Now off the meme junk... Parents have a court day today to settle what they can't settle on their own and on who gets what. Regardless of what crap happens or what gets settled on I'm still stuck in the middle of their feud. Hopefully things will look up at some point between now and the actual trial.

I know I haven't been doing much updating or replying on comments or people who have watched me recently. I haven't been able to draw things nor have I been able to check up on my image archives (seems I'm also neglecting my deviantART account as I have not cross posted my recent images there yet). One reason for this is because I'm really having some ordeals with sleep. Another reason is I've been trying to understand what it is that is causing my hard drives to tell me that there is stuff on it one second then suddenly tell me there is nothing on it the next. Yet another reason is because of the events to be taking place this month and next month in real life with my family. And then there is the fact of me still trying to cope with the drama that had taken place on SecondLife and somehow leaked here to FA by a certain user to be left nameless. So just to get this out and across the board, I am not neglecting in responding to everyone who is either faving, commenting, and/or watching me here. As I say in my profile info, I do apologize if I don't acknowledge the comments, watches, and/or favorites you all have given me. I really do appreciate it regardless if I respond to it.

Lastly, forgive me about my last journal entry. I was honestly over emotional about the events that had taken place over SecondLife about former friends apparently wanting me to backstab other friends of mines who supposedly hurt them. In essence wanting to control me in who I can have as friends, which in my perspective is not something a friend should be able to do. I do understand that these friends of mines may have hurt other friends, but that doesn't really give them the right to force me to stop being friends with them. It's quite disrespectful to me really. So if you're wondering why I chose not to respond to the comments to that previous journal, it's because the journal was made with no thought to what being done. Quite possibly... the journal is against the TOS of FA as well which I suppose I'll leave up to the admins here to decide if it should go under debate on such. However there was another journal (not really the journal but the publishers comment to another users comment to their journal) that probably invoked me to post what I had posted previously in my journal here. The person did not use my username that I use here, however the person did use my SL name which is directly associated to me by my profile info at the top of my page here and is apparently used by some friends who had found me on FA through SL. So if these things do go under investigation of TOS violation, I would hope that the administrators also look into the other users journal. Yet again, because this problem originated from SL, I'll leave the username of the person I'm referring to as unknown.

To move off my emotional blabbering and back to the point of this journal, I want to make this journal to thank those who either commented, favorited, and/or watched me in the past month or however long it was that I have not been acting upon messages left to me here. I graciously appreciate you all.

...I'm really not having any luck with my laptop, I think recently it overheated. Either that or it knows I've been using a desktop that performs better at SL and FR than it that it decided to lock up. In any case, I came back up to check on some downloads I was doing and come to find they had indeed finished after several weeks of run time. However when I go to try to remove them, the cursor failed to move. I had felt the computer (close to the touch pad and just over the power button) and came to find that the computer was running really, really hot. So I go to take the battery out and the hard drive to let them cool down from the excess heat. Once cooled, I go to replace the hard drive back to where it goes and boot up the laptop. It boots like normal but once it passed the HP logo, it stayed blank for a longer than normal amount of time; I immediately knew something was wrong. The computer gave me a wonderous message 'Operating system not found.' so I turn off my laptop again and recheck the hard drive and its connection. Somehow, the contacts aren't meeting they way they normally do, which explained why it failed to load correctly. The major thing is, I'm not sure how the cover for the hard drive bay, the brace that allows easy removal of the hard drive from the bay, and the screw slots where the cover holds the hard drive in place by the brace got so misaligned to force the hard drive out of where it should be. Also, for some reason I think the one fan on the underside of the laptop might be failing to do what it should, that would be the only reason I could think of that could cause excessive heat over the power button apart from the probability of the duct being blocked by dust and such. I need a new computer -.- badly... but I highly doubt that would ever happen any time soon with the way things are for me...

Recently attained the video card (an MSI nVidia GeForce NX8400GS 512MB DDR2 PCI-E x16) I had purchased... thank goodness... I was thinking the store I bought it from would tell me the day I was supposed to get it that they were out of stock just to piss me off. But anyways, as weird as it may seem, I really think I'm not getting its full potential because I believe its meant for Windows Vista rather than Windows XP. Says its Direct-X 10 compliant which has nothing to do with Windows XP and also has no 'Designed for Windows XP' or anything of the sort logo on the box apart from a 'Certified for Windows Vista' logo. Suppose I won't really have anything to test it on until I stoop down and buy a computer with a Vista OS or hold out until 7 Releases (which should be soon if I'm not mistaken).

Well, a while ago a friend of mine sent me a video card to put into my desktop to better handle programs like Second Life but the fan wasn't all that good. I had accepted it solely because it's better than not trying anything. I think it was two days after agreeing. I had tried it out and it worked, significantly better but it sounded really horrid because of the fan, but I was told of this problem so I kinda had to deal with it until I could replace it. I had ordered a new replacement fan, and before it had come I had chosen to remove the old fan and clean around the GPU and the heatsink. Couple days later, I had gotten the fan and no sooner did I received it I had installed it onto the video card. However for some reason when I ran the card in the computer, it wouldn't display anything. I knew the card isn't causing any problems with the computer because I could hear that the computer was booting up as it normally does through my speakers. I think I might have shorted the thing while I was cleaning around the GPU.

