Well it's that time of year again where I celebrate another year of life! ^..^ Sure I worked today, but it was a fun evening getting to hang out online with some friends! I'm really looking forward to having a four day weekend though with Christmas coming up, as it'll let me get to sleep in and catch up on my sleep!

I'm pondering as to what might come in the new year as well, which likely won't have a great many things of great change. Probably a new(er) car with better MPG, and hopefully a BF! But with my luck, I'll have to see!

Well, its official, I am now 24 years old! I can legally rent a car!....whoop de doo? Any way, my co-workers all surprised me by suddenly bunching up and singing happy birthday to me! Followed by a flurry of shooting me with nerf darts!

A couple days prior to my birthday, I had attended my company's Christmas party. It was a blast of a party I have to say, we started at 5 PM, and ended the party around midnight! Lots of good drinks, friends, good food, and nerf guns!

One of my co-workers who is second-in-command, bought virtually everyone a six barreled nerf gun! So needless to say, a relative amount of the party was spent shooting each other with nerf darts, while the poor waiter had to spend his time sort of ducking around! I'm sure my boss gave him an extra tip for the increase of danger to his job that night!

Needless to say, things have been incredibly fun for the past week! Looking forward to Christmas, but then again, who isn't? XD

Well I'm going to be working on a story, one basically featuring as to what would happen if a race of furries introduced themselves to Humanity. Essentially telling them they're not alone in the universe. While of course, humans would be divided. Some alarmed, screaming end of the world, that aliens are going to invade and kill/enslave everyone. All the typical road bumps one might imagine.

That eventually, some manner of treaties would be created, humanity would be a bit more united with the fact that there is another race out there. With the manner of them not being alone in the universe. Thusly matters of border lines and such, would become a second-rate manner of worry.

Essentially, this story is going to follow the path of a human immigrant moving to the furries world. As individuals from either planet are welcome to move to the other if they wish. In finding themselves a new, unique, strange place to live. Not to mention a culture they aren't used to, an entirely new manner of life changing event as one might say.

So this journal is mostly far as for ideas, since I already have quite a few in mind currently. But I figured I'd see as to what other ideas people might have, if there are any that I might care to add to this story or not. Which may or may not become a series down the road, I haven't truely given that a great deal of thought. Considering that I've only just come up with this particular concept tonight.

Bleh, I hardly ever do journals, virtually nothing ever happens in my life aside from work and spending time online/gaming. Though, suppose there are a few different things to put up, if but to update some folks of things.

My brothers finally bought himself a house, which he has managed to find a pretty good deal. With the house generally just needing cosmetic stuffs to make it look all nice and pretty again. Well, aside from the rather interesting fact that in the master bathroom. Which is more of narrow and not really wide room. But anyway, it has a full size mirror on one wall, which on the right side of it, about towards the middle. It has a very big bullet hole, .45 caliber I'm guessing just from the size. Funny fact is, with the particular trajectory through the wall, the bullet couldn't have come through the window on the opposite wall. Nor is there any actual history that we can find thus far pertaining to this bullet hole. Either way, brother is going to leave it there as a conversational piece if nothing else. Its not exactly everyday one can boast to having a bullet hole in their bathroom mirror!

Another thing, at work I was asked far as if I wished to be a 1st Assistant Manager. Which is essentially a step down from General Manager. Also, for those that don't know, I'm currently an Assistant Manager at a Sonics, which the store I work at happens to be the busiest store in the state. But yeah, I was asked if I wished to be, to which I had given it some thought and such. After talking with them more the next day, turned out even if I wished to be, it probably wouldn't happen for a few years. Due to the fact that the current 1st Assistant is working to try and be a General Manager. Which, part of the reason I was asked if I wished to be a 1st Assistant. Was so he could, so to say, start grooming me for the job for when the 1st Assistant gets to become General Manager. So it could happen in 3 years or 10 years, no way to tell exactly.

