I just wanted to ask some of the digital artists about the Bamboo drawing pad.
A shop is selling them on my college campus, so I'm likely to pick one up.

I'm not sure exactly what kind it is.
Would you recommend them? Pros and cons?
And would it be good as a starting point?
I want to do digital art so I need one.

Hello! I just wanted to ask if any of you are into Pokemon.
I'm sure a lot are, but I was wondering, are any of you the kind who trains for EVs, breed for charecteristics etc?
Basicly, the players who spend an age planning and traning teams.

I was just wondering, because I'm one of them.
Most of the Pokemon groups I've seen tend to lean towards the casual play and don't really have pages/information on EVs, breeding and training etc. It;s also really hard to find the grup members ho are.

I would like to have a chat with those people, get a few hints etc.
Unfortunetly I haven't done much competative play because I can't find others like that, and I don't really know what is 'hot' at the moment in terms of stratagies etc.
(I really don't like fourms, so I don't join in and post stuff in them. Long story short; I had a really bad experience with a forum which has left me a little cynical about them.).


I'm a pretty big gamer, and I've been so for years (for as long as I can remember).
What kind of games do you play?
I'ma fan of adventure mostly, but I really enjoy any type of game. The only game genre I don't tend to look into is first person shooters. I do like Metroid Prime though and Jet Forse Gemmini!


Also, I'm working hard on improving my sketching skills.
You've may have seen the sketches I did in my gallery. I work hard on them, and one is a new charceter (Another one? Yeah, but Hide is part of a pair).

I'm working on a sketch for Madshy (a little gift) and a sketch of an elf. Unfortunetly I'm really bad at humans etc. Hopefully it will come out ok.

I'm also nearing 1000 page views, so I may do a little sketch giveaway or something. It kinda depends on whether I'm busy at that point.

This list is long, and is bound to get longer. I love creating charecters and getting adopts (then coming up with personalities and backstories). My Fursona
My fursona, and my main charecter. I love her and I spent months on her design.
She isn't the first charecter I ever created, that would be Neo Fox.
Her design is a mix of the roundness of chibi style and a more sleak, long style which is the key to why she is so cute.
Most of the art I get tends to be of her.

Amoung them is Neo Fox, my first ever charecter who is also the design of my fursuit!

Capri
The Australian surfer dude dog. He was being sold by a user and seemed to get over looked by people, which is odd because people seem to really like his design and colours.
He has a beautiful, intricate design with diffrent shades of orange. Love the hair do on this guy!

Haimon
One of my favourite designs ever. He's an adopt, and currently one of only two of his species (correct at time of writing this).
He's a violent beast who seems somewhat lonely; a complete contrast to Shinsetsu who he also happens to be friends with.

Neo Fox
The first charecter I created. She's a fox and has come to life as a fullsuit which you can see >>HERE<<

Who is this?!
Well, he's a Zanshi (a closed species) and has his refrence sheet done. All I need to do is upload it a write out his bio.

Apologies for yet another journal today. I don't do these this often, but this is something which has been on going for a couple of months.

Those who have been watching me for a while may know that my laptop, the thing I do pretty much everything on, got a really bad trojan. (I belive it was the randsom trojan or something similar.)
I tried evertything to get it going again, but alas, this was a troublesome one which stopped me from accessing the desktop so I couldn't even perform a scan and removal, or even get some software from the internet to help remove it.
I even tried booting it up with a recovery disk but even that failed.

I finally gave up and just handed it into the computer store in college, the reason why I didn't earlier was because I dreaded the cost. Having someone fix things is usually pretty costly, and normally I'm able to fix things in my own home with very little cost, I can even take a computer apart and change it.

Three hours after I had handed it in I came back to check up on the process, at that point the guy was still scanning the hard drive (he had to tear my poor old laptop apart...) though an external scanner thing, which is something I certainly don't have at home.
He managed to find three, THREE trojans! No wonder my laptop freaked out.

Today, five days after I had handed it in, I went back to check.
They have done their best to remove anything malcious, and the best part is:
completly free of charge!
You don't know how relived I am about that. I was exspecting a huge bill for it. If I hadn't gone to my ICT tutor they could have landed me with a £70+ charge which I am able to pay, but like most people I prefer to hold on to cash for other things.

I'm so relived, and happy!

