3. Tell you my first memory of you.
4. Tell you what animal you remind me of. (No, not pokemon, animal.)
5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you, and your answer has to be as vague as possible to keep the suspense.
6. Tell you my favorite thing about you.
7. Give you a weird nickname.
8. Tell you what's on my shirt right now.
9. Challenge you to post this on your journal.

Why does it ALWAYS have to be like this?
Posted 15 years agoWhy is it always that when you find a good comic to read, that you always end up getting to the end, or the point of no more strips so much sooner than you think you will? I really hate this, because I have a tendency to really get into good comic strips. This one that I've spent the last few days going over has an awesome story line, and I've really gotten into it. You can see the artists talent grow over the years since he started, and the story line managed to keep me hooked the whole way. It managed to get insane near the last bit, and i'm SOOOOOO sad theirs no more to read yet! If you all want to see, try reading the comic yourselves, it can be found at http://twokindscomic.com/ , just click First comic at the bottom of the most recent comic on the home page.
Lead them home, Yukla 27.
Posted 15 years agoFor those of you who don't know, I am a member of the United States Air Force. I am a maintainer with the 552nd Maintenance group, which is tasked with keeping our country's fleet off AWACS (Airborne Warning And Control Systems) in top shape. In September 1995, we lost an E-3 in Elmendorf which took the lives of all 24 crew members on board. The last week of July 2010, we lost a C-17 on a training mission that crashed 500 yards to the left of the final resting place of Yukla-27 and her crew. All four hands were lost. Any time that we loose airmen our airforce mourns. We all feel the pain and suffering of those passed on, and their family's left behind. This post is to ask all of you to pray for those four airmen lost while defending our country, and to pray for all of their family and friends who are suffering tonight. I also ask that those 24 crew members of Yukla-27 to help lead them home, and guide their way through the darkness to the light.

We sit down and they start talking some bs before he looks over at me and starts to ask me questions. They were asking me questions for my Below The Zone package their submitting at the end of the week. Their actually going to put in a BTZ package for me! If I actually win the award, ill get to rank up in August, instead of next April. I'll also get to test for Sergeant in march next year if I make it! Yay!

What if?~
● I died:
● I kissed you:
● I fell:
● I lived next door to you:
● I showed up at your house unexpectedly:
● I stole something:
● I was murdered:
● I cried:
● I asked you to marry me:
● I was hospitalized:
~Would you~
● Trust me enough to sleep in the same bed as me?
● Keep a secret if i told you one?
● Hold my hand?
● Study with me?
● Cook for me?
● Love me?
● Date me?
● Have sex with me?
~More ~
● When and how did we meet?
● Describe me in three words.
● What was your first impression of me?
● What do you think of me now?
● What reminds you of me?
● Could you see us together forever?
● When's the last time you saw me?
● Are you gonna re-post this to see what I say about you?

Things that happen at military ceremonies...
Posted 15 years agoThings like this are one of the only reasons that I go to ceremonies, aside from honoring thoes who serve beside me that are being awarded for their hard work... This is something that they commonly do at any ceremony we have where food is served in my wing, I don't know if they do it elsewhere, but it goes like this, announced by the ceremony announcers... its shit like this that makes me want to cry, it really does.
As you entered the dining area this evening, you may have noticed a small table in the place of honor near our head table. It is set for one. The military caste is filled with symbolism. This table is our way of symbolizing the fact that the members of our profession of arms are missing from our midst. They are commonly called, POW/MIA. We call them brothers. They are unable to be with us this evening and so we remember them because of their incarceration.
This table set for one is small, symbolizing the frailty of one prisoner alone against his oppressors. Remember!
The tablecloth is white, symbolizing the purity of their intentions to respond to their country’s call to arms. Remember!
The single rose displayed in a vase reminds us of the families and loved ones of our comrades-in-arms who kept the faith awaiting their return. Remember!
The red ribbon tied so prominently on the vase is reminiscent of the red ribbon worn upon the lapel and breasts of thousands who bear witness to their unyielding determination to demand a proper accounting of our missing. Remember!
A slice of lemon is on the bread plate to remind us of their bitter fate. Remember!
There is salt upon the bread plate symbolic of families’ tears as they wait. Remember!
The glass is inverted, they cannot toast with us this night. Remember!
The chair, the chair is empty, they are not here. Remember!

A change in career plans...
Posted 15 years agoSo, after waiting a month to go talk to my commander about my education plans, he told me he wanted me to go to the education office on base, see a counselor, then go back and see him. Well, when your commander tells you to do something and get back to him, you do it!
So after going to see the counselor, i found out some interesting things. I wanted to get a degree in engineering so that I could become an officer, but the thing I really want to do, is pilot. So we talked about that for a while, and I found out that the main thing that I need to do for that, is not get a degree in engineering, but a degree in aviation. Some of you may have known this, but I didn't! So after this, I went to OU's website, just to see what they had. They have an aviation program ranked in the top ten percent in the united states!!! So when I go back to my commander, i'm going to see if theirs ANY type of programs that will aide me in this! I would LOVE to be able to say I have a Bachelors in Science in Aviation!
one of my dreams in life has always been to fly... never have I thought I might actually get the chance, but here it is, laid out in front of me! All I have to do is take the first steps...

