Back from FCN, been back for hours, since about 10pm. It was a great con. Though now I have PCD. I got no commissions, and I almost feel like i have nothing to show for the con. But I did come back with some insane new experinces.. and hopefully made some new friends, but We'll see on that. Things didn't go as pre-planned, nope, but what did happen was good too.

To the new friends I made at FCN, i can't wait to talk to you again. to the old friends i didn't get to see, please don't be mad at me. And to those who made the experince rock, you guys rock. Thanks of course to the Con Staff for running. And my Roommates TJ, Landis Blue and Riley. I may do a full con report later, but... I've already had a friend ask me not to say anything about the con cause he couldn't go. And with my already depressed mood, i don't really want to upset this friend.

At night, we sleep, and we dream. But life is about dreams.. Fulfilling dreams. Every day, is just another chance to accomplish a dream. Be it a small dream of getting your favorite meal, or a big dream of starting your own company. When you take those dreams, connect one to another, every day.. you have yourself goals. But through Passion into the mix, and you have ambition.

Every single Man, woman or beast on this planet has a purpose.. well, not so much a purpose, as an affinity. Something they enjoy, and something they are passionate about, that works towards keeping the world turning. Be it art, entertainment, or sience, there is no such thing as a useless talent.

Those are some lessons I try to teach myself. FOr the longest time, i looked around at the talent, espicially in this fandom. The ravers, spinner, flame dancers, artists... and felt like I had no useful talent. But the more I look into myself, i know I do. And maybe I can't show it in the triditional ways, but I do have that talent.

So, this has been a shitty week, and when I say Shitty, i fucking MEAN it. I learned new levels of Hurt, anger hate and Sadness.. in the last 5 days. So today, i Did something.. that.. I think everyone should do ONCE in their life. I had a nice meal. Like... $4 JUST for myself. It was something I've always wanted to do. So, today I went down to a local Steakhouse, and got an order of Fillet Mingion.. With a delicious salad, and a potato. OMG, was it incredible. And Between that, and the nice glass of Vodka and coke... For a few moments today I felt good.

But now I'm sitting in my room, staring at my walls in silence. Not very many folks are Online to talk to, and not much else... *sighs*

One of the things i realized the other day is why FA has done so much to kill my spark for art. FA feels like a community composed of Artists, and Fans of those artists. You're either one or the other. Unlike Y!Gallery or SheezyArt, where most of the people there were artists, it was a community of fellow artists. Here, you have to graduate from being a fan to oin the community of artists.

Here we aren't artists supporting each other, unless you've already reached a certain level of skill and fame. It's the iron gauntlet. That realization has also helped me rekindle my love for doing art. I think I may have to return to Y! or Sheezy, or maybe figure how to start a FA community of actual artists who don't separate themselves so much.

So, Xander and I are working on a new 3D anim. I know not many people know, or realize that I was involved in the last one. Of course Drakari was the other dragon involved, and I built the environment.

So a few weeks ago i presented an idea to Xander for another one. Well, he liked the idea, but even since then the idea evolved. I've spent the last 7 hours working on one of the items in the new environment. But.... let's ust say, anyone who liked the first one, You haven't seen anything yet.

I need some art tutoring. For a certain reason, i've been reflecting on my art this weekend. I like to draw, or used to. But I've decided I want to get better. Well first I want to get back where I was.

All the time i get a few tips, it's do's and don'ts that.. many times, contradict each other. But, you know, i'd just like some artist person, to take me under their wing and train me. Gordon Ramsay style. It'll all go into my 3D art style, but I need that 2D start.

Oh well, Wishful thinking, ya know?

THis isn't about Ego boosting nor just free art, this is about population of something cool and different. The tiger thread and Fennec thread is doing fine.. but panthers.. that's a new craze I want to start. Sure, Fennecs are cute as hell, and Wolves, dragons and tigers are sexy too... So, I had been looking over Fchan and recently noticed on /m they had a panther thread going. I was both shocked and amazed. But after 3 pics (2 of them posted by me) the thread has died. It's in the 3rd column.

So this morning, i tried an informal experiment. I poked around FA, looking to see how may furs listed panthers, or even Big Cats, in their Favorite animals list. Now that's not counting those who specify tigers and lions. The results were kinda interesting. Basically, i found, maybe 4-6 out of 50+ I think only 2-3 of them actually said panther. 2 said Big Cats, and 2 said Cats. Most were wolves and foxes. Did i mention one of the ones listing panthers was a panther himself?

