Omg it's been looooooooong time! Life has been so crazy!

I graduated, moved hundreds of miles, and started up a new career. I have a lot less time on my hands these days, so I'm not doing commissions for the time being. I may post personal projects going forward, but I don't expect to be very active on here as my career in the medical industry is very demanding now.

The exceedingly sexy Rastaban dropped a mention of me, so I figured I would come on here and provide an explanation for my absence. All previous commissions were refunded or completed. Thanks for all your support to everyone who helped fund the last painful months of my education during the pandemic! You are wonderful :*💖

...and yet I hadn't expected it to happen so soon.

I lost that awesome new job that I got. I guess I can rest easy (somewhat) knowing that it wasn't because I did anything wrong, but it still sucks bigtime. I'm bummed out about it.

However, this does mean I am back on that ol' commission grind. While the pandemic experiences a resurgence in my area, I think I will not job hunt too aggressively, but rather focus on my commissions. For those of you with existing commissions with me, I will be prioritizing your pieces before I take any others.

Once I have finished the pieces I am currently committed to, I will most likely re-open my commissions until the tides turn for COVID-19 in my area. I love being traditionally employed, but the current situation seems highly prohibitive of such employment. This is difficult for me, but I have to think of my emotional and physical health. Losing this job after investing so much hope in it has been incredibly heartbreaking and I don't think I could handle it if I had to do it again.

So while my wonderful new job has come to an end, I hope that I can find some small pleasure in bringing all your wonderfully hot stories to life once more!

A lot has happened since last I updated you all, and it's all really excellent stuff!

As most of you know, I was waitressing to put myself through school before COVID-19 shut down all the restaurants in my county. When I lost my job I started taking on as many commissions as I could in order to keep afloat, and many of you helped me pay my bills and feed myself with the business you gave me. For that I am DEEPLY grateful. You guys totally saved my big round ass!

Towards the tail end of last month, restaurants started reopening, and I started looking for work again. Unfortunately most businesses were rehiring their former employees, and only a fraction of their original staff; usually the more tenured ones. Since I was the new girl at my old job, I didn't get rehired. I was sure I wasn't going to find another waitressing gig, so I even started applying for everything from government jobs to loading UPS trucks! I was getting no calls back :(

Last week, though, I finally caught a break, and oh boy was it a killer break! I went in to the busiest pub on the main street of my downtown area, and started shmoozing with the other employees, and found that they might be hiring due to an upcoming event; so I put in my application the very next day. I got a call for an interview the day after that! I went in and interviewed, and to my disappointment found that they didn't need any more servers.

That was when the hiring manager sprung it on me; they were looking for a new Assistant General Manager!

Turns out he loved my resume so much, he wanted me on the team one way or another, and the college education sealed the deal for him. I sizzled it by telling him about my retail and public sector management experience, and one thing led to another...And now I'm the Assistant General Manager of the busiest restaurant in my downtown!

All that to say - My life is a whole lot busier right now. It is likely that some of the pieces I'm currently committed to will be a little late. I want to publicly own this, and apologize. For those of you that have done business with me before, you know this is not common. I have already refunded one commissioner due to this, and the offer stands for the other three who are currently waiting on work from me. However, it is my hope that I can complete the remaining pieces for my remaining clients.

My current plan is to clear out my commission queue, and then potentially take one or two longer term commissions (allowing one month or more per piece, rather than 2-3 weeks).

So thank you, everyone, for supporting me and my work. I apologize for the lapse in my punctuality, and look forward to giving you more quality smut in the future!

I think all of us had some point in our lives when we realized how much we loved anthro art and storytelling. Maybe it was watching cartoons as a kid, maybe it was seeing something racy as a teenager.

For myself; the first movie I was ever totally obsessed with was Disney's Robin Hood. I thought that fox Robin Hood was so cool, and so handsome. I wasn't sure If I wanted to be him, or if I wanted to be rescued by him like Maid Marian!

