Just a heads up to all my fine and wonderful people in my queue.

I am going to be spending the next week pretty solidly cleaning, due to some rl stuff going on. As some of you know, I have a pending- move situation going on and landlord wants the house spotless for pictures to put it on the market. they want pictures on Saturday, So guess what I get to do~

Okay so...

Based on my previous journal I see many many people like the idea of high Fantasy pictures. These are wingits for the most part, Give me a theme, and a general idea and I will run with it. If you have a specific outfit, that is fine.

These are also experimental commissions, and well outside the normal pinup work I normally tend to find myself doing. So please be advised.

Going through some stuff at the moment, I am finding it very hard to draw or even concentrate. I was wondering if a few people might be interested in purely inspiration based commissions.

For these you would send me images you love, music, anything that inspires you along with the ref of your character and then I would just -do whatever- happens to inspire me from what you have given me. I know its super vague, but It would probably end up with some sort of emotional attachment, and more than the general 'pose here look pretty' art I tend to do.

GWAMPS
'Grumpy' Dragon Species

Basic Structure:
Approximately 4 feet tall, variations happen but this is the general size.
Coloration dependent on area and minerals they eat.
Wings/Fins on body. (Possibly arms, hips, back, and/or ankles, with multiple wings being a rarer trait) *
Large and/or strong jawline. They devour minerals, this is a necessity.
Come in a variety of body types, lithe to buff to thick to very round.
Can be male or female
Intersex possibilities: UNKNOWN
Nonbinary/Androgynous Pronouns: UNKNOWN
Always haven horns, large or small, they very Gwamp to Gwamp
Three 'gecko' like toes (unless Biome mutation)
Overly large forearms and hands comparative to body size.

Basic Reproductive Capabilities:
Reproduce as an species would through intercourse
Lay eggs like reptiles
Eggs look like rocks/gems depending on diet of the region.
In the case of same-sex reproduction between two Gwamps, a midwife uses magic to combine the DNA of the parents and form an egg via magic.

Basic Societal Structure:
Matriarchy, each biome “kingdom” ruled by a female and her trusted court.
Gender inclusive/neutrality. Regardless of gender, they are treated equal.
Each biome kingdom comes with its own culture and lore, though overlap is possible.
Each biome kingdom can have its own structural style (huts or corporate buildings, shacks or condos) *
Though each kingdom has its own ruler, they are all under one High Queen, who lives beneath the earth near the major crystal supply.

Swamp/Bog

There can a blend of biomes, for example Sea and Island Gwamps are often seen mingled together, or Volcanic and Mountain Gwamps frequent the same area.

Fish, berries and other natural foods for supplimentary diet.

Abilities:
Superior strength- particularly in their jaws.
Stealthy/Great at hiding/blending in
Mining/Ore finding
Minor arcane affinity
Flight * Rare rare trait
Size changing - (rarely used, very taxing on the body, must always return to 'normal'. Size adjustments are not perminant.)


General Description:
Gwamps are often mistaken for very angry creatures, though this is not the case. While they can't quite smile like any other species might, the corners of their mouths do turn up when they are happy and/or smiling. Their heavy jaw structure prevents the natural upturn that is associated with the natural 'smile'. They suffer from a case of permanent “resting bitch face”.

While there is no war between kingdoms/clans, there is infighting as you would see in humans, as not everyone will agree with everything all the time

A bit like magpies, they have a love of shiny things. Gems, silver, gold. They will often adorn themselves with it and even eat it as the case may be. Males will often 'peacock' by draping themselves in shiny stones and ore to attract a mate. Showing off ones wealth shows that they can provide, as it is both currency and food. A needed staple for life.

Gwamps are two parts nature, one part magic. They look alot like their surroundings, mountain Gwamps for example may have more clawed feet or even hooves to allow them to travel the steep terrian of their homeland, while lake or seafairing Gwamps would be more likely to be draped in seaweed with finned hands and feet. However these are rare traits and not always displayed by those who live in the environment, it is a helpful mutation that occurs sporaticly. They are still evolving.

