General | Posted 5 years agoyou guys already heard it's culture, religion, and lifestyle, I guess now after laying this off for over a week due to focusing on recent events that occurred (the violent riots, the murder of George Floyd, and the peaceful protests) it's high I did more journals about my fursona's world.
this time about Animalia's economy and system of government, the U.T.A government system is a unique form of capitalism called "eco capitalism".
eco capitalism is a regulated form of capitalism, meaning that strict rules and regulations are set to ensure that any kind of business practice or product development is not a legitimate threat to the eco system/enviroment as well as making sure that any kind of business practice and marketing is fair and non fraudulent and that any kind of product developed meets the quality standards and no company is trying to cheat and take a shortcut to compromise quality and safety to increase profit gain.
to sum it up in a nutshell, it's basically capitalism on a leash and carefully monitored to ensure that big corporations don't get out of hand and run amok, cheating and ripping off consumers.
a good example of how this system works?, Bethesda Studios, Nissan, Ford, and EA were banned from establishing and conducting business in Animalia because of their shady business practices, poor quality products (some that even compromise safety), and ripping off consumers and ignoring their complaints regarding the quality and reliability of their products.
as of recently?, Nissan is now granted permission to establish manufacturing plants and a network of dealerships in Animalia after the government reviewed their recent records of their practice, Ford is also given permission as well but they are closely monitored to ensure the product quality meets their standards, Bethesda Studios and EA however are still banned from conducting business in the U.T.A to this day.
with such a system unlike regular capitalism like in America for Example where it's run rampant and almost extremely krony (aka krony capitalism), eco capitalism literally allows citizens equal opportunity to a slice of the pie meaning everyone has a chance to making a healthy financial nest eggs and even possibly getting rich as well too if you're really good with money and setting up an investment plan, there's even equal opportunity for citizens with big dreams to able to afford to open their businesses, sometimes if needed, financial backing from the Animalian government, and they won't charge interest for a government loan either, making it easy for small business owners to pay off their loans and yet still have money to run their newly opened businesses and eventually grow.
because of this system, poverty is all but eradicated in Animalia, the country's vast wealth and efficiency is responsible for that.
so for any furry back on earth that may be suffering from the effects of krony capitalism running wild due to shady business practices and sometimes if not often illegal practices making the free market not so free at all?, eco capitalism is an example of what capitalism is really supposed to be and how it's really suppose to work and be managed.

