Posted 13 years agoNintendo esp... sure it's not worse one of three (Microsoft is far, far worse and Nintendo did it bit better than Sony) but I ended up disappointed. :/
At least Pikmin 3 looks great, and I'm looking forward to Rayman Legends. Luigi's Mansion 2 & Paper Mario 3DS also looks fantastic.
But REALLY? Another two New Super Mario Bros? The last two games lack character/love, sorry but they aren't fun to play at all while Super Mario World remains one of best games I've played, has more colours for more than ten years old game. Still, Wii U one does look pretty esp backgrounds seem more better, but I'll not get it at launch UNLESS it has online co-op play.
I'd love to see another Mario game that's same as Super Mario 64/Sunshine to be honest, I loved these. But I do have 3D Land which I still need to play through, which is great game.
I'm hoping Thursday one will be full of information, more so for Animal Crossing 3DS.

Posted 13 years agoThe problem is I don't know who to commission. It probably didn't help that I'm kind of picky, but also too nice at same time! I'd feel bad if I pick one but not rest xD (As in, ask for one on forum, then you have like 5-6 people offering and then... well, you know what happens next. Thankfully no drama, but the feeling of bad is always there. lol)
I just fancy having full bodyshot of my dragon fursona (with Blastoise <3), but with hair that matches...well, what I have at the moment but have Bowser-style of eyebrows. Someone made my fursona's hair look like Bowser, but that's my fault when explaining what I want my fursona to be xD

Posted 13 years agoHaving started and finished Super Metroid for first time, I loved it so much and has made me consider giving whole series another go, as I do enjoy them but would just get annoyed if I got stuck.
Metroid Prime Trilogy is what I want most but it's £30, including P+P...and if I didn't snap it up; I might have to get more expensive copy :(

Posted 13 years agoIt's pretty much why I'm not online - mainly because I don't want ANYTHING to be spoiled; call me weird but it's like looking forward to Harry Potter 7th book but getting spoiled anyway - I nearly got spoiled on that, didn't you know? Ever since if it's from series I really enjoy I won't be online much apart from Steam/MSN - I just won't be online.
Annoying, but not bad - I got FFXIII-2 ending spoiled; was pretty 'argh' moment...but Im not taking chances with Mass Effect 3 :P
As of what I think, it's pretty good but I do admit it feels bit rushed. Still, I love it very much so.

Posted 13 years ago...as it's on deal. Wi-fi only, Lumines game for £15 and free 8gb memory stick for measly £236.85. Since I'll have much more money than that by next week I figured why not.

Haven't been really drawing, because I've been busy playing Persona 3 FES, Tales of the Abyss (more so on that one) and Counter Strike Source. I'm also thinking of doing vlogs again, although I'm focusing on Fraps/Counter Strike Source games being recorded more.
Other than that, not much has happened in my life really... I must say I've been rather lonely over last few weeks, but it'll soon to change by end of this month (hopefully) - just everyone is busy with life, wish I say it's same here but all I've done is jobhunting :/

Persona 3: FES Floor 36 Boss
Posted 13 years agoNow I remembered why I hate this game sometimes. This boss is quite early in game, yet it has no problems wiping out my fucking party.
Deals 100+ dmg with fucking Wind-All spells, has fucking Posion-All, and my AI are so retard that Healing/Support just means heal each other with Dia (low lv healing) which only heals 55-60dmg that they could just Dis-Poison each other, but no. "Dur dur I'll just keep healing you"
And it has fucking high def as well no weakness I can think of, what's worse that one of my party members has weakness to wind, so it adds to ragebuilding.
Gonna take break. Fucking Persona games.

First faceview of dragon-man fursona I'm really happy with, but obviously there is still more room for improvement. Horns are small, shoulders are uggh, and I'm not so sure with eyebrows. But overall I like it, which is good enough~

Posted 13 years agoSo I've been working on front view for my fursona, I swear to god once I'm happy with front view I will be moving to another character for bit. Chris, Mandy or Andy would be happy to be drawn again once in while, I'm sure.
But anyway... I need your help! I'm trying to figure what teeth/nose shape I should be using for my character, that and any other tips you might want to share when drawing dragon muzzles from front view.

Posted 13 years agoSo, it's tenth day of 2012 already (nearly 3am here)... I thought I'd update my journal basically saying that I've been playing Mario Kart 7, Counter Strike Source and currently biggest timesinker, Star Wars The Old Republic. I finally changed my fursona from Buffadog to Dragon (although I'm keeping Buffadog fursona too - just like I have with Dogman) and... I've been practicing drawing.