Since posting this, the images I've linked to have begun disappearing one by one. It seems like someone is trying to cover up admins track record. Rectifying these errors only after having the spotlight shone on them doesn't address the inherent culture problems that created this issue to begin with. It also indicates that my account is being watched very closely.

Let me start this out by saying;
I am not here to contest a suspension, or the removal of my submissions. Likewise there are no links to my own submissions in this document. I'm here to point out an existing double standard within FA that needs to be addressed if this is to be an egalitarian community.

Additionally, in no way do I mean to imply that anyone is wrong for sharing the content that I reference in the following document. I encourage cis-male, cis-female, trans, and non gender-binary scalies, furries, and humans to revel in their sexuality whether they are gay, straight, bi, pan, or anything else and let their freak flags fly, being proud of the diverse array of shapes and sizes of their bodies, within the reasonable constraints of decency and legality that should apply to us all.

That said, if you don't want to see cis-male, trans, and non gender-binary folk in various states of undress, don't follow these links. Assume they are all NSFW because most of them are, and assume most of them are not cis-females.

All the content I reference in the following is hosted on FurAffinity, and therefore purports to follow its ratings and upload guidelines. This is further evidenced by the long periods of time all the following content has remained up at the discretion of FA staff. I also believe it is all labeled for the appropriate level of maturity, and therefore is not accessible to anyone who is not of an appropriate age to view the material.

Recently I have had five of my photos taken down.

I was told I violated section 3.3 of the acceptable upload policy, which states;
Section 3.3 - Photography depicting nudity or physical contact with nudity (exposed buttocks, breasts, bulges, outlines of genitalia, etc.), indecently-clothed models (undergarments, diapers, lingerie, etc.) is prohibited. Exceptions may be made for swimsuits worn in public locations, such as a pool or beach, but not activities such as breastfeeding.

The first two photos were of me wearing a bandeau (a kind of crop top). In one of them a small portion of my breast that I would have usually covered was showing. These were taken down because an administrator perceived my tank top to be a bra which is underwear, and considered the nip-slip to be nudity. Understandable, on the nudity front I suppose. When told that the bandeau was outerwear, the administrator said it didn't matter because it looked like a bra to them and underwear/lingerie is not permissible content.

The third photo that was taken down was of me wearing a tank top that is sold as festival wear. This was taken down because an administrator perceived the shirt to be a swim suit. When I provided evidence that it was a shirt, the administrator claimed it did not matter. If it seemed like a swimsuit to them but the picture wasn't at the beach; it was inappropriate.
The fourth and fifth photos were of me wearing a top I got at the renaissance faire (woopwoop ren faire!). I also wore a pair of shorts that matched the top I got for a music festival. I ended up editing parts of both of these to make them into digital artwork which is arguably a lot more free of restrictions, but was told that modifying parts of the picture, even if it was a majority of the picture, did not change it from a photo to digital art.

The fourth picture was taken down because the admin perceived the bottoms to be a swimsuit, and once again did not feel the evidence to the contrary was relevant. So the same standard was applied; no swimsuits if not on the beach. To remedy this, I edited this picture to show me at the beach. It was taken down again because the administrator said it was not originally taken at the beach.

The fifth picture was taken down because a small sliver of the same shorts was visible, and there was another nip-slip. I modified this picture by editing out the nip slip, and removing the small visible portions of the shorts and replacing them with a blackout. This was also removed, and this time I was told that the issue was because that "By removing or cropping out the swimsuit, the image is left with what appears to be an exposed buttocks which is also not acceptable". Which means that implied nudity is also not acceptable.

As you can see, these standards are applied with much looser interpretation to other users, primarily other users who are cis-male, trans, or non gender-binary; whether they are submitting pictures of themselves, or submitting pictures of cis-females they have edited or chosen to share. I think this represents a culture that shames women for their bodies and sexuality.