Now, the topic was a bit of an exaggeration, I mean, it's not like I'm gonna fault anyone for it, but it's just kinda interesting.

[b]so I'm in my iPod touch and surfing FA and I get to thinking.... Wouldn't it be cool if there was a custom app for iPhone that was built for browsing FA?

Now I know there aren't many folks with mac. And less with IPhones. And finally foe an app to make it to the app store it has to be approved by apple. And since FA has so much porn. It could be against their TOS for the SDK. But what about Abdroid? Android is an OS that will be used on a lot of phones in the future. What if one made a nice FA app for Android. Lots of furry coders are familiar with Linux. And the SDk for android is free.

Anyone interested, comment here. I have some ideas for the design of the app. And if you see this, Dragoneer, let me know what would need to be done from the back end for such a project.

There are 2 kinds of people I can't understand.. Actually, I just hate them. Closed-minded people and Hypocrites. More often then no, these people come together into one.

I consider myself an open minded person. I'm not into a lot of things, but I'm okay with a person who is. As long as they don't try to force their view onto me, or they don't hurt anybody else.

Now 2 examples have recent brought this to my mind. One person is just closed-minded. He states his political views on his intro. It basically comes down to "I'm a capitalist, if you don't agree with me, you're trying to take from me, and I don't like you" No I've known him for years, and He's pretty true to his words. If you don't agree with him, there will be hell to pay. There is no "Let's change the subject" there is no "Let's agree to disagree". Nope.. And it's pretty sad, cause he was a pretty nice guy when I first met him.

Now the other person on my radar, you may disagree with me on this, but this kinda upsets me. After recent events concerning Gay Marrage, and it's banning, thre is alot of issue to gay rights. It's a grou of people who are denied rights because it makes some people feel uncomfortable. Now here on FA, i read the journal of someone who has a problem with someone posting, well, basically cub-porn. And in their words He "Just wants him off of FA" Yes, rules are rules, so as far as I know this person is gone from FA, but there is a sense of justice in me that feels... well confused. Art is Art. If his art was truly disturbing, like say, Children being ripped apart by a hyper, blood and guts showing, or being raped while stabbed by a knife.. Well okay, there might be some issue of.. well.. worry. But the example he said was "a little boy and a dildo". I don't think that's out of the ordinary. Now, also, I'd understand if this person were using real life models, or doing these things in reality. That's not Cool. But this is art, and fantasy. It's about releasing fantasies that will never happen in real life. Drawing, seeing so that we can imagine that we can be anything, from a twinky, beautiful, canine with human features, or and 7 foot tall hermaphrodite with 7 DDD breasts and a 20 foot cock!.. or 2..

But this person has decided that... The world should have to accept his gay relationship, and get over their uncomfortableness of him making out with another guy....... But this person who is making this art he disagrees with.. He shouldn't have to be inconvienced by even having the option to look at it.

I remember when FA first opened. After being kicked from SHeezy Art, or Y!Gallery, cause they were uncomfortable with our Furry porn, or Porn in general, and we thought they were so evil, for not accepting our fetish. Then FA, FOUNDED ON "Freedom of art" decideds to Ban a certain art type, because.. again.. it makes them uncomfortable.. I just realized that as I wrote that.. actually.

But I remember when FA first opened, and I didn't want to join because on the search list was Vore, Inflation, Macro... and these were things that was on a drop-down list as a Standard search feature. Hell t still boggles my mind that I can search for those mentioned fetishes, but I can't search by artist name! You know, this did squick me. But it was MY choice not to join. I didn't say the site couldn't exsist, I didn't dissuede others from joining, heck, i'm not some great artist that denied my fans my art work. I just Chose not to post. I continued to post to Y! Gallery. For no other reason then the Community there was of Artists, not furries. So It was Much more friendly. There is much more variance in art, which is amazing since all subjects need to be male. But the idea of Freedom for ME is human nature. It's what the US was Founded on. Our country was founded on the principal of Freedom, Religious Freedom, specifically. That's why all our leaders must be Christian. And now we see them trying to write Christian fundimental morals into law. Our Money says "In God We Trust" and our new president, must be sworn in on a Christian Bible.

But My views are my own views. You are more then welcome to disagree, it'd be awesome if you did agree. But I prefer to debate views, Not argue. I prefer something that says "I understand your view, but respectfully feel you're full of shit..." I kid... But you see what I mean.

So, i was looking at a book, an old sketchbook of mine.. and I realized... I used to be able to draw. I haven't done so in Years, because.. well alot of people stole the inspiration out of me.
