I'm kinda confused now. Just as I thought, my halloween ych doesn't get everywatcher's interest. I mean, its.. fine? I don't really have any hope to sell YCHs in general anymore. The thing is.. there is some bids for slot 1, and still no bids for the male slot. And YCH is up to end this weekend. And I'm totally confused of what to do when this auction be finished and the 2nd slot still won't be bought. Can't say I have a lot of my own male characters (actually, I do, but I don't draw 'em that much). If I'd only knew a reason of why this slot is still open... ^^'
Is that because of a lot of reminders? (sorry, guys. Thats just a FA thing + a kind of artists competition.) Or is that because potential buyer wants to see finished or up-to-be-finished artwork to probably get interested? (the fun fact is.. it probably won't, because like.. the more details and work you put in your artwork - the less it takes someone else's interest. Paradox. 80\20 and 20\80 effect?) and... maybe the whole reason of the low interest is that its not nsfw? Like, I'm not interested in porn drawing in general.

Nice beginning of the August....

So, I have a lil'tiny-hella-great problem here. My Bamboo Pen CTL-460, for some ridiculous reason, lost the pen sensitivity. I've tried to restart it, to reinstall the driver, to reboot my pc, to change the pen tip... what else should I do?
And the funny thing is that wacom identifies the pen, even without the pen tip (wtf? O_o') but I can't do anything, even make a click with it. Does anyone knows this problem? whats the solution?

What a shame -_-' I've just wanned to open commissions and finish the commission I've started before the vacation, but.. I don't know what to do. I have no money, because of vacation and closed commissions... so I can't buy a new, even a cheap one, atm. +, as far as I know, Wacom has stopped any Bamboo support and production about the ages ago.

Yup... seems the vacation is over. It was cool. but HOT. just... you can literally die because of the sun. :c
But now I've got back to my snowy-coldy homeland, where I can finally hide of the sun and... continue my usual job, like drawing, smthtodoing, etcetc...

So I'm about to close commissions pretty soon.
I'm finally going on vacations this month, the airplane will be ready on 11 of June.
So here's the plan:
till the 7 of June - all the static art commissions are open. Soft shading, cg-painting, cell shading, sketches. SFW and NSFW.
from 7th till the 9 of June - only sketch and basic color commissions.


Next time I'll open commissions in August. :3

P.S. it would be better if I'd have smth digital to draw on, I could draw on vacation as well.. but I don't have even a notebook or pad.

Hey guys! <3 I'm doin' extra-s.o.s. commissions atm! (have some unexpected problems irl that needs to have some money). The thing is, we're goin' on vacations this summer. The place we're going to visit is Cyprus. And because of some unexpected reasons, we started all the planning this spring (kill meh T_T), the prices are now gone just incredibly up, so we've paid the hotel and tickets for june, but we still need to pay a bit more, because the standard room was taken a moment ago when we just wanned to take it xD so we took a bit much expensive one, but.. at least we'll have a sea side view..) and we already have the air-tickets to the Moscow and back.. The thing is - the money I was planning to spend on vacation, was moved to pay the hotel.... |"D and we still need to pay about $320 more... huh.. x_x
and thats just for one month, we still have July.. xD
So! Thats why commissions are OPEN. I'll do my best at quality and speed, the deadline is 1 of june (+ till the 10 of june if I'll need some more time). 50+ commissions are preferable, but you can take like.. 3 sketch portraits for 20, or 3-4 headshot portraits (can be any style, but price depends a bit on it), and you'll help me a lot! plus, I promise I'll be quick. Sketch\portraits will be done in a day or three.

so.. not just one thing happened lately, but a whole story.
My friend's (Darkenning) mother is really sick. And because she haven't told anyone where she is, what hospital she was going in, etc.. we didn't knew anything till the last week. I've been searching her over the whole town (k, city, if you like), but.. well.. I've found her. She's very sick. that's all I can say.. :'I
And.. because of some reasons, she couldn't say where her cat and home keys are, so it took some time to finally find' em and.. welp, I've managed to get in the apartments and get out with her cat. So.. the cat haven't ate anything for about 2 or 3 weeks.. I don't even know how she's still alive.. so I've worked hard on her, her fur, wounds and I hope she'll be fine now. Because she lives with us now, I hope Yuki (a new, white one) and Brissy (my meatball :3) will befriend with each other..)
the thing is... we're going on vacation with mom this summer, so I need to find a new home for both of them for a while |D I even made an improvised cat's tray for her, I hope she'll use it. XD even now, she seems pretty graceful, even though she's in shock..

Huhh.. tomorrow's gonna be a really hard day.. we also need to figure how to clean those apartments.. welp.. I have some time to sleep, so.. So yeah! Commissions are kinda paused\closed ATM, but I'm gonna open 'em asap, because I already need money, for vet, for vacation, for just everything..

An event happened in my life.
Because of this event, I can suddenly slow down the whole process for a bit. Although I'll try to be as fast as I can for now, but.. please don't worry if you won't see any art and commissions from me for a week or so.

So the reason is I kinda work on 3 fronts: FA watchers, discord, and russian watchers\friends.
So to think, I have to draw for.. uhh.. for 4-5 paid\almost paid commissioners from fa\discord, and 1 more for my russian friend..
and there's 3 of not-paid-yet commissioners as well..

So even though some of them are sketches, it might take some time, so I'm gonna close the commissions slots for now, untill I make at least a half of work.)

But there's one, really important thing that I want to say on this point.

The reason is simple: reminder is just a attention-hiring thing. It is supposed to help artists to sell their art, ychs, etc. by getting your attention and making you want to go to the original offer via link in description.
After some hours, reminders usually get deleted, to clear some space, or to be reuploaded, to make the first step and interest people.

That means, if you're gonna fave the reminder, not the ORIGINAL one - you're just gonna miss the whole offer, and you'll probably gonna forget about it. So you won't remember about it till you'll see it randomly in new uploading arts line.

Same thing with reposted artworks (like, when a commissioner uploads the art, leaves a link to the original artist's page and artwork in description, but the reuploaded one still gets even MORE faves than the original in the artist gallery.)

So. The best decision is just always fave the ORIGINAL one, in the original artist's page, in the gallery, on the original art post.
It'll definitely help you and artists to get more profit on their works.
