So just saw mention of "HolyBeast Online" and i looked up some pictures of it. Semi interesting but looks a bit slow paced for me. Would anybodybody have any good furryish games that they would recommend? Mungyodance and Wolfteam were some good ones :) Then again a feral druid on WoW was pretty cool too :) Thoughts anybody? :) Just about any suggestions ideas or thoughts would be verrrrrry welcome. Ohh right! and movies too! For all of you i would like to recommend "Dog Soldiers" its got a humorist twist with a furry vide with the werewolves, a tad dark imho. but still kinda funny. I would also reccomend. Completely off the wall here, as its a feel good, semi action packed but not dull anime "hikaro no go" i think it was on cartoon netowrk at one point. However there was another on CN that i forget its name. Then again there was some also darker ones on CN or G4/TechTV called "silent mobius". i would call it a mind trip and its one to really make you think about you r stance on many things if you actually get into the characters. "Soul reaper" Ehhh one that just popped in there. Also similar stance to make you question your personality and stance on things. But perhaps a bit darker still than Silent mobius.

Thoughts? movies? Discuss? lets find us all some good movies to watch here! Also Avatar(the 3d version is insane if ya saw it in theatures), Short circuit, Back to the future, rescuers down under, "One stormy night" aka Arashi no Yoru ni.

So i had many reservations about finally make it to my first anime milwaukee despite not being able to or simply not getting my lazy fuzzy butt out to there. Pretty much all around the folks were cool there. was a pretty chillax atmosphere, the one night i was there i was like "wait hear that?" we dashed outa the room and the whole con was quite literaly howling(or at the very least yelling at the same time). This totally and completely blew my mind. Further it reminded me that before i found the wonderful furry fandom, i loved y anime's and this left me perplexed for the next hour or so. yes i come to the anime cons becuase they are 'simular' & accepting enough. but it really made me wonder which was my first love. I'd been watching anime music videos for years, Enjoying many fine animes from Inuyasha, Big O, outlaw star, full metal alchamest, dragaonball z (before it got wtf crazy) etc etc, Tenchi Muyo, various universes despite liking some more than others i did still enjoy them.


Anyhow all in all there was several pleasant surprises at AMKE2014. The peeps were pretty cools, i only talked to a few but ahhh were they good chats :) pretty much every last one left me thinking either "Shade you silly derp" or "omg i never thought of it that way" or "wow thats genius!" etc etc the various funny and quirky comments to folks getting or or waiting in elevators. shame i didn't have a camera becuase my memory simply doesn't do them justice.

Also after more than a years worth of deliberation with several furs. and semi spotty attendance, and input from various furs.
We've decided to have per Diem Furry Laff list meet. This Wensday (Tomarrow) Feb 2-19-14 at Alpine valley Hours likely to be 10am to 10PM Wens. I'l be ducking out sometime in the afternoon.

Amenities:
bar is enterance with ID over 21 only. But the cafeteria on the first floor is delicious! i've sampled most of their stuff. its fair to goods (unlike some places :) several delicious reasonably priced om noms in the $ to $$ range with a good sized menu of hot food etc to choose from (just ask for the burgers extra cooked- only thing). and if i remember right the resturant on the above floor also has a decent menu as well if ya fancy more than pizza corn dog hamburger, etc etc,


So prices: Mens (day only) ticket expires round 5:30-7pm ish ("if they call ya out on it") $29 lift ticket
rentals are seperate if ya need em. $27 So lift ticket & Snowboard or ski rental = $27(rental) & wensday mens rate $29 = $56 (+tax?)

Anyways to Keep it Breif. meetup there around 10 am tomarrow (~1hr travel time for most areas)

Trying to get a furry snow run going, perhaps a couple times a week or a few times a month, maybe like Saturdays & wensdays, and other days to be determined. Because i know its hard to get out. Wow its been a number of years now since a wonderful and cherished place has since past. An the funny thing is it pops into my mind every so often like a found childhood memory. Which it absolutely and totally is. were things like "Stay off the roof of the car you'l scratch the paint" and then the next time ya go its with a friends family and they say "why are you still inside and not on the roof?" or something like "just dont' hurt yourselves" are heard.

Honda did a commercial not about cars, but what every car loves going to, the cat sits back relaxes, stretchign its battery listening to the sounds and music and chitter chatter of the movies relaying in crisp sound quality over FM if theres no speakers left on the post by your car.

Ya get there early just before the sun sets, the weather is wonderful, doesn't matter what kind of day it was because the cool air rolls in from the hilly woods beside it bring a comfortable damp coolness. This ancient place has seen nearly every blockbuster hit since at least the 60's. The concession stands are somewhat bland but the entire place is covered in style, the sort of style that just doesn't go out. Yea its a bit more rustic. this and that falling apart this and that light don't work. But somehow even if ya nit pick about every little thing no one could ever pass up a chance to see a good movie there. the projector quality top notch, the movies enormous on its 80? ft wide screen.

Some one put up some pix of the old place, perhaps you can spot what i liked about it too? Then again it might be one of thoose things were ya just had to be there waiting at the concession stand between movies walking across that old tile floor with some popcorn, fries & gummie bears on the floor.

Second we have A fantastic new song by Adele i know a while back when she did her first song at the VMA after her vocal cord surgery many feared she had lost her beautiful voice. But this one She did for the new Bond movie Skyfall. the tones of the song are equally beautiful and its a brialliant vibrant song. Albeit it matches some of the slightly darker undertones of the Bond movie to which it was made for that the most recent Bond Skyfall. Whats equally remarkable is Adele matched the style and tones of some of the classic bond films with her style ^^
