Posted 4 months agoHey everyone! I haven’t been doing very well as far as my mental health, I know I’ve mentioned it before. I have had so much support through therapy and my loved ones. However, I will be staying at a facility in Cincinnati ohio for about a month to heal and work through things that have clearly followed me and made life more difficult to navigate. I won’t have my phone for 2 weeks, but they will accommodate phone calls for me so I can speak/face time my husband and I imagine anyone else I want to.
This is terrifying but I know you all support me and want me happy and healthy, and I want the same as well. Not just for myself but for my loved ones. I want to be the best version of myself because it’s what everyone deserves and what i want to give them.

I was in a car accident recently that totalled my car. I'm in therapy already due to other reasons, which is lucky, but this coupled with my job and the State of The World, it has been kind of been too much yet again for me. NOT to alarm anyone, I mean this in a sense I can't seem to keep up with being online, responding to people, even finding joy in activities i used to be able to. I'm off work for another week and itll fly by. I may not keep that job anyway. I'm not sure.

Commissions Resuming!
Posted 2 years agoEveryone, thank you so much for your patience as Ive been navigating through the passing of my dear boy, Creature. His ashes were picked up this past Friday, so he is home. Im currently back on my queue for the Sippees. If you have any questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for your understanding. Everyone has been very kind and thoughtful during all this.
As for me, I'm doing much better. The house is empty without him, and i think about him every day. I miss him so much but its not near as painful as it was.

Pause on commissions
Posted 2 years agoThis is kind of sudden, but those waiting on Sippees, I apologize but there’s going to be a pause on them. My baby boy Creature’s last day with us tomorrow. He will be crossing the rainbow bridge and it’s a decision that was not easy. He has cancer, and has lost a leg because of it. That surgery bought him an extra 5, almost 6 months and I’m so thankful I’ve had this time with him. I appreciate your understanding as I work through this.

Life and Commission Updates

Posted 4 years agoCustom commissions are officially closed, save for a few people i have talked to in private.
My prices have also been updated for when i do open them again!
It should also be noted that I wills till be doing YCH's, TF sequences, and different kind of adopts.

Life Update and Such
Posted 4 years agoPopping in to say that it's been a weird few months. I got a job, lost it, and im back to freelancing until i can find something again. I have found a lot of joy in doing TF art, so apologies if that's not entirely your jam! I'm building up a queue, and have started a new process of how i work though it!
As of right now, I generally try to get as much sketches out as possible, to reassure clients that I am indeed working on their commission! But I have found that I am able to focus (and ease my anxiety) by working on several pieces at once. After finishing the line art stage with several commissions, that is when I will dedicate to finishing each piece individually. I honestly pride myself on my communication and work flow/speed, but I also want to make sure that everyone receives the highest quality art from me when I'm commissioned.
I have 0 problem clients coming to me and asking where I am in the queue, or any questions or concerns they may have. I do have a trello available to track where I am with my queue and how far along I am with each commission.

Emergency Commissions!
Posted 4 years agoAs you may have seen, im doing emergency commissions of full bodies for $30 instead of my normal price of $50!
My husband I were out yesterday and hit a huge pot hole. had to wait 2 hours for someone to come out and change it out to the spare we had, and then that broke before we could get it to the mechanic. so then we had to get it towed. the tire and wheel are ruined, and we're not entirely sure what's going to be covered by insurance or what and i want to help with the cost in any way i can.

are my adopts too high priced? not unique? too busy? is it just bad luck? i honestly have no idea at this point.
