Still Kicking Around
General | Posted 13 years agoJust making a journal for the sake of not having a nine month old one on my main page. XD
Had a birthday a week ago, so I'm 24 now. Not an old coon yet, but I'm one year closer!
F5 for a new icon made from an amazing picture
drew for me that I will get around to uploading soon.
Make sure to donate towards
's Suicide Bunnies portfolio project (or pick one up once it comes out). More info about that can be found here.
And feel free to scoop up a commission from
(info available here).
Not much else to report, I reckon. I hope you're all well!

Artist Pimping: Tofu-Panuki
General | Posted 13 years agoI don't pimp artists nearly as much as I should, so let's make up for missed opportunities with a really phenomenal one.
If you've never heard of or just aren't currently watching
tofu-panuki, do yourself a favor and fix that RIGHT NOW.
I remember him from many years ago as yaoi-bear on DA and he was actually the very first artist I ever ordered anything from. <3
Now for the real 'pimping' part: He's currently taking commissions and I can personally vouch for the quality of his work. He is truly amazing~
For his prices and examples, please go here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3150867/

Bi Coon?
General | Posted 14 years agoJust a fair warning, as I've yet to say it: there will eventually be art that involves Coon doing adult things with females.
I don't know when this will happen, but it eventually will, and I just want folks to be aware. XD

Flood Complete
General | Posted 14 years agoI know I gave fair warning about it on Twitter, but not here, so I just want to apologize for the mini-flood of uploads this evening.
However, I'm done with it and I probably won't have anything else to upload for awhile. I hope you guys enjoy the content, though! :3

Anyone not use Gaia Online anymore?
General | Posted 14 years agoFinally knocking that eight month old journal off my front page~
Basically, I'm hanging out there a little bit once more after a long hiatus~ Feel free to make fun of me; I deserve it. XD
If you don't go on there anymore and don't want your old stuff, feel free to send any of it my way. I'm Shadow Coon II on there. *nods* I'm a big homo for outfit-making stuff, so I'll find a use for things. :3

I'm Officially 22
General | Posted 15 years agoI've survived another year and I need to figure out which stats to increase for this level gain. *rubs his chin and ponders*
Fursona Rating Meme/Survey/Thing
General | Posted 15 years agoSnatched from... well, pretty much everyone I'm watching. This thing spread FAST. I do believe that the first person I saw submit it in my New Journals inbox was
1. What do you think my character would have a job/career in?
2. What is unique about my character that you enjoy?
3. What are his/her flaws?
4. What are some changes you would like to see?
5. What would you like to see my character doing in future pictures?
6. How old does my character look?
7. On a scale of 1-10, how attractive is my character?
8. On a scale to 1-10, how sexually attractive is my character?
9. On a scale to 1-10, how well does my character fit me?
10. If you could, how would you personally change him to fit me better?

==================
Comment on this journal, and I will...
1. Tell you something I'll learn about you by looking at your FA page for 13 seconds.
2. Tell you which color you remind me of.
3. Tell you my first memory of you.
4. Tell you what pokemon you remind me of.
5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you, and your answer has to be as vague as possible to keep the suspense.
6. Tell you my favorite thing about you.
7. Give you a weird nickname
8. Tell you what's on my shirt right now.
9. Challenge you to post this on your journal.
==================
(Other than this survey, I really have nothing much to update on. I apologize for the sudden art flood the other day, but I really appreciate the response/feedback to it. Also, I had a REALLY awesome day today. I just felt like sharing that. <3)

WHEEEEE!
General | Posted 15 years agoAs of this morning, I FINALLY have my Driver's License.
I'm 21 and I know I should have had it by now, but... I put it off.
However, I've earned it now, and I couldn't be happier! *jumps around* x3

