O.< Wasabi Addiction
Posted 12 years agoI cant stop eating things covered in wasabi ! I love the burn it gives me in my noes. The best thing is it goes away in like two seconds! So I can go back for more without feeling the previous effects.
Currently Eating wasabi coated peas. I need to find a store that sells that wasabi flavored popcorn! I miss it! XD Maybe I will get some sushi tomorrow and slather it in wasabi.

She currently is struggling with dental issues and to fix the problem its going to be pricey.

T^T Frustraighted with my Art Skillz.
Posted 12 years agoI dont normally whine about things. But this is driving me nutts.
NOTHING I draw feels genuinely satisfying. I feel like my style is all over the place. Which Im sure has to do with the fact that I want to dabble IN EVERYTHING. I want to be more realistic, but I also want to pull of lovely stylized art.
But its all just exploding into a huge mess!
Im torn about every decision I make on every part of a picture. I flounder at what to do with backgrounds, they end up looking cluttered and busy.
My drawings feel stagnant and void of movement and emotion. Even when I think I am putting emotion into it. I often find myself compensating emotion to make things look right proportion wise. Like I wont draw my characters smiling because when I draw them neutral they look way better.
Ontop of that I over do things. I like detail and I am overly anal about things. I see people who slap paint on some picture rough and hurried but it looks gorgeous. I try that and I start flippen because it isn't perfectly blended.
Is it weird to miss the way you used to draw?
I miss how I used to draw ! I just drew shit and was happy with it! My style wasnt bouncing around, I may have struggled with a few things but more with stuff like making hands not look like sausage. My coloring seemed to be better put together for my type of style !
It feels like Im pushing a bolder up a hill and the closer I get to the top the steeper it gets and just as I think Im about to roll over the precipice to the other side I loose it and go tumbling back down .

Its seductively addicting and so much fun to read. Once I started I couldn't stop!

Posted 12 years agoIts finally coming to a end ! All of the overtime I put in. Im so flippen beat! Two 12 hour days in a row then a night shift the day after! For two weeks! All that on my days off. BWAH!
Its finally done, I just hope it was worth it on my paycheck. I have a feeling I will be underwhelmed after Taxes dip their greedy hands into it.
But now that its done with I can sit down this weekend and actually really work on my commissions! I hate making people wait!
So to all of my commissioners. Im sorry. But da billz need a paying.Why is this not common knowledge !?
Posted 12 years agoWho here knows that Mangoes are in the same plant family as Poison Ivy !?
I learned the hard way after eating one.
Apparently their is concentrations of uurshiol in the skin and pit of the mango. (later I learned its also in the leaves and stems)
So here I am eating a mango like I normally do. I don't eat the skin (which some people do) but I eat it down to the pit and out of bordem and tastiness I gnaw on the pit. If anyone eats mangoes they know that the pit has a rough texture, which causes a very slight abrasion to the skin around my lips.
Well little did I know what that little abrasion would cause !
Two days later Ive got this tiny rash at the corner of my lips, I didn't think much of it other than it was the abrasion healing. THEN I start to notice a tiny little bump on the top of my lip. Then I start to flip out thinking I have a cold sore. Which I have never had in my entire life, though my mother and brother get them.
So Im flippen out, but cant do much other let it run its course.
Not even a day later, hours later, I start to notice more little bumps.
WTF IS THIS!
Its definitely not a cold sore at this point and the more I look at it the more I notice it looks like fucking, flipping, poison ivy!.
Well noting that this all came about after eating the mango, I do a little internet digging on mangoes and rashes.
Low and behold! Mangoes have the same shit in them as poison ivy! BWAHHHHHH
SUCKS!
At least Im not allergic to Mangoes, just the POISON THEY HARBOR, in their skin and pit. So eating the tasty is still okay, just proceed with caution.
But if anyone else has this problem a great way to get rid of it quick is dabbing the affected areas with tea tree oil! Dries it up super quick! Mine have nearly dissipated entirely because of it.I just don't understand why! It drives me crazy!

Okay I get informing us that a artist takes down a picture or something.
But favs and comments! WHY!?
Its hard enough getting favs and comments and then you suddenly look in your messages thing and you get that lovely warm fuzzy feeling as you scroll down the list of favs. "Daw, look the ppls liked it." Then you get that one amongst the many. "User has removed favorite " and your happy moment is gone! Eatten up by the remove monster button! In this world "No, takesies backsies " Does Not Apply. BWAAH!
Then all I can think is why?
"Oh noooo! I accidentally hit dat button! If people see me looking at such things and see dat I faved it. I will be shunned for sure!... Oh wait I forgot lol. I can totally do takesies backsies !"

