Emergency funds needed.
Posted 5 years agoMy partner just broke their only pair of glasses. These glasses are at least 2 or 3 years old, so they can't use their old prescription and need to get a new prescription to get new glasses. We have about $100 right now, which is not enough.
I'm asking for any help I can get for their glasses. They live on TANF, and I work 40 hours a week to barely support myself, let alone them and two small kids.
My PayPal email is thespektre00@gmail.com, you can send the money there. I'll take emergency commissions to earn it. If you can't afford to donate or purchase, a signal boost is also appreciated.

Emergency Commissions
Posted 5 years agoMy phone service ends in less than a week, and I don't have the $46 I need for another month of service. I'm offering PWYW commissions to scrape together enough for my phone service. My PayPal email is thespektre00[at]gmail.com
Psychotic break
Posted 5 years agoI have had 7 psychotic episodes this year, the most recent one still ongoing. Bouts of insomnia, hallucinations, memory loss, False memories, mood swings, paranoia, irritability, hostile lashing out, and violent and destructive urges have all been symptoms I’m experiencing during these episodes. The one I’m currently experiencing seems to also be my first ever manic episode.
I’ve called my psychiatrist and am hoping to either schedule an emergency appointment with him, or to get a referral to services to help me manage my psychosis. I’m waiting on a call back from him now.
Don’t worry, I most likely won’t be any less active on FA. I just thought I should let my watchers know what’s going on and give context to my erratic posts, submissions, and behavior lately. I won’t be going into detail about what has been going on to trigger these episodes. But those who are close to me are welcome to contact me if they want to know what’s going on. I’ll be happy to talk about it with those I know and trust if that’s what they want.
I will end this journal post by saying that I’m not shy about being open with the fact that I suffer from psychosis. I think that part of combating stigma is to normalize psychosis. And I want people to know that us psychotic people are just like you and everyone else. We’re just regular people. You might never know if someone is psychotic unless they are having a particularly bad day. It’s another invisible illness, and one I live with and have to manage every day.
I want my art, my writing and my drawings alike, to be a medium in which I can not only express my experiences with psychosis, but also destigmatize mental illnesses in general and psychosis specifically. It’s not common for me to be so candid on FA about my personal life, so this is a difficult journal entry for me to post. But I feel that it is important for me to make this statement. I truly hope that my experiences, and my art, can help others who suffer psychosis to both feel seen and sane, and to validate psychotic people and their struggles. And furthermore, I hope that my art helps neurotypical people feel safer around and more compassionate towards psychotic people.

Am I manic?
Posted 5 years agoI want to crack open my head like an egg and pour out the yolk of clawing hands and screaming faces trapped inside. I want to peel the skin off my arms and scratch the bramble-ridden fields of muscle underneath. Rocking in my bed and staring blankly at a point in space does nothing to calm the raging urge to stab myself between the ears so I can sleep. There’s not enough to do. Never enough to do. I’m so happy it’s making me frustrated. I have so much energy I can’t contain it. I’m about to explode. And I’m just thankful I’m alone, so I can just suffer and not hurt anyone. Thank the gods there’s nobody around for me to harm.
Luk Shadowgripper, another new OC of mine.
Posted 5 years agoI made a character to fit in the world created by
. this character is half Orc and half Drow, and is a member of the Shadowgripper clan of Orcs (another invention of mine with Wild-Rose's blessing). the Shadowgrippers are closely associated with the Drow and work together on training bats. it's not uncommon for Orc-Drow pairings to mate.
Luk Shadowgripper is the result of one such pairing. Luk is a low-ranking priest of Qarvon Ironfist, and grew up as an animal husband among his parents. he is a healthy 30-year-old Orc-Drow, having reached physical maturity at a young age (only 14) and has barely aged at all since then. however, due to the differences between his parents' cultures, Luk is seen as a capable adult by the Orcs but as a literal child by his Dark Elf father. this dual treatment leads to him being expected to perform all the duties of adulthood among his society, but at home guilt-tripped for acting like a stuck-up know-it-all child trying to be grown-up. appeasing his father is difficult for Luk, who is never sure how to reconcile his responsibilities in the community with the expectations at home. Luk's father insists on him studying and training to the exclusion of all other responsibilities, but Luk cannot set aside the role he plays in the village. so he is constantly overworked and stressed out. he respects his father deeply, but feels infantalized.
Luk is tough, perceptive, and persuasive. he is trained in medicine, theology, bushcraft, and combat. he's well-rounded overall, but as a result tends to underperform his peers. thanks to his studies he's a capable spellcaster with a broad repertoire of spells, though again he underperforms in their use compared to his peers. he is a licensed animal husband, trainer, and groomer.
Luk tends to become exhausted with people quickly, and finds peace with his flock. he'd rather be around them than other people, and tends to care more about animalia than the members of his community. despite this, Luk is kindhearted and always willing to help. he feels an obligation to serve, and to prove his capabilities, even if he runs himself ragged doing so.

