It's been quite literally a dog's age since I said anything on here. Let's go ahead & change that, shall we?
So much has happened since I last posted anything on here. Got through my Patreon campaign, new PC parts have been purchased & are about to be put to use, got a couple of copyright strikes & have had general improvements since the last time y'all heard from me.

So as mentioned, there are new PC parts nearby. Actually, it's a whole new PC, case & everything. That's going to put together tomorrow, so I'm taking the time to give one more post on Isaac, my current PC. Since you wouldn't have a clue what I'm talking about; I've uploaded some pics on here of him. He's old, matted with dust on the inside, and he's survived for a decade. Bottom line here; He may be well & truly past his prime, but he's still an awesome machine with a character of his own. And he's also responsible for every piece of content you've seen from me (Maybe with the exception of one or two that were done on the laptop that was my first machine to use before a serious virus destroyed it). He's done so much, and given me everything I've got now; My skills, my future, my content & now my job.
Yep, I may not be earning enough for it to be called a 'proper' income, but content creation is now my job. I'm my own boss... For now >.>

I'm really sorry you haven't heard from me, especially since a couple or so people added me to their watch list Dx Life went crazy a few months back, and there's still a lot going on. But rest assured, things look as though they're changing for the better.
In light of certain errrr... political fails recently, I know the same can't be said for all. Since a lot of my friends are in the US, I honestly hope you stay strong. This has been the single worst election outside of something you see from Zimbabwe. Really sorry you're under these circumstances.

Anywho, that's my lot on here. Hoping to do something about the extreme lack of content that's been on here & DA for... I hate to say years, but it's not like I can say it any other way >.< It's still a long way off, since there's a lot to still take care of, but believe me, I haven't forgotten the writing side of me. So uhm... 4 months since the last journal. Yeeeeeah >.>

After 4 months, I know this could probably be a lot longer & more in-depth than it's going to be, but a lot has happened recently.

So, let's start with recent stuff & move backwards, no?
Here's why I haven't really been producing much, or more appropriately no content as of late; I've reached a stage in my life where I want to move forward with things. Over the past couple of weeks, I've been sending out auditions to various projects in hopes of making a start on voice acting as an actual career. None of my other projects have been abandoned (Still writing, y'know), but lately I've been feeling more trapped from where I am in life. It's a bit difficult to concentrate on doing something out of passion when reality comes banging at the door so rudely.

The latest episode of 'Voice Reel', this time of the character Raziel from the game 'Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver'. It also showcases the sound quality of the new mic I have.
Oh yeah by the way, I got a new microphone.

Let's see now... Oh yes, there was the Steam summer sales a while back, so I went ahead & got some more titles to work with, as well as play the living hell out of. Looking your way, The Evil Within >u< I would also be lookin The Witcher 3's way, if my pc didn't have a heart attack every single time I'd try & run it for more than a few minutes.

There are some other things like being depressed & other personal stuff that's not fun to read, but for obvious reasons, I'll forego that part. Just know that I'm still here & haven't really gone anywhere. Hoping to though, and that I'll get to share that news with you.

So for now, just wanted to drop by & give a much needed update. Sorry I haven't said much in ages.

I'm going to be honest here; I've already said my piece over on DeviantArt today, and I actually feel a little bit low on articulation right now after giving that much explanation. So, I'm just going to admit that the following stuff you'll see after this bit is a exactly what was said on DA. I know this is lazy, but after the amount of explanation I owe anybody who follows me on there kinda doubles for anyone who follows me on here. That is, if you don't follow me on DA as well. I know some of you do.

A few things have happened over the course of this week, both good & bad. As the title says, it's been mixed.
Before I go into that stuff later though, I just wanted to make a little sidenote; I claimed that I'd have another chapter of Ready for Round Two done & uploaded within this week. Obviously, I didn't succeed in doing this because of how much detail is being polished out. That & I haven't been entirely focused for the past few days. So, to at least the one person who was probably expecting to see something after I said so; You know who you are & I'm sorry I didn't keep my word for this >.<

Now then, onto that very business.
So seeing as I haven't uploaded anything, I'm still working on the same part that is chapter 3 part 1, but with very good reason. Rather than listing a bunch of vague details, I'll just give you the rundown;
Basically, it's been expanded upon quite dramatically. Seriously, if you've read the original draft that's currently available, it's going to be quite different, albeit with the detail still mostly intact. (And I'm actually hoping that some of you haven't <_<'). I've been very reserved about directly changing anything in the overall story, but believe me; This had to be done. Not only were there a lot of details missing or not happening at the right time, but the narrative was a bit all over the place. This does of course lead to small changes throughout the other chapters as well, but only so you don't read something at a certain point & possibly go 'Hang on... Why didn't that happen earlier?'
The thing is, I'm getting close to finishing this part & moving onto the next. I've still got a couple of paragraphs to go yet, but it's close enough that I'm actually getting kind of agitated no one can see it yet. A lot of ideas & creativity went into the first draft, but I know I could've done so much better on the efforts front if I want this to be taken seriously. This time round, that's what I've been addressing & when the rest of it is more up to date, I'll be doing a little advertisement around a few groups, just asking for some general feedback on terms of this being more than just a fanfiction. But of course, it's still in the stage of being polished & there's a while to go yet. But I can also see how much I've done already. Why stop now?

