Posted 12 years agoOk so Im working on a body suit and I thought I had enough fur but it looks like Im gonna be short some. So I need to order it and overnight it but Fabrics.com where I originally ordered it from apparently doesnt overnight it? They only have normal shipping which just isnt gonna work since I need to have it finished by Friday. What I need is the Luxury shag in caramel. If anyone knows where else I can order it please let me know. Im having a panic attack! D:

Posted 13 years agoIm in such a super creative mood all of a sudden its great! Ive been sort of down all week and today I was suddenly inspired to work on things. I finished my outline for nanowrimo, I started making myself a skirt which is nearly done but I took a small break to type this up. Its great to be making something. I havent been really motivated to work on art lately and when I have Im not usually pleased with the results but today I got a lot done. Im thinking about making a small stuffed animal out of the left over fabric from the skirt. So my goal for tonight ant the rest of the weekend is to finish the skirt, make the stuffed animal and possibly some actual art. Oh and homework I need to do that too.
My first tattoo! So painful!!!
Posted 13 years agoSo tomorrow Im getting my first tattoo! Its going to be a giraffe although Im not positive on the design quite yet I know its going to be fairly small and on the inside of my wrist. Ive been going back and forth between a few designs for over a week now and every time I think Ive picked it out I always find a reason that the other one is better. Ive narrowed it down to two designs, so I should have it figured out soon. Hopefully. Im really excited about it though. I decided to get a giraffe since among my friends its something Im kind of known for and I have a special place in my heart for them.
Im getting the tattoo as a birthday present from my parents, and although they were hesitant about this being a good birthday present they finally decided it was ok. Im turning 19 so its not like I needed their permission or anything to get it done,but Its nice to know they will be ok with. My parents dont have any taboos on tattoos either since both of them have one; its just they think Im too young to know what I want. They might be right,but Im super duper excited although very nervous as well since my parents have no problem in telling me its going to hurt like heck.
It did hurt like heck! Not as bad as I thought but still painful. I love how it turned out though and everyone at Atomic Lotus was amazing and super professional. It only took about 10 minutes to do but it felt like a lot longer. If you are ever getting a tattoo and are in the OKC area I definitely recommend them. Mine was about $80 which isn't too bad. I could have gotten it cheaper else where but I preferred to spend the extra money knowing everything is going to be well done and clean.

Posted 13 years agoYesterday I attended an event with my best friend tolka-wolf called The Run Lucky. It was a little wet outside but we got lucky and had the perfect temperature for suiting, although it did reach the warmer side near then end of the time we were there. We got ourselves a lot of attention and all of it was positive which was great. We managed to get away with an entire day with out having a single kid begin to cry or scream in terror. I defeinetly want to do this again next year. I had a blast!

A: I love drawing but as of right now only for friends.
Q: Do you have a table in the Artist Alley / Dealer's Den or a panel in the Art Show? If so, what are you selling?
A: Someday Im sure but right now I would be much happier being a dork in my suit.

A: Meet up with some furs I met last year and hopefully meet some more people! Oh and suit a bunch!

Posted 14 years agoFurry fiesta was amazing! Although I don't think it would have as great had it not been for all the awesome people I got to meet. Thanks to everyone that I got to meet and Tolka for making last weekend awesome. Next Year Ill defiantly be at Furry Fiesta again!