This is more of a general update, but before I go on about mundane things;

Ouch, banging your elbow on to the very corner of a set of draws while making your bed... (Genuine bedtime injury right there.)
I'm just such a clumsy person, and I'm suprized that I haven't broken any bones yet. (Bar one, I broke open my skull when I was a kid. I have a scar in my hair which is bald as proof.)
My bones must be pretty darn tough to not even fracture once over the years.
Disprite that though, it can still really hurt if I bump myslef hard enough. This last hit was right on the soft bit on the elbow and have left my left arm very sore and hard to use.

Please, if anyone has some sort of miricle cure for clumsiness don't hesitate to comment about it!

On a much better, and much more interesting note;
I'm planning on offering free drawing for charceters.
I've been playing with styles and I have come up with one which is just to cute. Obviosly I had to use Shinsetsu as the test, and I must say it came out pretty well.

I'll be (hopefully) posting a scan of it sometime.
Once I've done that I'll be offering free slots for it. I know, that from the last couple of pictures I posted, some people are probably thinking that it is sub-standard. But please belive me, I can draw!
They will be tradisional sketch style pieces which may or may not have some colouring.

Hello everyone!
Two things to cover in this journal.

Firstly, does anyone know of any human/elf artists which will do a good refrence sheet for an elf charecter?
I know a couple, but I would like more choice.
I'm looking for an artist who does good, clear refrences (preferably flat coloured) at a reasonable price. (Price isn't too much of an issue though.)

I've been developing my elf charecter for a while now, and I'm ready to get a refrence sheet.

All of their art is stunning, and probably their most popular thing is the pixel icons they make.


Is good at making charecters look cute but also does great 'painted' pieces which look really, really good.

As for me, I spent the afternoon on a Photoshoot at Myerscough college.
My sister, a student and freelance photographer, invited me to come and be a model for the students at Myerscough to practice shooting photos. The only difference is that I was in my fursuit!

So for the next few weeks (maybe) I will be uploading photos from the Photoshoot. I'll probably space them out a bit as not to fill up peoples' submission inboxes! XD
I haven't seen any of the photos yet but I've been told that the students are pretty good photographers so I'm exspecting some loverly lighting.

We had a proper set up this time with lights and a backdrop rather than outdoor landscapes and such. (Was a little warm under those lights. ':o And the flash was really bright!)

So, that's what I've been upto today!
Now I have to brush and get my suit ready to put away.

Video games and tea?! Could life be any better for an English gamer?
Ok, the tea thing is pretty stereotypical of English people and the fact is there are a lot of English people who don't actually like tea.
But me, I love tea. Well, only when it's made to my precise instructions.

I thought I'd just post a journal which is a bit like a diary today, since journals are pretty much diaries.

I love video games and I also collect games and related items. I especially like collecting rare games, the kind of games which tend to be pretty highly priced.
I don't have a clue how many games I have but a quick guesstimating leads me to think around 100 of them.

Today I got something to add to them in the post. A game which I had been hunting since I knew it exsisted; Banjo-Tooie!
Any gamer who loves N64 should know the Banjo games. They are masterpieces!
The first isn't too hard to get, the second is the rare one.
I tried to get one online but they cost roughly £70-£90 with the box.
My auntie from London (I live in the North-West) found it in her collection and decided that I'd appreciate more know that she doesn't play games very much anymore.

I spent today playing Banjo-Tooie while drinking tea.
I had the tea pot and my little tea cup and saucer. I much prefer tea that way.
Oh, and with about 1/4 milk and around 3 tea spoons of sugar. Yeah, no wonder people don't like the tea I drink, they think its way to milky and sweet.

So, are there any fellow gamers out there?

Bullying, regardless of whether its phsical, cyber or just making someone feel bad about themselves, is wrong. No one should have to put up with it; unfortunately some people have to.

This is just a quick joirnal about a few things. It isn't really that important.

Firstly, one of my sisters got married.
I didn't mention anywhere but my sister had been planning her wedding for months. The actual wedding happened on the 13th April 2013.
I was the bridesmaid of honor (something which I didn't see coming) and my other sister was a bridesmaid.
I'd prefer not to say to much about it since I'm not exacly happy about some of the details.

Secondly, I still haven't fixed my laptop and now my two desktops can't be used on the internet because we need to renew the anti-virus. (It's quite pricey.)
(I'm writing this on a college computer during break.)
I think I will probably need to get the laptops' hard-drive wiped completly.

Finally, I'm in quite the mood. A bad mood that is.
Sorry if anyone gets what seems like an angry or aggresive comment/relpy. My mood has nothing to do with FA.
I've just had a pretty bad two week holiday.
In fact, FA seems to be the only thing which doesn't tick me off right now.