Fetish Survey/Meme/Thingiemabob
General | Posted 15 years agoI don't remember who I took this from, actually. I copied it earlier and filled it out in Notepad~
I will likely make another journal shortly after this one to knock it off of my main page. :3
================
Anal on Males
Yep.
Anal on Females
Eh, not so much.
Breasts
Aesthetically, boobs are appealing, but not in a fetish sense for me.
Breast Expansion
Not really interested in it.
Weight Gain
To an extent. Seeing a guy go from being really thin to being fairly pudgy could be fun.
Bondage
I'm interested in more mild versions of it, in comparison to what bondage can entail.
Clothing
Depends entirely upon what's being worn. Lingerie, uniforms, 'geek-wear,' among other things can be nice. I have a pretty strong underwear fetish, too. :3
Leather
Isn't this kind of like a sub-sect of bondage? In any case, my interest in it's merely mild.
Stockings
I do have a thing for stockings, yes.
Shoe/Boots
Not really a fetish for me.
Suit and Tie
Oh god, yes. This definitely counts as a fetish for me. <3
Muscle, Male
Eh, again, it's a 'to an extent/it depends' thing. I like musclechubs and muscle definition on certain characters is nice to me, but I really am mostly attracted to the 'chubby' body type, so most muscle elicits a 'neutral' or 'too much; fucking gross' reaction from me.
Muscle, Female
I know this is going to sound sexist, but I don't think women look that great with more than bare minimum muscle definition, especially when it gets to the point that they look REALLY masculine (or hyper-muscled, but that's a given).
Herm
I'm not even vaguely interested in herms. In fact, they're a pretty big turn-off.
Cub/Shota
It's not really my thing, no.
Baby/Diaper
Not interested in it.
Transformation
I think it's cool to see, but I don't consider it sexually appealing.
Macro/Micro
I can only see this as being humorous, but, again, not sexual.
Impregnation
What constitutes impregnation in art? I've seen people label pictures as that and it's just a female with a cock in her vagina and semen dribbling out. If THAT'S what it is, then I fall somewhere between 'indifferent' and 'I think this is slightly arousing,' but that's more so because I find reaching orgasm inside someone to be a good thing. *shrugs*
Pregnancy
NO. :C
Lactation
*shudders* No.
Anal Vore
Blech. Nope.
Soul Vore
What the Jumping Jesus Christ is 'soul vore?'
Cock Vore
Noooope. Reminds me of a humorous version of sounding, the prospect of which I find pain-inducing.
Standard Soft Vore
I don't understand how vore is sexually attractive, regardless of 'level.'
Standard Hard Vore
As I said with 'soft,' I just don't get it. What do people find arousing about being eaten and digested?
Paw/Foot
I like hands (not fetish level), but I'm rather 'meh' about feet. For the most part, they kind of gross me out a little bit... which is strange because I actually enjoy giving people massages that include foot-rubs.
Incest
In real life, this is 99.999999% repulsive, but, when it comes to furry art, I admit I've found many incest pairing pieces to be hot, so long as every character involved is/looks to be an adult.
Clonecest
I'm a huge proponent of clonecest. In fact, I can think of many characters I'd be interested in seeing messing around with clones of themselves.
Yuri (F/F)
Not interested. However, lesbians are cool. :3
Yaoi (M/M)
It would be silly for me to be gay and dislike gay sex. If this actually refers to the whole 'manga/anime' yaoi stuff, though, I'm very particular. Most yaoi involves twinky characters that might as well be flat-chested women diddling each other. In those cases, I roll my eyes and look for the bara-yaoi.
Hetero (M/F)
For the most part, I'm indifferent, but I've definitely run across some M/F pieces that I found to be insanely nice. :3
Girly Boys
Eh, not a big fan of girly boys nowadays, no.
Butch Girls
Butch girls are awesome. xD
Mind Control
I've found a few mind control pieces arousing before. I guess it depends on how its drawn.
Rape
I'm not big on rape stuff, I'm afraid.
Uniform
Yesssss. <3
Orgy
Depends on this size of it and who the characters involved are. It doesn't rank high on my fetish list, but it's there, I suppose.
Subbing/Domming
I'm quite into this, yes.
Biting
To an extent. When it begins to border on gore, I lose interests.
Solo Masturbation; Male
Yep. :3
Solo Masturbation; Female
Eh, not really. May depend on the character?
Scat
kdfjkjdsfljkdsjfk NO. Nononononononono- *continues forever* 8C
Inflation
It's funny to me, but not really sexual.
Fat/Pudge
My interest in chubby/pudgy guys really does qualify as a fetish. Oh, yes it does. <3 I do have my limit, though. I'm not into the 'excessive fatfur/slobfat' stuff at all (but I mean no offense to those who are).
Tech
Very, very, VERY mildly. I do fancy the idea of seeing characters utilizing technology for sexual gratification.
Watersports
Er, no thank you.
Glasses
Yep. Men in glasses are hot. Particularly chubby men in glasses. Mmmm.
Tentacles
Eh, no.
Oviposition
Nooooooo.
Masochism
Nope.
Sadism
Not really.
Partial Nudity
Oh, yes. Seriously: imagine a picture of a fellow slipping his shirt off and let your eyes follow his treasure trail all the way down to... the elastic band of his briefs. How is that -not- sexy? ;3
Gore
I like gore, but not even vaguely sexually.
Snuff
Again: no.
Hyper
Hyper is funny as hell to me, but, no, I don't find it even slightly arousing. Like I've said with some other stuff, it's more of a boner-kill for me.
Zoophilia
Not at all.
Electricity
I'm shocked that such a fetish exists! :D *gets punched in the face*
She-males
... What's the difference between a she-male and a herm? Regardless, no, it's a complete turn-off.
Cross-dressing
Super mildly. A fellow in stockings, panties, and maybe a garter belt? Perhaps a skirt? That can be hot. Just about everything else? Not so much.
Oral
I find oral extremely arousing, even when it comes to straight material, actually. Seeing a guy fingering a female doesn't interest me at all, but it's likely I'd look if he were giving her oral. It's just... nice. I've got a bit of an oral fixation. <3
Asphyxiation
A million times NO. Sorry. :c
Wet-look
Like... people that appear to be damp? Shower sex and whatnot? To an extent, yes. It makes me think of people being clean and I'm a hygiene buff, so... :3
Mud/Quicksand etc
... What? No.
Sinking
Um, no. o_O;
Spooge
As long as it's not TOO excessive, I find it hot, yes.
Tickling
I can't regard tickling as sexual, I'm afraid. xD
Vomit
FFF. NO. Freaking gross. D:
Body hair
I actually like certain types of body hair to the point some might regard it as a fetish. A nice tuft of chest hair, treasure trails, and so on... I like to pet the stuff a lot, so I enjoy it. There is such thing as 'too much,' though.
Older men/women
I like age gaps, yes. <3
Skinny figure
I'm not particularly interested in skinny characters, no.
Needles/pricking
I don't like needles, so... no. x3
I will likely make another journal shortly after this one to knock it off of my main page. :3

