Posted 13 years agoFurry Fiesta continued its tradition of buying me out of everything I could bring this past weekend! From filling up the tournaments past the cap of 16 players (24 Friday night, 20 Saturday night), to making it so I had nothing to sell on Sunday, you all were great!
I had tons of fun with Someguy, Sangie, Golath, Blackrise, Rennec, WinterFox, Neom, WolfieFang, Manders (thank you for all your help!), Tobu, TigerPillow, Fin Wolfsky, Msako, Avalon, Nightfire (hope you got your speakers!), Yenshi, JonnyPhoenyx, LittleFox (congratulations on going undefeated in your first tournament!), Raith, and everyone else I forgot to mention!
And if you thought this year was a blast, next year is going to be even bigger and better with the release of Tribes of Tanglebrook!

Didn't receive an invitation? Don't worry, we only sent out 20 invitations, and we only opened 18 art slots. We will open more slots and send out more invitations all throughout January!

Posted 14 years agoWe are having technical difficulties getting the Artist Portal up for Tribes of Tanglebrook. We will send out our first round of invitations tomorrow, January 3rd. Sorry for the delay!
To keep everything fair for everyone, we are releasing a handful of art slots and sending out a handful of invitations to artists every Monday until the set is done. :)

Because of the issues we ran into last year with too few art slots for too many artists, we will return to the way we did invitations two years ago with Triskelion -- we will give out weekly invitations and add new card slots each week. This way, artists will not get bogged down by 20 people applying for the same art slot (forcing us to reject 19 applications), and it should help us to develop more consistent character art throughout the set.

"Tribes of Tanglebrook," the fourth Furoticon set, is nearing completion! However, we need a lot of help to make sure we didn't overlook anything!
Is there a card that's way too powerful?
Is there some broken combo that ruins the game?
Is there a card that costs too much for too little in return?
Now's your chance to make a difference and play before the set comes out! We have our own chat set up to play games online, and anyone who can play reliably is welcome!
Requirements:
* Be able to play at least 1 game per week from January 2 to February 19, and write a report on each game played. That's 7 weeks, so 7 games minimum. If you don't play, you'll be evicted from the playtesting group.
* Good typing skills and a grasp of the English language.
* The ability to both give and take constructive criticism in a professional manner.
* The ability to keep information private. Do not share any information about Furoticon with anyone outside of the playtesting chat. That means you can't even share just one card with a friend or loved one outside of the playtesting chat.
* A valid email address.
* Knowledge of card games NOT a requirement.
I will accept at least 25 applications.
