Posted 13 years agoSo, my laptop is busted. It's an easy fix, thank goodness. Cost me 150 bucks of my tax return, but... oh well. I kinda need my laptop and I'd rather not buy a new one.
(Hence why you haven't seen me around)
Though, good news is that I got Reign's old desktop now, and I got my wireless adapter for it today. So hopefully, I'll start moving everything over here and start using the laptop only when I'm away from home. YAY :D
Time to go to work, then come home and download all of my messengers and games and stuff on here. Woooooooooot! :D

I'm going to take them, draw them out in fancy lettering, and hang them on the wall in my work room. Why? To always be motivated...so I never think of giving up or giving in. I always talk about being motivated, but never do anything about it. It's really time. :)

I'm from New Jersey, and not too far from Atlantic City, where Steel Pier used to have a Diving Horse show. Basically, from the 1920s-70s, they would have a horse and rider jump from a platform 40ft in the air into a pool.

It's been almost a month since I've spoken to my girlfriend. :/ I'm the type of person that needs to have near-constant contact with someone I'm dating, otherwise I turn into an emotional wreck. And having Reign here helps that, but on the inside, I'm still kind of an emotional wreck. I feel like if I'm going to be dating someone and trying to give myself to them in a relationship, I should be given the same in turn. I'm going to go out of my way to be online, or make contact possible any way I can..even when it's a bit inconvenient (IE work), to make a long distance relationship work.
And while having not being able to talk is for a good reason, I'm still a wreck inside. T-T
I just miss her.

I've been looking to get a tattoo. A specific tattoo.
I've wanted it since I was 14 years old. (I'm 20 now, that's 6 years)
I've had an idea in mind, and I have photos that can be referenced.
I just need it all put together on paper for a tattoo artist, and make sure that's exactly what I'm thinking it'll look like.
I suck at tribal work. Even with photos to reference.

No internet notice, January 7th to January 10th!
Posted 13 years agoUnfortunately, we won't be able to have our internet switched over in the new place until Tuesday. They've been booked for forever. Poor guy was trying so hard to squeeze us in somewhere, but he just couldn't. Good news is that he gave us a killer discount on an upgrade because he couldn't squeeze us in. We upgraded to max speed u-verse for 5 bucks more. STREAMING WILL BE AWESOME NOW. :D
So, I'll be online until Friday night.
Saturday and Sunday I didn't plan to be online anyway. Moving in to the new house, I won't need internet. Gotta get settled. :P
Monday, I'm going to try and find a wireless connection with my laptop so I can check everything. I also have plans to clean up my laptop considerably, and also set up my new desktop so streaming will be a ton better for you guys. I'll be backing everything up on my old, piece of crap desktop. So now I'll actually have backed up files.

Monday, I'm going to try and find a wireless connection with my laptop so I can check everything. I also have plans to clean up my laptop considerably, and also set up my new desktop so streaming will be a ton better for you guys. I'll be backing everything up on my old, piece of crap desktop. So now I'll actually have backed up files.

For those of you that get together for DnD, do you enjoy it? What do you like best? What should I expect?

One dollar commissioners and plans for the new year.
Posted 13 years agoFor my watchers still waiting on your one dollar commissions from me. Here's the deal.
First off, I know I work slow, and thank you everyone for your patience. It means so much to me. ;u;
Now, I'll be moving in exactly one week. I still have five pieces that need to be done. My plan is to get all five sketched out before next saturday. One is already sketched, and one is being worked on now. In my journal with the queue (which can be found at the top of my profile blurb), is where I'm tracking all of my progress. If you're curious about your piece, please look there. Or comment or note me about the progress. But! By the time I'm all moved into my new place, my plan is to sit down and finish all of your pieces in one-two days. Sketching them out is the hard part for me. So with the hard part over by the time I move, this shouldn't be a problem.

Now for the tl;dr part, lol. Skip if you'd like. XD
My plans for the new year are simple.
I'm going to better my life.
As my watchers as my witnesses, here are my resolutions.
1) Clear my name of any debt I owe. (I don't want the stress anymore. I'm going to work hard for this, to get myself out of it within a year. It'll be hard, but I can do it.)
2) Excel at my current job. (IE, get the promotion I've been going after)
3) Get in shape. (The goal is to be able to run a mile without stopping. I've never done that before in my life. The goal is to eat healthy and exercise.)
4) Don't let my depression bring me down. (My depression has been holding me back, and I refuse to let it do so. I'm a happy go lucky person by nature. Depression is just ridiculous!)
5) Be happy, save money, and get married. (Because this was supposed to happen last year, but yakno, money..)
6) Stay true to myself. (I'm done hiding who I am. This life is my own, and I shouldn't be afraid of what people think of me. My biggest fear is rejection. But if someone doesn't like me, oh well. Too bad you're missing out.)
7) See my girlfriend. (Because I really want to <3)
8) Stay strong. Never give up. Believe in yourself.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Stay safe and be happy! <3

1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
I've tried a few new things... But taking paid commissions is one of the big ones. The biggest thing was accepting the fact that my fiance and I were going to have a polyamorous lifestyle...and being okay with that. (AKA, not jealous)
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I think my only serious new years resolution was to lose some weight, which I did. 20 pounds! :D
I'm definitely making more for 2012. New house, new lifestyle, new outlook, new me.
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
I work until 5:30, then I'm probably just going to stay at home with Jeremy and play video games until 12:05, lol.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Two loved ones, actually. My darling cat Rena and my darling little kitten Tigger. :(
5. What countries did you visit?
I didn't.
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
I'd like to have my credit cards paid off, a steady income, and just to be back on track with my life.
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
To be honest, I'm not sure. I've had quite a few memorable things happen. :)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Hm...that would probably have to be... Learning about myself. What I need, what I deserve, and how I need to fix things.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Debt.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
My back pain started to really kick in this year, hopefully it gets better and not worse as time goes on.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Ranger. :) I technically adopted him, but his adoption fee was pretty big. :P

House bills, credit cards. That's pretty much where all of it went.

Posted 13 years agoMy mother-in-law's house caught on fire a few days ago. (And...stepdad-in-law) They were not home at the time, but they lost their eldest cat, Harley, to the fire. Their dog Annie and their kitten Mufasa are still at the vet. :/
They lost a lot. The house was condemned, and the house is getting torn down completely. It couldn't be saved. With it being Christmas, and for them to lose pretty much everything, and the life of a dear pet... I want to try and get a little bit of money put together, to send over to them. They did have insurance, thank goodness, but that won't replace the little things they lost. Their house needs to get rebuilt. So anything I can do to help, I'm going to try. Even if it's for food. Or the extended hotel stay. Or the vet bill.
Here's the plan. I do have commissions I have to work on. But I'm going to take something really simple to try and raise a little bit of money for them.

It's official! WE'RE MOVING!
