General | Posted 6 years agoHey all, I'm checking in to update you on the situation with my computer. Thanks to some wonderful people, I was able to get the power supply to replace in my computer. I'm very grateful to everyone and and I thought you should know how it went. Me and a friend got together last weekend to install the part. The power supply was indeed broken, as the computer would finally turn on with the new one installed, however, it wouldn't do anything else past that. I brought another older tower with me (hoping we could squeeze some part out of it, but they aren't much compatible) and we did stuff like swapping video cards to check issues. The video card from tower A (current broken one) wouldn't work in it, but did work in Tower B (the older one). Tower B's video card wouldn't work in A, but did in B. Tower A's RAM also worked in B. So at this point he tells me that it's either the motherboard or CPU that are also broken. I have no idea how this sort of thing could have happened as I keep my computer on a battery back up surge protector. I can't imagine what could damage a power supply and either (or both) of those things. So at this point I'm stuck. I think it'll cost hundreds of dollars to replace the motherboard and/or CPU to get my current computer running again. Another option is to get a new hard drive for the older tower. It still works and can take some of the parts from the newer one, but it's pretty old, way weaker than my current (so no more Monster Hunter World streams and capped at 16 GB RAM), but at least then I'd have something until I can figure something out. What do you all think?

General | Posted 6 years agoI'm really nervous to ask about this and I've been thinking about it hard for over a week, but I'm not sure what else to do. At the beginning of summer, but PC broke down and I've been unable to get it fixed this whole time. I've been working on it as best I can over the summer, and I think I've narrowed it down to either the power supply or possibly the CPU itself, as it won't even turn on anymore. Sadly, this will be a costly situation to fix and with my next college term coming up I haven't had and won't have much in the way for extra funds for this sort of thing.
I feel ashamed to ask, but I need help. I'll be providing a PayPal link so if anyone wants to help me, I can gather up some funds to help me buy new parts so I can get it back up and running. Besides it's use for socializing and gaming, my computer is how I do most of my homework for my classes and take my tests as a lot of them are online. I was also hoping to start putting together a voice acting portfolio as I have a educational background in acting and had gotten a recording microphone for my computer before it broke. I'd love to voice projects as a passion and maybe a way to make money on the side.

Shin_Gallon and is a wonderful embodiment of romance. The show of such tender affection with the use of lovely colors. It looks like the kind of date I'd love to go on. For me, I think the use lighting is really good here, especially with the shadows it really makes the characters come alive. I think these two make a cute couple and I know you will think so too.
