General | Posted 7 years agoMy 980ti died about 2 months ago, and the 1070 I JUST got died... didn't even survive half a day of use. It was under warranty and they couldn't fix it and had no 980ti replacement so they sent me a slight upgrade.
Also the VA has really been kicking me in the dick as of the past 2 months as well with not paying me so I can barely pay rent/bills for the month while I am a full time student.

Animation Question
General | Posted 9 years agoDoes anyone have any good moderate-advanced tutorials for 2d character animations?
I have a little visual novel project that I'm helping out with and I want to try and make them as fluid as possible as well grow my own abilities.
And the possibility of taking on commissions sometime in the future once I feel like it is of good enough quality that I would feel comfortable doing it.

General | Posted 9 years agoYup, the other vet who owned the house my cousin and I were renting in with for school is moving out of state to a different school and it just sold so we were given a month to find a new place from what the new owners said.
It sucks cause now we half to fight for space from the college kids coming in this time of the year but we have found a place that might work and are going to check it out tomorrow. We might also have a few other places that would work but is still up in the air atm.
I guess the good news is that we don't need to pay them rent for the month.My Desktop has failed D8
General | Posted 9 years agoSo my computer just up and started crashing repeatedly saying windows 10 had an error and needed to restart until it eventually stopped working altogether and after a diagnosis from geek squad, they had told me that my ssd which had my windows on died. Now its off to RMA or at the very least buy a new ssd *sigh*

General | Posted 10 years agoERRMAHGERD, best one yet not only because it wasn't like what happened last year but I had a fursuit to bring to the party this year as well and I suited SOO MUCH over the weekend that Im still feeling its effects but hey it was totally worth it and memorable.
Thursday
I got my 2 classes out of the way then took off strait from their to pick up my passenger, got at the Hyatt at around 7 but traffic was horrid as usual. I had gone up to
and 
for a bit and after a while I had realized that I forgotten my body suit at home. Mieze and Calico had help convinced me to go back and get it so I flew out there room and took the 3 hr trip of shame back home to go get it and got back in at 3am.
Friday
Woke up at about 9, ate my poptart and immediately jumped into suit as well as hung out with friends, stopped only to eat and wait for when my other 2 roomies
and her mate showed up to give them there room keys. Also got in on the dragon photo shoot, although we were missing a few so hopefully better coordination for next year.
Saturday
Fursuiting and photos! Met lots of furs like, 
, 
and SO SO many more. I also went to the charity dance about half way through and danced with some local friends, raising about $40 and when I showed up to dance that money started flying into the bucket XD
Sunday
Moar suiting! and went to the dead dog dance and partied like crazy for 2hrs straight with
two suits who 
and Sterling where in. Left there drenched in sweat but worth it. Lastly I went to 
's room party at midnight till about 2 in the morning.
Monday

very disappointing and unfortunate to say the least.

General | Posted 11 years agoERMAGERD, soo much stuff, had a blast for my second con evah even got to run around in a suit for a while and be in the parade which defiantly made it more memorable than the last not to mention Saturday night of GasCon which technically didn't affect me too much because my room was in the overflow, But LONG story short I fireman carried Calico.Firethorn about 100yds to the convention building because she did not have her wheelchair for her injured foot, I had asked them, KINGKOUGRA1 and her BF if they wanted to stay in my room until the all clear was sounded but only Kougra and her BF accepted the offer.
Over the entire weekend I managed to take some 300+ pictures but about half were doubles and triples incase one didn't turn out. I have uploaded the best ones that I had taken to dropbox and if you want to view them here is the link https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r5fipi4q.....nOCOrhLua?dl=0

Pride
We are incredibly proud, and extremely vane creatures, and are often extremely absorbed and obsessed with things that make us look good, either physically or from a position of status. We are often very competitive, and absolutely abhor any situation that makes us look bad, or ruffles our pride. As a result, we generally can't stand losing an argument, except perhaps to another dragon who we also quite respect… which admittedly doesn't happen very often.
Sensitivity
We are notorious for being very sensitive and passionate individuals. There are few who can match the romanticism of a dragon, or the intensity of the spectrum of our emotions. Almost everything said to us has an effect on us, and so it is very often that the first few words an individual shares with a dragon can come to define what that dragon thinks of them forever more. We are easily hurt, easily offended, and easily infuriated; but when all is said and done there is no one who can be more romantic or loving than a dragon.
Competence
We are notorious for being extremely competent in one way or another. Often because of how sensitive we are, and also related to our vanity, we relish receiving praise from others, and being able to feel proud about something we have done. The surest way to please a dragon is to make us feel like we've done a good job, to stroke our ego and show that you acknowledge how awesome we really are!
Solitude
We are not the most warm and bubbly and friendly bunch. Often because of our vanity, we just spend so much energy on ourselves that there isn't much left for dealing with other people. But it's also because we are very moody and sensitive, so dealing with the masses is more often than not stressful. We also find it irritating to be around people who are just so much less competent than we are!
Wit
Going back to the very roots of our lore, we are very well known for our wit. Spending so much time alone gives as a lot of time to think, and our sensitivity and pride make us rather sharp tongued. In general, the only individuals who can outsmart a dragon are fellow dragons; or at least those are the only individuals whom a dragon will actually listen to and admit defeat to. Regardless, dragons are incredibly clever and conniving individuals. We are notoriously tricky but also very adept at anything relating to humor!
Unpredictability
We are very impetuous, more often than not, so it is pointless to even attempt to predict our actions. In some ways this is on purpose, because we derive pleasure from how smart it makes us feel to surprise others. In other ways, it's simply because we are, again, very vane and self-centered. We generally expect others to follow us and deal with wherever we choose to haphazardly wander.
Stubbornness
When a dragon makes up his mind, forget about trying to change it. We are stubborn beyond words, and by the time we come to a conclusion on something, there is little that can break that conclusion apart from ourselves, or on very rare occasion, another dragon. This can make us very frustrating to deal with (your problem, of course), but it also makes us a great friend. If we pledge our loyalty to you, then you can count on us sticking with you through anything.
***NOTE: These traits are for WESTERN dragons, who I consider to be dragons. No offense intended, but I consider eastern dragons to be more fae or spirit than dragon. I MEAN COME ON. You FLOAT places! lol.***

Back from MWFF!!!
General | Posted 12 years agoJust got back from MWFF, mah first con and OMG I had so much fun, and totally looking forward to next year or even next con for that matter. I have over 4GB's of photos and video I need to sort through of my entire weekend, so much fun.
