I just created my AOL Instant Messenger account (mostly because of the issues with MSN 2011) and the contact list needs some filling. Recently I have added a lot of folks from FA on my contact lists, yet I still wanna get to known with more fellow fur fans. Just keep in mind I'm not a big fan of RP'ing. I just wanna talk, and that's how I would like to keep it going. Nothing beats the nice conversations of... well, anything exciting. Considering how much I love video games and food, those are my favorite subjects. ^.=.^

Today, I bought a shirt which was XXL size... and I couldn't fit in it. Even though all the rest of my clothes fits well and they are the same size. This sort of pisses me off, but at least it was a button shirt. So I can use it as a vest if nothing else.

Also, after one year without touching the weight scale, I checked how much I weight IRL. Noticing how I usually don't even try to eat in a healthy way or do any kind of physical exercises (and I think the last year was "the most unhealthy" year in my history), I still have managed to lose 18 pounds. O_o

And I still couldn't fit into that button shirt... -_-'

March 7th. Turning 22. Unlike past few years, I don't feel old at all. Complete opposite. I've barely managed to get past my teenage years. There's still a lot of time to spend, and therefore a lot of things to do...

I'm not going to plan anything special on the big day. I've been playing Gears of War 2 all the weekend (22X experience points, woot) and I think I keep going on like that tomorrow as well. I just need to go to grocery store to get something to pig out/binge. Couple of pizzas and tons of chocolate perhaps? :-P Being lazy ass is awesome!

I've decided to no longer do requests. As you might have noticed, I barely even get started with any of them, let alone ever finish them. I guess this is one of the reason why I haven't been drawing that much lately. For some reason I feel stressed out because I make these promises to people who asks for something and afterwards I don't feel like doing them. That also makes me feel pretty guilty for not keeping promises, and then the stress hits me and all the motivation goes off. I guess I should just stick with the reptiles since I don't feel like drawing much else.

So if someone who I've promised to do request pictures reads this journal, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna do it...

Today is my birthday (March 7th, I know you Americans aren't on that date yet). I'm turning into 21.

Unlike last year, I don't feel myself old at all. Maybe I've finally realized that 21 years ain't much. I still have a long road ahead, hopefully.

It was quite a holiday. Loved every single moment of it, but it still feel good to be back home. Now I got a whole bunch of submissions to check and journal entries to read. It's gonna take a while to check them all out... And after that I really have to start finishing those trades and requests.


About the gain issue, I decided to go on like before and not caring of how much I weight. Though, I should left the sugary sweets and eat more like... REAL food. More pastas, more chicken, more meaty dishes!

Well... In real life, I weight currently about 325 pounds. And last time when I hit the scale (I think it was on october), it was just roughly over 300. So... go figure.

At the same time I strangely feel happy about it, but then I also feel sad. I don't care that much of how do I look or how's my weight IRL (I rather be fatty than skinny), but in a long run gaining like that won't be healthy. I already have a risk of getting diabetes, so it can only make things worse if I keep gaining like that. Then again, I don't feel sick at all and I'm too lazy to do exercises and start losing weight anyway. I dunno. Maybe I'm stressing out for nothing.

But boy, was it tasty christmas meal. And tons of chocolate really hit the spot on my waist. *grins*

I'll be back in a week. I still got things to do.

I'm gonna be offline for a week... maybe two. Gonna spend holidays with my family. So... Merry Xmas to all of you! ^.=.^ *hugs ya all tightly*

(I also saw The Princess and the Frog just a little while ago. It was neat movie. Louis did perfect job as a comic relief character.)

1) What was your FIRST video game console?

Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)


2) Name a few games you played on said console.

Let's see... I got "Super Mario Bros/Tetris/World Cup" (3 in 1), Bubble Bobble, Bucky O' Hare, Solomon's Key and Little Nemo: The Dream Master. Then I also borrowed Dragon's Lair, Megaman 4 and other Super Mario games from my friends.


3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?

Playstation 2 and 3, Xbox 360 and Sega Mega Drive.


