An artist's feelings.
General | Posted 10 years agoIve decided to make a journal on how I just generally feel as an artist.
I spend hours on my work, which I think is pretty decent art.
But I'm hardly really noticed.
I work so hard on my stuff, but nobody really cares to comment or to really tell me
"Hey! This looks awesome!"
But then it seems the shit that I just kindof toss out, like chibis get more attention than the
art I spend four to seven hours doing. I cant do free art to get more watchers because any art I do
I need to charge because of bills and other expenses. But then people just wait and get free art from me.
It really hits me. Like I know i'm not as good as say Wolfy-Nail, Flecki, Rotarr and all of them but..
It hurts when I put so much work into something and I'm not noticed.
I know people probably wont read this, because let's be honest here. Who really reads journals?
I'm not trying to get personal attention through this, I just want my art to be noticed more, that's all that I really want.

with this auction! Im going to try and test around with colored lineart and different
coloring techniques!
Bidding ends on Friday at 6:00pm Eastern time
There will be lots of delicious, slimy saliva and the background will be an internal shot of you sliding down the were's velvety, warm throat.
Starting bid will start at $15 USD
OR if you're greedy and want to be this were's only meal, you can secure your spot for $60 USD.

Lineart may not be as clean as the past, but i will try and make it look as good as i can, i'm still trying to learn how to draw on my new Huion GT-190 tablet.

Help me get a new tablet FAST.

So a few months ago, my tablet broke and my friend sent me her tablet to use, but now she's going into art classes
and needs her tablet back in a few weeks.. Her tablet i'm using is a Bamboo Pen CTL-470, and i'd like to step my tablet game up and try to get a Wacom Cintique (the cheapest I can get) or perhaps some other tablet that is similar to the cintique like a Ugee, and is in the price range of 100-500
It would help more than you know if you could help me out by looking into my YCH pictures, they come in all types
of ratings and themes. As for right now i'd like to ONLY do SFW YCH work as my father is visiting my husband and I at the moment. I'll be able to do more NSFW in a week once he leaves. My chibis are normally done THAT day for anyone wondering. Commissions usually take a few days/weeks depending on the detail/anatomy and how many people I have in line.
To help even just a little bit, comment below on this journal the types of YCH you'd like to see or what you'd be interested in and if you know of any tablets that are very similar to the Wacom Cintique. Or if you'd like to leave a tip, just note me and i'll send you my paypal!

The sooner I can get myself this tablet, the sooner i can start pumping out art, doing more commissions and doing more free art! It will literally cut down my work time by at the very least 25%

They must stay the gender they're portrayed as.
There are TWO female canine slots,
One female feline
One male horse slot (may be angel dragon)
One male reptile (May be gator, snake, lizard, dragon, gargoyle, stuff of that nature)
and One male canine.
Wings are allowed but will likely be small due to how packed things are and I wouldn't want another person's character to be covered up.
Bidding closes on 3/15/2015 and Payment will be through Paypal only.
Don't be afraid to ask any questions, and happy bidding!