On the bright side, this bad stuff got me looking online for a new video card and I had come across a pretty decent one that's a little better than the one provided by my friend. The one my friend gave me was an evga nVidia GeForce 7600GS 256MB PCI-E x16, and the one I had found is an MSI nVidia GeForce 8400GS 512MB PCI-E x16 (in new condition) with a final cost of USD45.45 (with shipping and no tax). Hopefully I will receive this card anytime between Tuesday and Thursday... hopefully. But I'm looking on the plus side right now and when I get the card it should run much better than the card provided by my friend and significantly better than the stock integrated card.

On another note, my stock laptop hard drive is completely shot. Totally inaccessible, and no longer reformat-able which is... kinda odd, but I guess not when considering when I listen to the thing I hear no arm reading data on the discs. Plus side I had bought a hard drive from Best Buy to replace my old one. Now I have more space than before (about 3.2 times more). Sad thing though was after a fresh reformat I had some kind of virus that stopped me from updating my computer though Windows Update (opened like a million windows and shut off my automatic updates... automatically). Reformatted again and so far things are looking as if they're okay. Hopefully I'll have no more problems for a while now. I'll probably jinx myself with that being said...

I'm having the most wonderous set of luck with my computers =\ First the custom built computer my brother made is having display issues. Then my desktop (Gateway) gets hi-jacked. Now my laptop isn't working because I do a virus scan only to get re-payed by the computer locking up, thus I might lose everything I had done recently, yet again. And to top it all off, my desktop (Gateway) is yet again infected somehow by the same virus I figured a full reformat would remove. I really should give up on computers in general if nothing will ever work for me -.-; I'm lucky to even be able to get online right now.

I really am hating the computers in my house. I mean really, unforgivably hating my computers. Some reason every single computer in my house is getting fucked up but my own laptop. I must be doing something right as I haven't had a virus in ages; which I suppose is a good thing but it sort of leaves me without experience in handling them on other computers =\ And irony would have it my other desktop computer (a Gateway) seems to have been infected with a very very similar virus that my Dell had a long while ago. I'm left dumbfounded on as whatever it is kills all programs upon normal boot up. I booted the thing up in safe mode and managed to run the virus scan but it did nothing to remove the infected files. As bad as it seems, I might have to once again revert to reformatting the thing to get rid of the problem. However I've talked with my brother who is far more computer savvy than I am and hopefully he may come up with some possible idea to avoid a complete reformat of the system.

Okay, so maybe more detail is needed. Mother got really bitchy about the new car just attained as a trade-in with the old '79 Monte Carlo. The cars title was down as hers and my fathers, yet she says that the car was under her name. Lie. I looked at the title of the car, and it was clearly under both. The only thing that was under her name was the insurance, but that was only because she renewed it so it would only say her name. Just because the insurance is under her name doesn't make the car hers, it has to say just her name on the title of the car. And now, the dealership apparently requires the signature of all persons listed on the title in order for things to be set. And, no surprise, my mother doesn't care. So the title transference to the dealership where the car was traded in at won't go through because my mother is being a total asshole about my father attaining a car that I can actually drive and can possibly get my license.

So now what? I have no clue. I've undergone so much stress this past month I can't even think straight. Looks like 2009 is going to be the worst year of my life. All this shit that has been going on has all started at the start of the year, she start not talking to anyone, not even me. Now goes into the divorce papers, the restraining order papers (that was new), singling out my father off the insurance for the cars, and now this crap. Ironic thing is by what my father tells me about the divorce papers and restraining order crap is that its mostly lies, saying something about my father hitting her or something like that. I know that's a lie cause they haven't talked to one another all year so far. Apparently there is a court date where I suppose the ordeal will be dealt with. I was told a while ago that my mother said that my father should seek marriage counseling, and at some point my father said that my mother should. By the way things are looking, I think they both should get marriage counseling. That's in my opinion the best option because a problem can't be resolved without both members of the marriage. Either way, if my mother does get her way, I will not go with her to where ever to escape this place where she'd rather not remember any event that had occurred. I'm old enough to make my own decisions on where I want to stay even though I am currently unemployed.

Eh, I can't think of anything else to say on the matter now. Whatever, I'm not going anywhere. If I lose ability to use the internet, then my life will be totally screwed as everything now-and-days kind of require use of internet.

Good News
- Fridge has been replaced with a new one. The old one was somewhere around 10... 15 years old and survived somewhere around 1600 miles of travel from LA (CA), to San Francisco (CA), to Dayton (OH).
- Television lamp has been replaced and now works as it should.

Bad News
- Television light engine has gone bad and the only color that shows up is green.
- My custom built computer isn't displaying things as it should. Not even on a normal monitor. Also my laptop is also having its own share of problems. Some time ago it just shut off with no reason whatsoever and I couldn't get it back on for roughly 30 minutes. I assume it overheated or something.
- Lastly, this is the more personal ordeal, my mother has decided to file for divorce with my father. So I am uncertain but I'm fairly sure that could mean I could lose many things, such as cable, internet, and possibly even where I live.

