These are first come, first serve, fixed price commissions. NOTE me with your request and, if approved, your name will be added to the list.
The 'basic' guidelines:
- only one character per pic; if you want more than one character, remember that each character will count as an additional commission;
- no 'extreme' fetishes; adult themes are accepted; 'tame' themes are encouraged;
- payment will be done 'in advance'; I will contact you to provide the payment details once I start drawing. PayPal only;
- Please provide as much reference material or description as you can, upfront; requests with no reference material or asking to "do as you wish" will be left for last.
These guidelines 'are' flexible and may be changed as I deem necessary.

To anyone who cares...
General | Posted 16 years agoAt 2:30pm local time today, my dog, 'Vash The Stampede' died.
For those of you who don't know, this Setter / Labrador crossbreed had been fighting against a Lymphoma Cancer since July 2008.
He had been through a lot, always with the love and care of his family that, despite knowing there were no chances for a cure, tried everything to provide him with the quality of life he'd always had since he was adopted back in 2002, with a perky one and a half months of age.
He was always hyper, always in a mood to play, his loud and almost obnoxiously addicting happiness never fading, even when his fate had been long sealed.
Every single therapy option was considered and, whenever the painful option of Euthanasia was put on the table, he always seemed to bounce back up, and give us a couple more weeks of home.
...today was not the case...
I saw my puppy die in front of me... and it hurts so damn much...
I feel as if every ounce of happiness is gone from this house, that now feels cold and empty without the cheerful sound of his claws tapping on the wooden floor, or his chain collar jingling as he dashed around, chasing a ball.
...I'm not typing this to get any sympathy, just to try and get some closure...
...its a pain that makes me sad, and angry... that such a sweet creature had to die so violently, at barely 7 years of age...
...but, my life goes on... and if Vash were still around, he'd just lean his head on my thigh, and look at me with those dark brown eyes, as if saying "Hey, don't be sad. I'm here, let's play."
I'll be pushing life forward... Vash's medical therapy will leave a few 'more' bills to take care of...
Those of you that have a pet... dog, cat, whatever... give that friend of yours an extra tight hug today.
I know I'd give the world to be able to hug Vash again...

First of all, yes, I'm a 'WoW-tard' ... in case the Night Elf yaoi pic in my gallery didn't make it clear...
Second, like many people out there, I'm EXTREMELY excited about finally being able to have the Worgen as a playable race.
Yes, they're furry and feral and kick ass, but its also a missing part of Azeroth storyline I myself wanted to see cleared (yes, I don't play games just for the 'shiny' stuff and to PWN N00BS)
Still... I can't help but notice something, here... instead of explaining it, lemme show you:

Here's the deal:
I am considering the purchase of a new notebook. My old notebook is getting old, and although it still works ok, it overheats and lags and working on photoshop in a 13" screen really doesn't work anymore.
So, I got a couple of new notebooks in sight. Trouble is, choosing.
I'm mostly getting a notebook to work on art stuff while I'm at work, and maybe eventually play a game or two... so I'm favoring features like Graphics performance, Processor speed and Pricetag.
Notebook A is pretty cheap, has a 2.8Ghz Intel Core2Duo processor, and a 512MB Radeon graphics card.
However, Notebook B is 'cheaper', and despite having a 2.3Ghz AMD Turion Ultra X2 processor, it also has a 1GB Radeon graphics card.
All other specs are identical, as are HDD, RAM, and 'accessory' features.
So, share your opinions...

Closing 2008... Happy 2009
General | Posted 17 years agoYessss... its now 10:30pm here. I'm stuck at work for New Year's... yaaaay...
...time for a little 2008 retrospect.
I can't really say 2008 was a good year...
There were good things, but they were pretty much outnumbered by bad things.
Financial situation gone berzerk, savings out the window, professional stagnation, home degradation to its fullest, etc. etc etc.
It was the year that my dog "Vash The Stampede" got diagnosed with early stages of Lymphoma cancer.
The year I, once again, had to give up college because of a precarious financial situation.
Another year with no decent vacation, with negative savings balance, driving a car in desperate need of maintenance, and living in a house in even WORSE conditions.
...the year that once special someone stopped talking to me...
Along with these, I've had FAR more events about 2008 that would have your random 'emo' boy running for some razors to cut his wrists...
All in all, 2008 was a complete and utter disaster...
Still...
Let's focus for a bit on the good stuff...
I have a job, that pays relatively well.
I have a roof over my head.
I have food on the table.
I have my own car to drive to work, and not worry about rain or cold.
I have warm clothes to wear in an increasingly cold Winter.
I'm strong, I'm healthy, I'm pretty good looking... :3
I have awesome friends both online and IRL who 'actually' care about me...
So... I guess I really can't complain much.
Sure, 2008 was a pretty bad year... but it could've been much worse...
Still, I keep my hopes that 2009 will be somewhat of a turning point. And things finally start going right.
And that's what I wish for everyone out there. Sure, some people out there deserved a nicely aimed kick to the jaw (names will remain undisclosed, for now...), but all in all... I really hope 2009 is a better year for all of you...
...whoever and whereever you may be...

