Fixed Animation Uploads
General | Posted 8 years agoMy prior host for animations went poof (or pomf, I guess), so I've reuploaded them and fixed all the players that I could find. I'd like it if I could just upload the videos directly, like on IB, instead of having to create Flash players for each one that work in increasingly fewer browsers and mobile platforms, but waiting for FA to fix or add features is not a viable plan. Ever.
Here's a list of the fixed animations:
At Club FNAF...
Midna Papps (Furry Bits)
Midna Papps (Human Bits)
Polly Amory (Full Animation)
Polly Amory (Loop Version)
Krystal's Big Orgy (April Fools 2016)
I also uploaded an unfinished animation that was previously Patreon-only:
Krystal's Unfortunate Sneeze
Let me know if I missed any. I also scrubbed some submissions of the extra Patreon tagging and linking.

Rubbish Shirts!
General | Posted 8 years agoI've made a bunch of Rubbish Shirts! Some of them do the words thing of funny!
There's a 30% off sale on everything for the next 24 hours! Notebooks, stickers, and cell phone cases are also available and on discount!
Sale's over, but the prices on TeePublic are still pretty good!

Catching Up...
General | Posted 8 years agoI freely admit "I'm alive" 5 months ago doesn't really clarify much. Nobody likes reading long self-indulgent Journal entries, so here's a brief summary of what's gone on.
-I started a new job. Based on a recommendation by a friend, I started a new career. Beforehand I had primarily done odd short-term projects, particularly with family. This was kind of a big adjustment for me, but I did pretty well.
-I moved in with my girlfriend. We'd been dating for a few years now, but staying at her place meant an hour less driving every day, and it quickly became permanent. We'd obviously spent plenty of time together before, so we had some idea of what to expect. I'm still not set up properly to do long periods of PC work (contributing to a decrease in animation and other content), but it'll get there.
-I've been adjusting to some relationship changes. This isn't something I'm going into publicly. Nothing bad, just different.
-I've lost two cars. Neither was my fault; three separate outside events attacked two different cars. I'm borrowing a family member's old car at the moment, but I'll have less need for it shortly, because…
-I've crashed a bit. Not in the car, but emotionally. It started hitting me hard about a month ago, and that job that I was excited to do my best at? I suddenly couldn't stand it. After being fine for months, I was suddenly getting burned out every single day, like my battery refused to charge. The tasks themselves got easier, yet I stayed tense all day long, really dreading the next customer interaction. Started having nightmares on an almost daily basis. I don't like going into prior years too much here, but during my 20's I struggled with some similar issues, and I didn't have insurance or anything to deal with it. This time, I've gone to the doctor, started on some medication, and my supervisor recommended I go on leave. I followed instructions and did so. Now it's looking like the leave may not clear, which I think might result in termination. And even if it doesn't, the medication hasn't helped enough to where I feel comfortable going back.
I've been fighting a lot with my feelings over this. I hate that it's gotten to this point. It was a very good job for a lot of reasons, and I feel like if I was just slightly better adjusted, things would've been good for me. Even if I could go back, I don't think I could just "tough through it" until I got better, because if I could, there wouldn't be a problem in the first place. I was "this" close to providing real stability to my GF's life, not to mention being a functional, normal person in society. I really despise that I've screwed this up.
I have a bit of a buffer, and I don't think diving head-first back into the job market is the smartest idea at the second. I'll probably be focusing on some SFM content, maybe some game development. Nothing complete will be paywalled behind my Patreon anymore, but supporting me there does help out a lot, so if you do dig my stuff, that is appreciated. Or, you can just buy me a coffee. I might even be fiddling with Perler Beads a bit. I know they're completely passé by this point, but I've always liked them, and I've amassed a small assortment due to some recent sales. I have a couple of ideas for stupid things to make with them.
That about sums it up. I know nobody reads journals this long; I hardly keep track of journals at this point myself. But I appreciate you sticking around, even if you just want to watch.

I'm alive
General | Posted 9 years agoQuick update to let you know I'm still around. I haven't had a lot of creative time lately, so the page is a bit barren. In part that's due to some life changes, including starting a new job, and preparing to move in with my SO. It's been... a big shift for me, and it's not even close to done. I'm really sorry I'm not able to make more for you all.
Patreon Update: Changing Gears
General | Posted 9 years agoThe Patreon is going through some big changes. It's probably best you read it there, if interested:
https://www.patreon.com/posts/6630588
The profile should be updated completely by Monday night. The short summary is that I'm moving it away from parody animations, and more toward my ultimate goal, furry game development.
If you have any questions, post them here or on the Patreon posting.