Tablet Use Envy
General | Posted 15 years agoI have it. x3
I can't use a tablet properly to save my life, despite having had one for a handful of years now. It's an incredibly useful little gadget and I do use it for all of my digital work, but not in the way most do. I can't seem to get a hang of that whole 'flick of the wrist to do a line and CTRL+Z if I mess up' bit. I end up spending five minutes on one line before I end up giving up on it.
I occasionally get complimented on the smooth lines in my finished pieces, but let me admit upfront that that credit truly goes to the magic of Vector Layers in SAI. It's probably the most tedious method of doing lineart ever, but, in my opinion, it's relatively efficient when you have little to no tablet skills.
For reference of how well I can lines solo with the tablet, just look at my little doodle-comics. That's it. Awesome, right? XD
Okay, getting back to work~ I should have something fun to upload later today... :3c

Eziel's Contest and Nostalgia of Sorts
General | Posted 15 years ago
eziel is holding a contest over here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1559718/Make sure to check it out (read the rules carefully!) and enter if you feel like it. :3
That aside (and I KNOW this is stupidly random), does anyone remember that old Oreo cereal? It was so. freaking. tasty. The level of sugar in it had to have been INSANE. It hasn't been around for YEARS and I've had the most ridiculous craving for it for about... eight months now. XD
Sometimes, I think I need help. x3
Bumping That Previous Journal
General | Posted 15 years agoIt was stretching my page down longer than I'd have liked, so this should get rid of it.
However, I don't like the idea of making a journal without a purpose, so I'll ask a question: who is/are your favorite furry/kemono artist(s) and why?
Feel free to link to a piece of theirs that you like the most. :3

'Bored' Survey
General | Posted 15 years agoSnatched from
1. First thing you wash in the shower?
My hair, of course.
2. What color is your favorite hoodie?
Black, I think.
3. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?
Most certainly.
4. Do you plan outfits?
Not really. I have a general idea of what I'll wear, but never specifically select anything.
5. How are you feeling RIGHT now?
Cool (temp-wise), a little horny, and a teensy bit tired (it takes me forever to completely stop feeling groggy in the mornings).
6. What's the closest thing to you that's red?
A Dr. Pepper can on my desk.
7. Tell me about the last dream you remember having?
TMI, but: a very adult dream involving me being an "under the desk" secretary for a naughty-librarian version of
. Eventually it ended up with me getting topped and
catching us because he got locked in the library on accident. XD
8. Did you meet anybody new today?
Hmm... Nope. I did last night, though!
9. What are you craving right now?
a wee wee and a donut.
hmm a weewee inside a donut :O
(^ This was Gazpacho's answer and I'm taking it because... well, he caused me to crave it. Dang it. ><)
10. Do you floss?
Every day. I'm very aggressive about my personal hygiene.
11. What comes to mind when I say cabbage?
'Ew. I prefer lettuce.'
12. Are you emotional?
Not outlandishly so, but, yes, I am an emotional person (to a degree).
13. Have you ever counted to 1,000?
Nope. Never had a reason to.
14. Do you bite into your ice cream or just lick it?
I prefer to just lick it. Biting into it hurts my teeth.
15. Do you like your hair?
Yes, actually. It's rather long and a little thick. A benefit of my Mexican genes. x3
16. Do you like yourself?
For the most part, yes. If you'd asked me this question about a year ago, my answer would have been quite different, though.
17. Would you go out to eat with George W. Bush?
Um, no. :x
18. What are you listening to right now?
The hum of a Vornado fan across the room.
19. Are your parents strict?
Both of my parents are dead, so... no? XD
20. Would you go sky diving?
Hell no. I'm terrified of heights. D8
21. Do you like cottage cheese?
I can't remember ever having had it.
22. Have you ever met a celebrity?
I met Jason David Frank (Tommy from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers) years ago!
23. Do you rent movies often?
In a sense, yes. We get movies from Netflix~
24. Is there anything sparkly in the room you're in?
I think some of the dice across the room are sparkly.
25. How many countries have you visited?
I've never been outside of the state of Texas even once in my life. I wish I could visit other countries someday, though.
26. Have you made a prank phone call?
Yep~
27. Ever been on a train?
Once, when I was very young. *nod*
28. Brown or white eggs?
White.

Most likely just
34. Are you too forgiving?
Unfortunately, yes. I'm a very non-confrontational person, so I'll let things slide and forgive, even when I really shouldn't. All of my friends are mutual friends, so, if I get into a tiff with one, I'd have to worry about that person trying to start shit and that's something I'd just rather avoid.
35. Ever been in love?
Most certainly. I am at this moment, in fact.
36. What is your best friend(s) doing tomorrow (or the next soonest week day)?
Most likely just staying at home and watching television/reading fanfictions. She doesn't like being very social.
37. Ever have cream puffs?
Nope.

