Yes. And there's nothing really wrong with that, but I would prefer to be able to meet the person.

2013 has been and gone, and 2014 peaks it's head around the corner.
Honestly, I think 2013 has been a great year, and in many ways, I preferred it to 2012.
Yeah, in 2012 England held the Olympics and some stuff went on with Royalty, but really, that doesn't make a difference to my life.
Instead, 2013 has been a big leap forwards in many ways.
It has has it's down sides (like, YouTube messing up their system and Google being stupid).
But despite everything, 2013 is one year in my life I wil never forget.

Bring on 2014! And I hope everyone will start off the year in the best way.

I don't have any artwork to post, or writing, or anything because, frackly, I haven't had any time to do anything. Along with Christmas and College, there hasn't been much time.
Though to New Years day, I'm going to be doing stuff outside of the internet (other than the Wyrm Forums).
I have a Game-a-thon to get ready for a group of people, presents to buy and wrap, work and college work, some other stuff and personal things to sort out.

In other news, I'm working on the last free sketch, which is the one for Maundrill.
I thought I would get it done today, but traffic and a stop at a supermarket to go shopping meant my free time was little cut short today. Tommorow I'm working for most of the day, but I'll squeeze in time to draw for the free sketch.

I'm also doing quite a bit of college work now, which means I may not get everyday to spend on drawing and free time. I have to design two games and make one, which will be fun but so time consuming! Not to mention coding a program for an assignment, they never said ICT Software was going to be easy though.
And uni! I'm applying for uni right now, which means personal statements and interviews and so on. I only wish the UCAS website was easier to use!

So firstly, I've been a little more busy than usually with work and college stuff. I have to write a game review for a college project which goes in depth, and since I want to get a distinction I'm speanding extra time on it. The game I have choosen for it is none other than Metroid Prime for the Nintendo GameCube! I've been playing though it (yes, this is totally college work and is fully justified) and making notes about it, y'know, graphics, controls, gameplay and all that stuff.
I've also been practicing with art and trying to produce art for some sort of portfolio. Unfortunettly, I'm not really 100% sure what I should be putting into it.

I am going to start the whole 'Challenge Me' thing I mentioned in the last journal. I just need to find a way to scan/photograph the are in such a way it atleast look presentable.
I've already got piece one done and I just need a way to upload it.

And of course, Pokemon.
I've been playing though it and all I need is one more badge.
I've also being collecting Vivillon and I got my hands on an extra Contanental one, so if anyone needs one of those I'll happily trade.
Also, I can get the Garden variety so if people want one of those just ask!
I would like a Shiny Stone and Dusk Stone if people have any.

Yeah, I had plans... But a moment of life decided that I should feel pain instead.

What was I going to do?
I was going to start a sort of 'Challenge Me' thing where you comment with requests and I draw and it was all going to be fun!
Until life struck with vengence. >:(

I was at work this morning (from around 7am to 1:30pm - England time) and I was doing my second check of the day on the birds.
You see, I work in a chicken breeding shed and we have to do rounds three times during the morning shift.
The sheds have a 'littler' area (solid wood floor) and a 'slatted' area (small boards with gaps in between).
Some of the wood which makes the slatted area gets old and weak. It's perfectly safe for the birds, they weigh so little (in comparison to a human) that they don't brake even when thier old and weak.
On the other hand you have me, a full grown human who has to walk on them. Unfortunettly I stepped on a bad plank, it snapped and my leg went straight down. The gap was roughly six inches wide and my knee had gone though. I was literally trapped in the floor. It was painful, but what was worse was getting my leg out.
My legs arn't thin, and a six inch wide gap shouldn't fit my leg in it.

I eventually got free, but all of the twisting and pulling I did (along with the fall itself) left me with some pretty bad induries on my left leg.
It's swolen, sore and it was a firghtening exsperience (really, it was! A fall into a pit around 15 foot down would hurt).
I'm hoping it didn't do much more than brusing and a bit of scarring, but it may send me to the hospital if it doesn't go down within the next few days (great! I already have to go to get checked out and booked in for an operation. Why not make it more worth while and get a work indury too).

On a much brighter note, I love the remake of The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker!
And I'm really looking forward to the new Pokemon X and Y (and I certainly hope everyone is waiting like me has a fun with it too)!


Hopefully, I'll start the whole 'Challenge Me' thing tommorow or the next day.
It depends on what happens and whether my leg feels like getting better.
If it doesn't, I'll have to start it a bit later.

I don't often post my own art, due to the fact I don't really feel confident about the quality.
So I was wondering; Would some people like stories, poems and other writings from me occationally?
I like writing every now and then, but again, I'm hesident to post them.
The last piece of writing I posted (which was also my first) was more of a testy, try out story which sadly didn't really carry on for very long. It was poorly written and I don't feel like improving on it to be honest.
Usually my stories or poems (etc) are of better quality, because I spend time on them and I tend to plan out what happens before I start writing (which is soemthing I didn't do for the last one).
If you are interested I woludn't mind a few words from you!

Also, I may open for sketch requests at some point. May being a key work here.
I'm slowly improving and I wouldn't mind having a go at some diffrent creatures and charecters!

