Made a page if anyone feels like tossing me a couple bucks. I'm still working out what to do for other tiers, but those will probably come when work slows down.

Holiday Update
Posted 3 years agoHey all! Haven't been terribly active as of late. Work has been nonstop lately but hopefully things will chill out starting this month.
I still need to finish uploading Ruby's No Nut November escapade, along with how she, Krissy, and Sheila celebrate her little stress test ;)
And hopefully by tomorrow night, I'll have a couple renders of Krissy and Jenna celebrating New Year's the best way they know how!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I'll see you all in 2022.

Commission Slots Closed! [2/2]
Posted 4 years agoOkay, trying this again. I'll be opening up two commission slots. I've included prices down below, along with examples from my gallery.
These will be in no particular order as Daz's limitations force me to be really choosy about what I can or can't do.
If you're interested, drop me a note and we'll see if we can't figure something out!
Slot 1 -
kazudanefonfon (Staging)
Slot 2 -
zero_raider1 (Complete)
Single Figure Simple Render -- $20
Example: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/35347846/
A quick and easy method that includes one figure, and either a flat-colored or environmental background. These renders usually can be processed in anywhere between ten minutes to two hours from an empty scene to the finished product. This type of render is ideal for pin-up poses or quick and easy character design mockups.
Single Figure Detailed Render -- $30
Example: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39918071/
A more detailed scene with a full set and staged lighting. Due to additional objects in the scene, these renders take anywhere from two to four hours of render time, depending on the scene. A little more demanding, but you get some bang for your buck. Ideal for characters built around a specific theme or motif.
Double Figure Simple Render -- $35
Example: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32636672/
Following the same rules as the Single Figure Simple Render, but the price has been upped to reflect increased render time from adding a single figure. Expect the render time on images like this to be between one to three hours after staging.
Double Figure Detailed Render -- $45
Example: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39846490/
Same rules as the Double Figure Simple Render with an upped price to reflect further increased render time. Renders of this quality can take four to six hours in total after staging.
More Than Two Figures, Detailed or Simple -- $[Please Ask]
Example: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34388630/
I'm still learning the limits of my rig and Daz itself. As of now, I think my upper limit is full staging with seven figures, but from there it's tough to gauge how long my rig will need to render.
Limitations:
All image types are available as SFW or NSFW, and I do not charge extra for use of either a flat or HDRi background. The difference between each of these seems to have little or no impact on render time.
I do have two day jobs, one of which has an unstable schedule, and as such I prefer to receive payment after rendering is completed. The reason for this is simple: If, because of work outside of 3D art, I end up taking too long for a commission, you may cancel your order without fear of me running off with your funds. However, once an image is rendered I won’t send anything more than a screencap to you until payment is received.
Wait times for your commission are estimates, not guarantees. I often have to pause renders in order to do other things on my computer. Because of how Daz works, certain materials or effects can drastically lengthen render time. I also often let renders run while I’m at work or overnight.
The prices listed above are intended to be per pose, meaning if you want a single pose with multiple angles you will only pay a single amount. It takes less time for me to set up multiple cameras for one pose than it does to change the pose entirely.
At this stage, I cannot create full-on anthropomorphic figures. I can only render characters as human or humanoid, i.e. demons, cyborgs, classic fantasy races. The closest to anthro I can get at this stage is either cowgirls or foxgirls. Draenei are a maybe with some patience, as I'm still figuring out how to pull them off.
I am not opposed to rendering male figures in the slightest, but I’ve invested a lot more into female figures. If you do want me to create a male character for you, bear in mind that, at least for now, I’m far more limited on my options for male figures.
Process:
Send me your idea and details for starters, and I’ll stage the scene based on your instructions. Before rendering an image, you’ll receive a screencap of the scene should you want any changes to be made. You may request as many changes as you’d like given how easily I can make adjustments. Quick and dirty test renders can be done, but they do take a little longer and aren’t always the best representation as to how the final image will come out.
Once we’ve settled on staging, I’ll get to rendering. This can take anywhere from an hour to a day, depending on how detailed your scene is. Once the render is complete, I may need to feed it through Gimp to sharpen up image quality, but from there I’ll notify you when it’s done. After payment is sent, I’ll be more than happy to supply you with a Dropbox link to your commission.
Additional Info:
There’s a lot I’m still learning about Daz as I go, and a lot of things I don’t know how to do just yet. As nice as some of these renders look, I’m still very much an amateur at this. Please understand that I’m not a 3D god that can simply make specific props, textures, or patterns appear out of the blue. I’m working with what I’ve got!
I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time and for any reason. Generally speaking, I will refuse a commission if I lack the proper assets for a render, the knowledge of how to pull off what you’d like, or if I simply don’t think that I’ll do a decent job.
Tips:
-- For character designs: The more description in text or more references, the better! It’ll give me a solid idea as to what you’re looking for.
-- For specific detailed markings, such as unique tattoos or bodily scars, please let me know if you have a transparent .png file available. I’m not capable of recreating any tattoo or marking from scratch. I can approximate some stuff with the assets I have, but having a transparent image file ready is ideal for me.
-- Any outdoor staging will take significantly less time than indoor staging or enclosed spaces, given how the Iray lighting engine works.
These will be in no particular order as Daz's limitations force me to be really choosy about what I can or can't do.
If you're interested, drop me a note and we'll see if we can't figure something out!

