Good News, Everyone!~
Posted 2 years agoAfter loads of saving up, and waiting for factors outside of my control... I've finally moved to my own new house!
I've been here for a week, but only today got my Internet connected. But now I'm alone, and should have loads of privacy!~ Though uh... I still have lots of unpacking and appliance shopping to do. And still work evenings.
We'll have to see how my finances are doing, it could be tight. So I'll probably not be able to get art until I know it's expendable income. (If it's really bad, I have the option of getting a roommate. Which would reduce privacy, but would increase income!)
I'll probably be seeing some of you soon!~

Break from chat programs
Posted 3 years agoThings are kinda rough for me now, I feel like I don't have time to chat. So instead of just constantly ghosting people, I'm going to say here that I'm going to keep chat programs closed. I might check messages occasionally, but if you need to contact me for something serious, you should probably note me on FA.
Maybe someday, I'll have more privacy though.
Maybe someday, I'll have more privacy though.
I kinda feel like social media kinda went off without me, making me feel super old. I feel like if I wanted to get serious about my hobbies again, I should have a social media presence so people can find me.
I also know some furry artists who post nice exclusives on their Twitter, and I wouldn't be able to like or comment anonymously.
But gee willikers, why does everything gotta be so toxic? Why is bad news always front page, and extremely important event stuff being told on a dot-COM website (therefore commercial, controlled by a social media company, when it really ought not)? Why do people gotta keep labeling each other and themselves, and attacking over labels, while also pretending that that's what's progressive now?
I just wanna have nice things! Responding with "ain't isn't so bad IF you etc." won't make it any less stressful. I just don't wanna play that game.
(Also, with my embarrassing interests, I kinda like being less known. I kinda feel like that's the reason I don't tag my scraps here.)

Mahjong
Posted 5 years agoA late night thought I had; I've been getting into Mahjong as a hobby ever since watching the Akagi anime when it came out. I own 2 sets, and I'm pretty familiar now with Japanese-rules Mahjong (Riichi Mahjong). And now, I've recently got into the game Mahjong Soul, which lets you play it online for free, and seems to have North American and Japanese players on the same server! (on top of English UI) So if you're on it, I'm sure I could friend you! (Shame its micro-transactions are pure whale-hunting. Guess I'm stuck playing the tiddy lady for a long time.) I also learned about Zung Jung Mahjong and would love to try it more, but it doesn't seem to have much online options now.
Though, there's this naughty fantasy I've had relating this to my personal kinks.
If I had at least 3 furry friends who knew how to play, and loved vore, on top of none of us being pred-only, then, hehe, we could play a private online match where in RP, we bet our lives!~ 1st place eats last! Either having an RP, writing a story, or even getting a commission where the pred and prey was determined by the outcome of the players online gamble! (Not who pays for it, we're only playfully betting the characters' lives)
And if you guys didn't know Mahjong that much, we could find a place with online poker or something! Or, y'know, risk it anyway and be easy prey!~
EDIT: Just in case someone finds this post later, I'm not really into Mahjong Soul anymore. Besides the terrible lootbox microtransactions, I was also frustrated greatly by limited-time events which require great performance for prizes. Not only is Mahjong very luck-based, combining that with strict time limits on my day-job life was way too stressful. I still know how to play, and might casually go unto Tenhou.net (with an English translation browser extension) when I'm in the mood.