So while I would like to be a 1st Assistant, if but for the experience, what I could learn while being one, along with the pay and being able to put thus on my resume. I more then likely won't be around at the store by the time the current 1st Assistant does become a GM. Since I plan on getting into another field of work, because I don't plan on working in fast food the rest of my life. Definitely not my passion in the slightest.

Instead I plan to get going on college soon, whether in a couple late start classes this summer, or in the coming fall. Not to mention I'm keeping an eye out for a different job, something closer to home mostly so as to save on gas, (Considering I currently drive about 40 miles round trip, but for $11 an hr, not too bad, aside from rising gas prices.). Not to mention just something different then fast food, I've worked at this store for 3 years by this coming July. Not a great deal else for me to learn there as an Assistant Manager, plus with rising gas prices, makes it more expensive to even want to keep driving to work there.


Well I believe thats everything I can think of off the top of my head for this journal. Aside from, anyone else going to RMFC this summer? I'm planning to attend myself, and also making sure I get all the days of the con off. As opposed to how last year went, with practically have the people at my work place wanting that same weekend off. Leaving me with only 2 of 3 con days off. >..>

Also, holy crap, I really need to start looking at my submissions inbox, considering its...well....with how many I've yet to look at, it would certainly take a few days, if not possibly a week of looking through before its all cleared out....as there is around 37,200 or so I've yet to look at....damn my procrastination. x..x But ah well, I'll do it tomorrow. You know, I've been thinking recently, who really knows anything about me? Aside from like, maybe two or three people? Even then I don't think they know a great deal about me other then some of the basics.

On top of that, it gets tiring not having anyone really seeming to want to poke me to chat or anything. More often then not I'm just hanging around or poking at someone else to talk with. Which does get a bit depressing at times, even more so when theres usually some 30-40 people online my buddy list at any one time.

Which, in a nutshell, generally makes me feel rather unappreciated. Since just about no one ever tries to get a hold of me, and those who do have my phone number virtually never text or call. It generally seems that for people to want to talk to someone, they have to be either popular/famous, or an artist. Since writers are quite rather under appreciated. Which is part of the reason why I don't bother with trying to write anything anymore. Why put effort into something like that if no one is even going to comment? Much less 1/4th of the people viewing the story, if even that, favorite it?

Then again, I rather detest fame and popularity in a ways, since then everyone is always trying to bug at you. Or try to proclaim themselves your biggest fan and trying to be your best buddy. Makes me rather wonder why people think it would be so great to be famous anyways. Even more so out in the real world, with all that paparazzi, millions of fans watching and listening to your every move. It would just be maddening to me.

But again, I just find it rather a bit upsetting that no one ever really cares to try to talk to me. Even more so when its a few people I do really like to talk with, despite the difficulties with time zones and schedule differences. And whats the point as well in calling someone a friend, if you and they don't really know anything about each other? Other then a few of the basics?

So yeah, thats about everything on my mind thats been bugging me I guess. Just tired of no one wanting to talk to me for the most part and no furry friends to really hang out with in my area either.

Well here I'm kinda wondering what to do for my birthday, though most of its going to be taken up by working 11 am to 7 pm on my birthday. Though after work planning on going to either Old Chicago or Nicolos (Which is a superb pizza place I have to say, some of the absolute best pizza! ^..^ Even more so then dominos, pizza hut and those name brand kinda pizzas, at least in my opinion. ;P If you've not tried it, don't say the others are better! XP)

Admittedly I'm leaning more towards Nicolos, while part of me wants Old Chicago since they've got some drinks I rather like quite a bit ^..^ Ah well, I'll figure something out by then I suppose.

Also, tomorrow night me and my brother  atak are both going this companies christmas party at a sweet steak restaurant ^..^ I've heard its a very good place, plus my brothers boss is paying for the food and drinks, so score! Can't wait for it admittedly, since last year I went to the christmas party at another steak restaurant. ^..^

Wow though, it was absolutely frickin freezing earlier this week! x..x Made wednesday an interesting day at work, due to the fact that overnight it was cold enough that it froze a few of the water pipes. One of them bursting around noon that day, with me being in charge of the day shift for the most part. So yay, at least the plumber fixed it up, after waiting for some 2 hours for him. Then again the wait isn't really his fault so much, since at another Sonics location, they had multiple pipe bursts. Some of which were in the ceiling, while their water tank, which is more of a spiraled pipe from what I understand, not 100% certain how it works. But their water heater had multiple breaks in its piping, so they need a new heater. Overall, a rather not good day for the man who owned the two locations at all.

