June art thingy!
Posted 3 years agocalling it a raffle seems iffy at this point since i'm choosing which idea sounds the most fun to draw, but regardless, it's a new month so it's time for another one.
Leave a comment with an idea you want drawn. i'll be choosing one in a week, and i'll be drawing some lineart of it.
i also put out a tweet for it but there'll only be one winner between the two.

Redoing monthly shenanigans
Posted 3 years agoAs many of my watchers know I've done a lot of monthly raffles, these have been wildly varying from my old quick sketches to linework to the occasional fully colored pic, but with some of my recent changes I've come to reconsider how I do these as well. I'm not getting rid of them, but with being on twitter as well, I think I'm going to split up my raffle and have two of them instead, both just doing linework. This way people on my Twitter who don't follow me here still have the opportunity.
I'm also going to be picking the winner myself from now on rather than doing it randomly. I've done some in the past that I wasn't exactly invested in, and I really feel it shows. I'm not going to just be picking friends, or picking popular people over others, but I will be picking based on which ideas sound the most fun to draw. I have stated in the past to please say what you want when commenting, and it is often ignored. Unless you think your character is that fun to draw, I would try to at least put some vague idea in your comment.
Lastly I want to say I've gotten some feedback about my new commission info. Yes it's a price increase that's drastically more than my old prices. I timed myself and the most recent drawing took me roughly 20 hours to finish over a single week. This may partly be because of having a shattered wrist, but I still put a lot of effort, and I feel my prices reflect that. I appreciate anyone who even considers commissioning me, and I do hope that this latest piece reassures you of the art I offer. If you feel my prices are still too much, that's fine, you can always enter my raffles, and I'm not going to stop anyone from getting my linework colored, but the prices I set are in consideration of my development as an artist, and the value of my time.

Get ready for a flood of stuff
Posted 3 years agoI'm gonna be doing my best to catch up on some stuff tonight, I got over 9k submissions and like 500 journals to get through, then I got quite a few things to post, lots of new art, and even got a new commission sheet for this year. Warning for those potentially interested, I'm upping my prices, please understand that I tend to spend several full days on the average pic, and the new prices reflect the effort I put into my art. I still have more art I'm working on, but I will be accepting commissions when I post my new sheet. I do hope you all enjoy the stuff I've managed to finish so far, and all the muscles to come in the future

biceptember's over, october time!
Posted 4 years agoi... don't know what i wanna do for october. don't think it'll be inktober though, and don't think i'll be doing a raffle this month either. i'll still be open for commissions for anyone interested, which brings me to a thought. after the past 30 days of non stop drawing, i'm considering repricing my stuff. i'll likely keep my current prices through the end of the year, but those biceps usually took me about 4 hours, which one of those if commissioned right now, would only cost you 10$, plus extra if you wanted shading. if i had made a template and used that, it may be worth that, but i drew each one individually from scratch. so i'm just gonna be thinking about those for a while, and if anyone has any thoughts, i'd love to hear them. but with all that out of the way, it is officially october, meaning spooky month, so i hope everyone has a good time with whatever this month may bring us.
running low on biceptember volunteers
Posted 4 years agowith a week and a half left of biceptember, i've burnt through quite a few biceps these past couple weeks, and that being said... i'm running low on participants. i'm currently down to five, and need a few more, so if anyone's interested in participating, feel free to leave a comment in my previous journal, or this one, just leaving your reference for me to use. as i said, these are mostly an excuse for me to experiment with stuff, and so, i can't guarantee anything, and the characters are randomly picked.
biceptember's coming
Posted 4 years agowhat if i did a bicep every day? try different angles and stuff just to experiment with things. would people be interested in joining for something like that? do some experimenting with linework, coloring, shading, etc, no guarantee of quality but some potentially interesting stuff (if life doesn't get in the way). if you are interested in having your bicep drawn, feel free to drop a reference here. if there's a ton that enter, i may not get to everyone, and will end up picking people at random, but that'll still be 30 biceps being drawn... again, if life doesn't get in the way.
and the winner is...

raffle reminder
Posted 4 years agoi'll be closing it after 24 hours or so, so leave comments in the previous journal, or here, if you're interested in trying for a drawing. i'll announce the winner afterwords.
i'm back! (raffle)
Posted 4 years agoreturned home today from my little trip, had lots of time to just destress from everything, and just relax. and with that, i'm now ready to dive into this month, so to start off, i'm opening my every-other-monthly raffle, leave a comment with what you'd like me to draw and i'll announce the winner in a few days. i'm gonna keep myself to one free request, but as before, my commissions will still be open if you want something more, or colored.
going away for a weekend!
Posted 4 years agoso i'm going on a small mini vacation to a local convention for weeb stuff this weekend so i won't be around, that being said, i spent the past week trying to prepare for it, and i wanted to get through a bunch of my art ideas before it happened so i could start august without anything on my art plans. that being said, i've drawn 8 things in the past 6 days. that's the most productive i've been in a very long time, and i'd love to keep up that motivation. when i get back from my trip, i'll be opening the august raffle journal. i'll only be doing one drawing still, but i'll be trying to do more personal art, and as always, my commissions will always be open.
new alt art twitter!
Posted 4 years agofeel free to follow me over on my new twitter account where i'll be posting my art, and art i've gotten of shadow. my normal account's kinda been followed by real life people that while they say they don't care, i still don't want them to deal with too much gratuitous stuff.
july updates!
Posted 4 years agoi'm not going to be doing a raffle this month, i'm gonna try focusing more on some personal art, but my commissions will still be open for those interested. next month i'll be hosting another raffle though. i feel doing it every other month will be good to let me have less stress with everything else going on right now, but i'll be trying to have some more personal stuff to show. expect 90% of it to be some muscles.
