i might be a bit slow to respond to things right now, please bear with me. something's been up with my ear, these past few weeks it's painful and I can't hear and I'm constantly dizzy and sick. this makes it hard to do anything meaningful, like respond to messages or draw. i'm going to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully will find some relief or answers, but i don't expect this to clear up immediately, so i thought it'd be best to keep y'all in the loop !

some computers and devices.... cannot find the wifi i have. maybe half our devices do it fine, the other half our wifi doesnt even show up as an option, but all these computers ARE wifi capable, they just won't show our wifi in the list. i've never had this happen before and idfk whats causing it and im so tired of it.

i just got finished with my last exam of the semester. starting tomorrow, i'm gonna start getting through my commissions queue again!

they put my gf on some meds that seem to be helping a bit, so that's good news! however i've spent something like $400 this week alone in medical bills, and that number is only gonna go up! so i'm gonna put up a few adopts i've been working on these past few days in between studying, and i'll probably make up some more ychs and stuff in the days to come to hopefully offset Some of these costs because i cannot really afford them!!

i’m in the ER with my gf, her health has been steadily declining and idk what to do or what’s causing it, and it’s also finals week, so i’ve decided that

all commissions will be put on hold until 1 week from today, friday the 27th

sometimes, for no discernible reason, the entire right half of my body just. decides to be in excruciating pain. for like 2 weeks. and then it just goes away again, for like a month. i have no idea why it happens, doctor responses have been in the realm of 'nothing is wrong with you, fuck off'. but it's so bad that i can barely walk and it's very distracting.

so thanks for that body. really chill of you.

i know i said i was trying to get everything done asap but the truth is that i'm in an incredibly bad place mentally. i've got a lot of schoolwork and i'm trying to do that and also do all my commissions and ALSO 100% take care of my girlfriend who is very very sick all the time and its. taking its toll on me. i spend several hours a day crying because i cant do anything else. i'm at the end of my rope. and as much as i'd like to stop taking commissions i CAN'T because i need to pay my gfs medical bills and buy food and pay rent.

that said, if you absolutely can't tolerate the delays i'm happy to refund you.

i'm still working on things, just much slower than i would like.

i had to take my GF to the doctor [ER] and, as i'm typing this, it's 1 AM, and i have to be awake for an exam in 6 hours, so i'm gonna be a bit Wonked tomorrow and that was when i was gonna work on a bunch of commissions, so please bare with me on this.

i'm still gonna try to have everyone's commissions done in as short a time as possible. i'm just very stressed and over-extended at the moment, i'm sorry.

i've had an exceedingly bad morning so i wanted to draw some free art and like. i dunno. spread some good vibes i guess. is that silly??? maybe. but you get free art out of it so hey.

just comment with a ref (you can do more than one, but if you give me a whole toyhouse i probably won't look through all of it) and i'll pick some to draw. will be at least a doodlepal-style chibi, but might be more details if i get inspiration :p

i've been having a bad easter morning lads!!!

so the situation is that i'm trying to do my taxes. my dad claims me as a dependent though i don't live with him nor does he pay any of my living expenses. i thought maybe this was like, an honest error yknow. because i'm his kid. and multiple people and sources have said its illegal for him to claim me, so he just might not know?

but i called him this morning and told him he can't claim me, because it's illegal and ALSO, if i claim myself i owe the irs about $2500, but if he claims me it's gonna me significantly more, and i already can't afford the $2500.

he got downright nasty. he said i HAD to say i was his dependent. i said i can't. he said if i refuse, he cuts off my insurance and he won't help me with any medical bills. which, because of how little money i make, and because i have at least 2 chronic illnesses i;m trying to deal with, means i might legitimately die.

he's trying to threaten me into committing a crime, essentially???

i don't know what to do. i really don't. my options are a) commit a crime by lying to the IRS, and ALSO owe them a lot of money i cannot in any way pay . or (b) defy my father and lose any emergency fallback, my medical insurance, and probably die.

so. i don't know. if anyone has any... suggestions i'm open to them. haha.
