Sorry you guys for the long wait on those sketches, I swear as I have time I will work on them! I just have commissions and stuff on other sites that come first ^^;

But the inspiration is there for when I get bored (aka over upcoming breaks!)

Another update within the span of a few days? Wow.... I'm being especially productive this week =D

I have to say this, though. Thank you sooo much all of you who are watching me now! I'm seriously honored, and hopefully I will be able to make it worth your while! You guys are amazing and deserve pretty things to look at, so I am going to try to make that happen =]

This has been a very crazy, awful, and all around hectic week for me! Lots of goodbyes as break ended for friends and they ran off to respective colleges, and as my sister had to head back to Louisiana =[[ very sad, but hopefully I'll see her sometime in the near future again. Other than that I have been working nonstop as pig season dwindles to a close and I have to help load out and powerwash the buildings x.x. Good for the broke college student in me, but I swear, my car will never be the same again ;.;

Sketches this week, until I get all this stuff finished, will be few and far between! I will get started on the list soon though =]. I can't wait to start! They will be so much fun!

I believe this is it. Now off to hit the books. Full schedule of hours does not agree with me, especially with so many handing out homework in the first few days back to class. Welcome to college! At least I have a few days to get it done, haha! The procrastinator in me rejoices!

Hey all!

So, I am going to be pretty busy these next few days, but after that, my schedule pretty much opens up! Exciting, right!? I am currently doing a lot of work out on my uncle's pig farm (fun fun XD) but after that closes out, don't have much besides school.

That means more art time!

I have decided that, in order to fix my style, I need to focus on thinking outside of my own characters and do something that I'm not used to doing. What does that mean?

So, I've been thinking, which is never a good thing. Not these sort of thoughts, at least.

It's starting to wear on me, this constant feel that my artwork is going nowhere. I think I have improved immensely over the past few months, but still, nothing. No watches, no results, no anything. I feel like I could stand in the middle of a site and scream, were such a thing posssible, and still, no one would even turn to glance.

To be fair, I haven't done much here. It's more on other sites. I have entered countless contests, but never won. I have applied for many jobs, but never gotten one. I have been offering paid commissions for two years without a single response despite numerous updates and dirt-cheap prices.

Seriously?

I don't know, maybe I am a horrible artist. I certainly have a long way to go. Still, I think I deserve a little bit of credit. I'm starting to get tired of even drawing anymore, it's so discouraging. It's like I'm spending so much time on each piece, yet no one cares to look. It's my own fault. I guess I'm an easy person to pass over. I used to think, though, that the internet was different. I was always the one in the corner in real life, watching others have fun while I simply observed, but on here, I could be anything. Now, though, I see that I can really only be myself, and obviously myself isn't enough.

Gah, I don't know. Maybe this is just my paranoia and low self-esteem rearing its ugly head, but I am about fed up. I am going to work at improving my style, but if things don't look up, I may just throw in the towel. I'm tired of disappointment.

I actually completely forgot about this site XD and my account within. Then I decided to write an article on wikinut about art sites..... and suddenly remembered all my other accounts besides deviantart!