Commission for a Bathroom ?
Posted 12 years agoBWAHHH! T^T I have a house warming Party coming up for my new place but I have one problem. My bathroom isn't finished!
I still need to replace the floor with new tile, I need a new vanity, a new sink, and I have to refinish the tub. ANND! T^T I might need a new toilet. I dunno what in the world the last people have done... but my toilet tilts O.<. Its probably the floor but who knows. This is what happens when you get a fixer upper lol.
My Goal is $500!
I'm offering Equine Commissions only due to the fact I don't have a lot of spare time and Equine or Equine like creatures come the most easy for me, so I can pump them out quickly and efficiently.

House!
The house is coming along! It is now livable! Every nook and cranny has been scrubbed and scraped down and is now squeaky clean. All the walls are painted.... for the most part ( still needs to do touch ups in bathrooms). My bathroom tile still needs to go down, but that is happening in the near future. Though a new sink/cabinet set is going to have to wait ... Im broke again >< * Shakes a fist at her piddly Tax return * I only got like half of what I should because I kept my piddly job in WV, of which I only worked 2 times a week... part time. Cost me 800 dollars >< yep. Sucks ballz. ANYWHO
We now have lush lovely carpet and a new hardwood down in the dinning area. We now have flippen furniture! A dinning set! A love seat and a pull out couch, for guests when they come. Or they could lounge in the 3rd bedroom on the fainting couch that will be residing in said room. We are the proud owner of a microwave! FINALLY! As well as a new Smart TV ( thank you lyn!) with the added bonus of a Comcast bundle, giving us both TV and Internet!
My friend has her full bed set and room set up. Mine is still half assed lol. But since I dont live there yet on a permanent basis it wont be. But I now have a a new bed to go with my new comforter set and pretty soon it will be filled with my lovely books and such things.
All that is left aside from what i have mentioned is to decorate! and acquire my grandmas piano from her old house! ... and some other little piddly things. But for the most part everything is put together!
Wish we would have taken before and after pictures though. It doesn't even look like the same house!

My friend and I finally got ourselves a house!
Yep! Finally a house to do what we wish.
But to save some money we got ourselves a fixer-upper.
Now its nothing major. Mostly cosmetic.
Mostly Cleaning, scrubbing, new coat of paint. new carpet. The bathrooms had to redone with tile and such. But that is about it. No structural damage.
BUT OMG! This stuff takes forever!!!! I dont ever want to have to paint a entire house ever again !!! EVER! I will save up my money and pay someone!
My friend who was too impaitent to wait for my dads help went ahead and tiled her bathroom.... yeah did a few things wrong. Wont go into that. But Im going to wait for me dad to tile my bathroom.
But we are almost there!
Furniture will be arriving soon! About ready to go pick ourselves out a new flat screen TV!. Hook up some cable and we will be good.
So untill things settle down I will be rather scarce! So much for my comeback lol ! Lasted about a month!

Hectic Time Of Year
Posted 13 years ago Christmas is always crazy time of year and for me its finally winding down!
But I had a great holiday despite the chaos. lol Got to see nearly all my rellies. My grandma whom was in the hospital because of all sortsa stuff including a stroke was home for the holidays.
On Top of all that we celebrated her birthday and mine which linger around Christmas. Before Christmas though my mom threw me a little get together with my friends neighbors and co workers. Then my best friend and I the next day went trail riding XD
It was so much fun! Second time riding in a western saddle... still hate it>< English saddles are soooo much more comfortable. Who ever said otherwise was numb from the hips down.
So this being my friends first time ever riding I was understandably worried. But they paired her up with a good well rounded beginners horse. He really was a great horse! BUT SLOW AS HELL.
I didnt want her to be left behind so I pulled up the rear. It pissed my horse off lol but oh well. Her horse was like that oblivious old person who goes like 10 miles under the speed limit.
Eventually we got so impatient with her horse we were telling her to kick and to use the riding crop that I hadn't noticed was attached to the saddle. lol Now I understand why. But yeah my friend didnt really seem to understand the effort needed to be put into making a horse go. Eventually I gave up on telling her to kick harder lol.
So yeah ! After that we went to a Bob's Furniture store to sit on some couches because my friend and I are finally moving into a house !! XD so exciting! If all the paperwork gets drawn up on time ... like it was supposed be this past friday. Then on monday we should be set and by 4:00pm the keys will be in our hands and the house shall be ours!
Then all the work starts! Up goes all of the carpet and in the trash. Down goes new carpet and hardwood. Then we are putting down new tile in the bathrooms, scrapping off the hideous back splash in the kitchen. Then paint, paint, paint, and paint some more. As well as scrubbing with every inch of the house with cleaning products!
We plan to have a Drunken new years cleaning party. XD Hellz yeah. Im legit super excited about it.
But yeah ! So their is that going on and then their is drama at work because of the holidays and the snow. Shifts have been all wonky! Almost ended up having to stay overnight >< never wish to do that.
Then there are my distractions at home which come in the form of a brand new PS3 so now I dont have to share and the entire collection of Assassins Creed Games XD As well as Books ! and new amazing art supplies ! Sakura water colors XD Hellz yeah and Humungor Watercolor paper XD.
So as you can see Ive been a busy bee and now with this house business Im going to find myself even more busy.