So yes, that's just been my little update on my writing. Now, onto some more personal issues, though I won't go into this stuff in too great a detail.
First off, there have been a couple or so of those days where I just haven't felt focused. The intent is there to get stuff done, but when it actually comes to the thought process involved in thinking of decent vocabulary, it results in me sitting in front of my monitor for several minutes, not typing a thing. It's by that point I realise it's not the best idea to try & force my way through. That wouldn't be healthy for the quality I'm aiming for. Lucky I have a couple of titles to keep me going :P

Next off... Well, I can't say anything too specific on this, for it also involves a friend of mine. Basically, they've made one of those transitional kind of decisions that make others stop & think about where they are in life. I don't know if I should really feel as affected by this kind of impact as I should, but there's always this part of me that feels foolish for being complacent with how things are. Things change, and I always feel stupid for not having paid attention to that. It's not particularly depressing, but when it happens around the time period in which I find out my best friend is moving away soon, it just caught me off guard a bit.
One frustrating little detail about it though, is that it leaves me feeling a bit disorganised rather than depressed. I'm thinking too heavily about real life to concentrate on fiction. Come to think of it, I also end up too distracted by other subjects to even get involved in a conversation. I know it sounds a bit delusional, but to do this kind of stuff it does require a significant level of immersion. But through thick & thin, this project is one of those long term ambitions I have, the second being voice acting.
Speaking of, I'll have to make a video of an explanation + apology for all the inactivity over there. 605 subscribers! It just keeps going up :o

All of that stuff aside, I do have some good news on the gaming front; I got bought Resident Evil HD Remaster >8D Due to my slow internet connection though, it's taking all weekend to install the 17gb it takes up... Capcom, what the hell have you done to make this game so big?! I'm interested to see if it really is that shiny now. The original one was 4gb. That should give you an impression of why I want to go through this one. Plus it was one of the first ever gamecube titles I owned. That, Resi Evil 0 & Starfox Adventures, I believe.

Hallu all :3 Since I've been failing to keep up a regular journal on this site, I'm at least taking the time to give an update while I still have it in my mind >.>

Basically, my computer has been having some pretty major issues, and all I've been able to do for a while is writing. Hence, I've been working on re-drafting the book I'm currently writing; Ready for Round Two. Over on DA, I've actually started vaguely listing changes that are being made, in hopes that it keeps people 'in the loop' as it were. That & I've seen this as the same approach as making a game, minus all the coding... If that makes sense.

The truth is that on here, I still need to actually update the previous chapters, since they're all still in their first draft, so they very well may be a bit painful in how rough they are. But believe me, they'll be updated. This may not be my main site of operations, but that's no reason not to show care for my work, or the fact I have an account on here. It's just there's a lot of other stuff to deal with. It was a very slow year previously for my content creation, and I'm actually getting back into the way I used to do things & am even improving upon them. You may have to wait if you follow me on this site & not DA, but it'll be worth it.

A mini brigade of trolls payed a visit to my channel yesterday. Their target was my trailer for the game 'X', acting as if I was in fact JC-The-Hyena himself. These comments have been reported as spam, since none of these people did their research. Go figure.

Even though they've mistaken me for someone else, the comments that were aimed at JC was just... Wow. How bitter & petty some people can be.

I'm not going to include any of what was said, since these people don't deserve that kind of remembrance or recognition. But here's the deal; The video has been given around 30 dislikes overnight, and a couple of others are still commenting on it, I don't know why they decided to do this all of a sudden, but this the second time this week I've been accused on the grounds that I'm someone else.

This was supposed to be the week in which I started getting things in order again. The week I was going to be back on track, or at least making a start on that.
Instead, I've spent that time half functional with a bug that's left me coughing like crazy with a massive headache. Lovely v_v

I'm on the way to recovery (hopefully), but I'm still not 100%. Best start to the new year ever...

I wanted to take a moment to say that I know I haven't done a whole lot with my profile on here. As strange as this might sound for someone who signed up to this place, my level of interest in this sort of thing isn't exactly... as keen as that of most others here. The reason that I came along is because my writing involves characters that are indeed anthropomorphic. I know that not everybody on here is in possession of a unique fetish, but seeing as that seems to be a great deal of what's uploaded here, it warrants being mentioned.

However, I feel like I'm letting all this go to waste. I haven't really done anything to make this profile one worth watching, but as the new approaches, I'd like to make a start on changing that. Expect more content from me, more regularly in the new year. I also have DeviantArt to worry about, so this place doesn't get left behind either.

Okay, this will be a rather detailed one, so I hope anyone who's reading is in for a long one. It's just that quite a few things have happened in recent times. I think in this case, I should start with the recent & move backwards. It's the only way I'll know that everything's said & done.

I know there's still comments to reply to & a book to finish. But after this, you'll see why it's taken a while.

