Furpocalypse was great!
Posted 10 years agoSo Furpocalypse 2015 went down last weekend and I had such an awesome time there. There were plenty of spooks and scares to be had in celebration of Halloween. It was my third con and first time attending the full con.
Day 1: I departed as soon as I could after my classes on Friday. Traffic got kinda bad at times, which added close to an hour to my already 2 hour long drive alone in my car. Eventually I got to my hotel, which was just across the street from the main hotel, where I got to meet all the room mates. They were
zee-the-dingo, typhoonthetundrafox, bigztehwuff, and 
wolf_seisenbacher. They were all really awesome to hang out with and I'm glad to have had the chance to meet them. After getting to know the gang, I went to scope out the con space, and ended up in the video game room playing mariokart64 and a depressing game of mario party 3. By then, the rave had started, so i spent the rest of the night dancing like a moron with other cool people, who I don't know the names of. But they know who they are if you guys happen to find this.
Day 2:HALLOWEEN! I spent the whole day suiting as Renat. I ended up checking out the car show because two of the room mates were participating. After saying hi to them, I eventually made my way back to the video game for some 8-player smash brothers 4. I was having fun until someone pointed out that the fursuit parade was already going on. that bummed me out because i really wanted to be in it and maybe have gotten an ear tag. I moved on and walked around some more, meeting people, getting my picture took, etc. I made sure to get to the masquerade on time. There were so many amazing acts, including my friend
likavonwoofwoof and his singing. After that ended, me and the room squad, except for seisenbacher, went out for a delicious dinner at Chilli's. When we got back, half of us spent the night in, relaxing after the long day.
Day 3: So I managed to miss another event because as it turned out, the fursuit games ended at 2pm, not beginning at 2pm. Again, I was dissapointed, but then I found the noise box, spewing the sounds of john cena, rick astley, airhorns, dial-up tones, and alarms (to name a few) at unsuspecting button pushers. It was the highlight of the day, seeing how I spent two hours following it around and watching. I only stopped because it inevitably fell over and one of the boxes broke. As I waited for closing ceremonies, I decided to play a bit of piano, which people told me they enjoyed. The closing ceremonies were good. I got to dance up front afterward with the other fursuiters. Before leaving, I spent some time out front of the hotel, waving good bye to people as they left. I ended up returning to my car at 7:30. I filled up my car and got some snacks for the ride home, and I ended up chatting with the clerk about the convention. He said the whole thing looked like it was a lot of fun, which i told him it most definitely was. I wanted to stay for the last night party, but I had an early class the next day, so I wanted to be home at an appropriate time.
Overall, Furpocalypse was a blast. I made some awesome new friends and actually got in quite a few pictures (speaking of which I am yet to find any of them, so if you have any or know who does, let me know). I will definitely be coming back next year!

Posted 10 years agoI just took care of preregistering for Furpocalypse and I'm so excited! Furries = Awesome, Halloween = Awesome, Halloween + Furries = Maximum Awesomeness!
This will be my third convention, but my first time attending all three days. I am yet to find out if anyone else I know is going or what I'm going to do for the hotel situation, but that will come with time. After all, I've never dealt with staying at a hotel myself, and it's a bit intimidating...

Saturday at ANE 2015
Posted 10 years agoSo I attended the first ever Anthro New England last Saturday and I was not disappointed!
This was my second con ever, and my first time suiting at one. I finally got the chance to properly show off Renat, the zombie wolf partial I originally made for Halloween, but couldn't wear at Canobie's Screamfest. I mainly hung around with
f0xx0rzz and likavonwoofwoof. I marched in the Fursuit Parade and got a neat glowinthdark ANE tag. Later, I went attended the talent show and dance competition. I also spent a solid 4 hours dancing like an idiot at the dance.
My only regrets were having not met many people and not making sure to get pictures with all the amazing people I saw. If anyone has any pictures or videos they'd like to share with me, PLEASE DO! I hardly have any of my own.
In the end, I had the most fun I've had in a while and look forward to seeing some of you again at the next con.