But I had a great holiday despite the chaos. lol Got to see nearly all my rellies. My grandma whom was in the hospital because of all sortsa stuff including a stroke was home for the holidays.
On Top of all that we celebrated her birthday and mine which linger around Christmas. Before Christmas though my mom threw me a little get together with my friends neighbors and co workers. Then my best friend and I the next day went trail riding XD
It was so much fun! Second time riding in a western saddle... still hate it>< English saddles are soooo much more comfortable. Who ever said otherwise was numb from the hips down.
So this being my friends first time ever riding I was understandably worried. But they paired her up with a good well rounded beginners horse. He really was a great horse! BUT SLOW AS HELL.
I didnt want her to be left behind so I pulled up the rear. It pissed my horse off lol but oh well. Her horse was like that oblivious old person who goes like 10 miles under the speed limit.
Eventually we got so impatient with her horse we were telling her to kick and to use the riding crop that I hadn't noticed was attached to the saddle. lol Now I understand why. But yeah my friend didnt really seem to understand the effort needed to be put into making a horse go. Eventually I gave up on telling her to kick harder lol.
So yeah ! After that we went to a Bob's Furniture store to sit on some couches because my friend and I are finally moving into a house !! XD so exciting! If all the paperwork gets drawn up on time ... like it was supposed be this past friday. Then on monday we should be set and by 4:00pm the keys will be in our hands and the house shall be ours!
Then all the work starts! Up goes all of the carpet and in the trash. Down goes new carpet and hardwood. Then we are putting down new tile in the bathrooms, scrapping off the hideous back splash in the kitchen. Then paint, paint, paint, and paint some more. As well as scrubbing with every inch of the house with cleaning products!
We plan to have a Drunken new years cleaning party. XD Hellz yeah. Im legit super excited about it.
But yeah ! So their is that going on and then their is drama at work because of the holidays and the snow. Shifts have been all wonky! Almost ended up having to stay overnight >< never wish to do that.
Then there are my distractions at home which come in the form of a brand new PS3 so now I dont have to share and the entire collection of Assassins Creed Games XD As well as Books ! and new amazing art supplies ! Sakura water colors XD Hellz yeah and Humungor Watercolor paper XD.
So as you can see Ive been a busy bee and now with this house business Im going to find myself even more busy.

Walmart Surprise And Sad News
Posted 13 years agoI am always surprised about the things I see at Walmart; especially when it gets late out.
After work today I ran down to the local walmart to go pick up some cat food and a few other bits a bobs.
When I got into line to pay for my stuff someone got into the line right beside mine I had to do a double take.
There was a furr! A blatantly obvious furr. Now obviously being part of the furr community I accept our communities quirks and wide diversity. But I was shocked as hell. Hagerstown MD is well, its just... Well to put it into perspective Ive seen KKK handing out pamphlets on street corners. Its drug and crime rate could give Baltimore a run for its money. And its not a uncommon site to see someone strolling down main street in dirty pajamas during the middle of the day.
Okay maybe Im being a bit harsh. Hagerstown... while everything I said is true. Its not all that bad.Just dont live in the downtown area. Its all basically condensed to that small area. Outside of the immediate area its gorgeous! Rich with history, wildlife, outdoor activities, and just stuff.
Anyway So this guy!
He was decked out with his ears, his tail, whiskers!, and fake black nails which were way to long to be anything but a pain in the ass.
I couldnt believe it at first! I was so shocked to actually see one of our own. I have never seen one in my area before. At least ones that I could tell from a glance.
But the whole time he was there I was battling within myself to actually say something to him. On one hand I know its always awesome to meet someone who gets it. Who knows what this is all about. You rarely run into a stranger at walmart who knows the situation. On the other hand Im shy and wasnt sure if he wanted me to draw any more attention to himself. He looked nervous lol. Of which I dont blame him! He showed some major ballz this being Hagerstown and all. Not the most culturally diverse place.
In the end I chickened out. Which i regret now. I could have made a new friend.
Oh well perhaps I will run into said furr again and this time I wont wuss out.

Now on a sad note T^T
The place my friend boards her horse and where she and I go horseback riding.
Today one of there horses died. It was really tragic. While I wasn't there my friend was and was the one that found the horse dead in the field. While I wont go into detail about everything it was a colic related problem that was what did him in, in the end.
It really puts in perspective that despite there size and strength they are really fragile. When they get in a bad state its not like a dog and rushing them to the local vets. They are just so big that what you can do for them can be limited at times.

