Mourning her loss.
I'm leaving to go back home for 2 weeks on tuesday.
I work all day tomorrow and sunday.
(And I work at a pet store...I don't even know if I can handle it after losing Felix.)
So I'm sorry if I seem a little slow for the next 3 weeks or so.Free yarn tail raffle! (CLOSED)
Posted 13 years ago Yes folks, that's absolutely right. I'm going to be having a free yarn tail raffle!
A few guidelines!
* The tail will have options to be a minimum length of 18" inches, and a maximum of 24" inches.
* I can only do tails that actually involve fur. IE: wolf, fox, cat, etc. I cannot do horses, dragons, birds, etc.
* No more than three colors, and no complicated patterns. So prepare for that when commenting! If you are the winner and you do not meet these specifications, I will pick another number!
(Simply because I am doing this out of pocket, and scraping by to pay rent. I don't want to seem picky but I only have so much money in my pocket, yakno?)
* You do not have to be watching me, though I will be announcing the winner through a journal!
* I will ship to the US and Canada only. This is free, after all, and I can't afford to ship it overseas.
How to earn tickets:
* Comment on this journal saying you want a number, and you get 1 ticket number.
* Watch me, and you get 1 ticket number.
* Pimp this journal, and I'll give you an extra 1 ticket number. :] (Make sure you link me to your journal! I will be verifying the links!)
* I'm pretty much broke, but I still want to do this for the fandom. SO, if you'd like to donate a dollar towards this for supplies, I'll give you an extra 2 ticket numbers. (This does not mean the more dollars you donate, the more numbers you get. 5 is the maximum numbers anyone can receive, to make it fair.)
**If donations are given, and I get more than I expect, more than one winner will be chosen.**
I'll be ending this raffle on Monday, July 2nd, 2012 at noon CST!
I will be going on a two and a half week vacation starting the 3rd of July, so this will not be started until I get back.

We're fighting for our right to love whoever we want, when all of you never had to fight for it. For the record, I don't care what the bible tells you to do. /sarcasm Because I really believe that some invisible man in the sky loves me, but gives me all these rules and if I break them he won't love me anymore. /end sarcasm STFU. Completely stressed
Posted 13 years agoI completely stressed myself out with really short deadlines.
My job at the pet store, even though I sliced my availability in half, is really driving me up a wall.
And despite my efforts, I still can't pay all of my bills.
Which stresses me out even more.
From now on, I won't take commissions with deadlines that I realistically cannot achieve.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

If you've been watching me for a while, you seen me auction off quite a few toys that I hand customized.
Well now, I'm going to start doing them more. And not just the Friendship Is Magic ponies, but also your ponysona! You heard me right! Your ponysona! :D Any pony you want, really!
Depending on the size of toy you choose and what your ponysona looks like will be what the prices look like.
All are customized with acrylic paint and sculpey clay (if that's what I need to use)
Blind bag customs stand at about 2inches tall, and will be customized to fit your 'sona (or any other pony you might want). These are customized off of a vinyl pony base. There are a few bases to chose from that I can work off of. The hair cannot be customized for these at this time, sorry!

The regular sized ponies stand at about 3.5inches, and will be customized to fit your request as well. These are customized off of a vinyl pony base. The hair can and will be customized, using sculpey clay!

GOING TO THE POST OFFICE TOMORROW FINALLY
Posted 13 years agoSorry for everyone who's been waiting for me to mail stuff out... I had an interview today when I was heading out to the post office, so I totally didn't get there before they closed. I go back for another interview tomorrow, yay!~ But anyway.
So tomorrow, after work and my second interview (which is way early in the morning), I'll be heading out to the post office with boxes and stuff. :D

Somebody threated my dog today, lolol
Posted 13 years agoThis morning, Goku slipped out the door by mistake. (There's not an aggressive bone in his body, same for my Ranger) He saw a dog a few yards over, and went over to go and play. My neighbor took a knife out and slashed at my dog, then threatened that if Goku came into his yard again, he'd take him inside and slice him up. Needless to say, we called the cops. Happy mothers day to me. ;n;
Tomorrow is my break day. :]
Posted 13 years agoThe thought of going back to my real job is making me physically ill, because it's such a negative and poorly managed store... So I'm taking tomorrow off to just relax and watch anime, and maybe decorate my room a little.
I've really been pushing through my yarn tails, and I'm so proud to say that in a few days time I've pushed through a 24" tail. So happy, that's a big step for me. :D

I had a death in the family this morning..