Poser Archive reminder, and Animations links up
General | Posted 9 years agoI've mostly finished added Alt download links to my Poser Archive post, which you can read here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20776298/
Animations add-on and the Full pack are now up too. I've gotten in touch with my friend, who was very kind to provide hosting. I also found a host that would handle the size of the pack if I took out the extra Animation Frames, so those will go up separately. (They were always kind of meant to, anyway.)
This was a ton of work, way more than you'd think, draining on a number of levels, so if you appreciate this at all, I'd really love your Favs and your feedback. I know some of the things in that pack are pretty dated for today's standards, but I hope there's other people like me out there who'll dig it for the preservation aspect.

Last few hours to get credited in the Krystal Cam Archive!
General | Posted 9 years agoMore info here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20430073/
Straight to Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/setsune
This will be my primary Poser archive going forward, so if you want to be credited in the pack that'll probably be around for a very long time, sign up tonight! (I wish I had "Charge Upfront" so you could sign up whenever in the next few days, but it's still not on my account, presumably because I have such few Patrons.)
The example image is a little bland, but you'll be getting more than just a directory dump of images. I'm hoping to fluff this up into a nicer package, like an Art CD with character to it.

This month's Patreon treat...
General | Posted 9 years agoIt's not been a great time for being creative, so I won't have a special animation ready to go. But instead I'm finishing the touches on an archive of all my prior Poser work, from 2007-current. Everything is reconverted from the original renders into lossless PNGs (instead of the lossy JPGs many were originally posted as), with extras including transparent versions, test works, alternate takes, and so on. This also includes the original animation frames for many of my prior loops!
I'll be posting a preview before the month is over, but if you want to receive it early before it goes public, and get thanked in the Credits, please sign up at my Patreon:
http://patreon.com/setsune
I probably wouldn't be throwing together this pack of classics without it.

HTML Gallery Generator?
General | Posted 9 years agoLooking for a little help, I'm trying to find something that can generate HTML galleries automatically based on a directory of pics. It would be really good if it had a way to insert descriptions too, but I can theoretically plunk those in after they're generated.
Best I've found so far is: http://sigal.saimon.org/en/latest/
Any other recommendations?

Last day for May Patreon batch!
General | Posted 9 years agoBecause my account doesn't yet have the "charge upfront" feature enabled, I have to stick to the list of patrons that have payments clear. I'll also be crediting patrons on the latest animation, those that wish it.
To sign up for it, have a valid payment method for adult Patreons (PayPal is still a little iffy), and sign up for the $4 tier or above here:

Where to Find Me
General | Posted 9 years agoI have a bad feeling about FA coming back up so soon. I think this is temporary, to put it bluntly.
So! Let's talk about where to find me elsewhere, because that might be a concern.
Truthfully, I like how InkBunny functions best, although I can respect some people being very uncomfortable with some of the content on that site (it's certainly not my bag), but as long as it's fantasy, I ignore it. Tags are also emphasized there, and are very useful for blocking if that's any help.
I have two (well, three) separate Tumblrs, A "Mostly Everything" Tumblr (with a SFW-only version), which also includes some GameDev and other miscellaneous projects, a Tumblr dedicated to my Source FilmMaker renders. And if for some reason you want to, I also have a personal retweet whatever Tumblr, but that's just for the occasional quirky thing.
I have a DeviantArt, but frankly I've been making more explicit content recently, so it's not really DA friendly.
I haven't really used Weasyl in the past, there are some design things about it I don't like, but I can look into it if there's enough interested. Reply if you want to see me post more to Weasyl, assuming their TOS doesn't forbid my type of work. I didn't get much of a reception at FurryNetwork, but that was a while back, and I know more people have moved there.
And finally, I have a website, but honestly there's a whole lot of nothing publicly available on it right now. I should probably change that.
Oh, and course there's Patreon, but I'd guess you're sick of hearing of that by now.
I have contact info on my profile for a few other sites, but most of them aren't really for posting content in that way. Last few times on SoFurry put me off using it, unfortunately.
To be honest, there's a lot of people who've rightly said "people talk about moving off FA, but don't actually do it". I'd like to move off, but it's hard to find a site that similarly allows all the content I like to make. I'm also approaching 1,500 watchers here, that's really hard to give up; I don't know if I could get that far again on another site. I really would appreciate it if you watched me on some of the other sites, so I know I'm not losing everybody if I limit my FA posting.

