Well the story is....for furries
General | Posted 13 years agoThis originally was a private note to some one. but i guess it kinda turned into a journal entry in all sense and effect.
{omitting all editing}
I loved your comment alot, its good to see the jornal entry hasn't been flamed yet. Needless to say its given me alot to think about not to mention thank you for the support sort to speak. I brings me hope and relief to see that not to many furries out there are shallow. But rather civil and forth right & forward thinking minded folk :)
Theres alot more to this than i can put to words atm as i;m a tad drunk and sleepy as heck. for now. this is turning into an excellent thread instead of a journal entry. Btw I'd really like to bump into you at a con some time. maybe buy ya a drink or 2 or few dozen... and converse on such things :)
In times of theese like theese days i think its important not to sellout who we are, or what matters. No matter what the cost other nations might be competing and pushing prices down with the equivalent of slave labor or whatnot. but as markets sway to and fro that which matters most to any one of any country cannot be changed, our hearts, our will, our desire to see things move forward, our will to do right, our will to do no wrong, our will to make sure its done right.
*hugs* best of wishes hope my drunkeness didn't seem a tad excess, but would like to chat with ya at a con sometime? ^^ Cioa!
Now i realize that even having a job in today's economy can simply be a major undertaking in itself. Its a tough battle to be valuable and stand out from the next guy (albeit the next might be lazier than you could ever know, etc etc) fudging of resumes etc is ridiculous. to have personally looked through a stack of some 200 resumes, learning to read between the lines again, to do so with a grain of salt for each and every one, to give them the benefit of the doubt. Makes me believe that we might be living in the era of entrepreneurs as that seems to be the way the country is headed for the foreseeable future. As the markets adjust to the worlds new "global economy" we aren't yet left in the dust. Perhaps even yet far from it, we have to advance and grab opertunities. make ourselves known. Personally i've observed over the many fields that i have encountered and had the pleasantries of bumping in with that most furries are quite suited for advancing themselves in the current economy. however some ahem *correction* many sell themselves short and give up to soon. They are there able to step up to the next level but do not adjust and make changes to do so.
Now please mind you that shade sir drunken self here should've edited this etc whatnot for context, grammar, syntax and general plot and point of contest but simply for now take this as a push for yourself to help YOU yourself. Do right, stand firm, stick to your morals albeit exceedingly hard to do.
Best of wishes! - Shade Ps: any contextual corrections appreciated (ya... sorry drunk)

An eyelifter oh my... :)
General | Posted 13 years agoSo albeit off my topic it in itself is kinda the same thing. Sconfig made a post here http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3324414/
To which got me thinking...
I'm not preaching here but I do simply and truthfully wish the best for all.
it kinda scratches the surface of a problem that some furs have on a daily basis. They struggle day in and day out but they are actually only struggling with themselves. They get exhausted and treat others with contempt, or lash out at other furs. On another topic i know that the first instinct of anyone when its hot out is to maim/dismember/kill/{censored}/etc which isn't the same. But my hope is that anyone reading this that might stop to take a look at whats really eating them. Not just the cynical ones. An perhaps just maybe try some things even if ya need to try a dozen things to help you. Anger/stress management could be a label put on those things. But theres things that bother everybody, troubles, issues, drama. some of it gets blown up out of nothing, sometimes its people just being petty or cruel.
But then there's also those golden moments where some one does something so easy or little or massively kind that just warms your heart or bring a literal tear of joy to your eye. That can make everything melt away albeit if only for a while or even weeks.
In short if everyone tried to better themselves, we can all be the happier for it.
I had alot more thoughts on this but i shouldn't be writing atm so I really do want to come back to this again and talk about it further. I won't dare mention any names simply becuase of the fact that i still respect every last one of them even when others won't give them the time of day. Why?
well in a nutshell many people it seems are misunderstood many taken at face value from a sentance or two and they get a label albeit often not spoken. now i'm not saying theres not truely rotten people out there without a trace of usefulness or kindness(which could be a whole rant of itself lol) But a few months ago i ended up hanging out with some one ya know not a dime to their name. originally i wanted to get as far away from them as i could becuase i thought they were going to be an absolutely horrible person to hang out with. But i kept my manners and learned several things from this person who i never thought would've had such a way with words to say the least. IT also reminded me that how you treat a person will also reflect how others treat you back.
I'm sorry if this post seemed dank dark and damp at times but i had to point out some of theese things becuase i think it is worth it for all in the end. *hugs all* ^^

Wow just so much to say! FC 2011 & Arashi no Yoru ni
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay for starters i've been dying to make so many posts but for recent events:
Do this, you MUST do it now because of its sheer epicness! Watch it you know your curious! and i PROMISE you won't be disapointed!
"Arashi no Yoru ni" (One Stormy Night) <--- anime movie with really good english dubs
In some fancy happenstance I ran across a music video for it, and had to watch the movie. WOA i really lack a proper word to descibe its spectacular awesomeness!
"Watch the moonrise" alternative ending video (spoilers, but very awesome & sweet)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsCHDWGvNu0
And the movie 1:43 (1h 43min)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQDe3DFv-Dw&feature=BF&list=PL9D3ED13FA7E69440&index=1
I would recomend this awesome movie to EVERYONE, set aside a 2 hour block with a friend or what not, by yourself even. it is such an INCREDIBLE movie!
Cons:
So its been mentioned a few times that people never know when the cons are or where. So i thus present this fins fuzzy resource known as encylopedia dramatica (nah jk no drama!)
http://en.wikifur.com
FC2011
Wow it really was spectacular things just to get me started 3am fursuit parade. Otto you, your boombox & music were beyond exceptional! Thanks Otto for adding that awesome soundtrack to the parade and keeping us entertained while we waited!
Food, ya i'm far from being any kind of food conyusour but i keep thinking about the awesome custard filled eau claire's that the pastry shop had. They were served chilled and they were spectacular!! I hear we will be at the same convention center that comiccon uses, and right now i'd have to say wherever we are moving to they are going to have some awfully high expectations to live up to! mmmmmmmmm HOT CHOCOLATE!
but really so many many things to list, Check out youtube for some, i hope the good stuff makes it up there!
Wow just so many awesome things to talk about! *squirms eagerly with anticipation of posting more thoughts!*

All while you avoid the "Nun Condensation" that is growing more Eskimo's by the million every day.