I really like to draw, but I also want to get better. So I've started rule of at least draw every day if possible. At the moment I'm working on:
Dragon muzzle - I want to draw it, break away from what I used to draw buffalo muzzles. Side-view is easier...front view not so much
Anatomy
Eyes/eyebrows. I always skipped eyebrows but I want to change that. The problem is I want to keep it looking friendly, normal - most ones I've done just looks bit over the top.
There's other areas of course but top three are main focus; I'll also try to remember draw my characters from Seven Days crew; I need break from drawing my fursona after all! I would ask for requests but at the moment I'm not comfortable taking few at once, I want to take my time drawing. But there might be expections~
Also: I wonder how many of people who've +Watched me still views my journals and submissions... either way, I wanted to say I'm sorry I haven't been on FurAffinity much. While I can't promise that I'll be on it often, I can at least say I'll be trying to get on at least once a week as I actually miss looking at artwork, and I would like to re-form friendship with people I've made friends on here if possible - if not, still making new friends out of furry community would be nice.

Posted 13 years agoI was at mate's house for New Years Eve celebration. Only four others turned up then one had to leave sooner, but it was better than last year as it was actually more relaxed. Getting to know my best mate's girlfriend, catching up with mate I haven't seen in while and usual banter with other mates and it was all great. Stayed up till 8AM doing tame strip card game. We didn't realise it was that late until we saw clock :P
But I guess I've grown to like quiet, or rather just with friends than bunch of people I don't know whenever we want to celebrate NYE.
Enough about that, I wish everyone have great year - I hope I'll be back in job; move out of Dalmellington (I want to live in Kilmarnock); be able to drive (got provisional licence so I can learn now) and I also hope to be more socialable this year.
Oh yeah. and try drawing often as well :)

Posted 13 years agoAs of lately I've been playing Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 on 3DS and also Star Wars The Old Republic on PC.
Super Mario 3D Land is easily my favourite 2D Mario game. I don't get on 2D Mario well as 3D Mario games (bar Sunshine which I preferred Super Mario World & SMB3 to that) but this has blown that away and I'm really loving it. Taking my time with it so far.
Mario Kart 7 is basically Mario Kart DS, with weaker tracks - but still good enough to race in, I'd say it's better than Wii version easily. Still on 6/8 cups done with 3 stars @ 50cc, will go ahead and attempt these two then move onto 100cc before I can think about racing online.
Star Wars The Old Republic is going to be MMO to replace Star Wars Galaxies for me. So far I'm really having fun with doing... quests. Quests are actually quests, with dialogue and everything. It can be played like next sequel to Knights of The Old Republic if you want it to be that way, which is why it's amazing. Combat's pretty great, too.
Also: I've still working on this drawing I've like, started few days ago, every now and then I'd open up, see if I can improve some areas of it, and If I'm not happy just delete that part off and re-do many times as I like. Having layers really helps (using Paint.NET) so will be good practice for tablet. And anatomy, as well. So far what I've done is body, arm, hand, legs... which I'm happy with. Sure, they need alot more work still, but I can say I'm happy with them so I'm going to move on.
Just want to work on face, tail and... if I can be bothered, feet. I'm not sure if I can get it finished by next week, but I'm going to take it easy and just take this chance as to learn how to make character I am happy with. No more rush attempts just so I can see it "finished". I'll rather do "projects" if you can call that - surprisingly, it's actually more fun and rewarding. Of course, I do fancy quick doodle, which I just open new window in Paint.NET or create new layer so I can just doodle away for shit and giggles.
So yeah, just normal life of gaming and drawing. Will pass time of stressful of jobseeking that I'm going to do seriously next year.

Posted 13 years agoSeriously how the fuck are they hard to draw lol. Even hands aren't that hard as them (obviously they are STILL hard, just I can get away with half-effort one and it'd look nice enough wereabouts feet looks really, really stupid :x)
And yeah, that means I'm doodle-practicing again. Mainly for enjoyment but - may as well throw this out - I've been working on new character, or rather change of my fursona again. It's been like that for while since I've played Elder Scrolls/other fantasy games, but I'm not sure what I want it to be. As long as I'm having fun I'll try different things to see which ones I like.
Obviously, like Hedgehog & Dog-man fursonas I've had, I won't ditch Buffadog fursona completely. I love minotaurs & dogs too much to bin Buffadog fursona completely :wub:
And yeah, that means I'm doodle-practicing again. Mainly for enjoyment but - may as well throw this out - I've been working on new character, or rather change of my fursona again. It's been like that for while since I've played Elder Scrolls/other fantasy games, but I'm not sure what I want it to be. As long as I'm having fun I'll try different things to see which ones I like.
Obviously, like Hedgehog & Dog-man fursonas I've had, I won't ditch Buffadog fursona completely. I love minotaurs & dogs too much to bin Buffadog fursona completely :wub:

