Farewell Booster B1058
General | Posted 2 years agoOn Friday 23rd December, after the launch of Starlink Group 6-32 from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) in Cape Canaveral, Booster B1058, known also as "The Worm", as it was the only Falcon 9 booster to feature the iconic "NASA Worm Logo", performed its flip, entry, and landing burns nominally, completing its 19 landing upon the autonomous drone ship Just Read The Instructions. B1058 was secured by the Ocotograbber near the center of the deck as Just Read The Instructions began its voyage back to Port Canaveral. During the transport, Just Read The Instructions encountered higher than forecasted waves and wind speeds, leading to a structural failure of landing legs, causing the booster to tip over and be destroyed. B1058 is an older model of the Falcon 9 Block 5, did not feature hydraulic self leveling landing legs but the older style "lockout landing legs" that simply relied on the release of hydraulic pressure to deploy before under going a physical lockout. A similar situation happened to Booster B1069 on the 21st December 2021, when after the launch of the Commercial Cargo Resupply 24 (CRS-24) mission to the International Space Station, the hydraulic lockout mechanism partially failed, leading to damage of the booster, landing leg, and an engine. This mission marks the first non-expended loss of a Falcon 9 Booster since the loss of Booster B1059 during its landing on Of Course I Still Love You on the 16th of February, 2021 after the launch of the Starlink V 1.0 L19 mission. B0158 was at the time of its loss the fifth most flown Launch vehicle of all time, and the most flown launch vehicle in active service, coming only behind the Space Shuttles Discovery (39 flights), Endeavour (33 flights), Columbia (28 flights), and Atlantis (25 flights).

AJoIH Update
General | Posted 2 years agoAs you may have noticed I've gone slightly longer without posting an AJoIH page than normal. AJoIH is by far from dead and I continue to work on it, however slow it may be. THis is mainly because me and Trinity have somewhat agreed on a hiatus of the graphic novelization of AJoIH over a variety of... "inconveniences" lacking any better proper terminology. A large part that I want AJoIH to be is that, at least in the beginning where it matters, to feel like it truly can happen and is based as close as possible on real world things, from technology, to terms, and even procedures and timelines (more in terms of short individual things not an overall timeline of the story, timelines for how launches happen and things develop). Sadly however if you look into it, many things that happen in the beginning are things that can be best described in the old time military phrase of...
"Hurry Up and Wait"
Where you do something quick, wait a long period of time for everyone else and everything else to catch up and get on the same page, before continuing. One good example of this is Docking Procedure of Manned Spacecraft to the International Space Station. From the beginning of the actual procedure to being able to get crew on board, can take 5 hours, all while the spacecraft is at its furthest from the station 200 meters, with many many small individual things that have to be done. I understand that these mean close to nothing to 99.99% of readers, but it allows the inside glimpse of the "behind the scenes of Space Travel" that I want the beginning of AJoIH to be. Popular culture always glosses over the great inside of space travel, with the most given being glimpses of Mission Control when things go wrong such as "Apollo 13" or "The Martian" and "For All Mankind", with little in the ways of the science and physics. Me and Trin are working on ways to overcome this hurdle and return to getting pages out again, however with Trin getting a new job and Me climbing the ranks of the U.S. Army and getting more and more responsibility that seems harder and less likely by the day.
However, once the story is able to progress past the beginning and get to what I estimate to be about 3 or 4, things should become substantially easier as it can finally leave that "Hurry Up and Wait" phase and finally get its legs underneath itself.
Suggestions for helping overcome this are welcome and hoping yall have a great day,

