well, a long list of updates in the five years since my last journal. mostly good, I have a niece and a second nephew now. I've moved from NC down to Florida, and gotten fairly settled in here. I work at a toy store, with some pretty friggin awesome people, and am enjoying that quite a bit. while my writing of all sorts has gone down, i try and at least keep the imagination working, even if whatever pops into my head won't necessarily get used or even written down anywhere :P

now for the bad I guess... about two years ago right around my birthday I lost my grandmother on my mom's side, she lived a long life and simply faded mentally before she passed away in her sleep after a long fight with Alzheimer's. My grandmother on my father's side had a bit of heart trouble of her own, but on the bright side of that she now has a shiny new pace maker and is doing much better physically.

Mentally nor physically are the members of my family smiling today, as my grandmother as outlived her oldest son. My father passed this afternoon after a shocking heart attack that has nearly leveled all of us. The doctors were fantastic and did everything they could, dad was just too far gone. We of course grieve for his loss in our lives, but we still hold out hope my father's voice has NOT joined the angel's choir, as he was tone deaf as all get out in life and admitted as such often enough.

I would like to thank all those who comment their condolences and well wishes ahead of time, as I will probably not be updating again for a long while to come. Part of this is the fact my family needs time to heal, the other reason is in part many of the FA artists i watch have moved on to new accounts and it's been so long since i actually read anyone's journals here, I've long since lost track of them sadly and therefore i don't visit as often.

As of 1:55 PM Eastern Standard Time, i'm offically Uncle Shadow to an 8 pound 10 oz, 20 inch big, healthy baby boy mother and baby are at home.

to all artists who watch me, i hope that you know me well enough to listen to what i have to say even though i haven't posted anything lately.

 razielle69 is in need of some help, she's fallen on rough times as have alot of others, and is being harassed by an artist called Tuqiri who is spreading what i know to be lies about her.

She's a great artist and a good friend to me, if i could afford any commissions right now she'd be my first choice of artists to go to.

I hope the artists who see this will believe me and leave at the very least a kind word with her, and if at all possible a commission.

My older brother is having a boy, which means come some time in september or earlier i will have a nephew. hope and pray all goes well.

My brother and his wife are having their first child sometime this summer, its finally out and the entire family knows so i can do what i want with the information now. It's great that my parents will spoil the kid and i get to scare him like my uncles did with me and him.

some have said its a scary thought of me as an uncle, but more terrifying to think of me as a father, who knows we may find out someday.

i hit a deer this evening, busted my turn signal on the driver's side but so far nothing more then that.

the deer was killed with a mercy shot to the neck and taken to someone to do something with.

she was small and apperently as stubborn as the wolf that hit her with his car.