Genericly, Gwamps can be described as small creatures, usually no more than 4ft tall, (though variations do occur. The High Queen, Deep in the earths core is rumord to stand at a little over 5 feet.) Males are generally taller than females, So females often are around 3'5". They have strong boxy jaws for crushing minerals. Batlike ears, which can swivel easily allow them to hear well in the caves they often call home, and to some extent see using echo-location in pitch dark. Thought not as good as a bat, it helps them navigate to some extent. The have very large hands for their bodies, strong forearms as well. The extra strength needed to help move heavy rocks, and large hands allow them to move larger objects with ease. Often they are seen with three "gecko' like toes, and thick club tails. The ends of their tails are very hard, composed of rock like bone which helps them to be able to crush rocks.

Gems play a large part of their daily life. No only do minerals and gems help supply them with needed nutriants, but they supply them with mana. Those closest to the core the and deep places of the earth often have the most access to this mana, and are the more ornate of the bunch.

So much mineral can build up in the body that it not only colors it, but it can begin to form in hard patches of skin on the body, in these areas the Gwamp's have been known to harmlessly carve into their skin to set in stones/gems they like, Rather like humans consider tattoos. The Gem formations you see growing on Gwamps are not natual occurances, and unique to every Gwamp.

In addition to bejeweling themselves, they will also take things from their environment to dress in, as to better hide and blend in with their surroundings. (not that they dont wear 'human' clothing, they will do so If they wish, but this is not the norm for Gwamp culture) Moss, grasses, flowers, vines, seaweed, sticks, stones, anything that can be used or seen as 'pretty' to the Gwamp is fair game.

The High Queen And The Monarchy

The High Queen is always in rule, and has been for thousands of years. While her normal life span, as with any Gwamp is only a few hundred years, The High Queen because of her steady diet of mana crystals, is a very magcial force. Upon her death she re-incarnates umong her subjects. She could be found anywhere in the world, in any of the Biome kingdoms. She will have no recolection of her previous life. The High Court, comprised of her trusted elders and wisemen and women go on a pilgramidge to find the new Queen. This has been known to take as long as 50 years. During her absence, the High Council reigns, and all things are put to a vote.

On their quest, the high council members will seek out children and have them choose from a few items that the Queen possessed, and some she did not. Which ever item they feel drawn to helps narrow down the search. Once a child has chosen correctly, they then undergo a simple (week long) training, testing various aspects of their personality, thoughts on the world and affinty for magic. No one can know for absolute certainty that the Queen has re-incarnated to the chosen child, but this is how the Queen has been chosen for generations.

Occasionally a Male child is chosen, while this is a very rare occurance, the Gwamps do not hold much stake in gender, and the title of High Queen still remains. Though if the particular Gwamp takes issue with this, the title can be changed. Only one instance of a 'High King' has been recorded in written history.

Each Biome has a ruling Queen, who will occasionally leave their home to seek council with the High Queen deep in the earth. This is considered a dangerous jouney and as such, Queens, while elected by the people they govern, are often the largest, tallest, more magically advanced of their people. This is to help ensure their survival during their journey and to help create strong family lines. The Queen of any Biome will often have many mates, both same sex and otherwise. Whille other Gwamps may do the same, it is rarer for lower class Gwamps and they generally only seek out one mate, and mate for life.

What To Do:
Roleplay as a Gwamp in the world Setting, or out of Cannon as you wish
Get art, draw art, of your Gwamp
If you own the base, you may make Gwamps for yourself, others, or even sell them profit.
If you do not own the base you may still make a Gwamp for yourself but it must be sent to me (Shariea) for approval to be considered a 'Gwamp' in the cannon story.
Approval is not nessicary if you do not plan on making your Gwamp in the Cannon world created by myself.
You may re-sell your Gwamp and any artwork aquired of it.
Give credit to the creator/artwork if using the artwork I have drawn/the base



What NOT to do:

Make a Queen/King/High offical for the storyline with out prior approval.
Edit the artwork with out permission.
World build into the cannon storyline with out approval.
Make drastic edits to the point that the base no longer looks like a Gwamp. These will not be approved.
Do not make Gwamps for Sale with out the base.