So, onto the first matter at hand; Isaac has been upgraded. He's even got a new case with a slitted design on the front grill that looks just like the suit from Dead Space 2 :D
He's also got a better processor & motherboard. At first though, the upgrade didn't go so well & it ended up more like surgery. I honestly thought he was gone, but a friend of mine got him back on his feet.
Isaac; the one who was thought to be dead, but has in fact survived. Can you not see why he has such a name?

Anyone here know of Discworld? I hope you do, as it's a very famous series of books (40, to be precise) about a-... Bear with me here; It's a comedy fantasy about a world that is a flat disc, placed on the backs of four giant elephants that stand on top of a huge turtle... Flying through space.
... The turtles name is A'tuin. I forget what the elephants names are >.>
Aaanyway, there's been a lot of adaptions made out of it; Games, cartoons, graphic novels & films. This here is a bit of the first game. It stars probably the most famous character from the series. The cowardly Rincewind, originally played by Eric Idle. However, for the duration of this video, he's played by me. I#'m nothing like Idle & also believe that he's the one true Rincewind out there. But eh, it was also a chance to show off what I can do with my new mic X3

There'll be more voice acting related stuff on the way, but I need some time after having surgery done on my mouth. Removal of my wisdom teeth, more specifically. Between you & me? That anesthetic... Good stuff. I was happy clappy for a while afterwards on the day, hehehehehe- Don't do drugs, kids.
Should be about another week or so, then I'll be all ready to go. No more bruising on my gums.

And now, last but far from least, Parallel Depths;
Nobody's really asked about this yet, but there are a few things I will state right now so you all know. Yes, it is still being finished. No, I have not given up. There are a few obvious factors that have been in the way (see all of the above), but there is one other thing that's in the way; I guess you could call it writer's block.
The thing is, it's not even much of a case of that. I know how the story is going to go. I know what happens next, how it ends, the things that are said to one another (mostly) & I should exactly where I'm going. It's just that a few specifics are either unrefined or just plain missing. I think about PD & the characters every single day, and it frustrates me to no end that I can't get over these hurdles right now. I want to move forward, to the end of this & onto the next one, and the next & so on. I want to show you some of the bigger ideas I have, and believe me; There's a lot to see. I will get this done in time, but I'm not going to force this creativity & make something that will just suffice. This will be something that's made from ideas that have been thought of first. If I do this without caring, it'll show. I know it will & you do too.

The first three parts of a playthrough I'm doing for Brutal Doom. It's got to be one of the best WADs/Custom campaigns I've ever played called Threshold of Pain. Anyone who recognises that title may want to look into the PSX version of doom. You'll see the end level of the first game is what inspired this whole thing. You have that mixed with bits & pieces of the atmosphere & scenery from all the previous games, too.

This one isn't Sonic.exe, nor does it have anything to do with my writing (Not as such). Any of you know of a YouTube called Markiplier? I know I don't sound like him & can't really imitate his voice too well, but I at least tried. See what you think.
It's also my rather strange attempt at apologising for something I said in the comments of one of vids a while back. It was wrong & I know it. I'd rather not go into why I did what I did, but hopefully this shows the respect I truly have for him & what he does.

And now, a small update on my writing.

Things are going pretty well with this, although you may not have noticed some changes made to it. Don't worry though, there have been no plot changes or anything like that.
Here's the deal; I'm working on Ch 4 - iii, but that's being done very slowly along with everything else I've been up to. So yes, there will be a massive delay in that & probably the final chapter to follow.
BUT! Do not think there has been no activity on here at all. Recently, the entire first two parts & most of the third part of Ch 1 has been revised. Long story short, it had problems. Fucking massive problems that I completely overlooked somehow. In all honesty, it actually kind of made me cringe with how many typos & mistakes there were. Seriously, how the hell did anybody get into this story with that kind of poorly spelt & presented opening?! I haven't changed a single event that happens, but that spelling & grammar didn't need so much TLC as it did CPR.

So yes, I am getting things done. There's just a lot of it. As always though, if I'm going to take my time with this then I swear I'll try & make it worth it. Especially with what's coming up in this chapter. And I want to make sure things are at the quality I'd like them to be at.

In the meantime, at least there's some stuff to watch =p

One last thing (And I'm only saying this for bragging right so there), I got to speak with a professional voice actor recently. He's someone I have a lot of respect for after being aware of him through his earlier work. His name is Matthew Mercer & currently, he plays Leon Kennedy in the Resident Evil series. It was by no short stretch, awesome to speak with him. Aside from the fact he's highly skilled at what he does, he's just a good person.

It's a live action series featuring pretty much every Nintendo & Sega character ever made. It's a very dark, very grim & pretty damn violent parody with a nice plot & sense of pacing. You might not be quite so impressed at the start, but believe me. It really gets going. If you've heard Mercer in Resident Evil, see if you can work out which character he is.

This is the 'trailer' for my story/series (of books) Parallel Depths, set in the realm of Sonic.exe. It was made using Doom 64 for the pc & my editing software. The first ever Doom 64 machinima(sort of), as far as I've seen.