Boston's Maltese Fur Con!
Posted 11 years agoLast Friday I attended my first convention! I was only able to attend Saturday but I was still had lots of fun and made some new friends. I managed to win a contest involving cookies being on my face, but it turned out that my "chance at $100" was a scratch ticket. I still won two dollars and everyone had a good laugh. I spent most of the day in the video game room making friends and then destroying these new friendships playing super smash bros and Mario kart. Later that night at the rave, it seems that I managed to impress a few people with my glowstick skills. I was sad when it came time for me to leave. I had so much fun with all you furs and hope to see you all again! :3

The only rules are:
1. Keep it generally simple. I still don't quite trust my skills enough to take on complex stuff, unless you don't care fir it doesn't come out very good.
2. Nothing of adult nature. The most I'll consider doing is light nudity.
If you'd like a sketch or have any questions, just send me a note.
I can't wait to start drawing for you wonderful people!

Easter and Uploads!
Posted 12 years agoJust got done with a drawing I started last week. It will be up by tomorrow evening once I have access to my scanner. I will also be posting a collection of stuff from my pocket sketchbook in the form of a collage-ish-thing... So yeah.
Life's been pretty decent lately. Easter was nice. Although the thought of that one last missing egg from my friend's egg hunt still bothers me. In theory, there were 153 eggs hidden on the property, by the time everyone was done with the hunt, 148 were left. Me and my friend managed to recover 4 of the remaining eggs, but one remained. I also got lots of chocolate, enough to last me a week. :3 And later, my grandfather gave me some electronics equipment. Lots of food and dessert for dinner, and it was all yummy.
If you have made it to reading this far, then I give you hugs! Also how was your Easter? I don't care how eventful it was or wasn't, I just want to hear about it.
Though for now, good night, my fuzzies!

Posted 12 years agoIts been a while since I've last drawn something, and I really want to get back on track. I am making this a public commitment so I don't just blow it off even longer. My hopes for the next week are to finish drawing a new sketch i started today, as well as putting some small stuff in my pocket sketchbook I recently started using, and putting them in a collage of little doodles.
Also, does anyone want to make pick up the other end of a failed art trade for a candycorn based pony drawing? It's been fully colored and ready to be traded for over two months now, and the other artist has not responded to any of my messages. I'm volunteering at the animal shelter!
Posted 12 years agoSo for my Nat. Honors Society community service, I thought that the greatest way for this wolf to get some hours in was to help out at the local ASPCA shelter!
I have gone through the orientation and basic dog training over the past week and I start my first shift tomorrow (well technically today cause it is past midnight). I will get to play with ALL the kitties and doggies and bunnies! Though my one complaint is, of what I've seen, there is an atrocious lack of hedgehogs! No creature can compare to the adorableness that is a hedgehog!
Anyways it should be fun. Laters!

If anyone has this PS3 game and wants to help in some filming, speak up and comment below. I am offering to those who attend a free (clean) drawing of whatever you want. I am leaving this oppurtunity/offer open to most anyone until the deadline of MARCH 7. further information is to be decided or will be provided upon request.
Once the project is over with, I will post a side by side gameplay/model video of how it turned out. I will credit all participants in the video's description and the link will be sent to you.

Posted 13 years agoSo the aftermath of Christmas has proven rather hard to escape, as I have spent the last two days doing nothing but playing Gary's Mod and Prison Architect. I finally got dressed today after spending the previous 40 or so hours in my new comfy pajama pants. Right now, I'm trying out my new stylus which came with the iPhone stand I got (thanks sis). Tomorrow (technically today) I will make an effort to do stuff I have to do, like clean out some stuff in my room and do some more arts. I am nearly done with the outlining to my current project and hope to start coloring soon.

Posted 13 years agoI was just taking a look through my profile, changed some stuff, added some stuff... I chose a name to start on for Shadow as well: Sebastian Shadowwolf. I was also thinking of something like Spencer or Shane, but chose this for the time being. Hope to be getting some more art done this week so we'll see how that turns out. I guess that's it... Hhhhhh
Umm... We almost just died on the highway.
Posted 13 years agoMy dad was driving us down the highway during the first real snow of the year. Not all the roads have been treated quite yet (the snow on the road is gliding around with the wind like a fine powder). Suddenly, the car ahead of us one lane to the left tries to switch into our lane. And that's when all hell breaks loose. He didn't expect the icy ness and started to spin halfway between the lanes. He manages to do two full spins before stopping in the small median of an exit. We almost started to slide as well trying to avoid slamming into him. So now we are creeping down the highway at a leisurely 35 mph.
gotta stop Being lazy...
Posted 13 years agoI have been putting minimal effort into finishing my next pic. It's mostly done in its hand drawn stage, but I still want to fix it up a bit and then color it. hopefully i will work on it some more over the next week.