4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?

No. I'm not really into fighting games at all.


5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs?

At least Capcom's horror games are all quite awesome.


6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. Haven't played that much RPGs, but I'd say Dragon Quest VIII is the best so far.

No I'm not.

Haven't ever played any DDR (try to figure out why). Although I like music games, I prefer more Beatmania/Guitar Hero styled button pressing.

Nothing more important than opening the front door to my family members while they're freezing outside the house.

Sometimes, yes. But I mainly listen the music that, for example, has been in Tony Hawk-serie. There's some very good punk and hiphop songs right there.

No. I'm not even as a "furry" that kind of person who likes to dress up for costumes.

Nope. Since there's no arcades in Finland.

I don't really like this whole Remake-thing. It's ruining the film industry already, don't bring it into the video game industry either. Remakes rarely works better than the original, I believe.

But if I must name some games, then I'd say Resident Evil 2, Silent Hill (the first one) and surprisingly Kane & Lynch: Dead Men would be nice to see as a Remake.


16) Mario or Sonic?

Although I have nothing against Mario and his games... And although the recent Sonic games have been so shitty, I'd still pick the hedgehog dude. I like him more as a character.


17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use Spider-man as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version?

No. Movie-based, licence games rarely works even as a mediocre standard. They simply SUUUUUCKS!


18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)

You might think that I say "sports", since I'm a fat fur, but no. I actually play a lot of skateboarding/xtreme sport games. I don't have anything against any genre but fighting games are less familiar to me. So I'll pick that.


19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love? The best games are the most underrated ones.

There's a lot of those, but for some reason I can't name many of them right now. Well, let's say Clock Tower-serie (and Haunting Ground) and Siren-serie are quite unterrated.


20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?

I actually do that a lot of these days. Few years ago I never yelled to the TV screen or any shit like that, but now. Something's changed.

Maybe it's because all the HD-generation problems like unstable framerate that ruins combos in THP8. Or it can also be the horrible lag and aiming system in GTAIV multiplayer that makes me mad. All the errors that has nothing to do with the players actions/skills makes me anger. Easy.


21) Do you own any VG apparel?

Nope.


22) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?

Needless to say, it's horrible.


23) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?

Haven't seen that. But what I've heard, it's even worse than Super Mario.

KOF = King of Fighters? Again, I'm not into fighting games so I don't know.

No. Since we're talking most of the time the recent game releases.

Well, not damaged. But few of the games has returned with some grease at the bottom of the disc...

Only two of them. And they're both bought during this year. Siren: Blood Curse and Fallout 3. I ordered Siren from the Japan, since I wanted the disc version of the game, not some crappy downloading from PSN.

...and... ...well, that's about it. It's just a normal day in my life. Only difference, all my friends congratulate and cheers me up. It's cool. Maybe I'll do some sort of pic to myself, heh.

Ok. I guess nobody else will join the competition. So I give the results here.


First of all, the three numbers I picked up were 2, 23 and 73.

Fanimal was the second writer in the competition journal and he happened to yell the number two. I take that as a number guess, so Fanimal gets two sketch prizes.

hooded-wanderer was the 23th writer in the competition journal, so one of the sketch prizes goes there. thecaptainfoxx guessed the number 23 in his post, so he also gets one sketch prize.

And number 73... Well, we didn't got that many posts in the journal, not even close of it. And no one guessed the right number... But because Crytus's and A25's guesses were the closest ones (69 and 77), I decided to gave both of them one sketch prize.


So... If the winners are reading this, drop me a note and let me know your wishes for the sketches. Thanks to everybody for taking part to this little game... and I apologize for bad instructions.

Ok, since there seems to be little misunderstanding with the "free sketch competition", I think I need to write another journal.

The original idea was, that you don't yell the numbers which you think one of my choices is. You get counted from the order you write in the journal. At the moment, A25 is the first writer in the journal, so he's playing with number one. Fanimal is number two, andarkwolf01 number three, Verace number four and so on...
