Mmmhmmm.
Posted 11 years agoThe insight of this author and the accuracy in these articles, is spot on. He understands a lot of what's going on in the world today, as far as I'm concerned; those are excellent reads sir, 5 stars to you.

Oi vey FA
Posted 11 years agoI'm tired of the nonstop problems FA has too. I just love how submissions and images just sit there blank and take forever to load or don't even load at all.

Cystic Fibrosis Awareness!
Posted 13 years agoSkyrim - A Critique
Posted 14 years agoI've had the Elder Scrolls series since Daggerfall first came out and I even own Battlespire so I've been a long time fan and player of the Elder Scrolls series.
What happened to the inhabitants of Skyrim? Are they seriously that dumb in magic now? The magic in Skyrim is severely limited now, the choices, the abilities, the powers and options given to the player compared to the prior releases. So nobody in Tamriel has been able to traverse to Skyrim and share that knowledge of magic? That completely makes no sense to me whatsoever.
Before anyone comes out and gives the argument of -- Who cares? Who worries about "trivial" things like that in a game? It's got pretty graphics, etc etc.
I'll only say -- That's how it seems things have gone in the gaming market today. Many seem to feel and believe that "pretty graphics" are all that is important and what makes a game good or not, so much so that many other aspects and choices of a game can be stripped out and taken away and many don't even care. Some consistency and credibility has to remain or it becomes less believable and the severely limiting of magic seriously damages the credibility and has low or no logical justification for it.
I find that sad.

Serenity Graphical Chat
Posted 15 years agoIf anyone has used graphical avatar/pose chats before, Serenity is one geared more towards the older crowd (17+) and is pretty laid back on the rules.
You must be approved for invite for the chat but it's not really a "private" chat per se, it's invite mainly to keep out members younger than 16.
The easiest and best way to be invited is go to the forum section (Waiting Room link), post there as a guest and wait for the approval email to be sent to you. :}
It is a free membership for all, pay just gives you extra features to use, mainly if you want to upload and use your own custom poses and rooms.
Homepage: http://www.serenityisles.com/
Waiting Room: http://serenityisles.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=39 <-- Forum link location to sign up for invite.
Some exceptions will be made for 16 year old users, but no one under 16 is allowed.
Admin email in case anyone has questions/concerns: Serenity.Chatlands[at]gmail.com

Regarding Commissions
Posted 16 years agoAs a general rule for commissioning in the future, I will pay half when I see the sketch, the other half when the art is done. Any other options you may have, I will listen to but it will vary on a case-by-case basis.
I feel that paying first is actually a hindrance to the artist and very often slows things down among other things. There is no longer an incentive to finish it either. I believe that when something is paid first, it in effect "doubles" the burden or load upon the artist doing the work as they now have the job of doing the commission AND they now are in debt to the commissioner money-wise as well.
I'm well aware that many require payment first because they've done commissions before and never got paid, however, that has happened on both sides of the coin for many people.
If anyone has any thoughts on this matter, by all means share them.

Quarrying PENDING
Posted 16 years agoThe guy my friend works with (for) keeps changing and messing with the beach dates they're set to do so I shall put the quarrying date(s) as PENDING until further notice.
On the bright side, it gives me more time to do my homework and research more into the nitty gritty and specifics.

Quarrying
Posted 16 years agoSo forgot to post this here so I shall..
This coming weekend, a friend and I made plans to go quarrying in North Carolina. So far we have chosen a ruby quarry, where you pay a fee and keep whatever you find for the day. We shall do that on Saturday and then for Sunday, we shall search for arrowheads. ^___^
I've wanted to quarry for gems for some time so I'm definitely looking forward to it! If our plans (or circumstances) change, I'll try and post an update.
WOO.

Back...
Posted 16 years agoGot back this morning from ImagiCon 2009...
Didn't get very many photos taken as we were busy most of the time and didn't really have many opportunities to but there's a couple of pictures squeezed in.
I had a good time, learned quite a bit, met awesome people and certainly was/am exhausted from it all but I expected that! XD

Initial post
Posted 18 years agoAlthough I procrastinate well enough to rarely do any art, flukes do occur and I might actually draw something.
Might as well post up some of my older art from DA seeing that FA is a site for art. :B