When I went to see Toy Story 3 on Sunday. ;_;
39. What was the last question you asked?
I'm constantly asking questions, so I really don't remember.
40. Favorite time of the year?
Winter! I love the colder times of the year. If I could walk around naked all of the time, it's likely that my love for summer and winter would tie, though.

Nope. Maybe someday.
42. Are you sarcastic?
Oh yes.
43. Have you ever seen The Butterfly Effect?
Parts of it.
44. Ever walked into a wall?

45. Favorite color(s)?
Purple.
46. Have you ever slapped someone?
Yep.
47. Is your hair curly?
Not at all.
48. What was the last CD you bought?
I believe that the last CD I purchased was the soundtrack for The Producers SEVERAL years ago. I think I was still in high school, in fact.
49. Do looks matter?
In what regard? When it comes to dating or having sex with someone, physical attraction is a necessity, but, as cliche as it sounds, personality is the thing I'm most concerned about. If someone has a genuinely amazing personality, then their appearance is a low priority. I find that, quite often anyway, someone who is awesome will generally appear far more physically attractive to me because of it. *shrugs*
50. Could you ever forgive a cheater?
Two things will make me break up with someone: being abusive (physically and/or mentally) and cheating. So... no.
51. Is your phone bill sky high?
I don't think so.
52. Do you like your life right now?
I could be doing better, but I could be doing much worse. I'm... content.

Nope. The noise would make it hard for me to sleep.

Of course. I prefer it.

56. Do you hate or dislike more than 3 people?
I believe the number of people that fit that criteria IS three.

58. The last person you held hands with?
Pockets!
59. What are you wearing?
A baggy white tshirt, loose black pajama pants, my glasses, and navy blue briefs.

Raccoons~ <3
61. Where was your favorite picture taken at?

A video game, I believe.

7. Tell me about the last dream you remember having?

. Eventually it ended up with me getting topped and
catching us because he got locked in the library on accident. XD8.

The hum of a Vornado fan across the room.

26. Have you made a prank phone call?
Yep~
27. Ever been on a train?
Once, when I was very young. *nod*
28. Brown or white eggs?
White.
29. Do you have a cell-phone?
Yep!
30. Do you use chap stick?
Nope.
31. Do you own a gun?
I do not.
32. Can you use chop sticks?

Advertising Amazing Artists
General | Posted 15 years agoI felt like knocking that silly "controversial" (i.e. not particularly controversial at all) journal off my front page, but couldn't think of anything specific to talk about, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to plug some of my favorite artists, a number of which aren't given nearly as much attention as they certainly warrant.
Bravo - Now, I know Bravo's a rather well-known fellow here in the fandom, but I'm of the personal opinion that he doesn't have anywhere near as many watchers and whatnot as he should. This is a guy who has quite frankly mastered the art of illustrating the realistic chubby male body type, an ability that is, in my opinion, severely undervalued. I've been a huge fan of his work for years and there isn't anything about it that I don't both adore and admire. I don't mean to sound like I'm kissing ass, but he is, simply put, fucking amazing. I'm one of the pickiest people in the world when it comes to art and I've used sketches from this guy as desktop backgrounds. I think anyone who isn't watching him is out of their freaking mind.
rockgaara - Anyone who's been watching me for awhile knows that I'm absolutely enamored with this artist's style and I just feel that not as many people know her as they should. She does EXCELLENT TMNT work (her gallery does contain a very large amount of 'Turtlecest' work, as a warning for those who may not be into that for whatever reason) and her original characters are quite fleshed-out themselves. Gotta adore Radio. <3 Overall, she's insanely talented and, might I add, a sweet and wonderful friend as well.
tanukisan - Oh noes, it is the root of all evil! <:3c I kid, of course. I've sat here for several minutes trying to figure out how best to describe his work and what it is that I like so much about it, but I don't think anything I could say would really do it justice. He has an impeccably adorable style, his usage of watercolors is quite impressive, and you can tell that he really puts himself into his work to a degree that's astonishing. He's very devoted to his craft and, as time goes on, he's only getting better and better. This is yet another artist who gives the chubby/fat folks some serious love, which may not be for everyone, but is something I appreciate to a fair degree.
decker - I actually learned about Decker through Tanuki back when he used a different handle, but I'm surprised that I didn't already have his current account or his previous one on my watch. Yet again, I find it hard to truly describe his style. It's like a fun, cute comic-meets-modern-animation thing. This fellow doesn't have a ton of work in his gallery at the moment, but I'm hoping that changes very soon. He's VERY talented, to say the least. Holy crap. <3
kokuhane - Like Bravo and RockGaara, Koku has a rather significant number of watchers, but I still feel like he's not getting the amount of praise and interest that he deserves. His style I would best describe as very heavily anime-inspired, but perhaps much closer to the 'kemono' furry type that a lot of people really enjoy. What I like about him in particular is that while it's obvious he really specializes in characters of muscular build, he's capable of handling an array of body types without issue. Not to mention that his skill with watercolors goes above and beyond 'admirable.' (If you look back through his gallery, be prepared to be blown away by it. Holy fuckballs.) In fact, Koku's just one of those artists that can do traditional and digital work amazingly, which I respect.
superslickslasher - Though this account is fairly new, I've actually been watching this fellow for a handful of YEARS now because he went by a different name before. Pardon my language, but: this guy knows his shit (no, I'm not talking about scat. Ew. D:). Seriously. He seems to have a very strong grasp on anatomy, so everything he does, even if it's just a sketch, will knock you flat on your ass. You don't have to take my word for it - just click the icon and you'll see.
tofu-panuki - Interesting tidbit: the first piece of art I ever commissioned (or even REQUESTED) was from this artist simply because of how much I loved his work. I know I said 'loved,' but that doesn't mean that my adoration of his talent has faded over time by any means. If anything, I've only become an even bigger fan as the years have gone on. He's another one of these artists that I enjoy a lot based on their ability to depict realistically-shaped bodies. He's very good at what he does and the fact that he doesn't get as much love as he should for it is relatively disheartening.