Well... my break from SL is long and agonizing. I think I'll actually make my return finally after roughly 48 hours of not being on. That may not seem like a long time, but compared to how long I've been on SL, its well worth it.

Let me change the wording of this entry to make it seem like I'm going totally out of my mind like I may plan to kill myself or something.

Things have truly been going downhill on Second Life because of one user. I've been feeling less and less accepted while on there ever since what had happened to Furnation Worlds there. Now suddenly I'm suspected to be a traitor just because I have been believed to make a threat that I am going to leave my home on Second Life if one person gets banned. Don't know what dumb shit thought that up but even the land owner of my home on SL knows I've been known to say things about leaving the simulator. Now, because of some feud between some other people I'm thought of as a traitor, a criminal, a hater, whatever. Because of all this crap that is going on, I've been now making the threat that I'll probably leave SL altogether just because of one person who suspects me to a heinous traitor.

If there is anything positive to possibly come from me not ever seeing SL ever again, my computer won't be doomed to die of overheating/video card failure. At which point all access to the internet and my drawings will stop completely.

Thank you for your time and I hope this doesn't bother or eat up anyone's invaluable time reading up on bogus shit about some guy you all probably don't care much about anyways.

2) Let me respond before using it.
3) I really don't like allowing others use art that I have done for others asides the intended person the drawing/art piece was for. So what does that mean? If I said that an image was/is gift art, commission work, trade, or whatever; I'd expect that to be respected. Plus the AUP of FA says similarly.

Why do I bring this up? Someone asked me if they could use something of mines for something of theirs.

Was trying to reinstall Windows Live, that package that installs a bunch of other things dealing with Windows Live for some reason decided to have fun with my computer and crashed it... causing me to lose everything. I had another image colored, but since I wasn't really expecting to crash I had no backups. I'm beginning to think my computer is a worthless piece of shit....

I tag... eh... don't care.

Just tried out getting onto SL on my Gateway computer and I it seems I can get onto it, however it has to be at minimum settings to do so. Most of the settings aren't even accessible so I don't get to see glow or shine anymore. Sucks...

Asides that... check it, 100 submissions. Dunno if thats a milestone for me or what. meh...

There's a miracle, I finally got the box to get my damn laptop repaired. It only took them a month to do what HP did in two days. Now that my laptop is off getting sent off to Austin, Texas I probably won't have SecondLife for about 2 weeks now because of the repairs that is needed to get my computers wifi capabilities back in working order. Now, of course the laptop isn't my only computer but its the only computer that isn't an asshole when it comes to the programs that I commonly run on it.

So lets see, where to start, I have a Dell computer that's possibly about 5 years old and I know it can hardly run videos decently; so that computer is out of the question.

Then I have a Gateway (what I am on currently) and I know how it handles things like SecondLife. Winds up suffering a serious error that restarts the computer instantaneously; also turns out that it doesn't like Winamp's Nullsoft visualization plugin as it has the same result and now it seems that my external 500GB hard drive is experiencing problems because I was just watching a movie which ended up acting odd (going black and going to a resolution of probably 6000x3000 or something like that). I don't know what the fuck is wrong with this damn computer; I just lost about 2 hours of coloring work on a portion of the image I recently submitted just because this problem the computer is having with videos. So now I'm going to take a break from coloring the thing until I cool off

Lastly, I have a custom built computer that my brother made and it does okay however it is really lacking in the V-RAM area so when I run SecondLife, it occasionally goes black or the video just stops (like a lock down or something). I'm assuming the video card is shutting down; however sometimes it works fine, so I really don't understand what is up with the thing.

eh... Don't know how many people even care anymore honestly. I think I lost a friend because of the friends I had made on SecondLife when I couldn't get to see him because a certain person in my family when ape-s on him... *sighs*

More on my happy computer ordeal. It has been over two weeks since I recontacted CompUSA (which I guess is TigerDirect now or something) and I'm getting really pissed at them as it seems that they're waiting for my warranty that cost me $140 dwindles to nothing (which is in just 4 days now until it expires) while I sit waiting for roughly two to three weeks for them to get off their lazy asses and send me a stupid box so I can get my computer fixed. But NOOOO... the dumbasses have yet to do so and they say that it should be sent in two days (which would be by Monday now according to business oriented delivery through services like FedEx, UPS, and possibly DHL. It turns out I may actually have to resort to sending my computer off to HP to get it repaired and hopefully it should be covered by them because its a problem with their computers and is not my fault which I happen to like to get the point across that I take damn good care of my computer (even though I tend to push its performance to its limits by using programs that I don't even meet minimum system requirements for... such as SecondLife). One way or another, I'm going to be ticked at both companies but as long as my computer gets fixed and is capable of detecting its Wi-fi card like it should I won't be too pissed.

[EDIT-IN] Just realized I posted a portion of the journal that is completely irrelevant to my FA as I clearly do not have 200 submissions.
