been three months of stuff happening, but i finally got stuff taken care of, so i'm ready to open up the request raffle again. leave a comment with what you'd like to enter, and i'll give it a couple days before closing it. i'll probably just stick to one person, maybe two if i'm feeling productive enough.

so there's a few people i've told about this, but i'm just gonna say it here. this past month i've been dealing with the death of a loved one, someone super close to me and my family, who i'd been helping to take care of for several years. almost a month ago i woke up to a call asking me to make the final decision to give up resuscitation, and it was such an uncomfortable position, and what followed was a hellish series of concerns and complications, but just today we got to have the funeral service. i'm not quite through my grief, but thanks to today, i feel a small sense of relief. with this month i've been doing very little art, but i'm slowly working on things at a pace i'm comfortable with, and i'll get back on track eventually. but i just wanna say that i'm doing okay, and i hope to return when i'm ready. until then, i'm probably gonna be stalking around, and maybe uploading a small thing here and there. thanks to all who've shown me support through this time, and i hope everyone takes care of themselves.

I'm trying to find someone to draw my dnd character as I've been struggling a lot to try getting him on paper. The issue is I dont have any ref for him, and so I was wondering if anyone knew of any artists who accept commissions with just a description.

happy new years, starting the year off with a raffle to get into things. i'll have this open for a week then announce the winner, just leave a comment here with what you want me to draw for you.

as some may know i completely shattered my wrist way back in march, and so i took a break from art, and have slowly been trying to get back into the swing of things. so i'd like to officially open up my commissions once more, though i'm limiting it to two slots a month at most and i'll start my request raffles next month, but i'll keep it to one winner from here forward. i'm also gonna try cleaning things up around my profile and try more personal projects, starting with a new ref sheet for shadow himself.

been a while since i posted any updates, so i thought i'd just give one. i've been a little under the weather the past two weeks, don't think it's covid, just general seasonal stuff. on top of that i had to put my dog down, which really sucked, i had her for 18 years, which was a lot longer than she probably should've lasted, but it's kinda left me in a bit of a depression. i've tried doing some art, but it's a bit rough trying to get started, so i haven't done much outside of work doodles. other than that, things've just been super slow, which is probably better than it being hectic. we'll see if i can get things moving, but for now, i'll just be keeping myself distracted.

i promised that at the start of august i'd go back to doing my regularly schedule request raffles, so if anyone's interested, leave a comment here and i'll announce the winner in a few days. it's been five months since doing these, so i'm just gonna have one winner, but later i'll try going back to more.

as i said two and a half weeks ago, i'd been falling behind and was gonna work on a bunch of things. well, finally managed to get everything finished, so i'm gonna be uploading a ton of things i've drawn, and have had drawn, so hope you guys are ready for lots of muscles ^^

so just wanted to give everyone an update about my stuff, i'm currently trying to catch up on a lot of things, one of which is honestly a few drawings i would like to finish, which i was hoping to get done and upload all at once, including other things i've gotten done. i've got two to four more drawings, depending on things, which should hopefully be quick to do, and as soon as i get everything finished, i'll have a day of mass uploading to get through. luckily my wrist has gotten a lot better, so drawing is going more smoothly, but not quite back to normal, and probably won't be for quite a few more months. but i'll keep pushing and trying to finish things.

but honestly, birthday's the last thing on my mind. got the pandemic, so i'm quarantined, the person i live with is currently in the hospital with something else, and i've got a broken wrist still that's slowly on it's way to recovery, but it makes working on art very awkward, and slow. today was just trying to enjoy some simple stuff, and visiting with some family, though i kinda ended up forgetting about it until someone mentioned it a couple days ago. might try making up for it once the whole quarantine thing is over, but we'll have to wait and see.

so as it is april, i'm looking back at march, at the unfinished raffle picture, at the two other drawings i need to finish, and am having to face the fact that it may be another few months before i can finish them. as i have said in the previous journals, i've sustained quite the injury to my wrist, and unfortunately it is my dominant hand. i've been getting by with doing smaller things with it to do my best and be productive, but coming later this week, that will end, and i will be officially out of commission for at least a month and a half, if not longer, with the possibility of other factors. i would be lying if i said all of this wasn't giving me a crap ton of anxiety, and this also obviously explains the absence of my april monthly raffle, which is going to be the first time i've missed a monthly raffle in a very long time. but with all the anxiety, i'm mostly worried about the expenses, and will be doing my best to get things sorted appropriately. to those who i owe art, i haven't forgotten, and will doing my best to make progress, slowly but surely. here's hoping all goes well.

so i went to a local clinic, and got some xrays. turns out i managed to break both my ulna and radius, both my wrist bones, so i'm currently trying my best to recover from that. this week i'll be getting some more stuff done, just to see how extensive the damage is, and how long it'll take me to recover. until then, art will be a tad difficult to do, but i'll still be trying to make some slow progress with my wrist the way it is.

just a heads up, my wrist got suuuuuuuuuuuuper messed up, so art is gonna be a bit slow. my brother took me to a bar and showed me a punching machine, and on one of my punches i put too much forward momentum and punched straight through the bag and into the plexiglass screen behind it, it was fine, my wrist though got squished. i will try to make some progress on things, but it will definitely likely be slow for a while until it fully heals.


also, the day after, i finally got a copy of super mario maker 2. i'll be posting levels on twitter for anyone interested, and while i'm late to the game, i wanna have some fun messing with things.