Looking for a High Quality Traditional Artist for My Brot...
General | Posted 3 years agoSo yesterday my Brothers cat Nala was put down, she had appearantly stopped eating and drinking and overall began to shutdown. My family decided ot was best to simply let Her go in peace and put Her to rest. She had been with the family for 17 years and was my Brother's registered emotional support animal and one of the few things my Brother had in this world. My family also had to recently put down our other long time family cat of 15 years Jack, which was hard on my Mother, who I am healing a relationship with after years of animosity due to Her treatment of my Father while he was alive and shortly after His passing in 2018. My Brother's birthday is coming up on the 21st and I would do anything to consul and be with Him but currently that is not possible do to my Combat Deployment Overseas. If anyone sees this and knows of a very high quality traditional pencil, pen, and paper artist please let me know. I have quite a bit of money and am able to spend. If you don't know any artist directly, share this around for them to see, I know many people ask the same and these types of journals are generally just either looked at the title and disregarded or briefly opened and skimmed before being deleted, but please, I've been away from home for 6 months and if not for me, for my brother.

Closer to Liftoff!
General | Posted 3 years agoYesterday, the American National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the European Space Agency rolled out their massive 322 foot tall Space Launch System to Launch Complex 39B at the Kennedy Space Center for the launch of Artemis 1! This rocket is currently the single most powerful Launch Vehicle ever built and soon launched (only to then be beat by SpaceX's Starship once it launches) generating 8.8 million pounds of thrust from 2 solid rocket boosters and 4 RS-25Ds sending a possible payload of 27 tons on a trans lunar injection. Soon NASA will build even more powerful version able to send 46 tons to the moon in the Block 2 Cargo. But that's in the future, in the present Artemis 1 is scheduled for a No Earlier Than Launch date of 0833 local time on the 29th of August, being the second launch in preparation for the next landing on the Moon by humans in over half a century. Words can't describe my excitement to see this magnificent machine fly and to be able to say that I watched live, as people walked on the Moon. God Speed Artemis, may you fly straight and true.

Russian Warship. Go Fuck Yourself
General | Posted 4 years agoOn February 24th 2022 2 Russian Warships (the patrol boat Vasily Bykov and guided missile cruiser Moskva, the later being the Flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet) approached the Ukrainian owned Snake Island defended by 13 Members of the Ukrainian military. The Russian Warships messaged the island requesting the defenders to surrender and lay down their weapon and their lives would be spared. The defenders with honor and gallantry for their home in their hearts and minds knew they would never stand a chance if they decided to stand and fight, but if they surrendered they would be giving up their home and would not be living up to their oath. After the Russians transmitted the offer of surrender the Ukrainian defenders responded to the Russian Ship
"Russian Warship. Go Fuck Yourself"
The Russian Ships would bombard the island killing all 13 defenders. In honor of these brave souls a shirt has been made to support the Ukrainian struggle featuring the Ukrainian flag and the Gadsen snake with the infamous quote in Ukrainian. All proceeds go to Ukraine and to support the fight against the Russian invaders.

UKRAINE IS NOT YET LOST!
Edit 1 Feb 26 2022 0242 EST: It has been updated that the number of defenders and casualties of Snake Island was wrongfully reported but still none the less sad and disheartening, the numbers of defenders of the island was in actuality 82 and not 13, still they all fell in action for their Motherland.
Edit 2 Feb 26 2022 1344 EST: The claims of the island being defended by 82 Ukrainians has turned out to be claimed by Russian forces who say the defenders were taken prisoner and signed pledges to cease military action against Russia and will be released soon, there is no independent sources verifying this as of this time. President Zelensky announced that the original number of 13 will all be posthumously awarded the Hero of Ukraine Medal, the highest medal one can receive for military service and action in Ukraine. Ignore Edit 1
Edit 3 Feb 27 2022 1609 EST: Information has come out that the 13 Soldiers of Snake Island have indeed survived and were taken into captivity and are currently in the city of Sevastopol. The survival is still relatively unconfirmed and we will not know until their return to Ukraine. Somewhat Ignore Edit 2 Fully Ignore Edit 1

Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Happy New Year
General | Posted 4 years agoWhat? You expected more? It's just new years... FINE!
So 2021 was filled with ups and downs... and down... and down... and farther down but we must not forget those ups that for a brief moment filled us with hope before immediately smacking us back down. 2021 was honeslty stoll a pretty good year for me completing Basic Combat Training on January 28th and going to start AIT at Fort Sill.... where I would almost immediately be put on crutches for a Grade 3 Stress Fracture in my left Femural Neck that would see me stay on those crutches from late January through February, March, and into mid April but still being not allowed to train until Mid May. During those 4 and a half months I got my first promotion through time in service. I would meet awesome people and still learn a lot about the Army and would learn what FORSCOM is much more like simply through how my days were scheduled. It was during this time that I was talking with
K633 when I was asking him about any comic artists they knew who would then lead me to
TrinityGodAG and their stellar work and the rest is history. I would spend my nights of Advanced Training in the barracks talking with them and watching them stream the comic after a long day in the classroom learning radio procedures, or Ammunition combination, or the long hot days in the motorpool, before needing to wake up at 5am to start the day with good old PT. After AIT I would be basically sent back home to the near by base an hour from where I grew up my whole life. Getting settled into my Unit and continuing to learn I would grow to truly see my unit as a second family (more so than my real family but that's not important right now because fuck em). While out in the field spending nights under the stars in the summer and sending rounds down range and getting in firefights with OpFor puts a smile on my face and makes me feel like I truly chose the right job. I got my second promotion back in September (again through time in service) and am making decent money. Being able to go out on patrol with good buddies and teach younger soldiers what life here is like and what the area is like makes me feel like not only a good soldier put a good person and gives me a reason to get up in the morning, well that and PT. So with pages of AJoIH on the way, ideas more more art (when I can) and more for me on the Horizon, if 2022 blocks our path we shall "Find a Way or Make One" as our Brigade motto goes.

General | Posted 4 years agoThey say that in this world, there are two types of people
Artillerymen
and Targets
For 246 years the Field Artillery Branch has been providing the most lethal and devastating support to the United States Army to deliver overwhelming fire superiority on the land warfare battlegrounds of the conflicts of the United States. From the City of Boston in the Revolution, to Gettysburg in the War of Rebellion, the Fields of France in WWI, the streets of Aachen in WWII, and Mountains of the Panshir Valley in Afghanistan, the Mighty Redleg has been in every major conflict of the United States from the beginning. Though the cannons, the fire control, ammunition, and technologies have evolved and changed over time, wars won and lost, there is one thing that hasn't, the love a Redleg has for their gun.