Vore Pet Peeve
Posted 5 years agoSorry, can't think of a more suitable platform to nitpick on.
So here's a weird thing that annoys me about titling and tagging certain vore pics and stories:
Calling Tailvore "Absorption"
Why? 'Cuz that's what they called it in Dragonball Z whenever Cell ate people with his tail! They probably thought it'd be weird to say "Cell consumed the androids" or "Cell swallowed them with his tail". But I wouldn't call that Absorption, and wish you guys would reserve that term for actual absorption! ...Well, I suppose Cell absorbed his prey after he devoured them; it wasn't merely digestion, he took their power and transformed! I wouldn't call that absorption vore either, more like... trait stealing? I suppose when Cell drank people by stinging and liquefying them, that's more akin to absorption, but that's more like... external digestion. Whatever the case is, if your character opens their tailtip into a funnel and swallows someone else with their tail, call it tailvore!
Absorption is supposed to be, like, sinking into a goo or slime creature and being digested by the mass. Or being able to merge your prey into your body by touch, either having them sink into your flesh like the Pillar Men from Jojo, or more merging/transformation style where the prey attaches to your body and starts converting to part of your body where we can see! It can't be merely digestion, either. Even if you eat someone, and then get fatter, or more powerful, or become more like them, I think absorption should refer to how a prey is consumed, not what happens afterward. I'm a bit less picky about that last part, but I have seen normal oral vore pics tags as "absorption" just because their belly is making digestion noises or something, and I think that's incorrect.
...You see, sometimes, I'm in the mood for absorption vore, and I'm annoyed finding all these tailvore pics instead. I mean, I'm in the mood for that too sometimes!~ I just want kinks to be defined better.

Dark Wholesomeness~
Posted 6 years agoI don't want to feel too much like I'm living a double personality here. You'll find much of the content on my FA page isn't as extreme as things I've put on Inkbunny or F-List. So I need to openly confess here my favorite kink and theme.
Snuffie. That's what I've heard it called, anyway. You may have seen it used in my vore submissions. But I just really love the idea of non-permanent death and violence! To the point where everything is painless, even "pain-into-pleasure", and all participants gleefully cause and accept their temporary demise!~
It's a sort of over-powered Godplay, to just ignore death like that. Akin to characters whose hyper cock outgrows the universe, or vore predators consuming giants and global populations like it's nothing, it is ridiculous powerplay. It's being afraid of nothing, smiling at death threats because you know you'll never meet the realistic consequences. And in some cases, it's literally having your cake and eating it too! But replace the cake with your boyfriend!~
I've been writing quite a lot of personal stories with the theme. Sometimes it's a page-long short to share with a friend in chat. Some are posted on other websites, but I didn't really have the guts to put them here before now. With this warning in place, perhaps I'll get around to more cross-posting here? (heh, yeah, not all of them, and some will need editing)
But yeah, I love taking dark themes and thinking of ways to make them cute! Like, I love how the Doom Guy low-key canonically loves cute things, and had a bunny!~ I'm always tickled by pics showing fearsome monsters and creatures that are actually nice when you get to know them!~ Hmmm, is that why my character's a snake?
Frankly, I blame the 90's Addams Family movies. They're just so wholesome, moreso than the normal humans around them! Like, it's weird for a family to love each other that much!~

I'm removing nonfurry art
Posted 9 years agoSometime this week, I'll take down my unrelated sprites. Though I'm proud of them, it's kinda clashing with my modern furry interests. That, and I'm trying to add another slight barrier to make it more difficult for people to immediately associate my "public" work with the outrageous kinky stuff I'm into now! It's not like I'm YouTube-famous or anything, just wanna be safe!
I am adding art I bought to scraps
Posted 11 years agoAs this account gets more openly naughty, I've decided I will upload all the art I've commissioned or traded for to my scraps. They are 100% fetish porn, so be cautious!
I still don't feel like favoriting adult submissions, though. If I like adult art, I download it! My faves are for the most part stuff I think is really cool, or sometimes cute. Y'know, high-quality art, not stuff that's merely subject matter that I fap to!

I'm working on a Doom game
Posted 14 years agoThat's right, I've been interested in modding Doom, specifically ZDoom, which let's you run it on modern systems with more stuff. I've had ideas for a FPS, and instead of making one from scratch with Game Maker (which isn't really focused on 3D anyway), I thought it'd be easier to mod an old game system. I've learned my mistake; I'm not promising anything now. But it'd be cool if I could make a FPS staring Brittany. Y'know, that chainsaw lady on my front page? Aggression will be a major theme. I'd like it if most resources where given by kills instead of finding them in the level.
    How to use TVTropes
Posted 15 years agoGuys, guys, you seem to love referencing tropes by name in your Shallow Parodies, but there's a lot more to comedy than just Lampshading things! Play With the Trope! Be subversive, don't just have something unrealistic happen and point out you did it on purpose, and that other shows do it too!
TVTropes is not a compendium of jokes and things that need to be parodied. It's a wiki for fiction nerds. And they're wrong about a lot of things, too. It is a wiki, guys.

