As I mentioned in some submissions earlier in the week, I was dealing with a nasty bit of flu for the first half. Though no idea how but it evolved into a chest infection on thursday. I've got some antibiotics for it so it should hopefully clear up for next week. As much as some of you interesting people would like your lungs to be coated in warm sticky goo, it's not as fun as it sounds, so it's been hard to focus on being productive annoyingly.
I've ranted about this in servers and twitter but thought I'd let you guys on FA know at least for being a bit of a slow bastard.

Here's hoping to coming back strong when it fully clears up and I don't sound like a fallout ghoul irl.

I'll probably read these after I wake up later. Though the delay on my TF randomiser has mainly been that the anthro species list has been hard to categorise in my mind. Mainly due to there being like 50 different cats and canines and one turtle or such.

What ways do you think would be good to categorize it?
Different families like mammals, reptiles etc
Different environments like domesitc, woodland, desert etc
Different attributes like size, appetite, air/water borne
Or just focus on ones that I'd find to be distinct enough from each other and toss similars?

Apologies to some folk in advance since I use voice, and I have a character I use exclusively for there since having a PNG that's also in a bunch of porn can just feel bizarre sometimes!

Blegh, never liked doing this since I should only be providing to you guys, not so much dossing you all with my bad vibes, though I suppose I just want to air out some stuff before I get a bit loopy, and I've noticed it's starting to affect my productivity fairly hard for both commissions and personal arts, which will need some addressing for sure.

My main issue, is I just feel isolated on here and in the community in general. I used to hang around in a small group of art pals, and was able to learn and grow, and just keep my finger on the pulse of the community. Now, the only person I've kept in contact regularly with there spends more time in another medium, and I haven't really found another group of likeminded weirdos I fully vibe with the same way in the TF space. This is obviously more of a 'me' issue of course, though it'd take some time.
There is another group that has welcomed me with welcome arms, and I'm very thankful for it, though I shall confess here it's around a theme I've a partial interest in art wise, so my activity there has been fairly loosey loose.

Another I've noticed is I tend to be overly wary of commissioners to the point of not posting stuff unless it's someone I trust closely. which has been very misguided on my end, and I think I've just nailed this one down to still not fully getting over one of my early commissioners, who started pleasant, and turned into an incredibly toxic and misguided person lashing out at friends of mine, and before I noticed too late, they were at my throat. I still apologise to friends who were targetted by this person. Also one of the reasons my discord server is still invite only and I dodge fresh friends trying to join, though I can't keep the walls up around myself forever.

This last one is more of a me thing, and I'm not sure I've talked about it publicly before, though from a young age I've was officially diagnosed ASD, and though have done a lot of work to improve myself, it still can lead to me being a bit of a dipshit in social situations or not being able to read the room if I've only just met. I do not wish for folk to change their approach to me due to this, just bear that in mind and be patient with me sometimes. Especially in group voice chats, I've got a very regional accent and I've noticed I'm the english final boss for folk who have it as a second language, due to that and talking weird.

I'm not sure this will be the last, but I hope it will be, just some online troubles to get off the chest, though sadly no personal issues to really tell you guys yet :v.

All in all though, I thank the folk who have stuck around so much, especially the ones that helped me go from MSPaint tier art to the somewhat legible stuff I have going today. I'm very grateful to you guys, especially the ones that have let me keep going with this silly stuff I'm doing here.

I've realised that those tend to get nuked if they have lewd stuff in it, so what's another alternative way to share and store art? I could use a cloud thing though they can be a bit of a faff.

Quite the year it's been I think. From games, to arts, or whatever really.

Since I'm going to be out of the house on the big day for my dad's 60th birthday and maybe won't be able to do a group picture like last year in time, I thought I'd take the oppurtunity now to do this.
Looking back, I'd say there's been some great ups and downs for sure, thought unfortunately I only got to put into action what I wanted to do at the end of the year, mainly since it was such a good year for games, so procrastination hit me fairly harder then I expected.
The secret shalon event was a success too from what I like to think. I should of done less pairing for it though. Main thing I would change is focus more on festive ideas, and start earlier and post it in submissions so it got more eyes than a journal.