my fursona's world: Animalian culture, religion, lifestyl...
General | Posted 5 years agoAnimalia's culture is quite unique, for they are all about naturalism, a society that's one with nature, and one with nature being eco-friendly and living and embracing a naked lifestyle, they have a clothing industry producing they're clothes but it's only for certain things like fire safety, broadway and movie cinema, and just decorative fashion for example, all in all?, Animalians prefer the natural naked lifestyle, because for them, it's they don't feel the need for clothes when they have fur, they like to live like their wild feral ancestors, and for them, being naked is the best feeling for them and the most relaxing way to live, the feeling of a cool breeze blowing through their fur, feathers, or scales, walking barefoot in the grass, it's the most comfortable and relaxing feeling to have and they enjoy it, plus avians and dragons?, clothes only drag for them making them tired quicker when they're trying to fly, so they always prefer to be naked when they fly.
the natural lifestyle and culture isn't just limited to how they live, it also has root in technology and industry, Animalians strive to embrace technology and technological advances while trying protect the enviroment at the same time through constant and development, as a result?, overtime, they created a sustainable world and society that is not only technologically advanced but also eco friendly and one with nature.
their architecture is also quite unique and breathtaking, blending natural features with modern urban design and can rise just as high as some of our skyscrapers on Earth yet they're designed in a way where winds can blow naturally around them with ease without making the buildings lean putting stress on them, all buildings from skyscrapers to houses feature grass tops for roofs, some with trees or plants including hanging plants to absorb the tiny amounts of co2 produced and I mean tiny as in not enough to even cause a pollution problem.
most of the buildings can even generate their own power thanks to built on solar panels and some even have vertical wind turbines to produce a little extra power whenever the wind blows, in fact, you'll find lots of solar and wind farms in Animalia, 90% of Animalia's energy comes from electricity from solar and wind farms, the other 10% comes from natural gas, bio diesel, hydrogen h20 energy (for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles) all 10% of that energy goes to powering vehicles and public transportation.
as a part of Animalia's naturalist culture laws and regulations call for 100% pure natural organic food and must be made only natural ingredients, herbivores have no problem with eating only natural food for they're vegetarians by nature, as for carnivores they have adapted to this as well, because they require a high amount of protein for nutrition, the menu for carnivores is usually composed of a lot high protein based organic foods such as eggs for example.
physical fitness is also an important of animalian life, so important that is a mandatory part of school curriculum, young Animalian students are treated to daily fitness routines such a gymnastics and martial arts, as well as fitness routines for mental fitness such as meditation and scripture reading, as a result?, Animalians were very physically fit and healthy people who even can still look and feel very young and energetic and active even at old age, Animalian men were very handsome while Animalian women very beautiful even at old age.
Shawn Skunk's family who came from Animalia and settled on earth in the United States were very healthy, physically fit and handsome and beautiful and even the elders still looked like they were in their mid 20's to early to mid 30's including Shawn himself who's going to turn 30 years old in July this year 2020.
as passionate and they are of their naturalist culture and lifestyle, Animalians are also religious people too, not all of them though but almost good majority of them are, the religion they practice is called Creationism, what's Creationism you ask?, well Creationism is the furry take on Christianity, the practice is almost the same as Christianity, Animalians believe in and worship the same god as christians and they too believe he is the one true god and they also too believe in Jesus Christ.
but there is a slight difference between Christianity and Creationism, Creationist honor and worship God, they worship God the same way as Christians, but Creationist Honor through the practice of protecting, conserving, and preserving his creation believing it is a gift to them from God and therefore care for his creation as a way showing appreciation for Him and what He has done for them.
in Creationist practice, God is referred to as the Divine Creator and his son Jesus Christ is referred to as Aslan (sound familiar? https://youtu.be/NEgNDENe3WM), in fact in my fursona's universe lore, it is rumored that C.S. Lewis got his inspiration for his character Aslan in the Chronicles of Narnia from when he went on a galactic trip to the planet Eden to Animalia and got a first glimpse at the practice and lore of Creationism and there he was inspired to create the lion character Aslan for his Chronicles of Narnia book series (and in you're wondering how that's possible?, steampunk technology actually existed on Earth in my fursona's universe so early Jules Vern style space travel was actually possible and real, and in fact that's how the people of Earth discovered Eden and country Animalia, more on that later for another journal).
oh yes one other I forgot to mention, as part of their naturalist lifestyle and being one with nature and living almost like their feral ancestors

my fursona's world
General | Posted 5 years agofor a long time I had a fursona made out but never really given any thought about his world, he was born in the United States in Tennessee but his family isn't from America much from Earth, his family comes from a country on another planet in a star system nearby, the plnet is called Eden but scientist on earth call it Alpha Centauri (Sid Meier's Civilization anyone?), the country on the that planet?, the U.T.A (United Tribes of Animalia).

passed away I was emotionally devastated
I only known him for four years when I joined FA but it felt like to me I've known him for a lifetime
after hearing the news I couldn't stop crying
at the time I was I was winding down getting ready to go to bed early because I was to get up early to be at work by 7:00 AM and I was completely focused on getting up early for work until while checking journals on my FA messages I learned about Quasi passing away from Quincy Raccoon
after that I couldn't focus on work anymore I was torn apart by the news
I said my prayers praying for God to be with Quasi's family and friends and give them comfort and it was emotional I couldn't pray without crying it was too much for me to bare
and just as I was about to go to bed I received a message saying there was a change in plans I had the day off today
I was supposed to go to work today but then a sudden change in the plan and I suddenly been given the day off and I didn't tell anyone off of FA about this and for some reason the decided to postpone the work we were supposed to do today on the 8th of December and take the day off for all of us including me
and it didn't take me long at all to realise that God may behind this sudden change in plan I can't think of any other explanation than that
I don't have to guess that he knew I was going through a lot of pain that night I knew he knew I was going through a lot of pain and decided to give the day off from work to try to get over the emotional pain I was going through and I'm extremely grateful for his compassion and comfort
God really is a compassionate God and that night he had reminded me that He's there for me and just like H'es there for everyone and anyone in need of comfort or help and support which is I will never stop believing and never stop seeking him
if any of you out there especially close friends of Quasi are going through emotional or difficult or spiritual challenges in life and feel like you've hit a dead end ask God to help you He will guide you and help overcome those roadblocks
He loves all of you and wants to be in your life and hew wants to help you
all you have to do is give him a chance to prove it for he is a miracle worker