May Patreon Update
General | Posted 9 years agoPatreon Changes
General | Posted 9 years agoI'll be posting a summary of the poll results soon, but the short of it is, due to so many people signing up with faulty payment information (or signing up, downloading, and dropping), I've considered switching to what a lot of other Patreons do until the service figures out how to fix things, which is to send out the pics via private links, only to the Patrons who've already cleared payment at the turn of the month.
To be even shorter, it basically means that I'll be posting teasers each month, and once the month rolls over, I'll message you a link to the full version.
I was scared this would freak people out, but most seemed to be OK with it. I think there's an understanding that Patreon is a little busted in its current implementation, and this is a way of dealing with that. I wish I didn't have to do it, but if you're already signed up, you shouldn't see a change, and you should qualify for next month's content drop. I'll still be posting many of the WIP pics too, as I have been.

Redistribution Rules
General | Posted 9 years agoThis is something I probably should've written down here much sooner. You may have been wondering if it's ok to repost my stuff. Honestly? Yes! I love seeing it pop up, for the most part. 2D, 3D, stills, animations, it's pretty much all ok to redistribute. There's just a few short rules.
Obviously, please don't cut off signatures if they're on there (which most of my pictures lack), and don't post it to websites that aren't set up for adult content, or primarily just mock it. The people that do that sort of thing don't care about redistribution rules, though, and even get off on being contrary to them, so that's really pointless for me to say. Similarly, please don't publicly post Patreon-specific stuff before I have. It all becomes public anyway, eventually, but the teasers seem to be the best way of driving traffic toward it. And it's kind of a necessary evil right now. Again, the people that do that don't care if I shake my finger at them, but here it is officially.
Rule 34 sites, Tumblrs, etc. are a-ok; it's really appreciated if you link back to me on FA or IB, but it's not required. The only one I'm iffy about is e621, as I've dealt with some negative reactions there personally before. Comments weren't even constructive, just negative. Left a bad impression. Yes, my fragile ego, I know. I think if it's an already popular pic, maybe it's fine there. But definitely none of the scraps or ones with weird quirks to them.
Last thing is don't do edits to the pictures, unless it's to convert it from one format to another and you know what you're doing. If you want to convert some of my MP4s to WebMs (which I've had some trouble with), and you know how to actually make decent WebMs, that's great. A GIF set is probably OK, so long as you pronounce it with a Hard G. But I don't want to see my nice PNGs turned into crappy artifact-filled JPGs because you think resizing and saving it in Paint is "good enough".
That's basically the highlights, isn't it? If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

No promises...
General | Posted 9 years ago...but I'm going to try to have an Easter-themed render done for tonight. :)
It might be Patreon-first, but there'll be a teaser here at least.
If it doesn't make it up tonight, I'll still have it up tomorrow. We're trying to help out a friend, so my time is shorter today than I'd hoped.

Poll Reminder!
General | Posted 10 years agoHey there! Initial response to the poll has been great! I'm looking for just a few more responses, then I'll be able to get a clearer sense of what to do.
https://setsune.typeform.com/to/eLawFJ
It takes about 6 minutes on average to complete, and there's a bouncy Tailsko at the end as thanks!
I'm a little sad I'm not able to do a St. Patrick's Day piece this year, as it's one of my favorite holidays (at least when it comes to themed pics). But I'm taking an opportunity to sort and cut down on my... ridiculous amount of stuff (too many shinies, is such a thing possible?) I've collected over the years. Some of it to sell, some of it to donate, some to pack away in more permanent storage. I actually have a ton of furry art (some original, some prints, some comics) by many talented creators that I'll be posting to Furbuy in the near future. Either way, though, I'll be getting back to renders this weekend, I won't be skipping the month, I do have a responsibility to my Patreon patrons.

Please Answer Poll about SFM, Patreon and More!
General | Posted 10 years agohttps://setsune.typeform.com/to/eLawFJ
If you would help me out by answering this form, I'd really appreciate it. It's about 10 minutes max, asking some questions about the SFM renders so far, and your thoughts about the Patreon. You do not need to be a Patron to answer it; in fact, I definitely want to hear from you if you haven't signed up. There's a bouncy Tailsko at the end as a reward! (Model courtesy of Annonguy, as before.) Thank you so much!