One other thing; Feel free to RP (Role Play) with me in this journal. But please, nothing creppy.

Soooo, I just wanted to ask for a little bit of advice on a problem I have.

I entered an auction for a sketchbook which would be filled with art of the winners' charecters.
I won and paid the $100 (USD) bid which I won the auction with. (Around the time of payment the currency convertion made it out to be around £70 (GBP), which is a lot to me because I work part-time and I'm at college.)
This was three months ago...
I didn't exspect the work to be done quickly, since filling a sketchbook with art is a long process and I fully understand that.
The artist (whose name/username I will not mention) hasn't been in contact with me since I paid them, THREE MONTHS AGO.
I have tried to contact them, but they haven't even looked at the notes which I have sent them.
I have also tried to go though PayPal to contact them or possibly get some sort of refund or mutual agreement between us. Unfortunetly, that didn't work and no matter how many times I try, it doesn't work.

The artist promest a sketchbook of art to the winner of the auction and occational updates on work.
I haven't had a single word out of them for months now, and they seem to be ignoring my notes.
I don't know if they have blocked me (I don't think they have. There is no idication that they did.)
(Just to let you know; I haven't spammed their inbox/shouts or comments on any journals/posts they have. At most I've sent three to four notes to them over the three months.)

I'm going to try one or two more times to get their attention, but I feel as if my efforts arn't getting me anywhere.
If you have any advice as to how to sort out this them please share.

Yet another artist has reported having their art work stolen.
Not only though websites like FurAffinity/DiviantArt, but also though FaceBook etc.

It's pretty clear that art theft is on the rise. So if you could; please keep an eye out for stolen art work/adopts etc, and tell others too.
No one likes having their art, charceter, adopts etc, stolen by others. So lets band together and try to catch the theives out.

This is pretty serious, especially to artists who create and sell adopts/charecters etc.

There has been a recent rise in theft of art, particularly adopts and charecters.
Recently people having being stealing adopts and other people's charecters (ocs) and selling them on, sometimes after altering, tracing or renaming them etc.

If you see suspicious activity you should report it!
I.e. You see a charecter you recognise being sold by someone.
It would also be a good a idea to contact the owner of said charecter aswell.

This is happening on DiviantArt in particular, but it has recently been spreading to here.

Yeah, so this is just a general life update. Mostly about me moving house and why I dread (and hate) moving.

At some point (probably during the summer holidays) I'll be packing up and heading to a new house.
The journal will take a whole 30 seconds. Really, it will take around 30 seconds to walk from the door of the old house to the new one.
I'm moving to the house next door to the current one. Most people would just read that and think; "No big deal. It's right next door, not far from anything you know."
Thing is, the new house is so much smaller than the one I live in now.
It has less room, which means a huge chuck of my stuff will need to go. I'm not colstophobic, I'm just so used to being in a huge house with a big bedroom, multiple living rooms and a celler. Oh, and a huge garden.
I also don't like leaving old things behind. Once I get used to somthing I general don't like change. It's like my daily life schedule; it hardly changes, ever.
I've only ever moved one other time. And that move was just the reverce of this one.
I used to live in the house we are now moving into. (Ha ha, crazy I know.)
I only have bad memories of this house though. Which makes this change a whole lot more difficult for me.

Also, I might upload images of my new bedroom to my scraps. I doubt anyone would be interested though.
Unless you guys have ideas for design?
(I suppose one good thing about this move is the fact that I get a gaming setup in my bedroom.)

Anyway, since it is summer holidays and I have around two months off I thought I could offer some free sketches.

So... I haven't been active over the past five days or so. But there is a reason for that. And I really need to let off some steam from a few things, so this journal will probably turn into a sort of rant or something.

Firstly, I got my self Animal Crossing for the 3DS! It came out last Friday (England release of the 14th of June) and I've been a busy bee playing it like mad. I've already gotten a rank two house (don't know how I made enough money).
I'll be posting my friend code some time so others who have Aniaml Crossing can visit my town! (I can't just yet because don't have my 3DS or my code written down anywhere because I'm at college.)

Secondly, I've been playing Wizard 101. I started playing about a year ago, but due to the fact that my laptop broke I wasn't able to for a long time. But I've gotten back into playing occationally.
I named my charecter Alura StromGem (ALURA STORMGEM). I don't know if any of you play it, but if you do we could always team up.

Lastly, and this is kind of scray, I haven't been feeling myself over the past few days.
I won't go into detail about it, but I don't feel very.... how to put it.... mentally stable?
I've always been a bit edgy and I have pretty bad OCD and I'm easy parranoid, but now I'm starting to have really bad thoughts.
Don't think of me as a lunatic though, I'm not insane (I hope). But I just wanted to let people know that this is the reason why I haven't been commenting or writing as much as usual.

I'm not feeling great about myself, but since the holidays are starting soon I should (hopefully) stop stressing myself out with work and assignments.
I'm also planning on uploading some art I did, but it does depend on whether my scanner actually starts to beehive itself and scan art properly. Otherwise I may need to resort to a camera... :L
