity
General | Posted 5 months agoI am seriously considering purging my watch list. The sudden name changes is frustrating because now I have no idea who the artist is, and have to view their user page to find out who they used to be. Though I have been considering doing this previously as after the big outage, most people post on other sites or telegram. I can go almost an entire week now and no new posts here on FA, but telegram is filled with notifications. And certainly no one notes me completed commissions. Always email, telegram, or the odd Discord post over in a while.
AI will only replace bad, boring, and lazy artists
General | Posted 7 months agoThere are a lot of high demand, fast paced, talented artists that have implemented AI into their workflow. Musicians and writers too. If your work is highly derivative and/or repetitive, low quality, slow (either your work ethic or is tedious); then yes, AI will do your job better and faster. Thank God. The age of gatekeeping “you traced My trace! You art thief!” Dogs/cats, foxes, pokemon, and other companies’ IP with big dicks and tits is over. Bunch of DeviantArt deviants. And the world is a better place.
“Hey everyone, I drew a rule 34 Scar with G cups, so check out my merch store where you buy that print on a body pillow!”
-popular anti-ai artist probably
Yeah, goodbye. You won’t be missed.
There are a few artists right now making several hundred to maybe a thousand dollars from me these last six months. They’re helping me design custom characters from scratch or a description from my story. Down to the hands and ears or spinets and hairs or spines. With specific backgrounds, etc. they are taking classes and improving their art. They aren’t static. They’re hungry. They don’t take two years to draw a person drinking coffee.
Let the era of real creators begin!

The Lost and the Forgotten Project
General | Posted 2 years ago38 years ago almost to the day, class 5-2 went missing, except for me. Every time over the years I’ve attempted to even discreetly inquire about 5-2, I get significant pushback to the point where last time, 2 peoples from a ‘field office’ showed up and started asking questions. I’ve long since stopped trying, and it’s time to move on. I figure everyone who didn’t want to remember that class is long dead. I think it’s finally time to move on.
Deidre was a cute girl with really long hair, she taught me how to do a three part braid, ASL, and Braille. So I’m turning her memory into a Siamese Cat Girl. Because why not.
As the artwork gets created I’ll post it.

Not much time left: Get prepared now
General | Posted 2 years agoBe where you want to be by June 2023. That’s when the normies will start to notice that things are very very wrong. The fall won’t be a sudden drop, it’ll be a long steep decline as the financial sectors continue to fail with increasing frequency. Bitcoin, gold and silver (physical only). Buy it regularly, don’t tell anyone. Keep your crypto offline and not on an exchange or hot wallet. Get dehydrated food, and keep a jug of water fresh and ready. This won’t be like 2007-2009, this is going to be much worse. So much worse. SVB wasn’t even the start. Credit Suisse wasn’t the start. Those were just the obvious failures that were big enough to not cover up. The Evergreen failure in China last year, the Turkish banks failing in early February which contaminated the German banks failing in late February were the first big dominos, then SVB and 12 other banks in March, and then Credit Suisse in late March. There’s over a hundred other small - medium banks already in the process of failing in the US right now. By June/July 2023, regular people will notice. And then someone on social media will make some post about how they couldn’t do something, and that’ll be the initiating event.
It’s going to be a long fall. Years to recover. Be where you want to be. Don’t panic. Don’t make sudden changes.