Commissions Update + Asset Availability
Posted 4 years agoIt's a new year, I've learned a lot about 3D modeling, so I'm thinking that I may open up a couple of commission slots soon. Keep an eye on my journals on Sunday!
Keep in mind that I'm juggling something like three or four different image sets, two long and two short, so commission availability is still limited. Given the state of my jobs and these confounded lockdowns, I'll likely be bumping my prices up.
Some of you may have noticed I have two more anthro-like characters in my gallery, Aika the kitsune and Kela the oxgirl. As it stands now, these two characters are as absolutely close as I can get to anthro characters, so y'all will still have to settle for humanized or humanoid renditions of your characters. I'm slowly looking at Blender lessons for some custom sculpting, but I don't have all the time in the world to just throw myself at Blender yet.

Rest Easy, Buttercup
Posted 5 years agoAt about 10:30 this morning, we said goodbye to our oldest corgi, Buttercup.
She was refusing to eat or drink and inactive. The night before, she had a short-lived sort of shaking fit and didn't want to leave the house.
She wasn't skin and bones, but we knew she was hurting. My parents made the call to have her put to sleep this morning.
I wasn't there when her big sister, a border collie named Molly, had to be put down. I've been a wreck. The day just feels so empty without her.
At least I know she's no longer in pain from her liver slowly failing, no more fluid acruing in her abdomen and no more uncomfortable swelling.
Sleep tight, B. I'll see you again someday.

2020 Gets Personal
Posted 5 years agoI don't make many journal posts often. Hell, there's a bunch of art I've been meaning to post but it just seems like I've never had time for it.
I'm still reeling from the news and it's put me out of sorts all morning over it. Last night, I learned that our oldest dog, a corgi, is suffering from liver cancer. She'd been retaining fluid in her abdomen since around Thanksgiving. The vets drained a liter of fluid from her belly before her ultrasound. According to the images, there isn't much of her liver left. The cancer hasn't spread to other organs, but unless we continually take her in for drainage, she only has a couple of weeks left.
It's not the first time I've lost a pet. I've said goodbye to cats and a dog, but this seems so...unfair. She just turned 11. Old, I know, but corgis typically live until around 12 to 14 years. And with how rapidly it set on, no one in my family was quite ready for this. We've had her since just before I finished high school, and she was always there to greet me when I came home from college on weekends.
She's active and eating now that the pressure's been relieved, and we have medication that'll help her liver process things, but she's on borrowed time. I've never been particularly religious, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't praying for her meds to carry her through one last Christmas. Between this, my grandfather's stroke over the summer, my family's catering company in the tank because of the lockdowns, and being snubbed for every promotion I've applied for at my second job without explanation well...
...I don't think that anyone would blame me if 2020 were to manifest itself as a person and I used it for some Punisher-style target practice.

Buck Did An Oopsie
Posted 5 years agoGoing back through Purgy's Tavern Romp, I realize now that I accidentally skipped shots 12 and 28. I'll upload those in my scraps, and once the whole set is up I'll undertake the tedious task of linking every page together.
Such is life when dealing with a massive image set. That, or I replace all the files one by one which will mean some reuploaded shots.

On 3D Art
Posted 6 years agoOit of curiosity, I have a question for all of my regular watchers.
My gallery started out as a repository for anthro characters, and while I've transitioned to creating 3D stuff via Daz, I've noticed that my commissioned works tend to fare better than my own 3D submissions.
Do you think I should make an alternate account dedicated solely to my 3D material and leave this profile for anthro stuff, or do you not mind the blend of 3D and anthro commissioned work?
Obviously I wouldn't be deleting this account, but I'd like to know if anyone has any preferences for one or both types of art in my gallery.
Let me know!