LONG DAY IS LONG
Posted 16 years agoAlright... LONG DAY IS LONG.
So we had some issues earlier... turns out that between when Kaiya went to the hospital last sunday, and today that the odd contractions had caused enough stress on the baby to cause him to have his first bowel movement early. The doctors and shit said that it happens, but my mother was like they need to get him out. the Meconium is the babys first bowel movement, and if it's in the amniotic fluid then it's getting in his lungs and eyes and crap... and it's not good for him :( They refused to do the C section when we found out, and insisted we wait for hours and hours more. If there's something wrong with him in his respiratory then that hospital will belong to me soon.
So I guess you figured out by now, but i'm a daddy :3 to an 8lb. 6oz. 20 inch long baby boy... who has huge feet, mind you x3 *insert penis joke here* He seems to be eating well Kaiya said, to the point she had to switch breasts a few times :3 Hopefully I won't have to sue the hospital and we will just be able to move on from here. He doesn't have baby fat, he's actually pretty lean, and he has strawberry blond hair, and my blue eyes :D! Im going to sleep now... call me if you want, i MIGHT answer... kthxbai.

This is bullshit...
Posted 16 years agoSo here I am at three thirty in the fucking morning, for the 6th day in a row at work. This week i've been working 12 hour shifts every day from 6 pm to 6 am... its fucking brutal... the only thing more brutal is I might have to be doing this for the next 6 months if the wing dosn't pass this inspection .
For thoes of you who don't know, were in the middle of an ORI. ( Operational Readiness Inspection ) And if we fail, were boned. 6 MONTHS of 12 hour shifts for 6 days a week. I cant believe that I might be having to work like this for the next 6 months. The only good thing that im looking forward too is that me and Kaiya are getting to go home the week after next for 9 fucking days. That's right, our asses are going back to georgia!!! I cant fucking wait to see some of my old friends again...
I really want to go to atlanta and see all of my old friends there, but i've been having a real hard time getting in touch with anyone from atlanta :( I know that one or two of you are still on my friends list here, you need to give me a reply, or leave a comment for me so that I can get in touch with you and set something up? Like do we still have the tuesday meetings at the steak and shake? That would be badass :( When is the bowling meeting thing?
I also cant wait to get home because my dad is going to give me a few of his guns to bring back home with me ^-^ Ohh god its going to feel so good to shoulder that .300 Weatherby and fucking blow something to hell XD *evil laugh*
Now on to what i've been up to lately ( aside from my fucking 12 hour shifts ). I've been playing a few new games lately, most of which are on steam. If any of you have ever herd of Killing Floor, or Zombie Panic Source ( ZombiePanic.org ) You should let me know, and hit me up! I've been palying both of these games for a while now and i'm really lookin for more people to paly with ^^
In my home news, Kaiya is almost 7 months pregnant now... not too much longer and i'm going to be a dad... im so freakin scared out of my mind it's not even funny. I don't know how the hell this is going to work... I just hope that me and kaiya can pull through it with flying colors. We've been through a LOT of hard times together, so I know that we will be able to do this hands down... but it still worries me... I guess that's just the unknown part of it. I think that going home is going to make a lot of this so much better on us... just being able to relax and see our families again before we start one of our own.
Another note... *sigh* Why does it seem that all of our oldest friends are suddenly turning against us? I'm not going to mention any names... but i've been so hurt by a few of the things that have happened in the past 30 or so days, that i've honestally had bad things run through my mind... Some of the people that I thought was going to be in my life forever are gone now... ( no, no one died... but it feels like it ) and it's really hard for me to come to grasp with it. (Like, the whole thing now i've pretty much blurred through on my journal now, but at this point i've had to stop and think......... ) For the ones who have decided that their lifes would be better without me/us being involved in it, I really hope you the best in your lives, and I hope that you all find happiness where ever you go... you may not be friends with us anymore, but that dosn't mean that you don't deserve thoughtful wishes, and the best of luck in your future.
(nice, im trying not to cry now x.x i hate being at work this much) So in the 72 hour that i've logged at work in the last 5-6 days, ive put over 30 into FF9, hahahaha! Atleast i've had something to occupie my time with...
Oklacon was interesting for the little time that I got to be there. I stayed and played predator and pray on saturday, and of course they let me be a predator. I was decked out in my ABU's for the camo goodness, and it aparently payed off, because no one but the MAC truck killed me :D I ended up surviving in the long run ( Not once did Fire, Disease, or the diseased pray kill me XD ). I had a close call with Fire, and disease in teh first half of the game, but I SOMEHOW managed to get away, it was insane XD I hurt for a WEEK after that game from how hard I ran, and how long we played. I ended up being only the second predator to ever survive in predator and pray in the... what, 4-5 years they've been playing it? All Corsie had to say was "Our armed forces at work, ladies and gentlemen!" It made me smile ^^ Hehe.
Well, I guess im just gonna end this here. I don't know really what else to say, except Happy Birfday peaches ^^ Six, eleventeen, ARRRRR >.> (I think that's right? :3 ) Peace Furrehz.