Ancestry & Culture
Posted 5 years agoI received in the mail a most splendid item; a book I ordered from DriveThru RPG. it's titled Ancestry & Culture: An Alternative To Race In 5e. it's a 70-page long sourcebook for D&D 5th Edition by Arcanist Press, a 3rd-party publisher. it lays out optional rules for substituting playable races for characters of different ancestries and cultural backgrounds.
the way it works is, racial traits are divided into ancestral traits and cultural traits. things like size, speed, age, Darkvision, and resistances are considered biological and therefor depend on your ancestry. things like alignment, languages, ability score bonuses, cantrips, proficiencies, and other traits are considered cultural and so depend on your culture. the mix of ancestry and culture determines what your traits are.
this breaks away from racial stereotypes, as well as from essentialist depictions of race. it also allows for mixed-ancestry characters, such as Dwarf-Halfling, Orc-Elf, Human-Dragonborn, or Gnome-Tiefling mixes. and of course, it means you can play a character of one (or mixed) ancestry but raised in a different culture!
I ended up reading the book cover to cover the day I got it, and I don't regret it one bit. it was well worth the price, and I quite like the rules presented in this book. I think any 5e game I run will use these rules.
I also decided to adapt these rules somewhat for my 3rd edition homebrew D&D setting. I tweaked them a bit, though, to suit my particular take on how they apply to 3rd edition racial traits.
for one thing, while I mostly left ability score modifiers in the Culture half, I did allow some ability score modifiers to be ancestral rather than cultural. namely, the -2 STR of Halflings and Gnomes (because they are physically small and puny), +2 out of the total +4 STR of Orcs (because I really just feel that Orcs increased muscle mass is, at least in my setting, a biological fact) and the same treatment for my homebrew Leonin race (+2 STR from Ancestry, +2 STR from Culture), and the +2 CON, -2 WIS, and -2 CHA of Warforged (because I ruled that Warforged traits all come from their "ancestry", and they cannot have a Culture. Warforged are built, not born).
so in total I have a Human Ancestry, an Udori High Caste Ancestry, Udori Warrior Caste Ancestry, Orc Ancestry, Elf Ancestry, Dwarf Ancestry, Halfling Ancestry, Gnome Ancestry, Changeling Ancestry, Leonin Ancestry, and Warforged "Ancestry". and Cultures representing each of the nations of my setting, plus a few diaspora Cultures, including a Culture of nomadic humans that I was inspired to write up and add to my setting after reading Ancestry & Culture. they were just what my setting was missing (still need to give this culture a name and a language, though).
in a later journal I will follow up by posting the details of these Ancestral and Cultural traits.

good news! [TW: body talk]
Posted 5 years agoI'm excited to report, my breasts have grown to the point that I am now wearing training bras.
I'm still feeling tender and sore, so the fabric rubbing against them hurts. but after a while I can ignore it. so all's good.
soon enough I'm sure I'll fit into my real bras. I expect to be A cups or B cups when fully developed. the question is, will I keep them and get a binder for flat chest days? or will I get a reduction and invest in breastforms? I'm probably leaning towards keeping them and getting a binder. it'll be cheaper and I won't have to worry about chest hair.
so another question is, if I keep them, do I go for electrolysis on my chest hair? or keep the chest fur? will hairy boobs look ok? D:
gods, so many questions, why are bodies so complicated?
anyway, that's a little update on me.
expect more drawings in the meantime. I've been drawing alot lately and I don't expect that to stop any time soon with the covid 19 pandemic going on.
question: should I include pictures of the craft projects I've been working on? I've painted props for my LARP characters, and been working on their costumes. would y'all want to see that, or for me to stick to drawing and writing? tell me in the comments below!

