my tablet is on its way out :( i thought it was just having a blah moment yesterday, but its continued today, and its something in the wire... i lack any kind of electrical knowledge to do anything to fix a problem like this :(

going to try and sketch commissions during the periods that it does work [with lots of fiddling and repositioning of the wire on my part n.n;]

i'd sketch traditionaly, but as my commissions are mostly adult, I wont be able to. I don't turn on the light in my room unless doing fursuit work, all other times its off to save on electricity .-.

anyway, enough of my families life story of money failures at the moment .-.

i've noticed that i have a very set group of likes for games XD; heres some that I enjoy;

the silent hill games, 2 especialy

baten kaitos; eternal wings and the lost ocean

blue dragon

digital devil saga

persona 3

lost kingdoms 1 and 2

guildwars

what makes me like these... well. simple!

music; a game has to have a good soundtrack for me to be interested! digital devil saga and silent hill are the best examples of that on this list, guildwars has some nice relaxed music too

combat; I prefer turn based strategic combat [DDS is awesome for this! as is baten kaitos and blue dragon] but, I also like the flight or fight combat in silent hill 2, where its usualy best to just run from normal critters :P lost kingdoms and guildwars are the odd ones out. guildwars I'm usualy in the back casting spells, since i'm not great at reactions in melee combat x) in lost kingdoms... well, you throw cards at your enemies XD [look it up if thats confusing]

story; COMPLEX PLOT TWISTY STORIES PLZ. DDS.... fantastic storyline, enough twists to keep your attention, even if you figure out whats going to happen x) silent hill is a mind fuck, but I love the idea behind being drawn to the town and the sheer amount of symbolism. blue dragon has a fun story too, more cheesy than the usual, but again, plot twists made this game all the more fun! and the little side quests were fun too. lost kingdoms has an easy to follow story, though out of all the games above its probably the most disappointing, however I love card based games :D. guildwars has an onging story across so many expansions that it can be difficult to keep up sometimes, but i enjoy it none the less :) baten kaitos... oh god, next to DDS, probably my favorite storyline in a game <3 you need to play it/watch it be played to fully get a feel for it.

game length; this is where silent hill and lost kingdoms lag behind... too short! I complete SH games in less than 5 hours usualy, and thats one sitting for me. i can re-complete lost kingdoms 1 and 2 in 2-3 days as well. however, I think I spent a collective total of about 120 hours on blue dragon, still uncomplete [doing optional bosses]. baten kaitos took about 90 hours of my time, maybe more, its been awhile since i played it. DDS 1 and 2 have taken up about 80 hours without the optional bosses. guildwars... well. i've been playing that for 5 years and i'm still playing through all the side quests and main storyline :D