Article 11 & 13 Pass in the EU
Posted 7 years agoLegitimate question: How is this going to affect commission accounts?
For those that don't know, Article 13, or the EU Copyright Directive, is intended to cut back on the unwanted sharing or reposting of copyrighted content. However, the wording of it is a little too vague for me to consider it a good idea. In a nutshell, all content uploaded in the EU will be scanned to check to see if it matches existing content. If so, either the upload will be blocked or the uploaded will be required to pay a tax for using copyrighted content.
What's "copyrighted content?" Basically whatever the EU deems as such. Based on the wording of the article, it's intended to be used to catch similar phrasing, but I can see how the law could be extended to cover anything.
Now, I'm in the US, so I honestly have no idea how this'll affect accounts on this site. I realize that a lot of the content on this site is copyrighted only in spirit, let's say. We acknowledge ownership of one another's characters but i think few users are actually paying to maintain a copyright on their characters. Guess we'll just have to sit back and see how things pan out. I sure as hell am not paying an overseas charge for uploading a commission that I paid for. Do I think Article 13 will be used for policing art uploads? No, but I can see the possibility of it.

A Shot in the Dark
Posted 7 years agoI'm going try out commissions by opening for three slots for renders. Prices will be available on my Commission tab. Please keep these details in mind before you note me with details!
1 - I'm still new to this, so I want to keep my prices low. There's a lot about Daz that I don't know how to use yet.
2 - Pricing is per image, but I am willing cut a deal for sets longer than 3 images.
3 - I have a TON of assets for female characters, but my inventory for male characters is rather low. I'm not saying I won't do male characters, but I have a lot more flexibility with female figures than males.
4 - I can only do human figures, not anthro characters. There are assets out there for more fantastic, bestial figures but I don't have them yet :D
5 - Given that my rig is showing her age, I do not want to exceed more than two figures per scene. Two figures causes my rig to slow down drastically, and while I have done some three-figure renders in the past it's proven taxing enough that my rig has threatened to lock up.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave them below!

Potential Commission Stuff
Posted 7 years agoI'm strongly considering opening up for commissions given how well the Moxy & Alison set went over, but I'm not sure what to set for a price point. Currently, what I've got is this:
Single Character Simple Render - $15 Easy, fairly quick renders with no scenery that come together in about an hour or less. These can be nudes or clothed, and make for great character mockups.
Single Character Scene - $20 A scene with a proper set and a greater emphasis on lighting. These renders generally take 3 to 6 hours to process. Price is increased due to the advanced render time.
Double Character Simple Render - $30 Also fairly quick but these can take about as long as a single rendered scene.
Double Character Scene - $40 About as detailed as I can get. Expect these to require around 10 hours of render time.
My prices are based on render time more than time spent building the scene, as I always spend more time rendering the scene than constructing it. I can generally throw a scene together pretty quickly, and tweaking figures for a character design is usually fairly quick. I don't want to go above two characters as that may push render time into the 20+ hour range, which is a LONG time to have my rig out of commission.
I do have a couple of disclaimers:
1 - I'm still new to this, so I want to keep my prices low. There's a lot about Daz that I don't know how to use yet.
2 - I have a TON of assets for female characters, but my inventory for male characters is rather low. I'm not saying I won't do male characters, but I have a lot more flexibility with female figures than males.
3 - I can only do human figures, not anthro characters. There are assets out there for more fantastic, bestial figures but I don't have them yet :D
What's everyone think? Too high? Too low? Give me some feedback!

Gallery Update
Posted 7 years agoI've got a folder dedicated to my 3D renders now, with its own subcatergories.
Kicking around the idea of commissions, maybe $10 for a single figure image, $20 for two figures, $30 for two figures with a set. It's based more on render time than anything, but nothing official yet.
Requests are still available, though I'm still very new to Daz.

Journals Are a Thing: Updates and Stuff
Posted 7 years agoI forgot that journals existed for a moment.
Welp, I finally graduated. Got myself a BA in Creative Writing about a week ago and now I have no idea what I'm going to do. Only took me eight friggin' years to get here! I don't really have much to say about university beyond that some professors needing to get out more, or read better books.
For now, I'm taking advantage of the downtime before getting on top of a job hunt for writing gigs. Killing time with game streams, audiobooks, and a ton of 3D work that I need to post here. I'll probably be rolling out more of my stuff over the next few days.