free lewd stories
Posted 5 years agogimme an OC, and tell me whether they are Top, Bottom, or Switch, and I'll write a lewd story with them in it.
open for RP
Posted 5 years agoif anybody is itching to roleplay, I am open to roleplay. it can be SFW or NSFW. a variety of genres, just talk to me about what you wanna RP with me. I have a large roster of characters to choose from, and if you have one in mind you can take your pick. I also have no problem making new characters up on the spot.
it can be a simple meet-n-fuck RP, a sexual fantasy, or deep-dive romantic and/or sexual adventure.
or it can be a D&D style non-sexual RP. just good ol' fashioned roleplaying/storytelling.
~~~
aside from RP, I'm looking for something to write. so if you want your character in a story, for a limited time I'm doing free short stories. it can be as lewd or as tame as you like. who's interested?
Another new song
Posted 5 years ago3 hours outta town
And the water's just right
A yurt in the woods
And not a house in sight
Got my friends by my side
And good food in the car
Pillow and blanket on the bed
And I don't miss the bar
Taking hikes, playing cards
Walking down to the beach
Saw some seals and the birds
And had a bite to eat
Bought some gifts at the shop
And walked down to the pier
This has been the most fun
I've had without a beer
Take a trip down to Newport
If you ever make the time
It'll be the best thing
To ever cross your mind
Sand in your shoes
And socks soaking wet
Won't even slow you down
It ain't stopped me yet
Wind blowing in your face
Waves cold as ice
Still it's a healing trip
The experience is nice
Wake me up
When I'm back in Eugene
I never wanna leave
Newport's the best that I've ever seen
And the water's just right
A yurt in the woods
And not a house in sight
Got my friends by my side
Posted 5 years agoI'm looking up
At the stars tonight
And something feels
Just not quite right.
Long trails, wet sand
Dark skies, and sea
There's nothing better
Than not facing these
Thoughts about you
And how much I miss
The touch of your skin
The taste of your kiss.
Thinking about
What could have been
If I hadn't said
The things I'd seen.
And it's the same old
Story about my sin
It replays every year
Carving names into my skin
And it's the same old
Story about my sin
It replays every year
Carving names into my skin
There's Something that
I wanna say
But it would hurt
The both of us
So I hold my tongue
And turn my gaze
Hiding in my work
Pretending it's ok
There's something that
I wanna hear
But it's not fair
So I get off of this bus
And I yell into
My pillow with
Tears streaming
Down my red face.
And it's the same old
Story about my sin
It replays every year
Carving names into my skin
And it's the same old
Story about my sin
It replays every year
Carving names into my skin
And it's the same old
Story about my sin
It replays every year
Carving names into my skin
And it's the same old
Story of my art
It replays every day
Carving names into my heart.
At the stars tonight
And something feels
Just not quite right.
Long trails, wet sand
Dark skies, and sea
There's nothing better
Than not facing these
Thoughts about you
And how much I miss
The touch of your skin
The taste of your kiss.
Thinking about
What could have been
If I hadn't said
The things I'd seen.
And it's the same old
Emergency -- may lose my apartment
Posted 6 years agomy roommate and I share a room in an apartment, and... well... a disaster has struck. his journal explains it better than I could, so I will direct you to that.
https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9351045/
in short, his brother gave him a check that hew cashed. but they already spent the money on the check on things they needed. so my roommate's bank took the money out of his account. on top of that, his job didn't pay him because their new hour-inputting system is buggy. so now he's in almost $1000 in debt, and with me still in the process of getting a new job we're boned.