Fox Bunny Funny
Posted 15 years agoGod. When is the last time something you watched or read SCARRED you? You know, like it gives you an epiphany and you move up to a new level of maturity, losing more innocence and losing sleep that night?
Well, what did I learn from this portable mind screw? That culture is a base, primal human need just like food and sleep. I used to think culture was something arbitrary and transcend-able, but now I know it's just a natural indulgence. It's prepared by others and consumable, like food. People love to make their own culture, and they should. Creativity satisfies this base need.
But trying to live with other peoples' culture? That's pretty much the cause of everything wrong with civilization as we know it! The next level of maturity is realizing that making decisions based on other peoples' culture is primitive, and many people have died not reaching this level! You should be watching others' stuff for entertainment and curiosity, and not because it tells you what's "normal". There is no "normal", everyone is weird to other people in different ways due to minute personal culture. And that's natural.
Study and learn other peoples' culture, you can't destroy it. Understand peoples' expectations. And don't let them become "serious business". It's only culture, grow up a little. Assuming your culture is sacred, and being "offended", are childish vices. Once everyone is creative, HUMANITY HAS REACHED UTOPIA.
All of this was gleaned by a wordless graphic novel advertised on Telltale Games's website. Yeah, the ones that made the new Sam and Max games. In case you missed the title, it's called "Fox Bunny Funny". PROTIP: the "Funny" does not refer to humor or comedy. It may "look" goofy, but hey, Watership Down "looked" cute.

Read TVTropes
Posted 17 years agoYour life will be forever changed by reading TV Tropes wiki. And by that, I don't mean you'll spend lots of time on it, since it's a wiki. I mean you'll understand ART. Every "secret" of trade opens to you, and only the truly unique will catch you by surprise. Once you understand what people want out of entertainment, you'll know what they want out of real life.
    Jack-of-all-trades is a curse
Posted 17 years agoI'm not indecisive, I'm versatile!
Man, my biggest problem with long term projects is that I feel so much like trying EVERYTHING that I don't stick too one thing very long. It's hard for me to complete game projects because there are about 5 ideas I want to try. My City of Heroes Account has close to 10 characters, but none are above level 20. If you check my Steam Team Fortress 2 stats, you'll notice that I try to keep each class's play time near identical; before a match starts, I note which 3 classes have the lowest play time and choose from there.
I made cool pixel art, but I feel they need to be part of something bigger. I tried some lame webcomics, but that never stuck. I tried brief Flash cartoons, but don't feel like doing a whole one (and I don't really have Flash anymore). I think I've got some voice talent. I've auditioned for other peoples' projects, but they tend to drop the voice part. I've considered trying a "radio drama" from stuff I liked, such as Phoenix Wright. I've considered posting audio rants online.
I feel like being in the furry community. I feel like being in the indie games community. I feel like being in the pixel art community. I feel like being in the Live Journal community. I feel like being in the online gaming communities. I feel like being in the satirical communities.
I like intense action games. I like deep turn-based games. I like randomized games. I like deterministic games. I like mindless and abstract games. I like plot-driven games.
I like being a leader. I like being a follower. I like talking about politics. I like talking about religions. I like girls. I like guys. I like researching things. I like learning from experience. I like keeping my cool. I like letting my emotions loose. I like immersive experiences. I like critical analysis.
The problem with all of these things is though I do them all, I never do any at the same time. I feel like there are many different aspects to me, which I constantly switch whenever I feel the impulse. None of them are really dominant. I try new things so often that it's like there's a new "me" every time. It's like I have 99 personas.
It's not hypocrisy, it's role-playing!

My favorite quote
Posted 18 years agoThis is one of the things that I quote the most often, and I usually burst out laughing every time:
"Ow!"
Now, you really, really need to understand what the context is. It's said right at the end of the first clip here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS2hzBsRSx4
So yes, I say this every time I'm playing a video game or watching a movie or anime and I feel like understating how much something hurts, always a long way after it happened and almost always when fatal. I do remember saying it after getting my head chainsawed off for the first time in Resident Evil 4.