Something Ive Been Wondering
Posted 13 years agoSo Ive been pondering something since I posted those "Fall Back" Horse pics and Ive pondered this before.
Does they way I draw horses seem Cartoonie?
I have never thought of my horses cartoonie... but yet I know they don't look entirely realistic either.
Now I have been drawing horses since the beginning of elementary school and I have never in all those years been influenced by how others drew horses or tried to replicate there styles. It was a gradual knowledge of the horse anatomy and what I found attractive.
So that makes me wonder if the way I draw horses is a style particularly unique to me or has anyone seen someone draw horses similar to the way I do?
It would be cool to see a comparison of a artist who had a similar style so I know what people see when they look at my art.

Now I know this is FA and I know its full of every dirty and XXX image you could imagine. Its always been part of FA.
But maybe because Ive been away for so long or something. But all of a sudden I noticed a freakishly large amount of general cock.
When I say that I mean like taking a regular head to toe commission of someones character not doing anything just standing there minding his own business. Its not sexual in any manor but the cock just tends to be there. Sometimes hanging out all limp like outta the sheath or at attention.
Again I know its the FA way. But it was like every picture... I just had a "Good lord" moment.

Back From The Dead

I finally got my ass back in the Art saddle and dragged myself back. It was long over due and I wish I had done it sooner!
Not having any internet for a while didn't help either lol. We shall see how long it last.

Bwah! I have myself a new job working with the ARC. A organization dealing with the care of people of all ages with Mental Disabilities. Its a challenge for sure but I can say this; I am never bored.
Also, my best friend of nearly 15 years are getting a place together XD GAH SO EXCITED. I cant wait to decorate LOL. But all of these unexpected fees seem to be popping out of nowhere causing aggravation to rain down on our parade. Yeah we were all " Hellz yeah! Lets go buy a house! Just get a loan and slap some money down on a house bitches!".... We are such newbs lol
During the summer at said new job! I found a kitten! >< I already have a ton of cats but how can you say no to a kitten that runs and jumps into your arms... quite literally. So yeah. Now I am the proud owner of a new male cat I names Ezio. Yes I totally names him after the guy in Assassins Creed Brotherhood. I'll have to post some pics up of him later.
On a Artistic note I have been getting drawn into the world of sculpture! So far Its only been feral type animals... of a horse like nature lol. Im absolutely loving it. Oh also I have been really loving Doodle collabs. Drawing something mundane and incomplete then letting other people play off it and build something different. Such great fun!
Further more I am lucky enough to live but 30 minuets away from a store that Sells Windstone Dragons! I have finally acquired one of my own.Its from the Gargoyle edition! I have named him Dimah. In honor of my Russian background! I'll have to post pics.

P.S.: Who thinks it would be interesting to see a comic done about Dora and her gang all grown up in high school? I have been stuck on this story about them forever and the urge to do it is just growing. It involves all sorts of shenanigans. Gangs, drugs, prostitution... all sorts of wrong. For as good as Dora is meant to be for children that's how much my story flips it upside down lol.
P.P.S: Holy Crap on a Stick! Who has been watching "The Walking Dead!?" Gah!! Sunday cannot get here sooner!

She has been without Electricity for over a week now! I feel just horrible! Its been in the high 80's and 90's all week with little relief even at night.
She was sure she would have power on by tomorrow but then a unexpected blow has hit her. A payment went through that wasn't supposed to and its pulled them out from under there feet. Now they have no money and no idea when they can afford to get power back or feed themselves!
I am also extremely worried about her two cats being in that heat.

Music Makes You Crazy !
Posted 14 years agoYou ever listen to a song and for some reason it just moved you so much that you HAD to draw a picture for it. A urge.. a great mighty urge just consumes you and drives you to do this.
I have been struck by this urge!
I was at the gym working out, when a song I had totally forgotten that I dled sprung up on my playlist. Now this is odd for me because it was a Florence and the Machine song, and I absolutely Love her ... love her music, love her creative and fun lyrics!
So for me to have never heard this song was mind blowing.
But never would I have thought that it would impact me so deeply. I instantly fell in love and images just kept swimming around in my head. Two in particular... and I just had to get it out on paper.. or rather on my computer!
All day long while at work I was so ancey to get home and start, its all I could think about, all I wanted.I pretty much dropped everything! I was working on art wise and started this. I had to. Every time I listen to it, no matter how many times I listen to it. It just strengthens that desire .. I dont think I will ever get sick of this song.
My Favorite Snippet of Lyrics in the Whole thing is when she says. "Take A Deep Breath, Suck The Water In My Chest!"
I think ..... I want to take her whole album .. and for each song draw a picture for it!
