Wow! Feel the love!
Posted 15 years agoI recently added several artist to my watch list on here. I know nothing about them other than I found their art interesting. Very few of them gave me a "hey thanks for watching me" shout, which is Ok, I guess.
But one of them posted a journal this afternoon because they had a question about their car. Since it's something I cold help them with, I posted a brief, but well written reply with my advise. Not only didn't I get a thank you, the journal has been deleted.
Yeah, guess that's the thanks I get...

What a kiss means.
Posted 15 years agoWhat the kiss means...
+Kiss on the stomach = "You have the most wonderful body, my Love."
+Kiss on the Forehead = "I will always protect you."
+Kiss on the Ear = "You give me so many shivers."
+Kiss on the Cheek = "You're adorable."
+Kiss on the Hand = "Be my only."
+Kiss on the Neck = "I want to share this feeling with you."
+Kiss on the Shoulder = "Strip, boy."
+Kiss on the Lips = "I love you... so much."
What the gesture means...
+Holding Hands = "Never leave my side."
+Slap on the Butt = "Oo, nice and soft. Just testing!"
+Holding on tight = "Don't let go of me."
+Looking into each others Eyes = "My Darling... I'm in love with you."
+Playing with Hair = "I can't get enough of you, baby."
+Arms around the Waist = "Come a little closer, Sweetness."
+Laughing while Kissing = "How did I ever live before without you?"
+picking someone up off their feet = "We're going to make love. NOW."
--Advice--
+ Don't ask for a kiss, take one
+If you were thinking about someone while reading this,
you're definitely in Love.
--Requirements--
+Post this again after reading!!
Or you will have a bad year of Relationships. (WHAT??? Chainmail much...?)
If you LIKE, LOVE, OR MISS someone right now
and can't get them out of your head
then Re-post this within One Minute and Whoever you are missing will surprise you.

Huh...FA is enabling my lazyness!
Posted 15 years agoIt appears FA is still bogged down a bit, so I'll wait another day to annoy ya'all with more pics. :-P
My phone here at work is haunted!
Posted 15 years agoIt just picked itself up on speaker, there was a female voice talking then it hung up again!
WTF?
Posted 15 years agoI have a new watch listed as "Removed by the user"?
I woke up with teh sick, joy...
Posted 15 years agoI think it's just my typical sinus infection, but blah, do not want! I had stuff I needed to get done this afternoon, but ended up dog napping instead.
Daisy enjoyed having my lap to snooze on anyway.
Not much interesting happened at work.
I did a test drive with our new mechanic, typical data entry BS, filled out paperwork, took calls and answered stupid questions.
Mostly I was just going through the motions watching the clock.
I did goof off on my iPod some and shuttled a couple repaired trailers to our customer down the road.
When I went to hook up to the second trailer, I noticed the loaded trailer next to it was sinking into the ground and starting to tip. So when I got back I wedged the shuttle truck under it for support and called the driver who will be hauling the load to let him know what was happening.
I did get a funny reaction from the mechanics when I hooked up to it.
It was sunk in about a foot on one side. The shuttle truck doesn't get very good traction on gravel, so I knew I would only have one chance to slide it up the ramps to the fifth wheel and get it to hook. I backed up within a foot of the trailer and verified the ramps were going to be low enough.
Then floored it!
I'm sure the shop guys were surprised when the engine suddenly went wide open, then heard the crash of me hitting the trailer and feared the worse.
The look on their faces when they came running out of the shop was priceless! LOL!
Carrion! ;-)
Posted 15 years agoI don't feel like I slept very good last night and woke up with a sinus infection. But at least I woke up in my favorite way, being snuggled between Daisy and Aggie.
I want to thank you all for the support you've given me. You all have made a world of difference to me, thank you.
I'm going to try really hard to put everything behind me now and only look to the future. And, no promises, but I will make an effort to post something positive and/or thoughtful on here from time to time for those of you who follow this.
"So far away we wait for the day
For the light source so wasted and gone
We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days
Through the fire and the flames we carry on"