I'm finally doing a meme quiz
Posted 18 years ago1) What was your FIRST video game console?
My big brother got a NES when I was little. The first console I have sole ownership of would be the N64.
2) Name a few games you played on said console.
For NES, mostly stuff my grandma got us. One was that soccer game with the River City Ransom sprites. I also remember Wrath of Black Manta (Mantis?), a ninja game
3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
3 consoles, with partial ownership of 2 others and 2 handhelds (one broke)
4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
I was really into SF3 for a while. I like Makoto the most.
5) If you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs, I would like to hear a "hell yes" followed by a Capcom character you love.
Methinks this quiz may be biased. But yes, they are second only to Guilty Gear. My favorite capcom character must be... B.B. Hood.
6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
This never happens with my friends, but I'm sure I'd notice.
7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG?
Definitely Fire Emblem, if that counts. Or especially Castlevania, if those count.
8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
Most of my favorite games happen to be 2D. I'm not old-school, though. I'm middle school.
9) Are you an SNK fan?
Absolutely yes.
9) Are you good at DDR? I mean "GOOOOD" at DDR!
Back when I played it, I used to be able to do 6 Step songs. On related note, I own at Guitar Hero.
10) Who wants to kick that dog's ass from Duck Hunt?
That gun doesn't freakin' work. >:[ ... hey, they should make a Wii Duck Hunt!
11) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?
Define important. Uh... I guess not.
12) Do you listen to video game music?
All the time. I'm currently into Touhou
13) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character..?
Not yet.
14) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??
I rarely get challengers when playing fighting games.
15) Name three games you would love to see remakes of if it was done properly.
I would say that soccer game from earlier, but Mario Strikers fits the bill. Uh... most of the games I like are already done properly and very recent, or already remakes. If you're asking me games I want more sequels of, then Resident Evil 4, Metal Slug, and Guilty Gear.
16) Mario or Sonic?
Mario.
17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use SpiderMan as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version? It doesn't have to be SpiderMan btw.
No.
18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
I won't say sports, since it's possible to make good sports game; it just so happens that bland ones are "mainstream". I really don't like traditional style RPGs anymore. Boring.
19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love?
Godhand! People who hate probably just aren't very good at it. I own!
20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?
Yes.
21) Do you own any VG apparel?
Last Christmas, by big brother got me a hot topic shirt that says "Noobs. It's what's for dinner!". I've never worn it.
22) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?
As a kid, my thoughts where "Hey, that's not how it is!"
23) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?
"Quick, change the channel!" The comic relief was better than the fighting.
24) Who hottest out of these three KOF chicks IYHO? Shermie, Leona, or Mai Shiranui.
ARE YOU BLIND?!
25) Do you say "old-school" a lot when you're having a VG conversation with others?
Kinda, ya.
26) Have you ever lent someone a game and they returned it to you damaged?
Yes, Marvel Vs Capcom 2 on Dreamcast doesn't work anymore.
27) Do you own any imported games?
I have the Touhou fighting game! I also play lots of other Japanese computer games.
28) Are you ready for this meme to be over, or could you keep going?
This is getting boring.
29) In this scenario, let's pretend you're going to get a video game tattoo! What would you get and where? This can be simple or elaborate.
I'd get Potemkin's barcode if I thought people would recognize it. Probably something from Metal Slug.
30) Have you ever cried after you beat a game? If so why?
I think I almost did on Terranigma. There are also plenty of times besides the ending. Perfect example: Elite Beat Agents Christmas level. EVERYONE cries after this: it's worse than the Futurama dog episode!
Oh, bi the way...
Posted 18 years agoI don't think sexual preferences are genetic or hereditary. You might say that it's influenced by how a person is raised, but I think it's a choice. The dumbest argument against this is "Why would someone be gay on purpose? Why would they choose to be hated and outcast and persecuted?". You may as well say "Why would a person choose to be Christian, Atheists will hate them!", or for that matter, "Why would a person choose to be Atheist, Christians will hate them!".
I think all people are "naturally bi". As in, I think everyone is capable of finding guys and/or girls attractive if they wanted to and capable of loving physical contact with whomever they want to give consent to. It's up to the individual to decide what kind of people they are attracted to, therefore, describing it as "sexual preference" is the perfect way to describe it IMHO. I find that it parallels with food preferences. People are naturally omnivorous, but some people decide to be vegetarians, you see? The main difference, though, is that for food, allowing for anything is the social norm and those who choose to only have a certain type (like plant matter) are the deviants, whereas for sexual attraction, the social norm is choosing only one category, the opposite sex, and anything else is deviant. Your parents could have raised you vegetarian, but you might choose not to be once no longer control you as much, and likewise you might be raised straight. Vice versa for gay guys with girls.
But being straight is the "cool" thing to do, and life as a school-age person is run greatly by what's "cool". Doing anything not stereotypically straight is as bad of an offense as admitting that you like a certain band that isn't popular anymore. Pretty much everyone in high-school is "School-house straight". They say they're straight, practice a straight life-style, and even honestly enjoy being straight, but once they're freed from the school-house setting, they're finally free to consider other things. And I do mean "consider", being straight might be right up your alley, but whenever you see someone of the same gender who's attractive, there's no more reason to stifle yourself, admit it. You're still straight, you still prefer girls, but since you no longer have to worry about keeping a tough guy attitude, you shouldn't feel like vomiting when some androgynous type reveals to be a dude.