Oh, and did I ever mention I'm an assistant manager at work? I rather doubt it, since I've only told it to a few close friends that I get to chat with and what not. There are a few that I really wish were around more often so I could talk with them, snuggle with them among other things and such. ^..^; But yeah, loving the job overall, except for how things are slowing down this week. Which ends up with me leaving work earlier and losing out on hours, but ah well. >..<

I recently had bit of an interesting idea far as Memes go, although this one would be more like once a week, every two weeks or a monthly deal. In that we all have any number of friends online, though how often do we get to learn about each other. Or the other to learn about us? Thusly this meme concept being that you write down something about your life, yourself, your dreams and such. Any particular topic really that you feel like writing about at the time, as a way for friends to learn more about ourselves. Since I'm starting this out I'm not going to tag anyone for it really, since if anyone wants to do it they can freely do it. Rather then doing it just because they were tagged, so guess I'll start off then.

Now admittedly I'm a bit bad in terms of thinking on what to tell my friends about myself, since nothing pops to mind right away. Except how high school was for me I suppose, which I rather enjoyed it quite a bit. This high school was probably different from most other high schools in that seniors, juniors and such never put up with any form of bullying. So any freshmen coming in that tried to bully rather quickly learned to stop such behaviors. While the teachers themselves were very friendly, always willing to help out anyone who wanted some help. As well as befriend students, even if we probably wouldn't see our teachers again once we graduated.

The classes themselves were generally quite fun for me, but most of all I loved classes involving computers primarily. Which my high school had quite a few of them, and of course I took probably most of those classes involving computers. Enough so that when I was a Junior I was given an award for academic excellence from the Business department of the high school. Basically in that I took enough classes and did well enough in them to merit such an award, while there were other students whom got awards from other departments as well. Such as Physical education, arts, math, etc etc.

The only other type of class I regularly took was physical education classes, mostly because I enjoyed pushing myself to the limits and improving myself. Of course though, the computer that scheduled classes rather messed up on my senior year. Of which I signed up for a couple of physical education classes, which the computer assigned one right after the other immediately in the morning. So, needless to say, I got extremely fit in my senior year because of it, slept pretty darn good for the nights after I took those classes. >..>;

Hmm...well can't really think of anything else to put down about my experience going through high school, so I suppose I'll just have to leave it off at that. ^..^

Alright all, I'm probably not going to be on quite so much for this week, and certainly not this weekend, since I'm packing stuffs up and moving to another location. Not very far mind you, but still, moving is such a pain in the rump I gotta say. >..< But at least I'll be getting a larger location in a nicer place, so I won't have to deal quite so much with tenants living on either side of me and below me for that matter. So I can be a bit more noisy and such as well, plus I'm hoping to possibly become an asst. manager at the location I work right now in the possible near future. I'll be finding out probably by the end of the week if my boss will intend to promote me to asst manager and have me trained for it. So for the sake of all the packing I gotta do, I need to wean myself from the net for a while so I can concentrate on that, rather then getting distracted with anything online. I should hopefully be back online by tuesday night, or at least thats the plan since Comcast should get things installed and going by tuesday. ^..^ So guess I'll see you guys more next week or something far as chatting and the like.

Well now I'm 21 years old, and legally old enough to drink! Yay! So I'm going to be spending the day with family for the most part, go and get some dinner, try a few drinks out and such. ^..^ Though I'm hoping to be home later in the evening so I can be online for a few hours or so and relax before work on Saturday.