Merry Christmas to All - A friend in need
General | Posted 17 years agoYess, yess... Merry Christmas or Hannukah or whatever you celebrate in these two days, even if it is just the "HEY ITS PRESENTS TIEMZ" day. ^^
Presents and food aside, and above all else, I hope everyone is well and try to enjoy the happy times with their loved ones and family.
Christmas for 'this' old tiger is always just the regular old day. Parents are home, people who don't seem to care during the 'rest' of the year 'magically' remember you... nothing new.
However, I'd like to take the chance to leave a word of comfort for someone whose Christmas has been everything but happy.
A dear friend of mine has been in a serious car accident. Its hard to know more details from something that happened across the planet, since he lives in Hawaii... but it was a head-on collision and they had to tear the car open to get him out.
The last few updates state that he's been through surgery on his leg, and he's doing ok.
I'm hardly Christian enough to say that "He'll be in my prayers"... but he will be constantly in my thoughts, and I wish for him to have a speedy recovery.
To everyone else, please enjoy your time with your loved ones.

This note was specifically aimed at those people who added me to their contacts for some occult reason, only to delete/block/ignore me a while afterwards.
It seems that, this time, things have gone a 'little' bit further than that. So in the wake of recent events, I leave that note, 'again'.

I can't say that I'm a popular person. I'm not, and I'm aware of it. Still, when people start adding me on MSN or any other IM service I'm on, I try to talk to people the best I can. I'm polite, helpful, even if I don't really know who's behind that little text window. Call me naíve for for trying to be nice.
It seems, however, that people obviously don't like what they find on 'this' side of the screen, so either delete me from their contacts, or ignore me altogether.

STATUS - Disk in recovery - Standing By -
General | Posted 17 years agoSo, stevedu has been a really awesome guy and has suggested a few ways to recover that lump of computer hardware that my 500GB archive disk became, last night.
The disk has now been in a recovery analysis for almost 24 hours, and I'll soon have some sort of estimate of how much data I can actually recover.
I have a new 0.5TB disk standing by to receive the recovered data, and...
...all I can do, is wait...

Last month, 'Vash The Stampede', a Setter/Labrador crossbreed I've had as a pet for 6 years, has been diagnosed with Lymphoma.

Life's been hectic, lately. Stupid work schedules, little to no free time, and even less creative juices left in this old battered body of mine.
Thank you very very much to everyone who's been +Watching and +Faving this little gallery of mine. I owe each and every one of you an apology for not even saying 'thanks', and for not posting anything for more than 2 months.
Fortunately, I got some vacation time coming soon, so I'll be able to catch up on some pics I got queued up here.
There have been times in which I seriously considered stop posting stuff here, since its either pretty much ignored, not faved, not commented on, not criticized, or any combination of the above mentioned.
But, and backed up by what I sometimes read in journals from people like
taoren , silverfenrir and other more 'popular' artists around here, I'm gonna keep doing stuff to post here. Not cuz I need praise or 'attention', but cuz I want to.
However, and I know I haven't been the most 'active' artist in the history of FurAffinity, nor the most 'social' one, but a little feedback would be nice.
Since I usually work on a "give first if you wanna receive" policy, I'm gonna start commenting and critiquing stuff more often. I only fave stuff I 'especially' like, so my policy will stand on that.
Regarding IM stuff, I'm 'always' available to chat and stuff, but I've noticed that some people add me to their contacts, and just ignore me when they don't think I'm 'interesting' anymore. I've added people whom I only talked to once, and then simply stopped talking.
Despite being always online, both at home and at work, I may not be 'available' to chat all the time. So please, bear that in mind.
So, feel free to poke me online for a chat. Tho, if you just add me on IM for a random Yiff, wanting me to go all 'murry purry' with you, and expecting me to just pull topics out of my ass to keep a conversation, then please don't bother. If you wanted a nifty piece of art done exclusively for you, now's your chance.
Note me or mail me with a detailed description of what you want, and we can discuss it over IM.
Basic guidelines (these 'may' change according to the request):
- sketch + ink: $30 USD - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/100751/
- sketch + ink + CG + simple background: $40 USD - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/100750/
- Extras:
- complex background: +$20 USD - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/913513/
- extra character: +$10 USD - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/414330/
- manga/comic/doujinshi: variable, minimum $50 USD per page
- anything adult involving more than simple nudity - minimum +$10 USD
Payment will be done via PayPal, 50% after the sketch is done, and the rest after the pic is completed. A low-res 'review' of the pic will be sent as it is finished, after which it must be paid in full. Payment in advance is preferred, but not required.
The finished works will be posted on my gallery, unless requested otherwise.
I can take anywhere from a couple of days to a week to finish a pic, depending on my work schedule. So, please be patient ^^

Been almost 4 months since I updated anything around here... Busy with life, busy with work...
Fisrt of all, I'd like to thank all the awesome people that faved and/or commented on my stuff, and also put me on their watch list. I feel honored that you all like my art. Sadly, I probably won't be able to thank and watch back everyone who watched me... got 600+ submitions and 200+ messages to go through...