Furry hawtness and other philosophy
Posted 18 years agoOkay okay, I think I may have this furry thing all figured out (oi vey, not another guy!).
It's not some spirit thing or shamanism, nor some latent bestiality or anything to do with animals, really. It's easy characterization! Do you know why anime characters have bizarre hair colors and styles? So they're easier to tell apart! If they don't have a unique way of drawing their face, then their outfit is usually the only way to set them apart otherwise. Other features include strange eye color and tattoos, along with beauty scars, and on rare occasions, a skin color different from the rest of the cast. This is all amongst human characters (or those that appear human).
Furries, though, hoo boy! Fur patterns alone give a previously unheard of dimension to a characters appearence, but there's also the shape of things like muzzle, ears, tail, even legs and feet. Argueably, the main reason this is important is, unlike an anime character's crazy costume, these details all apply WHILE NUDE! In fact, even moreso! Naked furries are just more interesting than naked humans, and that's why their porn is better! Of course, what's there to compare it to? Hentai? Hentai's boring. Sometimes, they go into kinky territory, but furries do that too, so that audience is catered to. I've seen some Sci-Fi and Fantasy erotica, but their characters are either too human or, ironically, too inhuman!
Oh, duh, there's "real" porn, too. Well, for one, it costs more money (by that, I mean "some money at all"). That makes it accessible only to those willing pay money to watch others have sex on their computer, those who dig deep into places offering freebies with dubious quality, or those who know how and where to hax0r and pirate online porn. For another thing, only sex acts possible between the current actors (and acts the actors are willing to do on camera) are what you are going to see. Rarely is a porno going to have production values enough for things like any special effects, props more complex than common "toys", a set besides someone's bedroom, or even PLOT! Let's face it, mainstream porn is essentialy prostitution with slightly more attractive people and you only get to watch.
Which brings up a very important point; if prostitution was legalized, I'll bet all porn will get hurt massively, as those fixing for a quick fix can just pay to GET LAID! Mainstream porn would either start failing or... try harder! Could you imagine seeing a live-action movie with sex in it? I don't mean soft stuff that's barely rated R thrown in, I mean if people made full-quality movies with full-quality porn in it. It's only because normal theaters won't/can't show something like that that those movies wouldn't be very profitable. If stuff like brothels because legal, though, I'll bet adult theaters could be "popular" too, or even right in said brothels!
I'm thinking that's enough points as to why I like furry porn best: furry characters are on average more intersting than others, and adult artists on sites like this just plain TRY HARDER.
(maybe I oughta repost this in the forum)