General | Posted 15 years agoSnatched from
because I'm bored.
[01] Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as The Controversial Survey?
I think the fact that this is here answers that question.
[02] Would you do meth if it was legalized?
Nope. My interest in drugs borders on nonexistent.
[03] Abortion: for or against it?
I'm most definitely pro-choice. If I could get pregnant, I'd want that option. D:
[04] Do you think a country would fail with a female president?
No more so than I think it would under male leadership.
[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
Under certain circumstances, yes.
[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Whether or not it was legal would have no real effect on my life, so I'm honestly not sure how to answer that question. I'm aware of some people who smoke it on occasion and I guess I'd be down with the idea of them not being hauled off to jail someday for Possession. *shrugs*
[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
Technically, I can't get married legally and I have sex, so I'd say that that's a big 'for.' Sexual compatibility is really important and I think it'd be awful to marry someone and suddenly discover that things in the bedroom won't ever work because you're two different people in that regard. Hell, I'm fine with people fucking on the first date if that's what they want to do. Sex is sex.
[08] Do you believe in God?
No, not really. I'm one of those allegedly 'silly' Agnostic people.
[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Or all benefits and legal standing of "traditional" marriage should be stripped. I'd like the legalization of same-sex marriage first and foremost, but, if we can't get that, I'd just like equality.
[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
I will say that I'm Mexican-American and I'm pretty sure my dad got to the US by floating across the Rio Grande on a door, but I still think going through the proper legal channels before immigrating here would be best... If only to avoid legal troubles later on.
[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
Absolutely not. A child cannot properly raise a child and I find myself astounded that there are people out there who encourage anyone to think otherwise. Given the fact that girls at 12 are typically very small, I would say that going the abortion route would be the best course of action. They can try for a child again once they're physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially capable of handling the situation.
[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
I honestly don't think it'd make a difference whether they lowered it or not. Anyone interested in drinking at 18 is doing it anyway; it's just that they're not all going out to bars to see if they can get away with it. I really don't care.
[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
I say yes, but I don't really know jack shit about the military and how difficult it is to just get everyone out of there without making the situation more hostile than it already is.
[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
I don't know if I'd say I agree with it being illegal, but I can certainly see why it is. I think the rate of assisted suicides provided by individuals who are going to inherit very significant funds/property from the 'assisted' would drastically increase if it became okay to assist someone with ending their lives. Greed can encourage people to do very nasty things, including putting rich old grandma down when she sprains her ankle.
[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
Spanking? Yes. Beating the shit out of your kids? Not really. Physical discipline has its place in raising children. I can honestly say that kids who receive it in reasonable doses are infinitely more well-behaved than those who receive it in excess or not at all.
[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
That depends: would I still face heavy fines and/or jail time for incinerating a scrap of fabric? If I wasn't risking my freedom for the cash, I'd do it without hesitation. One million dollars will be far more useful to me than some symbolism.
[17] Who do you think would have made a better president? McCain or Obama?
Obama. He's doing the best that he can, given the circumstances. Besides, with McCain you faced the possibility that he would die and leave Sarah Palin at the helm.
[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
I think there's a possibility that someone following me could take offense to some of my answers, but I truly don't care. These are just my opinions. :3

As Of Late, I've Had An Usual Urge To...
General | Posted 15 years agoDraw Coon in a teacher x student or 'Master' x butler/maid scenario.
I don't know if I'll actually get around to it, but I've really wanted to do something like it. Maybe it's just because I've wanted to see a really submissive Coon lately. I honestly don't know.
Pointless journal seems pointless, so... um... is there any sort of situation that you'd want to see my chubby raccoon character in? Just for the sake of having a talking point here?
Seacrest Out.

10 Things I wish I could say to people:
• Your proposition showed me that you feel I lack integrity and demonstrated how little you respect me not just as a person, but as a friend.
• Everybody knows you're full of crap, but no one says anything because we don't feel like listening to you spew another one of your bullshit stories.
• Instead of pressuring people to find ways to keep you entertained, stop bitching and offer reasonable suggestions.
• The only things you ever talk about (and endlessly at that) are political conspiracy theories and 'serious world issues,' which shows that you're certainly smart, but also that you completely lack any discernible personality otherwise.
• All things considered, you are in no position to offer relationship advice of any sort.
• When people tell you that they wish to discuss something with you 'in confidence,' they mean 'keep it between us,' not 'I believe in myself and wish to tell you something.'
• Your endlessly pessimistic attitude doesn't make you 'edgy' or 'individual,' but it does make every sentence you utter the equivalent of a vocal nut shot.
• By no means am I a slut, but every time I so much as hear your name, in the back of my mind, I idly think about the things I want to do to you/you to do to me.

