I'm not dead, I've just had absolutely no motivation to draw anything lately and the few times I've wanted to write, I had no paper or my laptop was dead. Also, because of that, I've had no real inclination to post or comment recently. I'm trying to get back into things though, even if it's just a doodle or stanza every few days, I'm trying.

A really tough year for me and I'm glad it's coming to an end. I'm just ready to move on and hope that 2013 will be a much better year for me. Hopefully going back to school, getting a job, moving out of the middle of nowhere if I can, and hopefully being closer to my hun.

So since I'll most likely be cleaning still or playing WoW when the new year actually hits, goodbye and good riddance to 2012 and hello to 2013. Happy New Year, I hope this year is better than the last for everyone.

So, anyone remember Neopets? The website? Back before petpet central and all that shit? When it was still fun... Anyway, so I kinda used to spend like my whole life on there (that's not the confession), Toontown too but anyways, I spent ALL my time on there. Now, anyone remember scrambling to find the perfect design for user lookups and shop lookups and petpet pages, etc? (The only site I can remember is SunnyNeo, and I definitely don't remember any of the other users on Neopets that made them) I loved changing mine, they always had to be perfect. 1- Death. I tend to think about death a lot. Mostly, when I'm bored, or in a new place, I think of every possible way I could die in any given situation.

1- I've been borderline bipolar since I was little. It started with random fits where I'd all of a sudden go from happy and cheerful to throwing things and screaming, and has developed itself into Atypical depression, which can stem from anything and last weeks, even months.
2- I am the definition of a hopeless romantic. I believe there's someone for everyone and if you find that person you should do anything and everything to keep them in your life.
3- I don't believe in religion, I believe in spirituality. Everyone has to believe in something that's their own, what makes sense to them, and what they can put their faith behind 100%, not some "god" that others have created for them. It has to be personal, even if it's nothing.
4- I've always been good with animals, namely canines, of any sort. I really do feel that I have a better connection with them than I do with people sometimes. I love animals and I always will.
5- I don't talk about it much but I do believe in magic and witchcraft and voodoo and the supernatural and everything that goes with it.
6- I was born a redhead (yes that means I am a ginger, I've still got the freckles to prove it), but my hair naturally changes colors from blonde with a hint of red to almost brown with red. I've honestly dyed my hair so much and for so long though that if I were to let my color come back it would take months or years for the red to show again.
7- I've honestly always loved school, just not the drama that comes with it. I love learning and improving and I always will. I want to go back as soon as I have the funds to. I'm a nerd, what can I say?
8- I have an extremely high/fast metabolism so no matter how much I eat (and trust me I eat a lot) I never gain weight. I have only hit 100lbs once in my life, that was the most I've ever weighed.
9- I have a long long list of insecurities, but I don't express them to anyone I'm not close to.

If you have requested something from me, no worries, it will get done. But let me say this so everyone understands and no one gets all huffy: I do things at my own pace, as inspiration strikes me. I'm drawing you something for free, so please don't get upset if I don't finish it immediately. I may start a sketch one week and not get back to it until weeks later. If I feel like I wouldn't be doing my best on it, I'm not going to do it until I'm sure that I am. I never really do things in order either, I do them in the order of what interests me most at the time I start drawing. Aside from dealing with that this week, pretty much as soon as I got back from NDK, I've also been getting sick a lot and have been slightly depressed lately. A lot of it is from missing my mate, but there's just been a lot going on. I'm sorry if I've seemed a bit cross or distant talking to anyone, I'm trying not to let it get to me that way, but let me know if I am please.

So being my first con and not having much to go off of for an opinion, it was pretty damn wicked. All the cosplayers and furries everywhere, it's definitely my kind of scene. I can't wait to go again next year, and hopefully start getting some other cons under my belt as well. I had an amazing time meeting new people and just wandering the halls and artist alley and the dealer's room. One of the most unforgettable experiences of my life (and maybe next year I can drag my mate with me =P).
I didn't take too many pictures, unfortunately I kept forgetting, but I'll post some of the better ones so be warned of the slight picture flood.

Alright, so I've determined some things about my art which will greatly affect what I do.

So I've figured I can draw fairly well traditionally, and thankfully I'm getting better, but I ruin it when I try to color it. So I tried out different ways to color, colored pencils, markers, watercolor paint, and the only one that turns out remotely okay is watercolors. So I won't be coloring my traditional art anymore. Maybe I'll keep practicing with my watercolors to see if I can get anywhere with that, but the other methods just do not work for me.

Digital art, however, I will still color. For the time being I just line out my traditional art, scan it, then go crazy in GIMP. It works perfectly fine, but I would like to take it to the next level. I need to get a drawing tablet and Sai. If I can get my hands on those then I will start doing digital art =3.

And so I actually have a question. If I were to start selling cheap traditional sketches and line art (possibly), would anyone pay for it? (I'm only thinking like $2 per sketch, give or take a few depending on complexity) I'd really like opinions on this seeing as I don't even know if anyone here likes my art.

For now I'm waiting for my scanner since we're not done with the move yet, I'm stuck with my camera.

Woke up and my friend served me orange juice, went to buy my own cigarettes, went into a sex store, got my nose pierced, saw Brave, had amazing red velvet cake made by another friend, got my first tattoo with my best friends, got a freakin' replica Roman gladiator sword, got Taco Bell with some others, and drove around and had a nice night adventure. =3 I had the perfect birthday. <3

Well, I forgot to mention, but yeah, I graduated about two weeks ago. 13 long years and it's finally over. For now at least. It's so bittersweet. For so long I wanted to get out of school, and now that I am, I'm upset that I don't get to start college in the Fall. I'm SO elated to finally be out of that hellhole called high school though, don't get me wrong on that. No more unnecessary drama, no more watching random kids beat the living hell out of each other, all that.

Also, because I know maybe one or two people at most will read this, my birthday is coming up soon. In 13 days I will finally be 18. I've got a good day planned though, which involves being kidnapped the entire day. Brave, the new Disney movie about the Scottish girl, comes out on my birthday, so my friends and I are going to try to catch the midnight showing. My good friend is paying for my nose piercing. I MAY be able to afford my first tattoo. And I found out that the Lego store sells LotR sets with Legolas in them, so that's happening. I don't expect anything from anyone, actually I'm not too fond of receiving gifts anyway, but if anyone knows of a really cheap way to get a big, black fox tail, it would be appreciated. =3

As for everything else, my parents are both actually letting me grow up right now and I must say it's really nice. I'm taking a semester or two off before college to find a job and save up enough money to go to CCA. My friend Loopy and I have made it a goal to get an apartment together by the end of the year. And even with the fact that my dad and I are losing our house, probably by the end of the month, and will either end up living in an RV, a mobile home, or my brother's basement, I am okay. I know that life gets hard sometimes, and I'm going to do my best to stay strong. It may take a little Vodka and a lot of friends, but I can do it.

So I'll do my best to stay connected since I'll be losing my Internet when I move in with my dad. If anyone wants to talk, just add me on Facebook or Skype or get my phone number. I'll always keep drawing and writing, and I'll post whenever I get the chance. But for now, I think that's all. I've rambled on enough today.