Hey! How's is going?

As the title says, I'll be doing a large charecter bio update over the next week.
It's not that exiting but I thought I might as well let people know.

My latest addition; Haimon, has the best bio out of all of my charecters so far.
I'll be re-doing his as well to add some more information and to set it out better.

A quick question to you all;
What sort of information do you think should defineftly be in a bio?
I will not be writing the full back story for them in the bio on their references though; I'm going to do that as a separate piece of writing/story for each one.

Some of you may know that my main laptop has gotten a bad Trojan.
I wrote about it in my last journal and as of the moment I am writing this I still have not been able to rid my laptop of it.
If you are up to giving some IT advice it would be a huge help!

This... is not good!
Ok, I have serious problem I need help with. It's about my laptop which is the thing I primerally use for work, surfing the internet etc.

My laptop has been blocked from use, even when I'm not connected to the internet or after I turn it off and then on. (I'm writing this on my iPod).
Apparently, according to a message which just suddenly blocked me, I have been sharing copyrighted content thus leading to my laptop becoming blocked.
Firstly, FurAffinity is the only places exsept FaceBook which I upload anything on. I have never broken any copyright laws while I've used either of these.
Secondly, this message I revived seems a little fishey... It claims that I must pay £100 within 72 hours or.... something will happen. Not only that, it also provided an feature where I can enter Bank/Account details to pay the so-called fine.
This..... This is the mark of a scam. A scam which aims to drain my bank account dry.

If I turn on my laptop nothing, not even the desktop, loads. I'm thinking that it must have picked up a virus or something which has slipped though the security net.
Oddly enough, just a few minutes earlier my laptop had blocked a pop-up. Then I got the pop-up on screen. Seems weird since my laptop supposedly blocked it.
There was nothing on the pop-up so I just closed it. I think that pop-up must have been the cause of this problem.

So yeah, this is a cry for some help with my laptop. How should I go about fixing it?
This is actually slightly embarrassing since I'm a level 3 IT student who gets distinctions on work. Unfortunetly, all my studying and practice has been for coding program's and designing them, not how to get rid of some crazy virus which seems to have the intent on getting at my money.

In a nutshell:
Susspisious pop-up.
Block seemingly failed.
Then the message about being blocked and fined.
Can't get my laptop to start.

I can still do stuff since I have my trusty iPod and two desktop computers downstairs so this will defineftly not be stopping me from doing anything. It just means my laptop can't do anything; which is a huge kick in the crotch because my laptop is the ONLY one which can run Minecraft (not hurting so bad about that but It certainly gets me angry) and has work, files etc, which I need.
Please help! :(
If you have any advice I will be very greatful if you put it in a comment.

EDIT: 6th April 2013

Attempts to start the laptop in safe mode failed.
-Does not load desktop, can use Ctrl Alt Delete but can only log off/shut down.
-Shows white screen for a while, or shows the screen for the Trojan.

So thats it so far. A little side note to why the fact I can't use Minecraft is so bad;
I've been working on an adventure map for months. All my planning/building and such is n that laptop and since its the only thing I have that runs Minecraft I wasn't able to backup any of the progess onto anything else and do checks.

Hello everyone!
It has been some time since I ordered my fursuit, and in my last journal I noted that my fursuit was complete.
Well now, it has been delivered to my house! The exitment is hard to cover up!

Now I officially change my artist type to Fursuiter and rest assured, I will be posting photos soon.
My sister -who I have mentioned in an earlier journal- is a freelance photographer. She does some good photos too, the only problem is she is terrified of costumes.
I wish people could see her reaction the first time I put the head on! XD

If any of you have any tips about fursuiting and looking after fursuits please comment them! This is my first fursuit, and I have never worn a full costume before.
My main worry is washing it and I'm a little apprehensive about placing it in water since drying it out will take a long time...

Hey everyone!

I've been very ill over the last few days so I haven't really been checking out art recently. Its a real shame since I really enjoy checking out some of the art people do...
I don't suppose anyone knows a great way to get better quickly?
But enough about that!

Oh, gosh! It's snowing outside! I love snow! :3
I have a few updates about things I'll be doing soon.

Firstly, I went a bit art crazy for a few days and I've gotten commissions from several different artists. One is finished and I'll be uploading the picture soon (when I get home. I'm at college right now writing this on my iPod.)
Hopefully you'll all check out the artists I've been commissioning when the pictures are done! :)