Posted 14 years ago...dating-sims. Most of time I think they're tacky, crap, and just turns into porn. Even if its not XXX rated (i.e. tame) most of time it's just pretty boring i.e. "lol i love you virtual character" but I have no proplems with people liking them, because if they're having fun then awesome, something to pass time with! (Although it's not good idea to let them take over your life...)
But then few days I tried Morenatsu out of curiously. It's gay furry visual novel, and I didn't expect I'd like it at all as I got bored of MLM after like half hour. I do however wanted to try that path with Tatsuki, the dragon guy in it.
Oh my god. It's actually brilliant. Never expected to laugh so much, nice references (Tom&Jerry even gets mentioned in it!) and generally it's well done. Sure, there's alot of fan service (and by alot I mean LOT) but for some reason it doesn't bother me as I actually had good laugh; and it's actually very good story for dating-sim game. I never expect this to be good, although i think it's down to writer for each character. I've tried another and found it pretty boring overall, but Tatsuki is awesome.
Anyone who's done story for Tatsuki as well creators who did this game, you are fucking brilliant. Tatsuki is so likeable character, don't have to hear sex conversions over and over again and in generally it's just cute game. It's just shame the developers won't release it in other areas, I'd glad to give them support.
I didn't even see it as fap-material, I was just absorbed into dialogue. TBH even CGI sex scenes could not be in and I'd still love it same.
Sorry that I've posted rather odd journal on somewhere I haven't been active for while, but I don't have anywhere else to post this. Anyone who has doubtful thought but want to try it out, at least give it try (but I'd say wait until more characters has been released, only two of four characters are potentially good. I'm not keen on Shun because he's "shota" character so I can't comment on him sadly - and the less said about that raccoon dog, the better.)
Now time to play Witcher and cringle at sex cards I got when bonking each woman, lol. Experience gained from doing nothing but see shit sex scene though = win tbh

Posted 14 years agoThe Witcher on PC is best RPG I've played, and I'm only on Chapter 2. It really is very good RPG. I'm glad I finally got chance to play it <3
And also, I found my tablet which I've forgotten that I've owned for while... mint. Works too, although no space for it, and I have no desires to put up any of my doodles up on FA either :lol: Still, once I've sort things out I may as well go ahead and doodle more on PC; and see if I can at least put in few practice sessions. Pft, I'll probably just game instead.
But yeah, this might be good time to practice on new character I've been meaning to draw... I want to remain toony but better looking as well. I'm not going to rush though because if I do I'd probably chuck tablet in unused box again lol

End of 2011 update

Thought I'd drop by and say hi to folks - whoever is still following me, I guess. I've pretty much given up on drawing, mainly because I'd rather to do other things such as playing videogames, hanging out with friends... and urgh, looking for job. Yeah, 7+ months or so and I still haven't gotten myself another job. At least I'm keeping at it and at same time I'm seeing unemployment life as bonus thing i.e. tons of free time.
As of videogames, my laptop PC pretty much died... but I got myself decent PC desktop gaming, it's so awesome. Geforce GFX 560; 4GB RAM and 4xcpu at 3.3GHZ~ - Loads up everything so quick. Still gaming on 3DS/DS, GBA/GB, PS1/2/3 and Gamecube, Wii and 360 of course -but I've been doing PC game more and more this year.
Enough about that though, I just wanted to say when my life isn't exciting at the moment; I have no real complaints so far and I'm just hopeful that 2012 will be better year, no worries if it isn't though, still got plentiful of life in me.
Oh yeah, I should update what sites I've been using. It's getting less and less, but you can find me at: Facebook, Steam, GRcade and... thats it. I also use MSN still, but I'd rather use Steam or Facebook to talk to people. Thank god my MSN has FB chat built-in, though. Same username obviously. (on FB tho, just search for Steve Fisher and we're all good - I have to actually know you before adding you, obviously. In that case just use Steam! I generally accept ANY people there)
That's all I can think of at the moment... apart from I've pretty much not fussed about furry community. It's just something to have my fursona come to life but other than that I just like art (and porn but I'm bored of porn as well). I'd rather talk to people about other stuff outside of furry fandom - it's hardly part of my life. It's shame, but I expected this since late 2009 if I have to be honest.
Enough about downers though - How are you all? Life treating you good, and anything I may have missed?