• Whenever I try to multitask, I'm easily agitated and will snap at anyone who tries to get my attention.
• I have many aspirations, but lack the motivation to pursue any of them.
• If offered a food I abhor, I claim to be allergic to it in order to prevent people from getting it anywhere near me.
• For six years, the only thing I was allowed to do was read (i.e. no friends, no social events, etc). Due to this, I hate books and will no longer read any, unless I personally feel I must.

8 Ways to win my heart:
• Always tell me the truth.
• Never hesitate to 'make the joke,' no matter how bad it may be.
• Don't actively try to impress me; it's catching those things on my own that makes me appreciate a person.
• Have a 'live and let live' attitude for many things.
• Be physically affectionate; a nice, big hug is always welcome.
• Be aware that the 'cornier' an act of affection is, the more likely it is that I'll love it... within reason, of course.
• Be willing to have your own interests (i.e. enjoy things that I don't and be okay with that and/or don't try to force yourself into participating in mine).
• Indulge your 'kid side' as often as you'd like, such as playing games, watching cartoons/anime, etc. [Again, within reason.]
7 Things that cross my mind a lot:
• How much I'd like to do voice-acting someday.
• How my friends and family are doing.
• The worry that I'm somehow holding my guy back from things he'd like to pursue.
• Feeling that a couple of my friends don't think of me as a friend, but rather as 'a natural consequence' of wanting to hang out with their REAL friend(s).
• How much I wish I had a dog. (<- A silly thought, but an ever-present one all the same. XD)
• The 'feeling' I had during a certain moment in a day in December 2002. It's a sort of nostalgic 'pick me up' for when I'm feeling really down.
• How little I've done so far, but how much I still want to do.
6 Things I do before I fall asleep:
• Shut down my computer/electronics.
• Brush my teeth.
• Escort my guy's cat out of our bedroom.
• Take off my clothes and push them into a little pile by a dresser.
• "Ease tensions" (not always; What?! It's relaxing! D:>)
• Make sure I turn my pillow over so that I can rest my head on the cool side.

10 Things I wish I could say to people:
• Your proposition showed me that you feel I lack integrity and demonstrated how little you respect me not just as a person, but as a friend.

Ask Me Questions?

I'm not entirely sure WHY I made one... Well, besides the fact that it's 3:39am and I'm insanely bored.
I feel like I should post a real journal here sometime. Maybe I'll get on that soon enough.

Mabinogi Scouting + More (Short) Random Tidbits
General | Posted 15 years agoDo any of you guys play Mabinogi, by any chance? Specifically the Tarlach server? If so, feel free to shoot me a note or something in-game. I've been looking for more people to chat/play with there and I find that there don't seem to be that many furries on that server. XDDD
Ummm... Also, I thought I'd post some more short thoughts/tidbits of information, just for the sake of having shit to write about in a journal. Is that okay with everyone? XD
Okay, let's see...
1.) I abhor direct confrontation with people. If you say something I find particularly hurtful/upsetting in regards to me in my presence, I'm likely to bite my tongue at the moment or keep my retorts "tasteful" because I don't feel like 'throwing down' with people. I've only ever gotten into -one- physical altercation with someone in my life, beat the shit out of him, and promised I'd never do that again. As gratifying as it was to make people scared of messing with me at the time, the idea of people thinking of me as a violent person was something I'd rather avoid.
This does not, however, mean that I won't talk shit about you and the situation when I'm around trustworthy company. I find that venting is much more therapeutic.
2.) I develop crushes on people (male and female) way too easily. That's the understatement of the year, I think. Mind you, it's rarely ever based on physical attraction, as odd as that sounds. I'm very drawn to fun and odd personalities, so if I think someone's goofy, personable or whatever, there's a high likelihood that I'll end up swooning over them to some degree. I've actually managed to develop crushes on people I don't even know that well based on my perception of their personality, gathered from reading their journals/comics and/or talking to their friends. It's silly and I'm well-aware of that, so I try to never actively hit on any of them. XD
3.) I have what I would call a 'vicious wit' and find that trait incredibly attractive in people (but not when it reaches the point of being just cruel, mean-spirited rudeness). One of the sexiest things in the world to me is the willingness to 'make the joke' without regard to consequence. In my personal opinion, there is no such thing as "too soon" for a crack at something and I love it when people are willing to put on a smirk and take the shot, no matter cheap it might be. No matter what the subject is, be it domestic abuse, disease, or anything in between, I highly enjoy seeing people brushing aside political correctness and choosing the path of humor. I feel bad that people get a lot of shit for being that way (myself included, at times) because there's nothing wrong with it.
To put it simply, if you made a Haiti or Corey Haim joke in front of me right now, I'd probably blow you... Okay, well, not necessarily, but you get my point... I think.
4.) No matter how physically attractive you are, if you're a douchebag twat-waffle, you're an ugly motherfucker. I think this one speaks for itself a little bit. I've known some guys who, physically, were fairly attractive, but had such shitty, insufferable personalities that I COULD NOT find them to be attractive in any way, shape, or form. Quite honestly, I think it's a waste when really awful people have really sexy features because I'll never get to enjoy it. :c
5.) Regardless of how many times your mom/dad told you so, nobody ever makes fun of anyone because "they're jealous." Don't get me wrong; I've been there before. I was the uber-smart, teacher's pet kid in elementary school who got picked on just about every day. I even had a kid put a tack in my chair in third grade. Despite all of that, I know for a fact that I was NOT picked on because my classmates were jealous... and neither were you (meant in a general sense, of course). When people talk shit about someone, it's not because they're jealous/envious of them; they do it because they're given something to work with.
That's not to say that someone taking a crack at someone doesn't also harbor feelings of jealousy, but rather that they're not taking the jabs based on it. It's bad enough that people like me buy into that bullshit claim at times, but, in a way, it's worse when really attractive/successful people do. It's as if they've got their heads stuffed so far up their own asses that the idea that there might actually be something about them that people don't like is completely and utterly inconceivable.
Unless a joke clearly centers around envy (i.e. "I hate that giant cunt because she has big tits and nice hair"), it's never based on jealousy. You (again, meant generally) have provided someone with something to make fun of you for and they are generating the joke. That's way; it's not because they secretly wish to be you and cut themselves at night because they aren't.
I know I spent a bit of time on that particular point, but I can't help it. I just find it very amusing that there are people who actually buy into that after the age of, like, eight.
6.) Anyone who claims that they never judge people is full of shit. I'm not saying that everyone who sees an old man at a playground assumes that he should be on To Catch a Predator, but rather that we all have had to make a judgment call in regards to people at some point in our lives, most often for reasons of safety. You know someone who says they never judge people is full of it because... well... they're still alive. We all judge to some degree, some more so than others, and there's nothing shameful about that.
I think that should do for now. X3