Could someone please explain/comment/whatever on WHY THE FUCK are WHOLE galleries of GOOD SecondLife screencaps being deleted just because 'its not User-Created Content'??? As far as I know, SecondLife is a game/MMORPG/whatever that allows for full customization of avatars and any other content. even the appearance of 'basic' avatars can be customized, so that they're unique and identifiable as belonging to that one person. So WHY ALL THIS? Doesn't that count as 'original'?
If the people that run this place are so worried about ORIGINALITY, then, by all means, please go ahead and remove all audio remixes, all photomanipulations, all art that uses either trace-overs or blatant copies of other images, ETC ETC ETC.
I'll be happy to search all 644 new submissions in my message inbox and provide with a couple handfulls of examples...

So yea... Life on this little corner of the world is...
...doing considerably and surprisingly better...
Work Schedule is 'still' hectic and erratic, but life's going a little more smoothly. After car problems that literally made me pull out my hair, parental issues that drove me crazy and social situations that left me nothing short of furious... I think I finally found a quiet little track to just let my life run its course.
I'm drawing again at a generous pace (tho, not yet at 100%), learning a few new things, getting some ideas down on canvas (...digital canvas, mind you =P ) and generally trying to improve my artstyle.
And, what do you know? I'm succeeding =D

I've been getting some rant IMs from some people (whose names will remain anonymous... you all know who you are) complaining/bitching that I no longer talk to them. To these people, I leave this Public Announcement :
Just because I don't open an IM session with you, doesn't mean I don't want to talk to you anymore. Just because we don't talk in Ages, doesn't mean I have something against you, or that I'm mad at you. I'm rarely online at home with 'free' time to chat, sometimes I'm only online at work, and may take a while to reply or even notice you're online, or even on wireless, which makes it even 'more' dificult.
DO NOT ACCUSE ME OF NOT WANTING TO TALK TO YOU, WHEN YOU YOURSELF DON'T EVEN CLICK MY USERNAME IN THE FIRST PLACE

Same as commissions and pretty much all art, ArtTrades will be on hold until I get some things fixed IRL.
I 'did' get a few requests for Art Trades, and as soon as I have time and mood to work on those, I will. I'll also post a list of the people I'm doing Art Trades with.

So yea... Life on this little corner of the world is sucking worse than a 2 dollar hooker... And I got no one to help me make it better...
So, guess what... Teh Gon's utterly fucked... 8D
'Why' you ask? Let's take it by topics, shall we?
- Family simply doesn't care... period...
- Parents also don't care, but they actually work their hardest to pester me and make my life even harder than it already is. And, guess what... I'll only be able to move the fuck away from home in one or two years... minimum... Effin' Awesome...
- As far as RL friends are concerned, the 'good' ones are either busy with their own lives, or powerless to do anything to help, while the 'others' simply walk away. Cool...
- Same with online friends. The ones that 'do' care, can't do much to help, while others hardly talk back, or ignore me completely. Which is curious, considering 'some' of those people frequently come to me when they need to rant or be emo or talk about what's making them depressed... and, no matter what I'm doing, I'm always there for them, listening to them and trying to make them feel better... and when 'I' need to talk a bit, they simply ignore me cuz they're busy with other chatwindows, 'RP yiffing' or actually screwing some new fuck buddy's brains out. Also cool...
- Job sucks, pays well, but its crap when it comes to work schedule and professional gratification. Some people might say "Stop your whining, you have an awesome job, I wish I had a job like yours!". Try to be stuck inside an office building for 9 to 15 hours, on a nocturnal work schedule, with NOTHING to do... see how you like that...
- Had to sell my car to cover debts. So, yea... THAT'S RIGHT, FURRY BOYS AND GIRLS... TEH GON IS NO LONGER ONE OF THE VWBOYZ... 8D I'm sure you can imagine how 'that' feels... Tho, that doesn't really matter, cuz...
- I won't be allowed to drive any motor vehicle because of a stupid speeding ticket I got last year and couldn't afford to pay. So, besides being confined to Portugal's 'awesome' public transportation grid, my only means of relaxation, which is driving, has now been taken away from me... which leaves me 'seriously' aggravated...
So you see... Teh Gon's life sucks pretty bad, right now. Tho I'll survive... somehow...
