Please stop using photoshop for your drawings. Photoshop beongs in no part of a drawing. Photoshop was designed for editing photos, not for creating drawings. The brush engine is not fit for drawings. Novice artsts should preferably stick to pencil. Not many hundered dollars worth of software. Professional artists wont USE photoshop because they know it won't get the job done.
This is mainly geared towards novice artists, for that reason. Novice artists have no buissiness in digital media. It cripples them. Even if you absolutely REFUSE to stick to traditional media, there is a cheaper, and better, solution. ArtRage 2.5. It's 25 dollars. If you think you can afford photoshop, you can afford ArtRage. Theres even a free version of ArtRage, without the gravy like layers. So for the love of God, why are you still using that crummy program?

I want to make something clear.
You give valid criticism of people's art from what I've seen. Your points are lucid and accurate.
You are, however, an asshole.
That is what I don't like. I am not questioning your right to give criticism, to tell someone when they've gone wrong. That is something that must be done in order for the offender to learn they have done something that needs to be fixed. However, when you shove it down someone's throat like you do, nobody is going to take kindly to it.
I'm telling you this as a favor. I am a critic's critic. But you see, I also do other things. There is nothing sadder than someone who's entire purpose is to find fault with other people's achievements. Critiquing is something that should be done in passing, on the side. You need to produce as well to be a valuable member of society.

First off, I have freedom of speech here and I'm damn well going to use it to tell you what I think of you. You got a problem with it? Just ignore me. Learn to deal with people who hate you like you'll have to do in the real world once you leave your parents' basement.
You don't have the first clue what the meaning of "valid" is. You can't even speak proper English. You know a thing or two about art, but nobody fucking cares, because nobody is listening! You're as worthless as Paris Hilton.

So, while Im waiting for submissions in the meme, I come across this. At first he makes some valid points, and then he degrades into the most elitist asshattery Ive seen in a week.
Apparently, you have to have paid out your asshole to learn something you can teach yourself, or have asked other artists about. Just kinda funny is all.
I say we have fun with his gallery.
How are those meme submissions coming along? I demand results!

I knew the original pic well because I told Ice it is one of my favourites and how I would love to see our characters drawn in that sexy position cause its very hot and cute. so he flipped the image so it was not a complete rip off and did his own background on it. Again I say, this was ment as a GIFT to me at my request."
Well, apparently tracing is OK when you flip the image. So, I had a thought. Since some of Zen's poses are so "hot and cute," Lets grab some of his art, make a mirror image flip of it in photoshop, and make a trace of it.
We need to do what Icelyon did, so this is still OK in Zen's book. here are the rules:
1) You must mirror flip the original image.
2) You must change the species of the characters in the picture. If youre doing a picture of two furres going at it, and dont know what to draw as the second character, go ahead and try a german shepard (me).
3) The art must come out crummier than the original. It sounds difficult to get worse than Zen's art, but its doable. Go by icelyon, and ignore shading and decent/appropriate facial expressions.
4) When finished, post a link to your Zen Flip in this journal!
Thats all folks, go ahead and have a ball. If we get enough responses, Ill join in too :3