The term "Redleg" is a one in which Cannoneers are proud to be called, the term derives from the old uniforms of the time of the War of 1812, when a bright red crimson stripe ran down the seam of the trousers of the members of the Artillery Branch (The "Field" had not been added to the name at this point) to signify they were not in the Infantry or Engineers, and from the anachronistic story of using your legs to absorb the recoil of the cannons to the point they would bleed. It was also at this point that the insignia for the Artillery would be made, with 2 crossed 1805 Napoleonic Cannons, this would change as years went by to other cannons and with the Coastal and Air Defense Artillery Branches adding things such as a Surface to Air Missile or an oval with a naval gun shell for the Coastal Artillery Corps. To this day, regiments of the Field Artillery use Red and Yellow in their Distinctive Unit Crests and in some units still wear the Red Cord on the right shoulder while every enlisted and commissioned soldier still wear the crossed cannons on their lapels either as a single disk on the left for the enlisted, or no disk on each side for officers.
As technologies developed and new innovations made the Field Artillery has been at the forefront to implement them. With the first introduction of breech firing weapons into the army with early screw breeches, recoil dampening with hydropneumatic pistons on the "French 75", higher performing smokeless powder for increased range, velocity, and lethality, the internal combustion engine for self propelled guns and ammunition carriers, the steam engine for large caliber railway guns, radios for long range communications for fire mission coordinates, the airplane for target observation, the atomic warhead for hard hitting and devastating first strike strategic and tactical missions, the ballistic missile for long range accurate missions and force projecting deterrence, GPS for long range precision strike on targets, and much more. But even though the Artillery has grown much in its technologies it still relies on one crucial aspect that with out would fail and not be possible. The Cannoneer, who without their "Brute Force and Ignorance" fire missions are impossible to complete, even in a world of far ranging radar, computer calculated trajectories, GPS guided munitions, fine tuned machinery, and automated ammunition handling systems, the American Redleg is proud to just use their pure nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, sleepless, foodless, dehydrated, unshaven, mud covered, hearing loss, showerless, hate fueled muscles to dig spades, move their gun, load their rounds, and pull their lanyards
With the Artillery being such a long and time honored branch of the Army nothing is truly "normal" and this even comes down to names. In most Army units, their are a series of leadership positions of both commissioned officers and enlisted non-commissioned officers with the highest being the Company Commander (a Captain/O-3 position), Executive Officer (1st Lieutenant/O-2) then Platoon Leader (1st LT/O-2) for commissioned officers and NCOs going from First Sergeant (First Sergeant/E-8) to Platoon Sergeant (Sergeant First Class/E-7), Squad Leader (Staff Sergeant/E-6) but the Artillery never does anything the same ways as those poor walking Infantry, the Redleg has much more simpler terms for his Chain of Command, with Platoon Sergeants being "Smoke", this comes from the days where unused powders were burned in a controlled environment under the eye of the platoon sergeant (or equivalent position) so they would always smell like smoke from the burning powders, the Squad Leader is "Chief" for he is the leader of the smallest unit in the Battery, a Section, equivalent to a Squad, and the title of the position is "Chief of the Section", the Commander is no the "CO" He is "BC" for Battery Commander. There are then positions with no equivalency such as the Gunnery Sergeant or "Gunny" who is in charge of the howitzers being layed correctly.
With such a long history, no branch can go so long with out getting a few names into the history books and popular knowledge, here are only some of America's most famous Redlegs
Harry S. Truman: 33rd President of the United States (Battery Commander [Captain] Battery D, 129th Field Artillery, WWI)