FNAF Teaser Updated, November Pony Rewards Going Up
General | Posted 10 years agoI updated the FNAF teaser, as I wasn't really happy with the quality of the still I picked, and motion blur got in the way, so I rendered a separate poster. I plan to have an animated teaser later (censored, unfortunately).
I could really use some feedback on the Patreon, actually. I need to figure out what I'm doing right with it, and what I'm doing wrong. What kind of content would you like to see (I know I've been lacking in actual hardcore sex, I intend to fix that), what series or characters, which teasers work and which ones annoy the crap out of you, are the prices too high, etc. I really want to get this right, and not alienate what audience I have. Please feel free to post your comments here.
The November Patreon Reward, the Poolside Princesses/Secret Princess Resort set, is going up over the next few days. I had to break it up into separate postings because some of it is mature, and some of it's adult.

Birthday!
General | Posted 10 years agoTomorrow is my birthday! I'll be... urgh... 35.
If you feel like doing something, well, you're awesome for that. I'm a big art whore, it shouldn't be hard to figure out what I like from my favs. (Here's some refs too if that will help you.)
I feel weird posting this, because it sort of feels like begging. But if I don't say something, no one will know.

2016: The Twenty-Sixteenening!
General | Posted 10 years agoMight as well say it early, Happy New Year! It's been a challenging year, but it's not been all downsides, thankfully.
I know some people were worried about me opening up a Patreon would stop all free posting, and I hope those fears have been belayed, as I've been more active with renders these last few months than I have the past few years. The number one thing I need is feedback; what people like, what they want to see, what they're annoyed by. I will have to keep posting public teasers to content on Patreon, because that's the best way to drive unaware people to it. But otherwise, I really enjoy kudos, suggestions, recommendations, anything of that nature. Just as long as it's useful, and not "I hate this series so I hate this" or "downvoting makes my dick hard."
I hope to keep improving, and be worth your time and enjoyment. Here's to 2016!

Patreon Update!
General | Posted 10 years agoIt's been a great start so far! It's already at 7 backers, and assuming all the charges go through, it's already beaten the first goal! People can pull out, I expect that, so I'm keeping my expectations in check. I know I had to end my pledges to a few creators after backing them these last few months, and I'll probably have to cut it down further next year. So I really do appreciate those that can back and choose to do so, but it is always your choice.
A clarification on how the tiers work:
$6 is primarily reserved for the debut of final versions of big projects. Time-consuming renders, animations, interactive works, the final products with all the trimmings. They also get high priority on making requests each month.
$1 (included in $6) get to see a lot of the WIP process. Not the final project immediately, but they can see where it's going, and maybe some backers on a budget can decide more easily if they want to spend the added funds that month. I'm also debating about moving big projects from $6 -> $1 after they've been up for a little while.
There's an "Every pledge" tier I mark things for sometimes, but I don't think you can pledge below $1. Sometimes I post stuff for non-pledgers to see on Patreon so they can get a feel for the content on my account, instead of only a bunch of "Patrons Only" boxes.
Eventually everything will be available for free, unwatermarked. I don't intend for anything to stay locked up on Patreon forever. And of course, I'll still be posting things to FA and IB simultaneously at times. Because people here are awesome and have followed me through some very unproductive and mopey times.
That being said, and if you'll pardon one last end-of-month advert, if you would like to back my future efforts, this is totally a great link for doing just that:

P.S. My Fursuit auction closes in one day, and I'd love for it to sell and me not have to post about it any more just as much as you want to stop seeing posts about it.

Patreon is Open!

If you haven't seen my latest submission, I've launched my Patreon for realsies. I'm thrilled to have two supporters already!
Like with other good Patreons, exclusive stuff will not remain exclusive forever. (Otherwise that's just begging for it to be reposted.) Some of it will show up immediately here with a small watermark, others will be added here after it's been on the Patreon for a suitable amount of time. And I will still post things directly here, just less often.
I don't like asking for support, so I really do appreciate your understanding.

No Halloween This Time
General | Posted 10 years agoI'm sorry, but no Halloween surprise this year. October became very focused around a relative's health, and some other family matters that needed attention.
On the plus side, I've been assisting with someone else's animation project, you should see the results of that soon.

I put the things in the folders!
General | Posted 10 years agoIt's an improvement.