I received news that Quasi Skunk has died in a car crash
I've known Quasi on here for a long time I've watched his page and commented some of his art and chatted with him since I joined FA back in 2012 he was a good friend and I wanted to meet him one day but now i'm gonna miss him
and possibly regret not talking to him sooner have I known this was going to happen
may he rest in peace QnQ
right now I'm gonna be off FA for a little while to take a break and have some alone time
I will be back soon I just don't know when

To think Ford does it again and on the their 50th anniversary of their first le mans victory no less
They didn't get a 1-2-3 sweep type of like they did back in 1966 but they came close to one the new Ford GT's finishing 1st and 3rd
So I give my hardy congrats to Ford for an incredible feat and my hardy congrats to Chip Ganassi as well they earned it ^^
Now if you excuse me I got a victory to celebrate *rejoins the Ford drivers in the winner's circle and celebrates with them*

The drift craze
General | Posted 13 years agoat the time I started racing in Gran Turismo I already knew what drifting was and there were sometimes that I try to drift a car back in Gran Turismo 4 but didn't work out quite well no way matter many times or how many ways I tried it. I looked at Youtube video tuturiols to get an idea on how to drift a car and then tried doing it exactly the same way the other gamers did in the Youtube videos but failed at it completely and that's only because whatever I try to drift keeps whipping it's rear end out too far out and spinning out of control. it wasn't until I saw a Youtube video of a guy drifting a Shiuchi Shigeno version Toyota Sprinter Trueno on Gran Turismo PSP and then saw some drift tunning tips that the user left in the comments that I was able to finally drift a car and learn how to do it right. so I gave it another try but this time on Gran Turismo PSP doing the same tune up as the Youtube user did to his car and this time when I started drifting it was whole drifferent ball game for me now I was finally able to drift and maintain a drift and after a few days of practice I was finally getting the hang of it. when I got Gran Turismo 5 and I joined the Playstation Network and was able to access the community feature I was suprised at how many rooms there were devoted to drifting so I got in a room to watch some drifting then done a little myself and just I was getting started I got t boned by another drifter that was just starting to counterdrift through an S turn and that's just totally threw off my groove and so I decided to just be a spectator and watch them drift after cause I was afraid I start ticking off some people if I keep running into them while the're drifting. later on I was watching one guy in a Tom's Chaser do what drifters call a manji drift I commented on that and then later he was helping me out on my drifting and helping me to perfect my drifting skills. he gave me some drift tunning specs for me to use and then gave me a Black 2007 Ford Mustang GT Premium with custom gold rims that he tuned to his own drift tune specs and then I followed him into a room at the Tsukuba Circuit and he showed me how he drifts. so after all that my skills as a drifter improved a little and I was able to drift almost like a pro I don't do it as much as I used to but there are still some days that I'll do it every now and then but that's it I mostly focused on grip driving because that's what I did best.
Nascar (America's sport that I always watch)
General | Posted 13 years agothere was one time in my virutal career after I got Gran Turismo 5 I wanted to take on Nascar after I learned that GT5 has Nasccar. first time around using the 2010 Denny Hamlin stock car that I won from the Jeff Gordon Nascar school in Special Events. I won my first championship winning every race but Daytona so I tried it again and again doing different tweaks to the car until finally on my seventh try I finally won Daytona. during that time though first time around it got a little scary racing a stock on the road course the stock car would easily lose it's grip with the track and spin out of control and sometimes crash. I learn quickly that the game turned off the traction control and skid recovery force for road course racing but that can be easily fixed by turning them both back on and each time I get ready for a road course race I would have to go to the driving settings and turn them back on cause the game kept autoamtically turning them off. but I won myself a Nascar championship cup and left my name in that great american sport and then moved to other racing series in GT5.

