Is it Finally Time?
General | Posted 7 years agoLately I've been thinking that if I were to post anything thing to FA, I would've a long time ago. Like...when I first got to FA. But my life has been filled with work, stress, yada yada yada. Now, I've been thinking of scraping the book and just using FA as a social platform instead of contributing to it. Though, my friends have other ideas.
So, for a month or two, I'll be taking off work and really trying to write the book. I've waited to be able to do this for a long time, but I've been swamped this year. Work is finally cooling off, and I can take some time off. But I have one problem.
I forgot what the book was even about it's been so long.
So, I'm starting from scratch with a fresh mind. I'm going to actually be able to sit down and type something for once, without being interrupted by a phone call from work. So, get ready for the first chapter of whatever my brain concocts, pretty soon. So, as soon as my off time has been cleared, I'm going to start work on the book.
So, for a month or two, I'll be taking off work and really trying to write the book. I've waited to be able to do this for a long time, but I've been swamped this year. Work is finally cooling off, and I can take some time off. But I have one problem.

I've been terribly busy to where my life completely shut down. Everything was in utter chaos! Welp, for now I suppose, I'm back. Lovely to see all yall again!

General | Posted 8 years agoOkay I'm back after being gone for a littl while. I had some family matters to attend to.
Also I'm going to be busy in Denmark for about two weeks, designing some stuff for a company. So my writing has been pulled to a hault. I've actually got a chapter and a half ready to be edited so that's a thing. And uh...yeah, that's my calendar for the moment.

I noticed my page is pretty bland...and that's not good.
As you will notice, my page will be slightly be improving over the next few days. I'm updating some stuff, changing stuff out, adding more info about me and my sona, etc.
Slowly but surly, I'll be changing everything at least once...no line of binary left unturned... Upcoming On FA
General | Posted 8 years ago I've finally finished one of my projects for my company! I only have 1/2 of one to go so I'll be a little less stressed out and overworked. Due to these two things I'll finally be able to write something worthwhile and post it here. This is just to tell you about my upcoming writings and events.
I'm hoping to find an artist to start a comic with and I have 2 on tab. I'm open if you offer to do the comic with me. I'll send info on it if you'd like to do so. But yes, a comic! I'm hoping to be able to have YCH's for some fill characters that will either be permanent or temporary (depends on plot). I'm not sure what I'll do the comic on, gotta get some ideas first.
The second thing is I'm starting a hopefully lengthy book about my sona. I have an idea for where to go on that. It's going to be a mostly feral story with the occasional anthro. It's also going to be a first person book with several POVs of different characters. I'm going to try and make it as detailed as possible (obviously).
So yeah, I have a lot of other things in mind for this year (keeping them secret), hopefully I can accomplish them in a good amount of time and make them as good as possible. As for the comic, I honestly don't know when that'll be set up, but the book is for sure! The Story...
General | Posted 8 years ago Alright, I know I've been promising a starting of a book that I would do here on FA but I'm swamped in work right now. I had to work at home during Christmas and New Years Eve (not that I had anyone come over anyway). Being an engineer is already stressful enough, but when you're a fresh-out-of-college, early-graduate, scholar it's even more pressure. I'm physically not even able to think about anything right now. When you're having unintentional sleep-overs at your office, it's REALLY bad.
So what I plan to do is finish the TWO large projects I'm working on, and then take off a month of work to right a good chapter or so. Just me, a pen, and paper. I'm not sure when that's going to be so it might take awhile. Designing an engine that runs on H2O then splits the molocule into hygrogen and oxogen, using the hygrogen as fuel, then emitting oxogen through the tail pipe is not easy. And that's just one thing I have to get done by March!
So the purpose to this journal is to notify the few whom expressed interest in the book. It might take awhile but it's going to be worth it!

Activeness on FA
General | Posted 8 years ago You might see a large drop in activity sooner or later due to a upcoming engineering project my company is starting. Since I was appointed lead, I will be the busiest of the whole team. And I might be pulling all-nighters and barely sleeping enough. But I will check every once in a while to comment.
As for my idle submissions, it will continue to be so for a while. I was planning to submit something this week but unfortunately I won't be able I do that.
For how long this lack on activity will be...I don't know. Our projects usually last for two months (I've been told). As a fairly new person, and the fact I am LEADING a team of specialists, is a RARE thing to happen. So I'm going to take it very seriously and get it done before our deadline. Until then, au revoir les amis!

General | Posted 8 years agoThe first week of being in my new house I was starring out my window in the early morning, and noticed a red fox near my back porch. He was just sitting there, yawning. He stayed there for hours, and eventually went to the lake to get a drink, but came back later.
This was a time that I had writer's block. This little fox cured it, but that's not all. The fox keeps coming to my house, every day. When I leave to go to work, he's just walking out of the woods, and when I get back, he's either on my front or back porch. I'm planning to do some work on my open backyard, to create a den for him (unless he already has one) out of rocks and moss and dirt and stuff.
But I think he's just going to keep up his routine. I also plan to talk to a biologist that I know, and get her opinion on what I should do. Either way, that fox isn't going anywhere, and I'm not kicking him out either. Inspiration List