Alexander Hamilton: First Secretary of the Treasury of the United States (Captain of the New York Provisional Company of Artillery, American Revolutionary War)

A Fur Affinity Problem
General | Posted 4 years agoSo, I have been on this website for a good amount of years now, since 2016, over this time I have started noticing a trend and something that I consider a problem. YCHs, Auctions, and Sales. Now there is N O T H I N G ! wrong with people trying to sell their characters, sell slots for commissions, or try and sell their art, it is a large part of this fandom's economy and its to an extent a large part of the art world as artists make a piece with their talent and then try to sell it to gain a profit and some notoriety, its been happening for literally THOUSANDS of years. But FA has a special problem with it, going onto the home page you will be immediately plastered by seeing at times up to more than 50% of the submissions on there being one of the 3 above mentioned things. Such as right as I am writing this I opened up a new tab and went to the home page and saw 6 of them out of 20 submissions total, that making these "Sells" as I am going to refer to them as, making that one refresh have Sells make up 33.33% of the submissions, mind you this is only talking about the "Recent Artwork" portion and not the Writing, Music, or Crafts sections, but this can mean that an artist can spend hours and hours working on a piece and when finally post it it gets CRUSHED by what is essentially advertisements from larger artists. Lets use a real world example that made me say "It's about time I feel like I actually let this off my chest"
My first update for the KN-31 Windbreaker skin found here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43563556/
Now I didn't count exactly how many Sells made up the homepage but I did view my piece to see the views, go back to the homepage to see where it was on it, go back to my piece, and repeat until it was off the homepage. Now I am a small artist with 56 Watchers, sadly I know a few are no longer watching as they either have left the website or have new accounts that don't watch me and I know that all my watchers don't have FA open 24/7/365 like myself, so I am content with seeing my piece stay up for about 1 to 1 and a half minutes getting around 10-15 views then my AJoIH pages getting around 20-25 as it seems they do. However this skin update, stayed up for what was basically less than 30 seconds, and got, drum roll please... 2 views, and from looking at the home page after it had at least 10 Sells up after it that pushed it out of a total 21 pieces that could've fit on the homepage. Meaning that only 2 people were able to see what is honestly not that much of real "Art" before ads bullied it off the homepage. Now again people selling their art is 100% fine and reasonable for all the reasons I said before, and when i comes to art it truly is a "Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder" if you fail do to public uninterest, well, as we say in the Army, "Embrace the Suck" but no one should be failing and not getting feed back because artists who at times aren't even tagging their Sells with even their own username simply take up more space than those just trying to be seen so they know whether or not their work is liked.
Now FA has done somethings to try and lessen the damage these Sells are doing, a few months ago if I remember they enacted new rules to so that these Sells have to have certain time between them so an Artists can't just carpet bomb the homepage with them and again if I remember correctly those Sells will be taken down after a while from their Gallery. This was a huge improvement over the old system of "Expend All Ammunition" so to say where they could've just let it rip. Even then I see some artists THAT I WATCH complain about how some of their work isn't getting enough attention when they have HUNDREDS of watchers and their Sells get HUNDREDS of views in just ONE DAY, my in contrast my most viewed real piece (I say real as my actual most viewed is more of an update on the MBT-53A1 "Hurricane" Model) "308th Fighter Squadron of the CADA “The Smoking Snakes”" found here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26104960/ has gotten its 326 views (at the time of writing) over the course of over 3 AND A HALF YEARS so seeing larger artists with their watchers and publicity whine about "their lack of buyers" or "lack of being widespread enough" is honestly laughable, its like watching a celebrity cry over how people aren't buying their brand and costing them soooo much money, like if you have the money to sell the brand you have money to live off of with out the brand.
In all honesty I believe the cure for this to make both sides happy is to make a new section on the homepage between Writing and Music specifically for YCHs, Auctions, and other Sells with the same rules currently in place, this will give those artists the actual on homepage presence to get their message out there and still be visible to the FA community while not pummeling smaller artists into the ground and off of the homepage before they can be seen and can help these smaller artists grow and give them more self esteem to post more, giving them more views and watchers, while also growing the community more.
I know this is much longer than really any of my other journals and is very ranty but I feel like its a big problem that needs to be dealt with before the tumor gets larger. If you agree please link to this journal spread it farther so hopefully it might be seen by a mod or admin and get at least talked about "upstairs". Other than that have a great Labor Day Weekend and Enjoy the last of Summer.