General | Posted 13 years agoI decided to go compete in the GT world championship nearing the end of 2006. I didn't have very much credits so I competed in some special condition events to raise some credits and I bought an 88" Jaguar prototype race car. I had it tuned and ready to go within the next five minutes after buying it and then took it racing. the first time round I tried to make the best show possible but I finish the first race miserably finishing in eight position out of twelve. after racing the Jaguar through the whole season I only managed to pull a couple of top five finishes and only one win. soon after that I sold it and bought Gillet to compete with and that too finished miserably in the points standings. the next year later I tried it again but this with a Mercedes Benz prototype race car and a set of super soft race tires but once again things went wrong. the super soft tires I was using were only good for qualifying rounds and they wore out after about five laps so I was forced to pit because of that and as a result I finished the season in the points standings a lot worse than I did last time. so I decided to go with super hard compound tires after I learned how durable they were and stuck with them but even with those tires I still finished miserably with the car so I got rid of it after that and I didn't compete in the GT world championship anymore until the right car came along as I progressed through Gran Turismo 4. in 2010 the wright car came to me one day after I won an endurance race at Fuji Speedway. it was a 1989 Toyota 88C Race Car when I won the car and I took a good look at it first and I thought about the GT world championship but then I started to think about how that car would perform in the championship. I didn't think it would do well at first so I decided to take it racing in an all Japan GT race to see for myself and I won first place in it racing that car purely stock. I didn't do any tune ups on it at all just drove as it is and I won in it so after that that's when I decided that this would be the right car to race in the championship. I took it to the TRD tune shop to have it tuned and then once again entered the GT championship. the car after I tuned it generated almost 990 horsepower. once I started the championship the Toyota 88C prototype took off like a rocket it felt like I was driving a Bugatti Veyron cause it acellerated like one it was really really fast. I was passing cars like they were standing still and was easily beating every last driver in that field and I won the first race easily while almost lapping some of the drivers. I won every race in the GT world championship and ended the season finaly winning my first GT world championship title in 2010 and then did it again a year later in 2011. the only reason on why I was so fast with that Toyota 88C prototype and was able to beat my competitors and win the championship so easily and then to do it again the next year later was probably because in my own theory I an...honest 200+ horsepower on the competition in case I needed it.
my start in auto racing(virtually not reality).
General | Posted 13 years agoI started racing cars back in 2006 but virtually not in reality I got my start in living my dream when I bought a game that I never heard of before called Gran Turismo 4. after I first tryed it out I instantly fell in love with Gran Turismo and I was hooked after that and decided this is how I'm gonna start living my dream. if I can't acheived my dream of a career in auto racing for real I can sure do it virtually. my first car in Gran Turismo was a teal colored 1991 Mazda MX-5 (Miata) I had it tweaked a little it generated 180 horse power and I won my first race at the Autumn Ring in it. I won the Sunday Cup with it then added 30 more horsepower in it and won FR challenge before I sold it to go buy a truck so I could compete in the Pick Up Truck Challenge. but that's how I got my start in auto racing it's not in reality like I wanted but still at least I'm getting to live my dream.

General | Posted 13 years agoI watch my first Nascar race on tv when I was 5 years old I liked to watch some of my idols like Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Bill Elliot I watch the races every Sunday whenever I can and I used to carry a giant plastic toy stock car of Bill Elliot around when I watched the races. as I got older I started watching other types of motorsports such as World Rally, Grand Am, and Le Mans. I was sometimes on my feet watching the last moments of the race. and then were some days only a few times at least my parents took me to some races. my dad took me to see Nascar Nationwide series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway when I was 18 we were watching the race with a company called Fastenal who gave us tickets to see the race with them and watch a driver they sponsored and I knew nothing about that driver nor can I remember his name. but I had a lot of fun watching that race.

General | Posted 13 years agoit all started when I was only an infant. my parents took me to an Indianapolis 500 race when I was probably about one years old. I have no memory of that day all I know is my parents took with them to see what I would refer too as one of the biggest specticles in auto racing history but after that day and that race I was forever in love with cars and auto racing and wanting to compete in motorsports.