Some new years resolutions for myself:-
- Probably to take care of myself a bit more, keep healthier, match a schedule a bit more, that sort of normal thing really.
- Get confident into reaching out into the community more. After having a 'never meet your heroes' moment with a bigger artist flipping on me out of nowhere after minor miscommunication on fanart (who's I've removed), I've grown withdrawn, but I want to change this.
- Actually use my diploma from university and think about getting into hobbyist game development, I'm gonna need help getting back into this one though xP
- Draw my own characters more really.
- Improve on my art! I feel like I'm starting to plateau a bit, though I'm sure I can push past it with some research and thoughtful but pointed words.
- Stream more often. Whether art on picarto/discord, or games on twitch. If the former I'll have to learn to not be such a zoom wheel monster before I give someone vertigo.

Since I want to test my randomiser out, this will be a mini raffle for 2 free entries for it, since I feel it's gonna be awkward how to go about them at first. So far the bodypart, inanimate and pokemon lists are complete, though the species TF one could do with some work. I used to be in a CTF one a while back, though I left hearing it might close down but I've heard it's still around.

Just so I can get my palate clear on the release of my next commission sheet and plotting out if I want to do another christmas event again. Yep. I'm finally getting around to it after like a year or so. I was debating a public one, but I've decided to make it patreon-only initially just so have an easier time getting used to moderating something that's not invite only. Provided it goes smooth I might think about opening limited slots for public joining or inviting more pals in, though one step at a time, either way there will be patron exclusive channels if I do.

Mini edit- I have clarified what will be kept as patreon only when I do make the server public, which I may do in a couple/few weeks to streamline this year's 12 days of inanimate to be transparent.

It's about that time and just want to let everyone know just in case. If you were interested in commissioning me in the near future, or you have approached and I haven't gotten back to you about it without turning it down, feel free to prod me again about it within the month.

It's this discussion again though not sure I've talked or asked about it here. Am curious on what people's thoughts are on it, or if an alternative subscribestar.

Just to make it clear, I'll very not likely use it for early releases of art, since I find it a bit eh for artists to hide their content behind a paywall personally but that's just my personal thoughts, people do what they want to do.
Private discord access too might be a little messy since moderation calls get very messy when everyone's paid to be in there.

The only other reason would be if I at some point start on a larger project like a mini comic, or maybe use my game dev diploma for something useful for a fetish game someday. I'd be down to getting advice around that, as long as you're not trying to rope me into your project immediately, though I'd rather people talk to me in private about that seeing how decisive and heated people can get to even talking about coding languages and engines.

Alright, so anyone who has commissioned me, probably knows that I'm really bad when it comes to actually posting them to these sites, so I want to maybe make a journal to clear some things up!

Just to make it clear, you're more than welcome to post it on your own accounts too, as long as you credit me of course, preferably if it's not a year or three old piece of course.
I'll make a habit to start uploading more regularly myself, although I'll ask you which sites you want me to upload to, likely here, and twitter, and I'll bug you for if you want to be anonymous or name stated. Alright, apologies for it being very short notice, but might start this up since it's 12/13 days away. Gonna open a slot a day (which can be prebooked) for £10 each, which will use a randomizer list of TFs (mostly inanimate) related to Xmas. Hit me up if you're curious! Preferably on Discord since this might be a bit of a back and forth.

This will help me with approaching another type of TF commission type in future, which is setting up randomizer stuff with a list friends helped me gather together, one for bodypart/absorption TFs, one with inanimate and one for species changes (anthro).

Just to let folk know, will be slightly upping my commission prices at 20%, so a full bod shaded would be about 24gbp instead of 20. I haven't changed them since May last year, so was due at some point, plus I have currently been made unemployed, so I will be leaning on my art a bit until my next thing.

I was thinking about trying to rekindle a patreon again, although I don't like the idea of paywalling my dumb musings, and at best would just be a way to get commission reductions or being able to poll for what dumberies I'd do next.

Just a little bit of a life update journal I'll be putting up to inform folks of my plans going forward.

As some of you know, I've been given termination notice at my job for the end of the month, though in fairness id wish it'd come faster since the owner of the firm at this point is harassing everyone, and especially me since I struggle to fight back with my bad social skills.

Since there's a chance it'll end up my primary monetary gain for a while, this November I'll be raising my prices by 20% ish, and ill think about doing deals for bulk or sequence stuff.

Until then, I plan to maybe do some Halloween stuff, likely ych or slots for phobia or spooky things, otherwise, if you've wanted to commission me in the past and haven't responded, please remind me before November.