Busy weekend already!
Posted 13 years agoSo. My cat had kittens this evening.
Four beautiful bouncing babies. All healthy as can be.
AND BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING.
She and her brother were scheduled to be fixed a few days after this occurred.
The vet said to wait to see if she was pregnant, and she was. I wasn't going to kill the babies.
So not only do I have four newborns, but the little orphan I took in a few weeks ago is now a month old.
He's beginning to run around the house.
Not only that, but we have an inspection comes monday.
We're not supposed to have cats, just our dogs, lol.
Oh well, we have it all worked out.
Not to mention Reign's mom is in town until thursday.
And his grandparents unexpectedly showed up for the weekend.
Aaaand I have a 40 hour work week coming up starting on monday.
Aaaaaaaaand I'm already tired as hell, lmao.
I may or may not be as active as I always am.
I've got a lot on my plate right now.
Still working on commissions though! Just not necessarily on the internet.

(As per request of my best friends, I can't charge for just supplies anymore. I put a lot of time, effort, and love into these tails. SO. I've changed my pricing guidelines a little bit.
I'm going to be charging by the amount of supplies I'll need for your tail! (I'm a coupon wizard, and use very high quality yarn) So for you, that means you're getting it pretty darn cheap for awesome quality!! Since it is a lot of work and I'm getting a lot better at crafting these, I will start charging for labor involved. Labor will be .75 cents per inch. (Still really cheap!) *Then there will be a fee for shipping. Shipping fees are dependent on where it will be going, and how much the final product will weigh. Since these aren't heavy at all, but the box will be a decent size, shipping runs anywhere from $7 to $16.*
So if you wanted a 24" one color tail, that would be: (EXAMPLE)
$18 for labor + $15 for supplies + $7 dollars for shipping = $46 total
Sound good? Yes? Perfect!
Now, for the statistics of the tails.
**I CAN MAKE ANY TAIL POSEABLE FOR AN EXTRA FEE. The bigger the tail, the less poseable it becomes.**
My average tail sizes are as follows:
6" - 12" - 20" - 24" - 36" -
I can make a tail in any size you want, maximum of 36 inches.
I ask that you measure from the back belt loop of your pants, down to where you want the end of the tail to be, and then give me that number in inches. ^__^
All tails that I make are put on a jump ring, so you can attach that right to your belt loop. That way no one can pull it off, worry about it falling off, etc.
All of my tails are put through a bunch of tests for durability. I will not send a tail out if it doesn't pass and I will fix it/remake it for no extra charge!
I LIVE IN A HOUSE WITH DOGS AND CATS. IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC, PLEASE PLEASE NOTIFY ME SO I CAN TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO NOT DO ANYTHING AROUND THEM.
The price will depend on how many colors of yarn you want in your tail, how long it will be, and if you want to be able to pose it. I may have some colors on hand already, and keep that in mind!

I'd like some more practice drawing, but not so much stress around it.
He's a fantastic writer, and he wants to become a well known author in the fandom. His only problem is that he doesn't know where to start with everything.
So we started talking. We were thinking of charging 10 bucks for a picture that coincides with a story. You'd get both, obviously. He'd write, and I'd draw. Sounds pretty simple, no?
You guys would get about 8 to 10 pages worth of story, and a fully lined and colored piece of artwork to go with it.
It would probably be wise to state you could either give us artists freedom in what you'd like us to portray, or give us a general theme. It would be clean work only, until both of us feel more comfortable with what we're doing. The more characters there are, the less detail there would be in the story.
What do you guys think? Is that a good idea?