19 Years, 10 Months, 1 Week, and 5 Days of Progress... Go...
General | Posted 4 years agoNOTE! Any Political or "Sided Views" shown in this are that of my own Personnel Opinion as an American Citizen and have no Relation or Correlation other than Coincidence to that of The United States Government, Department of Defense, or Department of the Army.
11 Days and 1 Piece of Paper is all it took, to wipe out the progress of 3 Generations. Today in Kabul, the capital city of The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hibatullah Akhundzada announced the creation of The Second Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with Him as the Emir. As this post is being typed, soldiers, marines, airmen of the United States Armed Forces evacuate the nation onboard aircraft ranging from C-17s and C-5s, to smaller craft like UH-60s and CH-47s with civilians in tow. Many people have compared the Fall of Kabul to the Evacuation of Saigon in The Republic of Viet Nam in 1975, with glaring similarities, the most evident, the landing of CH-47E Chinook on top the US Embassy in Kabul to shuttle Embassy Workers and Service Members to the Hamid Karzai International Airport under Operation Allies Refuge by the United States and Operation Pitting by the United Kingdom. Over the past 11 days nearly the entirety of Afghanistan has fallen back under Taliban control with only small portions under either independent rule or still loyal to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Officially The SIEA has said they will expand Women's rights to those under Islamic Law, not launch a purge of those who helped the ISAF, and NATO, and make over all reforms, many (if not all) are skeptical of these claims, remembering the period from 1996-2001 when the Taliban were in rule last with horrid beheadings, amputations, and stonings for simple crimes. The US withdrawal from the nation has already had other impacts around the globe, Pakistan and Uzbekistan were already uneasy partners with the US and NATO (Pakistan was even the last hiding place for Osama bin Laden) and The People's Republic of China has raised doubts about the United States' commitment to The Republic of China were the PRC to take the Island Nation by force which it claims as its own territory.
Now I can not speak for the service members of other nations, units, or even those I serve along side, but I have a moral standing of "Fighting for Right, Even if You must go on the Offensive, You are not the only thing that Matters, the World is more Interconnected than ever, over There effects over Here, Those who deny Freedom to others Deserve it not for Themselves." Many people when I tell them this seem confused, that it almost contradicts itself and is self defeating, but I guess it can be summed as "What They are doing Over There is Wrong, and I don't care if it doesn't affect Me, it needs to stop." When I enlisted last August I swore not just an oath to My nation's Constitution but also a personal oath to myself, that I will do what ever it takes to make sure as many people can live freely, not just in how my nation sees freedom, but as freedom to choose whether or not you want to live a life of farming or designing, trucking or arts, supply or sciences. That no one should be forced to not be able to do something like go to school because they are a female, or forced into a life of agriculture because of their family before them or because there are those who have a quota for a certain crop. Governments should be at the whim of the People, not the People at the whim of the Government.
If making sure people everywhere are free to live how they wish is wrong, than send me to Hell, I'll see you there soon.

Sorry about the lack of AJoIH lately
General | Posted 5 years agoI know its only 2 pages one art and the cover but I still feel much better about the project than I have in the last year or two, main problem is money, bought a new S20+5G and its wasn't exactly cheap, I've been trying out some ideas in my head for the pages, still saving loney to buy back the dodge and the Army keeps me busy.
has been such a great help in this and I can't thank them enough for all of this. Can't wait for the Ingenuity flight tomorrow and the Crew Dragon 2 Mission Thursday! Just to think that something WE built will have a powered flight on another PLANET Millions of kilometers away.
Until Next Time Friends.

Looking for a Comic Artist
General | Posted 5 years agoI would like to fist thank EVERYONE for over 5000 Page Views, everyone counts to me and means that you bothered taking time out of your day to look at my horrible page and depending on the peice you looked at my horrible face, horrible art, or horrible writing. Here's to 5,000 more hopefully not in such a long time span.
So you all obviously know that AJoIH is my pride and joy. 99.999% of my post here are simply building it up and trying to make it seems real and lived in. I promise I am still writing when I have the time, the motivation, and accuracy to, youd be surprised how hard the last one is for something that is a complete work of fiction. I know that I am far from the most talented artist, I know I am far from the best at posting regularly I mean just look at the actual folders for the story itself and my time still in training means that I can not transfer alot of what I have written down onto text (I hate using my phone for it) not can I get any digital peices done. However I am currently getting a steady source of income, keeping a fair bit of it from taxes, and now have my phone semiregualrly to contact people meaning.... *drum roll* I can at least commission someone to do the comic side of this while I continue to write. If you think you or someone you know or someone that you know knows thinks they would like to try this or can help send them my way and share this journal. Every person that knows os one more person that can help direct me or bring someone my way to help.