For staff;
I would encourage you to examine the selective nature with which your administrators have been applying their administrative privileges. The current situation seems to indicate a culture of sexism and harassment.

For users;
Since addressing this with site staff has not yielded any kind of accountability on their part; I have been in contact with the company that owns FurAffinity. If there are any other users who have experienced or witnessed this kind of discrimination; please feel free to message me through email (Sequoiahthebtdg@gmail.com) or on FA so I can get you in the loop and you can add your voice to this discussion.

You may have noticed by now that all my photoshoots have mysteriously disappeared!

Just now I received notice from administrators that my submissions were removed for nudity. The rules state that bare buttocks, bare breasts, the outline of genitals, swimsuits, and lingerie are not permitted in pictures on FA.

Naturally, I am appealing this decision since none of my pictures contain any of that. From what I can tell; festival wear, bandeau's, and ren faire attire don't constitute lingerie, and underboob/cleavage doesn't constitute bare breasts!

But hey, I've been chesty for most of my life; I had to get used to getting singled out for the way I look pretty early on. A girl with an A cup can wear a tube top and everyone thinks it's cute, but I get called a sl*t for wearing the same thing. As a young girl this was really hurtful and scary, but as an adult I recognize jealousy and bitterness when I see it. I decided some time ago to stop caring about the double standard and be proud of my body. If I'm being honest; that's a large part of why I post the way I do on here, and why my scalesona has the same body type that I do (roughly, lol).

So, if the pictures don't come back; you know what happened. However, do not fear! What is apparently not acceptable here in photographs is pretty mild and acceptable in digital art ;)

I just wanted to take a moment to clarify some things for those of you who may be watching my profile, or for those of you that have just discovered me and would like to learn more about the kinds of stuff I do. I just want to state up front that I don't think anyone has knowingly crossed these lines yet, and that this is more of a set of guidelines going forward. This isn't directed at anyone with the intention of shaming or castigating. I have received a few requests lately that made me feel like these things needed to be stated, though.

First off, I am not single. I'm in a happy monogamous relationship. My partner is a member of this community, and is fully aware of my level of engagement on here. I don't keep secrets from him, and I don't do anything behind his back. He is supportive of me and what I do and share on here. Please respect this.

Secondly, I write professionally. I've been paid for my academic papers. I would like to incorporate this into my life here on FA as a creative writer, too. Yes, I post risque pictures of myself on here. It's fun, and I like to do it. I can understand that it would seem reasonable to request pictures from me considering this, and I won't rule out boudoir style photos on request in the future. However, I deeply dislike the idea of having pictures of my naked body floating around the internet. Additionally, if this is ever a service I do decide to offer it would be exactly that; a service. That entails a transactional exchange.

Wow, it's been a while!

I've been super busy with the start of the school semester, and I just got a new job. My time has been stretched thin, but I'm hoping to be a stronger presence on here again, now.

As a side note, I'm writing a book! Here's a teaser;

Vivienne was never exactly what you would call normal. She always felt more at home in the great outdoors than she ever did around her age-mates, or even her adopted family. She was sure this adventure would be life-changingly wonderful; the kind of excitement she really needed to cut through the boredom of her new life as a college student. Little did she know that the caves she entered did not exit in the secluded Kentucky wilderness, but rather in a dark world of fantastic creatures that run a market that caters to even the darkest of desires. Enter a world of magic, lust, and high adventure with Viv in "The Disappearance of Vivienne Stanton".

Well, I've been on here a while now and I've published a few things so far, so I figured it's time to write one of these journal thingies!

Hello all eleven of my loyal followers! lol

But seriously, I'm glad to have you thank you for making me feel all warm and fuzzy...or should I say cold and scaly? haha

I do want to post more of the Origins series, but it seems like there isn't a whole lot of interest in it, so I may dedicate my time to writing more of the sample series.

So most of my sample writing right now will involve exploring as many different fetishes as I can think of.
