Posted 9 years agotrying to work through it but we only have 10 days left here in our home ... well I guess it isn't really our home anymore
Mom is going to take care of my kitty
life is pretty crappy right now :<
We won't be able to move into a new place until June so we will be living with my father in law for a while until we get on our feet again.
I won't get to have my kitty with me until we get into a new place so that is making me really sad.
It just seems like everything is going wrong :(
Probably going to have to close my SL club too

Loosing our apartment.
Posted 9 years agoI don't know how active I'll be on here until I'm at least sure that we won't be homeless.
Hubby came home from doing an odd job yesterday evening to find a note on our door. We have until April 30th to be out of here and in a new place. The note was basically them saying that they do not want to renew our lease agreement. Our building has recently been bought by a new owner who is basically, slowly giving all the old tenants the boot so that they can renevate everything and raise the rental prices.
This could not come at a worse time for my hubby and I as we are both in between jobs. I am in training for a tech support job and he is looking for a somewhat labor intensive job and has been applying to places as quickly as he can. (He likes to work at places like Lowe's or stocking jobs).
I've been terribly upset since we got the notice and have yet to sleep, my head is still pounding from my first anxiety attack in over a month and I am still stuffy from the tail end of a stupid head cold.
The silver lining
Or at least what I hope will be the silver lining...
We are researching a rental place that is not too far from where we are now that would be around 700 a month, it allows cats and the max limit is 2, which is fine because we only have 2 cats, pet deposit is 200 each. It also has a pool, and includes some utilities in the rent. Having a place to swim would be amazing beyond words and would vastly improve my quality of life. I could actually, comfortably exercise again.
And they have dishwashers! I never realized how much we take dishwashers for granted until I didn't have one.
If I can just get this job and somehow know for sure that we will have a place to live after April 30th, I will be so much less freaked out. I also feel a bit betrayed because this place really felt like home.We have lived here for a year and a half. I'm sad and disheartened and scared.

Dreading this birthday and a vent
Posted 10 years agoOk so My birthday is on Jan 19th and I'll be 25
And if my current track record continues it will probably suck
Originally my mo wanted to take us to the beach for My 25th and Dad's 60th Birthday but that fell through because they wanted me to plan everything but would not give me any useful information. They wouldn't tell me what our price rage was, they just kept pressuring me to find cheaper and cheaper hotels but if I dared to look at anything that wasn't a 4 star or 5 star hotel mom would throw a fit. I think they wanted a 4 or 5 star hotel with 2 bedrooms for under 100 a night on MLK day weekend. The only deal I could find was a stay 3 nights get 2 free deal but then dad fussed because that was too many nights.. and basically I could not find anything to make everyone happy and it is all my fault -_-
So then mom wanted to get me a B-day gift .. and that is when the whole, hunt for a premade head thing happened, I couldn't find anything I wanted and finally convinced her to just get me some needle felting supplies. She put so much unnecessary stress on me during the hunt for a head though and just wouldn't let up. The hotel and the head thing were stupidly stressful and irritating considering i had actually made birthday list of things she could have gotten me, but apparently the things that I would actually like to have are just not good enough.
Then tonight happened
We were chatting about normal bs, like the cable bill here and what the birthday plans were supposed to be. I thought we decided after the beach trip fell through to just get together and eat at a restaurant that I like up here in g-boro. But no that isn't good enough either, she either wants us to come down there or she and dad are coming up here and while they will go out to eat with us she basically threatened to come in out apartment and check how clean it is and then she went on a lovely tirade. This time though, I followed my friends advise and was civil and after I said "Stop" I just turned off chat and left her to her own devices ... so... yeah when I went back and checked the chat is was quite full but she eventually puttered out.

Last year my dad stormed out of the restaurant
it is always worse on "milestone years" too , like on my 16th Birthday, when my boyfriend back then excused himself to go use the restroom, my dad though it would be a great idea to tell me that all I would ever amount to was a barefoot, pregnant, housewife. I'm so freaking stressed and anxious, I don't even want a birthday at this point, I just want it to go away.

Once again Christmas was ruined

She accused us of not managing money properly

Our Car Battery died tonight
Posted 10 years agoI thought all was well and hubby had made it to work ok but I was mistaken.
He got home around 1:30 thanks to some nice people that kept jumping the battery every time it would die, which was like a few yards he said
So hubby is home and I have sent a text to the 2 managers that I know worked today and I know another manager will see this post. Figured he would see this when he woke up.
I guess we will be calling out of work tomorrow because we have to take the car to the shop somehow and get a battery somehow if this one is totally dead.
On the bright side I met with the owner of the online radio station today and that seemed to go pretty well, and I have a scheduled set at the Ice palace club on sL on Sunday 7-9pm slt, electronic Christmas/Holiday music.
If you need an online DJ for anything on SL feel free to ask this weird bug thing.

Apparently no one thought it would be a good idea to tell us of a schedule change until now -_-
In other news if I'm really luckly I might get a job at an up and coming online radio station that pays pretty decent. I was recommended by one of their current DJ's.