Random Musings = You Get to Know Coon Better! :D
General | Posted 15 years agoLong Journal is Looooooooooooong.
Yes, many of these are taken from my Twitter account in some way, form, or fashion, so several of you may have seen much shorter versions of some of my points. I guess I wanted them here just for the sake of having an original non-meme journal. XD
I took the liberty of bolding my main points. :D
1.) I dislike the term "mate" being used as a substitute for the words "lover, boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, etc" and furries are the sole reason for it, younger furries (15-22) in particular. It's overused to the point that it feels less like "this(these) is(are) the person(people) who(m) I love and wish to significant amount of my life with physically and emotionally" and more like "I'm with him/her/them because I have a biological inclination to have sex with anyone who may be interested."
Many of you will know what I'm talking about, so I'm not afraid of any sort of backlash on that. You know: you're talking with a younger fur about whatever and it eventually reaches the topic of relationships and they end up going off on a tangent about their new "mate," when, in actuality, it's just some guy/girl that he/she hooked up with (which is often anything from them 'being introduced to by friends who think that they need to date' to them 'getting hammered and fucking some random person, who then just happened to still be in the bed the next morning.') at a bar/con/furmeet a couple of days ago. I used to think of 'mate' as being a fairly strong word when it was used to refer to one's relationship, but since a simple fling apparently earns the 'mate' status, it just feels like another one of those empty terms.
2.) I am occasionally pinned as being an asshole because, while I have a thorough understanding of disorders within the Autism Spectrum, I come off as being very unforgiving of them quite often. That might not make much sense, but I'll offer a couple of examples:
- I have had several friends who have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, but I often lose said friendships because I can't stand some of them having the inability to pick up on simple social cues. While I'm aware that they can't help it, I often end up with a "Sorry, but I'm not putting up with this bullshit anymore" mentality and getting as far away from them as humanly possible.
- I did student-teaching during high school for two years and the class I did it for was very close to the Special Education room. There was a SEVERELY Autistic boy in the class who would have random fits of high-pitched screaming and would even physically assault teachers. While everyone else was like "That poor boy. :c" I was more like "WHY did that child's parents enroll him in a public school instead of one specifically for special needs kids? This is really intrusive towards the learning process in every class on this hallway. :c"
I do not DISLIKE people who suffer from Autism, I just find that I have a low tolerance level of particular behavioral patterns that are often found within the spectrum of Autistic disorders.
3.) I'm of the opinion that people on welfare should have it revoked if they get pregnant and choose to go through with it after partaking in the program, rather than being given additional aid/benefits. I'm sorry, but if you're poor enough that you need put on welfare in the first place, in what world of stupidity does it make sense to then have ANOTHER kid? Fucking dumbasses.
This point was actually inspired in part by a situation I observed firsthand back in high school. There was a girl in my graduating class who had two kids and was on welfare, but then did something (I don't know what) that upped her bills and her parents told her she needed to get a job/find a way to make more income because they COULD NOT afford to support her more than they already were. Her solution? Have another kid. While I do not know the welfare system very well at all (despite having temporarily been on it when I was younger and living with my grandmother for a period of time), the government apparently aids you more if you have more kids? She could have been wrong (which is entirely possible because, let's be honest, you'd have to be a complete and total moron to believe that having another baby is more financially-logical than getting a part-time job) and I'm misinformed, but that's what I've heard.
4.) Despite being in an open relationship with my long-time (four years and counting~) boyfriend/fiance, I don't really get much additional action because of how picky I am when it comes to men. I don't really go to gay/bars clubs because, in my experience, a significant amount of their patrons either set off my Creep-O-Meter in some way or come off as being so unbelievably slutty that I'm afraid that if they were to burp, they'd accidentally dispense two liters of cum on my shoes. While I do agree that sluttiness in art can be nice, when it comes to REAL LIFE, there's nothing sexy about 'being easy' to me. I have no desire to hook up with guys whose blood test results resemble a lifetime supply of acronyms.
My idea of a really sexy guy is someone who's a little shy, sexually confident (but not to the point of arrogance; sexual confidence isn't even a real necessity either. I'd be perfectly fine with a guy who's barely [if ever] gotten laid and doesn't think himself to be hot shit at all. XD), chubby, has facial hair, wears glasses, and dresses in things like sweater-vests and slacks. I like my guys to be chubby and geeky to a fair degree. That's not to say I that I don't like guys of other body types or whatever (believe me, I find Neil Patrick Harris and Slash to be beyond the spectrum of sexy~), but that shy, bearish geeks are my preference. X3