Posted 15 years agoI probably shouldn't be writing this out while I'm at work. But the thoughts keep forming in my mind and I couldn't be less interested in work today anyway.
About one year ago to the hour, I had to give the order to have life support turned off and held the hand of my wife of sixteen years as her body shutdown the rest of the way. Deep down I knew she was gone, even before the medics took her to the hospital. But this was the final blow that reinforced the fact it was over. Hope was lost that I would ever hold again the beautiful lady I married.
I think that was the hardest part.
Through all the medical problems over the years, the weight gain, headaches, various pains and problems, general moodiness and two bouts of cancer, I always had hope that we could pull through it and our life would be like it had once been.
It was replaced by emptiness that morning.
"If you could read my mind love
What a tale my thoughts could tell
Just like an old time movie
'Bout a ghost from a wishin' well
In a castle dark or a fortress strong
With chains upon my feet
You know that ghost is me
And I will never be set free
As long as I'm a ghost that you can't see
If I could read your mind, love
What a tale your thoughts could tell
Just like a paperback novel
The kind that drugstores sell
When you reach the part where the heartaches come
The hero would be me
But heroes often fail
And you won't read that book again
Because the ending's just too hard to take"
I'm back! Er, sort of...
Posted 15 years agoI'm back from RainFurrest, now I've got the post-con blues and RL is taking over again. Oh, well, I got to hang out with some good friends and hopefully, made some new ones.
So I'm a slacker, what's new?
Posted 15 years agoI went to The highland fest both days this weekend.
Saturday I kicked around, watch the Tempest concert, ate a meat pie and bought a couple books:

Tempest is good, but it feels to me that he doesn't really like being here.
Listened to an excellent pipe band:

With an adorable mascot:

The Wicked Tinkers is one of my favorite bands. They played today, so I had to go back.

And had some delicious haggis for lunch:

Afterwords I went to a friends house for the end of their football party where I had beers and good conversation with a gal friend of my friends.
So that's about it I guess...yeah, nothing else worth posting about comes to mind.
Oh, the pics of the Tinkers were taken with my new camera from the back of the crowd and the worse with my phone or old camera.
Yup, that's all folks!

Posted 15 years agoDo you remember what you were doing?
http://www.usgs.gov/newsroom/article.asp?ID=2463
Ok, that probably ages me a bit!
Fortunately for me, the first eruption was blown east. I remember we heard something, but didn't know what it was until the radio announced it had erupted. So we drove down the valley to see if we could see anything.
Oh we could see it alright! It was pretty cool seeing the huge plume of ash flowing out of the mountain! I remember thinking it looked like the pictures of nuclear bombs exploding I had seen.
I wish I had pictures, but it looked like the ones you can find online.
My idiot (half) brother and his friends snuck in to the restricted zone the next year on their dirt bikes. They rode all the way to Spirit Lake, or where it used to be anyway.
I didn't make it up there until the summer after I graduated high school. I spent most of a week camping in my truck and exploring around there.
Ah, more memories which are only vaguely important to even me.

Posted 15 years agoWhy do people delete their journals so much here?
It seems to me if it's worth writing about, it's worth archiving.
What concerns me is that on my page it'll say "journal or comment deleted". This leaves me wondering if my comment was deleted because I said something the person didn't appreciate.
This wouldn't concern me as much if I could remember what the journal was. If it's just an ad for an art sale or something, I can understand.
I'm not an artist, I used to draw and have taken a lot of pictures over the years, but I don't have the time for it now.
I appreciate all the time artist put into their work and want to repay them the only way I can, so I do my best to be a friend.
I want to know if my efforts to be funny or supportive aren't appreciated. I want to make friends, not push people away. And I don't want to waste my time if my friendship isn't wanted.
You don't need to worry about me falling in love, or wanting to 'yiff' you. I'm single and realize I can be flirty at times, but it's only meant in a playful way and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. I hope to have someone special in my life again, but I don't take love lightly.
If I'm talking to you it's because I find you interesting and want to get to know you better, not drive you away.
So, please, tell me how you feel, if you really don't want to give me a chance at friendship or want my input, it's Ok. I'll be disappointed, but I promise to not be angry and I'll still enjoy your art, I just won't bother to leave to comments.
Anywho, enough ranting, I have a new bike that is in serious need of a thorough riding. ^.^