Bit nervous as to how the alcoholic drinks will taste and such, though hey, gotta try something and see what I like first right? ^..^ But as they say though, drink in moderation! Which I rather plan to do and all. ;P

In about a months time I'll be turning 21, and I'm having a hard time actually thinking of what to do to celebrate the milestone of reaching the age where I can legally drink booze and gamble. >..< Pondering maybe going to a night club or two, or going to a town thats not too far from here to gamble some and try a few drinks. Or just go out to a bar, try a few drinks and such, or just plain get hammered the first time and see how crappy it feels the next day or something. Any ideas at all on what might be a good way to celebrate my birthday?

8. Hmmm, what else to tell 'bout myself...well, in high school I took a few cooking classes, and in middle school I took a class where I learned some sewing and what not. Rather useful when I tear my pants, rather easy to mend the tears a bit. Though I still need to practice at it, as well as cooking.

Well things have been changing a fair amount on my end of life, finally got myself a new job and quit working at that dead end restaurant job. Now, I'm working at Sonics Drive-In as a car hop. Started at $7.25 an hr, though I'm now up to $8 an hr and I've only been there for just about 3 weeks. I also got myself a $100 bonus as well for that matter! The reason I got such a nice bonus, is besides being a hard worker, I also got 100% on a secret shopper thingy that basically checks our place out for customer service and such. When we answer people waiting to order something to eat/drink/etc we tell them our name. That way the secret shoppers put our name on their report things.

Though, I failed to mention, that I got 100% on two of these secret shopper dealy things. Which, is a major thing to my bosses, since people usually get 90-94% on them. Getting 100% is sort of like someone digging in the ground striking gold. I mean, my bosses practically love me right now, one of them even told me that at my next evaluation, if I keep working the way I am now. I'll be getting a raise to $9 an hour.

So, overall, I'm just loving my new job, I get way better benefits for being such a hard worker and all. Plus the job is more fun, more to do then there was at the restaurant. Definitely better pay for that matter, in fact I forgot to mention that my best friend since just about 1st grade works at this place same as he. He worked so hard and the bosses loved him so much they made him an asst. manager within 9 months or so I think it was.

Hopefully if I keep working hard and such the way I am now, I can possibly get to be an Asst. Manager as well, which would be pretty damned sweet. Though for now I'm content to work as a car hop, since about half the time we take an order out, we get a $.50 to a few dollar tip from the customers. So I usually make maybe around $25-$30 in tips a day, which helps to cover food I buy for lunch as well as gas. ^..^

Me and my brother are also thinking of moving to a better apartment sometime, not sure as to when though. Since we're not doing any apartment hunting, but hell, I'm content for now since I love my new job to bits virtually.

Only downside I've found so far, is when it rains rather hard, since rain, snow or shine, we still take orders out to the customers. So I've gotten soaked in rain a few times, plus do you know how hard as hell it is to skate across wet concrete? ^..^;;

Oh, last thing, another reason I love this job is the boss is rather laid back as well, plus I'm working with my best friend whose an Asst. Manager as I said and all. So makes for a rather fun place to work, more people around my age for that matter then there were at the restaurant. XD

Well, thats about it for now I think, nothing else really to add to my update on life and such. ^..^ All in all, I'm very, very cheerful and feel more vibrant now that I've actually got money coming in that I can actually save. As well as a brighter future far as work goes and what not. XD

Oh, one last thing, my boss, Joey, also told me that he'd never seen a noobie do as good as I had in the first three weeks of employment, so that also really helped make me real happy. XD

Alright, so I was wanting peoples' opinions far as what kind of prices I should charge or whatever for doing story commissions. If anyone would be commissing meh for stories of course, but that would be something to see I guess.

Also was wondering if anyone might like to do a trade, whether they do a story or artwork as well. Since I want to try and get myself to write stories on more of a regular basis as well. ^..^; So figured I might as well see 'bout getting something to help sort of motivate me so to say. XP

Though to let you all know as well, I got my computer fixed, turned out that the hard drive my operating system was on went kaput. So got that replaced, spending some money I probably shouldn't have considering I'm tight on it. But, well, I'm sure some of you would agree with me when I say that I rather can't live without my computer. ^..^;;