Things look to be more relaxed and that I'll have access to my phone more often so I should be staying up to date better, Hank Aaron's death was something I was not expecting and when I found out about the Game Stop Stock controversy I was definitely surprised on that. Other than that I have some peices iive been working on (one in particualer I'm real proud of and cant wait) but its late and Im tired just wanted to drop by and say that the first stage is done and now the real fun begins.
Last Day at Home (Again)
General | Posted 5 years agoWell, Holiday Block Leave is over, I must once again leave home to return to base and training. Thankfully 2 weeks of training remain and 3 and a half-ish until graduation meaning that by the very end of the month I should be out of there and on to my 2nd part of training where I'll have much more freedom and ability to do things.
Keep it good and chill and dont break anything while Im gone

with 2 Notes (which are informing me that 4 of my submissions got deleted because FA changed policy after they were uploaded, however granted some are understandable but THANKS FOR DOING IT WHILE IM AWAY WITH ZERO ACCESS TO INTERNET AND STAYING IN THE LOOP FA AND BEING UNABLE TO DEFEND MY WORK AND ART!!! But any hoo. I have been caught up to speed on most important things, Biden being PotUS elect, Rona vaccine, Sean Connery, Alex Trebeck, and CHUCK FUCKING YEAGER!!!!! passing away and some other things of notice. Basic has been interesting to say the least, I got there and did really nothing except get taught Drill and Ceremony and Customs and Courtesies. Then they decided to pull me out of training over a paper work issue that resulted in me staying out of training for 55 days, then getting put back into training after my original class graduated. Im about 2/3s the way done with basic and have a few weeks left when I return and they will involve some of the harder aspects of training straining me MUCH more physically than I have been so far. But yeah, 2 weeks at home, get to relax, unwind, heal, and all then get to finish strong and be at my next training by February.

TODAY'S THE DAAAAAAAAAY
General | Posted 5 years agoToday, I grab my duffel bag, get in the car with my recruiter for the last time and get sent to the hotel, and begin my transition from civilian to solider. Know I'm not the most active poster normally with FA and that my art is more towards the bottom side of the scale but I'm still on nearly everyday looking at just how diverse and strong this place is. People from all over the world from the US, to Russia, Thailand, Austria, Australia, Canada, UK, Sweden and more all on one website. I hope that it continues to grow and prosper while I'm gone, I also hope that BCT will give me new ideas and thoughts on my own art and work and that I'm able to add new things to AJoIH and be able to flush out the beginning and be able to get some of the momentum going again. Take care of yourselves, be great people, accept each other, and to quote the immortal words of Bill and Ted
Be Excellent to Each Other, and Party On Dudes.
HOOAH!

Last Day at Home
General | Posted 5 years agoToday's my last day at home, making final preparations, going over my paperwork one last time, making sure all Ts are crossed and Is are dotted. Going out to Dinner at a local place with the family and my best friend. Making sure all my things are together and my clothes are washed. Getting picked up at 1430 tomorrow to go to the hotel and on the 8th, put on a flight outbound to Fort Leonardwood, Missouri.
ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!
General | Posted 5 years ago7 Days left until I get picked up from my house for the last time and stuffed onto a plane to Missouri. I will hopefully post one or 2 pieces before I leave to try and keep you guys entertained and I will today start editing my profile to show that I will be unavailable. As I have told my recruiters, probably the thing i dread the most about BCT is going to be Red Phase (and by the same logic Yellow Phase will be as bad as it seems to be a mix of new and Red). If you have ANY thing you want me to do before I leave NOW is the time for you to speak. Anything you wish to say, ask, or want me to do should be put down in the comments below.
2 Weeks Left
General | Posted 5 years agoI got 2 weeks left until I'm put on an all expense payed one way trip to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri with nothing but a notebook, stamps, and the clothes on my back and I wont leave until November where I'm put on another plane for Fort Sill, Oklahoma and come back home until December when we are given Holiday Break and only for a week or 2 until its right back to Fort Sill where I wont be free'd until sometime in February. So probably on the 5th or 6th I'll do a whole redo of my page to show I'm unavailable and that any comments, notes, or anything won't get a response until sometime in February of next year. I just want to take a moment to say "Thank You" to all those wonderful people out there who have commented on all my art and journals and that this great community will only grow stronger. HOOAH!
