Sat here and watched all the first 4 seasons of Sons Of Anarchy that's what. Well started it BEFORE I got suspended, but having nothing better to do helped me get deeper into the obsession. Almost done watching season 5 now. My favorite is, Juice ((ofcourse)) close seconds are Chibs and Gemma. So thank you FA for getting me into my obsession just a liiiiiittle bit more. ;)

So will just rat update for now:

Elephant's kids are all fantastic aswell as Gargoyle's. One little girl has an eye infection and has to be away from the others for 2 wks while it clears up, but she will be ok. They are 4 wks old now and I've already seperated them from moms. Usually I wouldn't do this until the 5th week, but the moms were looking pretty drained. Especially Gargoyle who was taking on most of the feeding duties with both litters.

Hairless rat Poodle had 9 babies. 4 females and 5 males. I suspect all will be hairless. My rat Plague also had a couple of kids. She was able to push out two, but the rest became lodged and didn't come out. I gave the two kids to Poodle so Plague could recover. She expelled the rest of the babies and is on antibiotics to prevent infection and is acting like her old self again. She had two males. I suspect both will be black. I will let one be adopted out and will likely hang onto the other.

As for myself. I'm getting better day by day. I still miss my friend. I'll always want her back. The memorial is this weekend.

First, hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween! Second, remember all those rats I got at repticon? Turns out the hairless girl -Poodle- is pregnant. I was suspecting it for a while as her belly began to swell up, and sure enough last night I saw babies moving. She's in a nursery tank in the bedroom now and I expect peepers any day now. I know the person that I got her from and there is a good chance the dad is hairless also so there will be some hairless kiddos probably. As you guys also know I do breed some -feeders- so I currently have two pregnant furry moms due any day between now and Friday. So I don't expect much if any problems. No I am not upset by this. I am prepared. I know as well as anyone that when you have as many rats as I have sometimes these things just happen.

Im getting bout fustrated. People know I breed some rats for MY snakes ((frozen, none live before anyone assumes anything)) and now everyone in GA it seems is asking me for some, but the BAD part is noone is talking about paying for them either. Oh, sure Ill just give you FREE rats. Whatever. If I have -spare- frozen and they want to PAY me, sure. Im not going to over breed my rats to feed everyone elses snakes because believe it or not...unlike alot of snake owners who breed their own food I CARE about my rats. Go figure. Cripes. It sucks cause they're mostly friends and I hate being rude, but...Im not doing that. I even had one friend I know who is still in school asked me if I had a couple for the schools snake. I was like 'the school cant afford to feed the snake?' apparently I was suppose to -give- the teacher some of mine and she'd go out and buy some later. Hows about no? If you go -rescue- a snake and then have to come to me asking for 'a couple of rats you can just -have-' then I don't think you need the snake in the first place. There are tons of petstores around. They sell frozen rats. Enjoy.

FINALLY got some bigger tanks last night. Our Brazilian Rainbow Boa is going in the 100 gal on Sunday ((the person we got it from had that repticarpet stuff in the bottom and WHEW lord..what a smell. Im personally not a fan of that stuff atleast not for snakes, but if youre gonna have it, i unno..maybe change it often??)) Anyhow...tanks are clean and all that jazz just gotta get some bedding for the guy. My ball python ((Goblin)) already got to go in her new tank ((thank God there wasnt repticarpet in there too)) which is a 75 gallon. She's all kinds of tickled.


In rat news - Rat baby eyes should be opening soon. Hoorah!! Probably between today and Sunday. And yes, there will be pics!

And I have uploaded a couple of photos I took from Snake Day. I know the variety seems limited, but really they were showing off mainly the venomous snakes native to where I live. Only ones I didnt get good shots of were the pygmy rattle snakes and I didnt see any coral snakes there. They had two adult copperheads and a batch of babies, those were my favorite. <3

Today is Snake Day at a Nature Center near my town. Going with the fiance and the kiddos. Hoping to meet up with a couple of friends. Taking the camera so hope to have alot of fun pics for you guys when I get home tonight. =)

Just hit level 71 on my Goblin Priest on WoW. Felt like bragging. She's my first WoW character and by far my favorite. Have only been on there for a year or so. I've ALWAYS loved goblins, so as soon as WoW came out with goblin players I had to have it. Lucky me my fiance got it for me. -NERD-