What kind of sucks about my preference is that I very rarely get hit on by the guys who actually fit the build. I've been hit on plenty of times before, but they're usually either too thin, too socially-awkward, or (who appear to be) too skanky for my tastes. DX
5.) Contrary to popular belief, I'm not an idiot; I just prefer to focus my time and interests more on pop culture and things of that nature. Within the past year or two, I've come across several friends/acquaintances of mine, both online and off, who seem to believe that I'm (for lack of a better term) stupid. They've never said it directly, but rather it often comes in the form of them being genuinely surprised when I showcase knowing something about anything in particular. I admit that it does offend me a little bit, but I think just about anyone would feel a little tinge of annoyance upon discovering that a popular opinion about them is that they lack intelligence.
Mind you, I can't say that I blame them for believing it at all. I'm not in college and have absolutely no desire to ever go. I haven't had a job since 2006 and I constantly make up bullshit excuses for why I don't actively pursue work. I do not keep up with politics or world affairs of any sort, so when people ask about them, I never know what to say. I'm your stereotypical 'lost puppy' when it comes to life, in that I spent a lot of time and energy focusing on pursuing a certain career, but, after having had a good taste of it, decided that it wasn't for me and was left with no backup plan. I have no idea what I want to do with my life and I'm terrified of making any moves because I don't want to end up being one of those miserable people who work a dead-end job that they hate for upwards of 30 years. While it's worse to do nothing at all, I don't know where to begin because I don't know what I want.
When I try to sit down and think about where I am in life, all that happens is that I get really stressed and ashamed, which then turns into frustration that I take out on everyone else and I don't want to be 'that guy.' So, instead, I focus my attention on pop culture and very trivial things, in a sense of false hope that these things I highly enjoy will 'show me the light,' so to speak, and I'll figure out what I want to do and how I want to accomplish it. My "efforts" have sort of rekindled my interest in voice-acting (cartoons were 'sanity' growing up and I always admired the talents voice actors), but I'm self-defeating on that front because I'm no Rob Paulsen. I don't have the ability to do the things that the men and women in that industry are capable of. I'd -like- to, but I tell myself that I know better. XD
I guess we'll have to see how that all pans out. :3
6.) I hate political correctness and feel that a large chunk of the general population spends a significant amount of time WANTING to be offended by everything that they possibly can be. Let's get straight to the point: I'm gay and Mexican and I don't give a shit if you want to call me a Limp-wristed, Border-Hopping Wetback Faggot. In fact, I'll likely do you one better by then feigning (very poorly) a Mexican accent and talk about my father surfing across the Rio Grande on a door with his fifty family members hiding in the keyhole. We can sit down at Taco Bell and have some tamales and margaritas while we discuss our day in a mix of Spanish and broken English.
Things like that, that would be so unbelievably offensive to so many people, do not bother me at all. I have better things to do than running to my room to sob, slit my wrists, and call up every news media outlet that will listen to me over someone being insensitive. It seems to me that there are people out there who get off to the drama caused by starting an uproar over rude words. The world would be a better place if we all just stopped being offended and chose to just laugh at the sentiments to the point that we, as a society, are completely and utterly unfazed by them.
A lot of individuals seem to believe that if we desensitize ourselves to certain words, we'll become indifferent towards the concepts and actions that they do/once fuel(ed), but that seems very 'reaching' to me. I don't believe that laughing off the word 'fag' will suddenly (or even gradually) make things like gay lynchings socially acceptable (you know, outside of the stupid nations where such things are currently okay).
What's kind of saddening is that there are people who spend money to encourage people to conform to their opinion of what qualifies as offensive, like the "R-Word" or "That's So Gay" campaigns. As a gay man, I can honestly say that I've never lost a wink of sleep over someone using 'gay' as a derogatory term. :\
7.) Though I respect him for what he does, I get the distinct impression that Al Sharpton is openly racist and I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that. This one's short and sweet - Maybe I'm just around for the wrong video clips/news reports and whatnot, but Al Sharpton seems to be of the opinion that the only successful people are those of the African-American race. I don't think I've ever heard this guy endlessly praising anyone who wasn't/isn't black. I could be wrong; I'm just voicing an observation. XD
I think that's enough for now. I'm going to make a new journal shortly to bump this off my front page to avoid it being a mile long.
