Time for my annual art update hahaha hope y'all like! sorry for the spam :I

Pretty much the only month out of the year where I do anything - it's Tastytober time! My spin on an October art prompt, but food based - expect 31 drawings of dragons enjoying one of life's finest things - delicious food!

Are dragons called scalies or do they fall under furries? Are dragons furries? Is furry like an umbrella term? Where not all furries are dragons, but all dragons are furries!? Man, who knows.

Finished up March 2021 and prior today, so just a few more to go until I'm caught up! It sucks since 99% of my art is traditional, so all I have are pics taken with my phone. They need lots of TLC in photoshop to be presentable on FA, so it's way more than just uploading. But that's okay!! I'm glad to finally have an art gallery caught up! First time since like... 2011... LOL

Just uploaded the last piece of 2020 art, and I'll begin 2021 later. Not as much in 2021 but the art is a bit bigger in scale! Lots of pokemon too. Hope you guys like it!

Finally finished Slowtember 2020 - 10 full illustrations based off houseplants made by megaelod if they're on FA (if not, that's their twitter/IG handle) - It was SO much fun and I grew a LOT from it, and re-learned to love art again. Hopefully that doesn't wane :V I and others have bought enough copics to keep the art train going, I'm not allowed to stop LOL

Right now I'm working on my own October art challenge dubbed "Tastytober", every day based off a food! And every day is gonna have a dragon inspired by the food. I finished Chocolate Chip yesterday and will upload it eventually.

Anyway, how are you guys doing? 8D I'm still kinda stuck in an endless art loop where I keep trying new things but never actually finish anything. But it feels nice. As they say - "Enjoy the process" - it's hard, but it's true!

Do you know who woke up one morning and realized they have all these old OCs who they love and cherish with all their heart because they helped them get through those crazy teenage years and make lots of friends but who hasn't drawn any of them in literally 10 years and who actually used to enjoy drawing and coloring and sharing art and being part of an art community and realized they lost that drive and passion when they became a cog in the capitalist machine needing to work to live and treating art as a chore not worthy of free time and would rather instead stare at the ceiling and since art is such a hassle and it's been so long without improving that the idea of needing to re-learn all their lost skills was just way too overwhelming and intimidating to bear but only recently found out through losing their craptastic job due to current events that without the burden of a career and with the gift of free time they can actually draw and spend time on things and enjoy the process and actually revisit all their old OCs and love and cherish them as they used to and reconnect with old friends and realize that the person they used to be is only as dead as they are made to be and are very much still alive and present but only if they choose to embrace a past self and mesh it with the present to create an incredible future?
