Help finding an artist!
Posted 7 years agoHey folks, I need a bit of help. I absolutely suck at finding artists, and I need one that is accepting commissions, does them in a reasonable amount of time, and doesn't charge the entire farm. I'm willing to pay 70ish give or take for a single character shaded commission with no background. Could go up to 100 for something good if needed. IF you know of anyone, have a friend taking commissions, or got any ideas, please let me know! Thanks!

Posted 9 years agoIt's not, I promise. The election may not have gotten the result you wanted, but nothing is over, nothing is awful, and shit happens. Worse shit has happened, and worse shit will happen. Love those around you, stand up for what you believe in, and take a breath. We'll all be fine, and there's nothing that can be done about the election now. So stay vigilant, and make sure to vote, to be active in politics, or you have no room to bemoan.

kaoshin are moving to Athens, Ohio. I know, right? I have been accepted into the doctorate program at University of Ohio with a full assistantship! That means they are paying me a lot of money to get my Ph.D there. It's a great deal and the culmination of three years of work on my part. I'm lucky enough that my family and roomies are coming with me, and have their own plans in the area as well. If anyone around here is from Ohio, Columbus or other areas, let me know! We're looking to make some furry friends in the area. We'll be driving down on the 4th to the 7th or so. Wish us luck, and see you there!

Posted 11 years agoAlright, I need an artist that can draw dragonslayer Orenstein from dark souls 1/2, slightly altered. Mostly I want someone who can tackle the armor and make it look good, and apply that look to something else. I cant go into too many details here, as it's a secret, but it's a character wearing his armor (which is achievable in the game). If anyone knows of someone who has open commission slots and is good at that kind of thing, please let me know.

Posted 13 years agoWell... mostly. Took both my general and focus area masters exam today! Wow. Eight hours of writing, five questions, and thirty pages later I'm done. In a week or so I have to defend my writing in front of three professors. Then I'm done! I think... o_o I hope i passed. Been studying for this thing for three months, oy. Anyway, tired and happy.
